pacing the room waiting for zyana to get back, he was getting aggitated. zane burst out an expletive, scaring the guards outside the room.

"FUCK i really need to talk to her." he shouted. frustrated he went to the bath house to cool down. as he selected his soap he heard the herald announce the arrival of guests.

"oh hell who is here now." he mused. getting dressed again he arrived downstairs to see the leader of zyana's old tribe. " and what do i owe this honor too?" zane asked, barely masking his annoyance.

"im here to talk to my mate." tristan replied snearing at zane the whole time.

"I think you mean my Naga you pompous prick. and why should i let you see her? last time you threatened her life. i dont think i really want to let you anywhere near her." zane said, spitting his words like venom. as he said this he smelled zyana walk into the room, and turned towards her.

" he decided that he needs to talk to you. do you wish to deal with him or should i take out the trash?" zane questioned.

By the time Zyanya had found Zane, she had already shifted and dressed, and walked right into the room they where in as she tied her hair back,frowning she glanced over at Tristan then back to Zane, she really didn't want to deal with Tristan right now and it was only because she could feel Zanes agitation. '' not really in the mood to deal with him, but if he makes it quick i promise not to get pissed and maul someone. '' she muttered, sliding a glance back to old clan leader. '' and i would be a little more polite if i where you .. your not exactly in your home turf right now.''

zane smirks at tristan before he turns to zyana and sais " im going to our room, meet me when your done, his smells disgusting." zane turns to tristan. "i have eyes and ears everywhere, one move towards her and you die, one threat on her life and i will make your death slow." zane smiled, fangs glistening in the low light, before he left the room.

she blinked and tried her best to choke down the slight laughter that threatened to bubble up.. '' have you know i am a wolf too.. does that mean i stink?" she teased before watching him leave, it was surprising that he did threats like that to Tristan. However once he was out of the room , her full attention now went to the wolf in front of her, keeping a safe distance away from him she leaned against one of the far walls, eyeing him up, trying to assess what he planned to do..'' so talk.. my time is limited and if your wasting it you might as well leave. ''

as zane got into their room he chuckled. she should know she didnt stink to him. "silly woman, how could she think she smelled like anything less than heaven."

she waited silently, though every now and then her thoughts where going to zane, she really wanted to get out of there and back to their room. wondering what he was doing at the moment before she glanced back down the hall. '' why don't you come back some other time tristan... maybe in a few weeks.. kinda busy at the moment. ''

Tristan just eyed her with amazment. "what happened to us? we used to be close, then HE takes you and you fall for him. do you have some sort of stockholm syndrome?" he asked rolling his eyes. " your smarter than this zyana, he is only going to tire of you and go to his harem again. come back to us, come back to me. i love you and the clan needs you, and the hunting party you took with you." tristan said and upon seeing zyana raise her eyebrow he stated, " and dont look at me like that, they wouldnt have left on their own free will, you sent someone to get them."

she stared at him for several moments before giving a slight snort'' now you know better than that, if they didn't want to come they didn't have to, '' she scowled, eyeing him closely , she was not about to forget the way she had been treated while in the pack. '' no i don't have some sort of syndrome, your just jealous that someone else has my attention and it is not all on you. if the clan needs me they know where i am at.. they can live here, Zane already said they where welcome. ''

tristan snorted. " you dont get it bitch, your coming back if i have to force you, i wont be told no." he grabbed zyana by the arm and smacker her soundly before getting grabbed by the guard. another guard surveyed zyana, upon seeing that she seemed to be knocked out he rushed from the room to get zane. as he burst into the room he told zane " the dog has attacked zyana. we have him in custody but i think that you should come down, she seems to be hurt badly."

zane shot off down the hall like a mad man, as he burst into the room he decked tristan and hissed " if she is hurt badly i will send you back to your clan in tatters. i swear it on an'hamirak." turning to zyana he tried to wake her before shouting for the court guard to bring the medic. "and hurry you lazy git or i will skin you alive."

the last thing she remembered was talking to tristan before being hit soundly , she had no idea how long she been out but she knew she hurt, her head pounded and she could already hear shouting and swearing in the room, her jaw ached as she become more aware of where she was at and the fact that she was on the floor just as she heard Zane call for a medic and threaten to have the guy skinned if he didn't hurry.mumbling slightly she groaned as she tried to move only to have pain burst in her skull, she was having one huge headache.. ''bloody hell. '' was the only thing she managed to get out , barely even noticing the fact that tristan was fighting against the guards as much as possible.

