Magnus laughed, shrugging. "I don't know. You're one of a kind. And not exactly the most prone to glowing with happiness" he teased, poking him in the side lightly. "I don't think fathers are supposed to glow. . . I think they're supposed to brag to everybody else and look smug" he said, thinking about it. He would do that, if it didn't mean endangering their child. Downworlders and the Clave would want posession of their child as well as Sebastian and Valentine. He was positive. He pulled himself gently from Magnus' arms to sit up and stretch a little. "I need a shower, is that all right?" He looked around first. "What time is it anyway?"

"Your loss" Magnus shrugged, but he grinned again. "Well, I can brag to Isabelle. I think she might be more excited than both of us put together" he laughed. it was true, as sad as it was. He let Alec pull away and he shifted slightly. He was a bit sticky. "Mm, I have no idea. Five-ish? Anyways, mind if I join you?" he asked, raising his eyebrows a bit. They could both use a shower, and he quite liked the idea of showering with Alec. Plus, it saved water. He wasn't made of money. Unless he wanted to steal it from a bank. It would be so easy to. But he didn't, knowing the Clave would be on his ass the minute they found out.

Alec was just getting up for the shower when he froze and turned to stare amazed at him. He wanted to shower with him? "Uh...umm..." he stuttered, wide eyed. He admittedly did want to shower with Magnus, but at the same time would it be awkward? "S-sure, if that's what you want to do." They were both already naked from the previous activities, so all they had to do was turn the shower on and get wet. He headed for the bathroom, a little self conscious about walking around Magnus' house nude. He would bet Magnus did this a lot. He turned the knob on the shower to heat it up, waited a moment before stepping in under the spray of the shower. He had to get the last of the dried blood off of him, and the grime and sweat.

Magnus grinned at the expression on his face. He grinned even wider when Alec said he could if he wanted, and he watched his boyfriend walk to the bathroom. He enjoyed the view from his spot on the couch for as long as he could before he got up and followed. He was perfectly comfortable walking around naked. He walked into the bathroom and stepped into the shower after Alec, glad he had a large shower. His bathroom was his sanctuary in the mornings. The water beat against him gently, he let it rinse of his back first and foremost. Everything came next, and he did his best to restrain himself from looking over at wet, plain Magnus, and quite potentially staring. The warm, soothing rhythm of the water made Alec sigh in content. He had Magnus with him, and he was warm and safe. He ignored the paranoia in the back of his mind about Sebastian. He didn't want to think of that right now. He lifted his head to let the water pat down on his face, letting his thoughts get washed away down the drain where all the dirty water was going. Magnus made sure his hair was thouroughly soaked before he looked over at Alec, letting his eyes travel down, watching the water slip down his scarred body, before back up, making no attempt at hiding his gaze. Just as Alec expected, -but hadn't known when- Magnus had him pressed to his body, his back to Magnus' front. They were wet and warm, and the water was wet and warm. It made Alec shiver at the feeling, despite all the warmth surrounding him. Magnus felt his lips twitch upwards when he felt the shiver run through Alec's body, and saw the blush on his face. He laughed at the question, leaning his head against his lover's lightly. "I would repeat it. Maybe change the words around a little bit" he said, a smile working its way across his face. He had many ways to call someone attractive tucked away, from eight different centuries. If he could remember some of them. "I know more words to call you hot than you know runes" he snickered, pretty sure it was true. It was an interesting concept. You must know quite the amount of languages if you think something like that." Alec knew Magnus would repeat it over and over until Alec was convinced too. Magnus would tell him anything, and it would be true, at least in his eyes. He sighed deeply at the feeling of Magnus' strong, warm hands moving down his torso, both parts of flesh wet and water pouring on them. Magnus grinned slightly at that answer, confident that it was a yes. He let go of Alec when he shut the water off, getting out. He stayed where he was, enjoying the view while he could, tilting his head slightly before following. He grabbed a large fluffy towel off of the rack and dried his hair off with it, running it over his torso before wrapping it around his waist. He grabbed a comb off of the cluttered counter, working the knots out of his hair quickly before turning to Alec. "Want me to comb your hair?" he asked, quirking an eyebrow. He wasn't sure if he would decline or not, but it was always better to comb your hair after a shower. Brushing it gives you split ends, unless it's dry.

Finding where Magnus had gotten his towel, Alec grabbed one for himself, these being a lot nicer and cleaner than the ones in the Institute, which had been through plenty with them. As disgusting as they were, with all their stains of blood, demon ichor, or even mud, they didn't usually buy new towels to replace the old ones. Alec turned his head to the offer. He didn't often brush his hair, leaving it messy, unless he really had to for a special occasion, or if a member of the Clave was showing up. He had to part his hair sometimes and look half decent. "If you really want to," he replied, the towel wrapped around his waist after he patted his body dry.

Magnus was well aware of how little Alec brushed his hair, and as well as the look worked for him, he really should brush it sometimes. "Mm'kay. I will" he said, grinning slightly before lifting the comb to his boyfriend's hair, starting with the back, which was normally the worst. He put one hand on Alec's hip while he worked, methodically working out knots and tangles, ignoring the water that still dripped from it. "You know, many people would be jealous of yoru hair. You should stop abusing it" he commented in a slightly teasing tone, although he was only half joking.
