"omg thank you. i was so involved in keeping her safe i completely forgot about the stench of that harlot that clings to me." zane said as he darted to the bath house with one final shout. " i will have the apartment set up for you tomorow. and you have your pick of what is left of my female guards if you want, or any of my female subjects. oh and you are equal to me, say what you wish and have no fear of offending in the future." zane finally reached the bath house and used the oils that zyanya favored the scents of on him. " i hope this works to get her in a better mood." he mumbled.

he gave a slight laugh'' your welcome. .. now then, time to go dispatch those that have.. lied '' he may be good at it but he didn't enjoy it. that was a plus for him.. following zane to a certain point he shook his head'' i will only pick whoever likes me.. is there any suggested way you want them taken care of?" he had hoped he got zane in time but he saw him dissappear into the bath house.. the thought of picking any of the free females was a little distracting though. he hoped zane definitely got zyanya in a good mood, grinning slightly he walked through the hall, he knew how zyanya's moods where.. half the wolves got the crap kicked out of them if they so much as pissed her off.

"they can sit in the jail over night. i want to be there to see your handy work, and possibly participate. they threatened my wife and child, that is not acceptable." zane said.

He glanced back at the bath house before responding '' alright , i will be back at the village so just send for me like always. .. give Zyanya my best.,, definitely wish you good luck on that part. '' he shook his head slightly as he headed out of the palace.

Zyanya knew how long it would take for the interviewing of all the members in the palace so she wasn't worried when nearly seven hours had past,, she managed to sleep some, got up and checked on aiko. even changed her, and managed to get her back to sleep again as she waited.

zane finished scrubbing slut off him and went to zyanya, naked. he walked in rubbing his arm " i forgot clothes before i went to the bath house. sorry." he said strolling to the closet and getting dressed, before looking at her to see how much trouble he was still in.

she was laying on the bed relaxing and didn't even open her eyes as she first smelled zane first before hearing him come in. opening her eyes slowly she looked him over, atleast he took a shower and no longer reeked of kirsta., he had used her favorite oils as well, which told her he was trying to suck up... she wondered if she should let it work or not.. '' hmmm.. so how did it go?" she glanced at his arm that he was rubbing, sitting up slowly and keeping her gaze on him'' injured?"

"no waiting for you to go psyco-bitch again. im waiting to see what i have to dodge now. im not used to people throwing things at me." he said peeking up at her. "and it went well, we are disposing of the people we found to be guilty tomorow. brian and i are going to learn from eachothers styles." zane said smiling. it would be good to have another male as protective as he was of zyanya to hang out with.

she arched a brow slightly , ''heh calling me a bitch is not being nice, and its not helping your case for me to not throw something at you again'' she teased slightly , watching him as he pulled clothing on. '' exactly how many where there? any of the wet nurses?" she could tell he seemed to have struck up some sort of friendship with brian, it was a good thing really .. '' brian has learned alot over the years.. think you can keep up with him?"

"actually all of my wet nurses were turned. which sux. but im sure i could talk to one of the mothers in the nest, they would be willing to help." zane replied, ignoring the bitch comment. "and i wonder if brian could keep up with me, im protecting my family, he is just protecting his alpha." zane smirked.

she frowned'' thats definitely not good.. '' she muttered, it ruined her plans to have a wet nurse help out.. she would just have to feed aiko until they found someone to help. '' don't underestimate him hun, brian will protect me and aiko. considering aiko is my first child and her right as alpha to my clan.. ''' she shrugged slightly as she leaned back placing her hands behind her to support her as she eyed him.. '' heh you have plenty to protect you so i doubt he will even try to do that unless you absolutely need it.''

she frowned again rubbing her neck as she was getting another headache.. '' great... how are you going to replace your personal guards?" she knew brian would do good job as a personal guard, so didn't even question that. she really didn't think how they where going to dispose of the ones found guilty.. '' well.. how many exactly ? '' a handfull she was sure, more than that was just down right scary.. reaching over she tugged him closer, making him sit down next to her so they could talk.

" in total about 200. and i dont plan on rebuilding my personal guard. i will take from yours and we will have a family guard."

she blinked in surprise before giving a slight laugh'' well than... i hope you plan on giving them big rooms... we are wolves hun, we like our space. and most of them have families.. '' hearing the number she sighed'' though that is an extreme amount. .. how hard is it going to be to find a new wet nurse?"she glanced at him again , '' still worried i am going to throw something at you ?"