hearing zyana speak zane swore, "bloody hell i wanted to kill him. well i guess now i just have to personally take him back to his clan." zane turned to his guards and said " you three with me, the rest of you, take her to the medic wing and keep her there til she is better, then keep her safe til i get back, dont let her leave the palace." he then turned to tristan and hissed " you get to travel with me, but first," zane stabbed tristan with a needle. " that will keep you from shifting, if you try anything funny we will kill you. for now we are taking you back to your tribe and telling them that if they wish to follow you they are to stay away from the castle unless they have gotten it ok'd from me or zyana." the guards grabbed tristan and dragged him out following zane.

she managed to force her eyes open as a pair of hands took ahold of her arms and hauled her to her feet, atleast they were alot gentler then tristans. , glancing at zone she rubbed her jaw, winced again and knew she was going to have a huge bruise. '' if he cannot shift why are you going?" she really didn't care what happened to tristan any more, he brought it upon himself. She didn't even get an answer from zane as she was being dragged off to the medics ward, where she was forced to sit and endure the poking and prodding to her face to the point where she was going to bite someones head off before the medic managed to slip her a few pain meds that had her asleep fast, curled up on the bed in the room, with of course two guards watching her like a hawk to keep her from slipping away , yea right like she was really going to do that with the way she was feeling.

zane told the guards to go on ahead he would catch up. "i forgot something at the palace. i will meet up with you. if he tries to escape use the arrows i gave you. that will give him a nice shock." zane shifted his weight and ran back to the palace, straight to the medic wing, catching zyana as she fell asleep. " love i have to take him back because i need to inform the mistari of what he is doing. they rule this whole region and i hoped they could help with this feud he seems to have caused. i will be back love." he said before he kissed her and left to catch up with is guards.

she fell asleep almost immediately after zane had come back to explain to her, she barely understood it but figured it was the meds messing with her head.

She woke nearly several long hours later, her head still hurt but she atleast felt a little better, and once she got the go ahead from the medic she was allowed to leave the medic ward and head to her and zane's room, of course the guards following without disturbing her as she went , managed to take a hot bath before laying down again, from what the medic had told her , a few bones in her the side of her face was a little cracked or fractured, which would heal soon enough due to her being a shifter. stretching out she sighed, she hated waiting,a nd didn't like the fact that zane had gone off, but it was his duty. closing her eyes again she sighed and slowly relaxed, hoping to get maybe a few more hours of sleep and hopefully zane would be back by the time she wakes.

as zane arrived at the mistari lands he and his party were quickly surrounded by mistari guards.

"we come here for a council with the disa." zane said.

a few of the guards left as the others led them to the meeting room. when zane saw the dias he almost cried at the beauty of the room. surrounded with pillars of black marble veined with gold. as he marveled at the beauty the heralds cried the arrival of the disa and dio. zanes attention immediatly snapped back to the dias and he bowed.


" my dear disa, our people have run into a problem with the wolves. this leader," zane nodded towards tristan. " has threatened my Naga and has just today attacked her. we come here for your wisdom and guidance in ending this feud without more blood shed." zane implored.

the disa looked at tristan and asked, " what is the cause for your brutal attack on his queen?"

"she used to be my mate til he kidnapped her. after she fell for him i banned her from the tribe but i realized that she might be staying because he threatened her. i went to try and get her to come back and she denied me. i am alpha none of my subjects say no to me." tristan snarled.

"as i remember it your tribe is run by the FEMALE alpha, not the male. she is not your subject. i must confer with my husband and then i will give my oppinion. you may each have a hut for the night and i will give my answer in the morning." the disa said before she left the room.

Zyanya woke in the morning the usual and now normal upset stomach, getting up and taking care of a few personal things she realized soon that Zane had yet to return, she was now getting worried, even though she knew things like this may take time. the side of her face still ached but not as bad as it had been the night before so it was easy to ignore it as she went down to get food. Of course her two guards following as usual, they would not stop until zane gave them the go ahead and since he wasn't there yet, they had to keep following.

She spent most of the morning now talking and visiting some of her pack mates, old friends who now seemed to be even more happier living there then they had been with tristan. right now she knew tristan was already getting himself in trouble without help from zane at all. Now with a small plate of food with her she sat on one of the benches outside and watched most of the guards train , it was a bit entertaining to watch the men spar around in a friendly sport. they even joked with one other, so it was easy to distract her from her worries.

