she was able to feed till aiko fell asleep, yawning slightly she layed back, keeping aiko in her arms as she lightly rubbed her back, she felt a little off, most likely do to the venom and whatever the doc was giving her to off set it. she wasn't sure it was needed anyways,wondering if aiko even had potent venom anyways. she may be both wolf and snake, but she wondered if it lessoned the affects of the venom. she really didn't know. she would run the theory by zane if he ever got his head on straight..

After talking to the young man for a little bit zane wandered back to the medic wing, finding zyanya looking sleepy. he walked into the room like he hadnt left in a huff, not wanting her to know how worried he was. he knew that because Aiko was a cross breed her venom wouldnt be as strong as his but it could still kill. there was a reason that C'Jarsa couldnt know about Aiko, she killed all cross breeds before they had the chance to live a full life.

she glanced up when she heard him coming in , frowning sl ightly she eyed his face closely , trying to assess what it was he was feeling or thinking'' you know its not nice talking things out between me and you.. '' she mumbled. glancing down at aiko again'' she is really adorable, definitely quiet like the doc says..'' looking back at him again she shifted aiko in her arms'' wanna hold her? warn you though if you jostle her too much she might spit up on you. '' she had seen many babies do it, and it was actually funny when ever she watched the men make a nasty face at it. but atleast they took it in stride.just one of the many things that came with baby territory, that and dirty diapers.

Zane took Aiko from zyanya and sat down. he focused on his daughter because he didnt want to fight with zyanya.

she watched him as she layed back and shifted a little on the bed, she was now feeling the soreness in her belly but managed to ignore it. Reaching over she lightly poked him a little in the side.'' heh not nice to ignore me hun. tell me whats on your mind. i wanna know.. '' she atleast was trying to focus on him but now that the whole adrenaline rush and everything else had died down her body just wanted to make her sleep for a while and rest.

she watched him before sighing, pulling her hand away as she moved carefully on the bed to get comfortable. she was trying her best not to get snappy at him again but he was really pushing her buttons. she wanted to talk about whatever was bugging him now before it caused more problems but he was determined to have it his way. She was willing to compromise with him but they can't really work on it if he refused to even talk to her. '' fine.. let me know when she wakes up. '' she grumbled, closing her eyes, why men had to be difficult she really didn' tknow.

Zane nods and continues to pay attention to Aiko before he hands her back to the nurse. "im going to our room. i will be there when she is ready to come home." zane said before he walked out of the room.

she glared at his back this time watching as he up and left again. seriously he was too damn moody at the moment and she was really getting irritated at him for it. luckily for her she is not like the normal humans, the shape shifters had a higher healing rate so she knew she would be up in a few hours, that is if the damn doctor didn't keep knocking her out with whatever meds he kept trying to give her. she watched the nurse put aiko in the little crib before she decided to take a few hours of a nap. it would make her mood better atleast. she just hoped zane would take a nap as well and put himself in a better mood before she threw something at him. glancing at the medic slightly she stretched a little'' wake me up when i can get out of this stupid bed and back to my own room''

Rather than go back to his and zyanyas room, zane went to his brothers room to talk to krista. unfortunantly zyanya was not going to like how... intimate the process was going to be.

zane entered the room and asked his brother gregory to leave. gregory knew what was happening and left the room with only this. "if she is at fault allow me to administer punishment, its my job as her husband."

Zane nodded and turned to Krista. "krista, you belong to me now. you will tell me what i want to know or i will treat you like the slut you are." grabbing her hair he stripped her skirt off thinking to himself i hope zyanya will forgive me for what i am about to do. "tell him that she is to be punished, and i want it done by the end of the night. and do not let Zyanya any where near her." zane stated before returning to his room and finding zyanya in their with a pissed off look on her face.

after a few hours zyanya had been woken up by the medic of course, who told her she was allowed to leave and go back to the room with aiko.. she was told the baby was completely healthy and with another warning from the medic on how she was to only feed aiko with him around only just in case something happened she was up and moving about, not as quick as she would like due to the sutures in her stomach but was still fast. she gathered up aiko into her arms, giving a small gentle smile to the sleeping little baby again as she headed out of the medic ward.

she barely even noticed that she had passed Zanes brother, her attention was on her child up until she passed the room, she had slowed, before stopping and going wide eyed as the smell hit her, though she could barely make out the muffled sounds through the thick door. swallowing slightly in total shock because their was no mistaken zane's scent in there as well as krista's though hers was tinged a little with the scent of fear. which got worse by the moment and she definitely detected the smell of personal sexual scents as well. shock had quickly turned to a pissed off anger, going straight to her room she quickly layed aiko down on the soft bed of her new crib so her hands would be free to throw something hard at zane the moment he walked in the room.

the moment he walked in though she picked up the closest item that she could and hurled it at his head, she had no idea what it was as long as it was solid and would hurt like hell if it managed to hit him'' you bastard! do you think i am an idiot to not know what you damn well did?" she was definitely pissed and the fact that he just walked in still reeking of the deed made her anger double.

