Charlie nervously set down the remote on the table, and let out a sigh of relief. "Thank you. You don't know how much that means to me.", he said, looking over at her, his nose catching a whiff of the fish as well. His ears perked up and he petted Nuka lightly, hearing him purr. He slowly got up, the wound causing him a slight bit of pain as he winced. "The fish smells great!", he said happily, forgetting about the news broadcast as quickly as he could.

she laughed softly as she set the fish in the pan to cook with the glaze coating on it. '' its not even cooked yet. but thank you , wait till you taste it.. oh and your welcome, i don't think that place would help you anyways. '' frowned.. '' their controlling ways would just cause more problems i think.. '' watching the fish shook she quickly got out some sides. veggies for one side dish and garlic mashed potato's for the other. getting a bowl down for Nuka she gave him a small amount of milk, setting it on the floor for him before she went to the fridge to get his fish.'' i am actually hoping one day to open up my own small restaurant . not a huge one . just a small one . like one of those corner diners you see.''

He smiled and walked into a kitchen, and stood alongside her. "Thank you so much.", he said with a smile. He sneered a little at the vegetables, he was never too fond of them. "I think you would be good for it.", he said, going back into the living room. "You definetly seem to enjoy cooking.", he said, looking aorund her house a bit more while he had the chance. He saw some pictures up on the wall, and glanced at them for a moment before looking around some more.

she laughed softly at the little sneer he gave to the veggies. '' oi. mashed tatters are not veggies so you can't say you don't like them.. now green beans you don't have to eat if you don't want to. '. and thank you , i love cooking. its a bit fun. especially when you taste a really good dish that you know you have cooked. '' giving Nuka his fish she went back to the ones that where cooking, checking to make sure they where done before putting them on plates. '' besides, the cats don't complain either. they get free chicken, milk. and fish whenever they want mixed in with their cat food. ''

He smiled at her, before he sat down, and laid his head off to the side, away from her. Slowly, small streams of blonde went back into his jet black hair, one at a time before his entire hair was blonde. He emitted a low growl, before turning and looking at her with his blood red eyes. "You're getting too comfortable, my friend.", he said with an arrogant sneer. "And you... you are causing it.. this happiness... it has to end.", he said, getting up and walking slowly to her.

she was just putting the last of the fish on the plates before she looked up and froze. her eyes trained on him intently. '' nothing wrong with being happy.'' she slid a glance to nuka then back to him. '' don't see why your so against it. '' she really didn't know what to do, she hadn't figured out what triggers the change yet.

He jumped up and landed right in front of her, staring into her eyes. "Happiness gives him more control, and more control means I won't exist anymore!!", he screamed, putting a hand around her neck and gripping it tightly. "So, now you know how to kill me, but oh, there are so many ways to kill you.", he said with a smile. He dug his nails into her neck, gripping harder and harder. With his other hand, he gripped the wound and ripped it back open, letting out a yell. "This should give me more time.", he said, letting her go, and his hair slowly turning back into it's black colour. He fell down on the ground, bleeding profusely, and out cold.

everything happened quickly again , one moment she was pinned under his hands and the next he was laying on the floor, black hair again and bleeding. rubbing her throat she quickly grabbed her kit before rolling him over on his back and scowled. '' damn .. '' muttered, cleaning up the mess his alter ego had created, numbing the area once more and restitching it before wrapping it again with bandages. she had to drag him back to the living room, strip most of his clothing off since they where covered in blood and cleaned him up again before putting a pillow under his head and blanket over him to keep him warm.

Nuka decided to curl up against his head and purr loudly while she went back to cleaning up every bit of the mess to try and make sure he didn't see any of it. once that was done she changed clothing and put the food away in the fridge to keep it fresh before going back over to him and sitting down next to him. waiting for him to wake while she tried to figure out all that she needed to do to keep him happy.

Charlie woke up, instantly hearing Nuka in his ears, purring away. He grabbed the cat, and pet him softly. He looked down and noticed he was back on the couch, and his clothes were different. He sat up, and a jolt of pain ran through his body. He slammed the back of his head against the couch, and let out a yell. He could smell blood and chemicals, and looked around, but everything was fine. He looked at her and saw marks on her neck. "What happened?", he asked, looking at her eyes.

she jumped in surprise from his yell before getting getting up to check on him '' ahh well , lets just say your alter ego got a little mad that you where happy. '' shrugged, reaching over to check his head from when he slammed it on the couch before checking his stomache again .. '' it would seem that the more your happy.. the more control you get on him, which pisses him off. i suppose.. ''

He looked at thw wound. It didn't seem like it would ever heal right now that it had been openned back up. He looked at her neck with a pout. "I am sorry.", he said with a sad sigh. His blue eyes were sad again, and he hung his head down low. His tail wrapped around him again, and his ears were low on his head. "It makes sense, though.. Even if you were well like he is, wouldn't you do anything to continue your existance?", he asked in a soft whisper. "Anything..."