" i will have one for you tomorow. that is first on my list then killing the traitors in a painful way." zane replied before he climbed into bed with her. "how is the baby doing? is she eating good? are you feeling good? your taking the anti-venom right?"

she scooted back to give him room to climb in the bed'' heh yes yes and yes on all three, aiko is doing fine, i am feeling good, a little mood but good'' she frowned.. '' painful? i don't even want to know what you and brian are going to do to them'' she smiled slightly '' eh.. not tomorrow.. do it the next day, gives me a chance to feed her a few times to get a good bond.. .. still though i want atleast one of us to be in the same room with the new wet nurse.. '' oh yea she was definitely paranoid.

" you may be there to watch. how am i suppposed to know if she is doing it right." zane said as he wrapped his arms around her. " i love you, and im sorry for what i did earlier." he apologized before he kissed her.

she nearly laughed at that comment , rolling her eyes slightly '' not what i meant. i mean to make sure aiko is still in safe arms, yes they all passed the lie detector test and all but i am paranoid and i will stay that way until i am comfortable with it. '' she relaxed against him , looking up at him as he apologized before being kissed, , it was hard not to kiss him back since he smelled soo damn good and he had apologized.

Zane smiled to himself when she kissed him back and then he stared humming a song from phantom of the opera.

she leaned back and poked him '' why are you humming?'' first he was kissing her and now he was humming it was a bit strange and she figured she must have knocked some sense out of him when she threw something at him. '' heh do i have to call the medic or something to look at you ?"

Zane crosses his eyes and acts like he has been hit on the head. "omg i may have been knocked stupid from you throwing things at me earlier." he laughed. "nothing is wrong with me, im just in a better mood knowing that you and Aiko are safe now."

she couldn't help the laugh again as he went cross eyed'' gosh don't do that you look weird doing that'' she shook her head as she rested against him.. '' always safe... i wouldn't let anyone harm aiko. and you should know i am safe'' she rolled her eyes'' by the way , you only have to worry about me getting sick from the venom if aiko's actually bites me with those teeth of hers.. hasn't happened yet.''

Zane rolled his eyes. "i guess your right. well it is time to sleep dear. we need to be rested for tomorow."

she smiled and layed down completely tugging him next to her'' sleep is definitely good though i am sure i did enough of it.'' she sighed as she stretched out, know aiko would be fine until morning. '' leave me out of whatever you and brian are going to do tomorrow heh i don't want to see that. ''

Zane kissed zyanyas head before he grabbed Aiko from her crib and nestled her in between him and zyanya for the night.

next morning:
zane woke up and immediatly sent for brian to meet him in the prison wing. upon seeing brian walking up to him zane nodded and shifted, expecting brian to do the same. but brian stayed in human form. zane entered the room after brian and hung back, letting brian start. he had to admit brian was good at what he did but he was to fast. zane shifted to his human form again and said. "Brian stop. you are killing them to fast. you promised torture. this is quick and reletively painless..." zane was interupted when a guard entered the room to say that there was an issue needing his immediat attention. zane instructed brian to continue as he left. he was informed that his brother had not killed Krista but himself, Krista was locked in the room but still needed punishment. zane strode into the room, smelling fear pouring off her, along with arousal. "dont even look at me you beast. what happened? did you kill him because you couldnt get to me? make it look like you had done your job to the monsters you align yourself with now?" zane spat at her feet. he motioned for a guard to bring her to the room with the others. " i want her to see what her fate will be. " zane said before leading them to the prison. zane grabbed his bow and shell of arrows before he entered the prison. telling brian to stop and get out of the way he had Krista and the rest put at ease. "im not going to punish you. you are all absolved of your sins against the crown." zane lied smooth as silk, before notching an arrow and shooting it straight through the head of the first person he aimed at. he continued til everyone but Krista was dead. " do you see what you have caused? all these peoples deaths are your fault. do you feel no pain for their loss? of course not, your a self serving HARPY BITCH FROM HELL!!!!"he screamed before shooting her with 4 consecutive arrows leaving her alive to die slowly. " dont touch her, no one helps her or eases her pain, or they die too." zane said as he left to return to his room.