"No stop, its not what you think. let me explain, i couldnt go to C'Jarsa, she hates half breed children and kills them. she would have known about Aiko and hurt her. i did it because when i enter a woman i can see her past, if im looking. i have never used this on you because i have never needed too. i did not have sex with her persay. i just used her to see her past. Zyanya she was planning to kill you as a plot to help the obsidian guild get into power. they had her mind under their control. she was a threat to all of us, not just this family but your people and my people. she was going to put a group into power that would have killed alot of people on their way up." zane explained, hoping that Zyanya would understand.

she was barely even half listening to him as she flung something else at him that had been near by, she didn't know if he dodged or not as she turned her back to him and stomped around the room,seething, some of what he had said registered quickly enough in her mind and right now she just didn't know what was going on any more, first he refused to talk to her and now he did that with krista, and then hearing that krista was not only plotting against her but had potentially put her family at risk just pissed her off more , krista was a good friend, one of the only ones she really got close to. the betrayel was definitely something she wouldn't take lightly.

She somewhat understood why he did it, protecting aiko was definitely one of the things that would always come first to her. so knew it would be the same with him, still, the fact that he hadn't come to her first before doing it, pissed her off.. She stayed on the far side of the room to keep from throwing more stuff at zane, forcing herself to ease her breathing and calm herself with a few deep breaths, the amount of information he just threw at her was all bunched up in her head and she had to sift through it to make any real sense of it without getting pissed off at him again. After a few long minutes she slid a glance towards him.. '' what is going to happen to krista?" she had to know, considering personally if krista had been a wolf, it would have been Zyanya to carry out a death sentence. but since krista was a snake, she figured there where different rules.

"her husband will kill her, usually i would have done it because no one can survive my venom, but he requested he do it. i have guards posted to make sure he does it, if he tries to save her by sneaking her out, both of them will die."

she stared at him for a moment, thinking it over slowly, didn't matter if krista was pregnant or not. she did something she shouldn't have and she was paying with her life.. She doubted she will get another best friend like that again. she wouldn't trust anyone around herself or aiko other than zane. she trusted the other wolves to a certain extent.. '' what is going to happen to your brother after.. and if he carries out... the sentence?"

she gave a slight nod, before her thoughts went back to the guild that apparently had gotten to krista..'' and this group? what is going to be done about them? and i would suggest you rescreen your damn guards.... i am not going any where near any of them until i am satisfied that they are not going to somehow betray any of us. '' she muttered, glancing to aiko as well, she narrowed her eyes before looking over at him'' and your damn wet nurses as well.. every single one of them..'' she had planned to only nurse aiko a few times just to ensure a strong mother and child bond before letting a wet nurse do the rest just to keep zane from having to worry so much, but now that this was happening she was highly nervous and paranoid.

'' uh huh.. next time talk to me first before doing something like that again... especially if its someone thats a close friend to me. .. or something else will get thrown at you that might be sharp next time'' she mumbled running a hand through her hair in aggitation though some of her anger had gone done, she slid a glance at aiko again , making sure she wasn't awake even as she heard the guard take off to get brian. she glanced at zane again '' heh,, not sure if you can completely handle me hun'' she teased slightly trying to get her nerves smoothed out more.

Brian was definitely quick to respond to a summons by his alpha, eyes wide and curious he appeared in the door way silently with the guard behind him. He glanced around curiously seeing stuff on the floor that had been thrown around'' not sure i want to know what i am being called for.... '' he mumbled glancing at zane.. '' trouble?"

zane turned to him and said. " i need you to go with me and tell me if the guards are lying to me. we have an issue with the safty of the royal family, your alpha told me that no lie can slip past you, so i need you." zane strode out of the room assuming brian would follow.

He glanced at zyanya, giving a slight smile, '' definitely and she's right.. '' he mumbled slightly watching him leave, he quickly followed , not one to disobey an order.. '' even good at torture too. though i don't suppose she told you that.. '' he definitely had a cruel streak in him, but only to those that betray his alpha and his pack. he was definitely one of the very loyal ones to her. '' how many am i .. interviewing?"

Zyanya watched them leave before she went and cleaned up. still having a bit of anger to deal with, and she should have told zane he better bathe before coming back into the room. '' oh well '' she muttered, finished with her cleaning up and layed down on the bed, having the crib next to her so she could wake easily enough if aiko cried.

6 hours later...
" well thats all of them. good job, you caught people i didnt even know were lying. i want to offer you a permanent possition as my personal lie detector so i never get deceived again. you and your family would be welcome to an apartment in the palace if you wish." zane offered brian.

Brian was definitely tired but he was not showing it as the last one was shown out of the room, stretching slightly he slid a glance towards zane.. '' sadly its only me. i don't have a family . atleast not yet.. '' it was something he was definitely working on though. '' its not that he hadn't tried before, just most of the pack members of the wolves knew what he did and didn't want to get too involved with him. '' think i will definitely take that offer though, as long as it helps both you and my alpha. '' he rubbed the back of his neck before sliding a glance to him again '' might i suggest a bath? you don't exactly smell..... err.. no offence but you reek of another female. '' oh he knew what zane had done, he wasn't stupid but if zane wanted to get back in zyanya's good graces he should atleast bathe the stench off him.