she shrugged slightly as she reached up to lightly pet his ears again to try and cheer him up'' its not your fault hun.. and granted yes.. but technically your not killing him since the both of you share the same body.. he will still be with you , just.. not in any control any more. in order for him to truly be gone, you would have to be gone as well. ''

He looked up at her as she pet his ears. He enjoyed how it felt. "If I took control and never let him out, he wouldn't exist, so I would be techinically killing him...", he said in a soft sigh, reching up towards his ear and grabbing onto her hand softly. "I know I have said it so much already, but I would probably be dead if it wasn't for you."

she looked down at him and smiled softly , feeling his hand on hers she just shrugged before lightly kissing his cheek'' you don't have to keep thanking me.. and i don't see it as you killing him but you locking him up for hopefully a long while. he just won't have control on your body any more. '' she leaned back slightly , watching him curiously '' you don't have to give anything in return for me helping you , i just want you to be happy ok?"

He looked into her eyes, and was surprised that she had kissed him. He looked at her again. He closed his eyes with a sigh. "I've never been kissed before.", he said with a small smile. "Never.", he said, before looking down, still holding her hand. His tail twitched back and forth excitedly as he seemed to think about something, and then he turned to her and kissed her on the lips. "I am happy.", he said with a small smile.

she was surprised he had never been kissed before, apparently not even on the cheek.. '' really? wow thats a bit surprising'' her eyes widened in surprise as he kissed her on the lips. for a few seconds she didn't have anything to say , feeling her cheeks heat up slightly before she gave a small smile'' well, i am glad your happy ,. '' she glanced at his tail which was moving around excitedly, '' oh yea i can tell your happy. so then.. now that your awake . and hopefully feeling a bit better.. how about that lunch? its in the fridge, all we have to do is heat it up. '' she was definitely taken aback by the kiss but had enjoyed it.

He blinked for a moment, before realizing what he just did. He turned very red at the same time she did and scratched the back of his neck nervously before laughing. "I-I'm sorry.", he said, calming down... "I don't know what I was thinking...", he said, his tail acting skittish again. He looked over at Nuka for a moment before looking back at her. "I shouldn't have done that.", he said lightly under his breath. "I don't know what came over me.", he said, looking away.

she watched him before smiling. relaxing almost instantly '' hun its alright. '' she reached over, using her fingers to lightly turn his face to her again '' nothing wrong with kisses hun. and it sure as hell doesn't hurt so no need to apologize. '' she lightly caressed his cheek before leaning forward and gave him a soft kiss on the lips. before giving a light laugh as Nuka pretty much came up and bumped his head against her cheek and then did the same to him. '' alright alright. '' she petted Nuka before giving him a kiss on his nose'' there mister jealous pants. ''

He thought about what he did for a moment, and then realized he hadn't been. He hadn't thought about it all, and just did it. He was very red at this point, and got a few shades redder when she kissed him. It was then that Nuka bopped him in the cheek and went over back to her and she kissed him. He had felt better all of a sudden and was very calm, and very happy. "Fish does sound good.", he said with a smile. He had forgotten about it until now.

she watched as his fade went several different shades red before he calmed down and realized she had asked about his food. smiling she lightly petted nuka before picking him up and took him into the kitchen, '' i will get it ready for you .i don't mean to embarrass you i apologize. '' she set Nuka down on the ground, listening to him purr and meow as he rubbed up against her ankles. she heated up the food before taking a plate to him.

He watched her get the food ready and when she talked about her embarassing him, he slapped himself in the face. "You don't embarass me... I embarass me.", he said, getting up behind her, and looking at the fish. He looked at Nuka who was rubbing against her ankles and reached down to pet him. Charlie's ear twitched for a second, and he looked around the house again. "So you and Nuka are the only ones here?", he asked softly, still breathing in the smell of the fish.

she blinked in surprise before shaking her head'' don't smack yourself. heh , and yes just me and nuka. oh well the occasional random stray cat out the windows. thats about it. why?" she turned to look down at him while nuka was busy getting petted as well as trying to bite her tail that was twitching in front of him.

"This house seems big... too big for only one person and a few cats...", he said softly, looking around. "What do you do with the empty rooms?", he asked, looking again. It was quiet in the house now. "How did you come by this place?", he asked before adding "If you don't mind me asking, that is." His calm blue eyes wandered as he walked around, quickly spotting the restroom, which he hadn't realized he needed to run to. He hadn't since last night. He came back out a few moments later. "This place is very big.", he said softly.

she looked up and smiled'' my parents. and its ok . i don't mind your questions.. and well yes its big but i love it. i am like a cat. i love big area's.. i hate being cooped up and well i use the other rooms as guest rooms if i ever have friends over.. and well Nuka likes to explore the rooms as well. he chases bugs around.''