Zane was woke up to the sound of shouting and ripping flesh. springing up from his palet he saw tristan fighting with some of the mistari guards. " i will not let her stay with him. she is my property, betrothed to me at birth." tristan screamed tearing at the guards trying to get to zane, murder in his eyes.

the disa gently walked into the room and looked at zane, " you may leave, go to your wife. she needs you." zane bowed and turned from the room, his guards in tow. as he approched the edge of the village he heard the growl of a tiger followed by a scream and tearing flesh.

Zane ordered his guards to shift, " we will get home quicker if we do that."

By mid afternoon Zyanya had already done everything she possibly could to keep herself busy between watching the guards train and spar, to talking to several of the female guards that she had become friendly with, by now she was worried once again and needed to do something to take her mind off of things.

Watching as most of them went back to work,she managed to get a bowl of varies fruits and taking it with her to the bath house, needing to soak and hoped the hot water would relieve some of the tension from her body.She was wondering what the Disa would decide on Tristan, if he got himself killed what would happen to her pack? would she be allowed to lead them again?

Frowning as those thoughts moved around in her head she stripped before sinking into the warm water. Krista, one of the other female guards she had become good friends with , was in the bath house with her, since the two male guards where not allowed in. they had to stay out.

Krista watched her for a moment before going over to sit down behind her.'' you know you shouldn't worry so much.. the Disa is fair, she will only punish those who did wrong. ''

Zyanya glanced up at her as she picked out a couple of grapes and cherries, she was not usually fond of fruit but she had cravings for them now, '' can't help it. i never really had to deal with this... sorta problem before.. Zane and the others are the ones i am worried for.. Tristan brought it on himself.. think the power got to his head'' she mumbled, closing her eyes slightly when Krista began to rub some jasmine oil into her back. the gentle scent helping her to relax more. '' just wish he would hurry up and come back. '' she hated waiting, waiting games where not her thing, well unless she was hunting then she could wait all she liked to ensure the capture of a prey.

as zane arrived at the palace he could smell zyanya's oils, and the tension rolling off her. he turned to a guard and asked where she was.

"in the bath house sir. krista is with her." the guard replied. zane immediatly set of for the bath house.

"zyanya are you feeling better? because we need to travel to your pack. tristan is dead and they need a leader."

Zyanya jumped in surprise at hearing Zanes voice, relaxing immediately she finished off her food before getting out of the bath, krista handed her a towel to quickly dry off before getting dressed.. '' feeling better, even more so now that your back'' running her fingers slightly through her wet hair she let Kirsta put the things up as she stepped out of the bath house , looking him over before frowning'' dead huh... was that the decision or was he just too stubborn and hard headed he ended up like that anyways?"

"i dont know the decision, he died because he tried to kill me in my sleep. the mistari guards caught him and the disa killed him herself." zane replied. "your people need explaining and i didnt think that me going alone would fare very well so i am bringing you, their true leader. and if you wish to stay and rule them that is fine. they are your people."

she frowned, tilting her head slightly up to look up at him..'' would rather bring them here.. there is plenty of room.. and only if you allow it, other wise i think they can camp outside your territory. '' tugging slightly at his hand she headed towards where she knew where her people where at.. '' besides, my people are very understanding, most didn't like to be under tristans thumb of rules.. '' she looked him over slowly, '' sounds like his sneaky self trying to kill off something in its sleep that posses a threat to him in any way. ''

"Your people are my people now. they may stay where ever they are comfy. if they want to camp outside the palace walls that is fine. and tristan was a bad ruler because he was jealouse of anything that posed any kind of threat. but let us go, we must talk to our people." zane said as he took off running dragging her behind him. "im excited, i have never seen how the wolf clans live." he said grinning like a kid in a candy store.

she squeaked slightly before giving a soft laugh as he pretty much dragged her behind, she had to catch her footing several times before easily keeping up with him, '' same as you i think.. we build our own homes and well, we always look out for one another.. '' she teased, rolling her eyes'' that was him alright,.. think what really stuck in his craw was that you had me and he didn't.. he saw me as property that got stolen from him.. '' she shrugged, before watching him, smiling again at the excitement that was clearly shown on his face.'' and i am sure they will want to be move in on the inside of the place walls, means more safety for us and well. they can easily help you when you need it.. '' she grinned.. '' atleast it is now feeling like peace between the wolves and everyone else. ''

Smiling zane suddenly stopped and kissed zyanya, "my woman your are beautiful." he said before he took off running again. as he ran he shouted back at her, " i will have the walls expanded out, they may build a village within the walls, if they like they may work as guards in the palace, they would be helpful for tracking down criminals. Your clans are very artistic, they could have stalls in the marked, showing and selling their goods. oh the cultural advances this will bring. when we return with them, we will have a party in honor of them."
