Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
So far, the other was holding up, but just that. He wasn't excelling really, but just hanging in there. Why was he taking on this one? The Golem wasn't too bad, if you worked fast enough on him, if you used things with ailments instead of just wacking away. That didn't really work with too many larger creatures that needed to go ASAP. Azlada didn't look like he wanted help. Arxingall looked at his set expression, determined to finish this, and determined not to die. He'd be mad if Arxingall stepped in, which was what he was doing. His excuse, he needed the training too, and coincidentally couldn't find the Golem before. He readied an arrow, or several, as he prepared ice rain. He made sure it didn't touch Azlada.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was sure it was Arxingall now, having seen the colour out of the corner of his eye a couple times as he dodged around the Golem. He couldn't understand why Drocus wanted the horn of it, but there was a huge reward that came with killing this brute. He was going to kill this if it brought him within an inch of his life, although he was chugging down potions repetetively, using his most powerful skill as often as possible. He didn't want Arxingall to step in, but he had a feeling that the other elf might.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Ice rain showered around the two fighting, only hitting the enemy, which was not Azlada this time. The sting wouldn't piercing the solid stone the Golem was made up of, but it would give him the ailment anyway. Creatures had a tendency to attack the one doing the most damage. Arxingall just had to keep it busy so Azlada could place damage to it. If Azlada understood this and didn't try to take the Golem's attention back out of sheer stupidity or whatever he ran on, he could finish the battle more or less unharmed for the rest.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada cursed as he saw the arrows falling upon the Evil Golem, thankfully not touching him. He knew Arxingall was going to be doing more damage than he was, and that the Golem would probably head over to take out the bigger threat, taking away his prey. He was irritated as well as tired now, and he kept up his fighting, trying to win back the creature's attention as he fought. If Arxingall dealt the killing blow, he would lose his right to the reward, and it wouldn't count as anything. He wasn't going to let that happen. That would mean he would have to do this whole thing again.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Twit," Arxingall shot at him, throwing a half dedicated glare. "Are you trying to get yourself killed?" He was going to let Azlada have the killing blow, for whatever reason he was taking this beastie on. He'd reclaim the Golem's attention if he kept this up. Arxingall did a charging attack, dealing Bleed to the rock creature. He needed to keep the Golem's attacks towards him, he wasn't in the best of health right now thanks to the expedition of the Mines, but he would make due with that.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Are YOU trying to get YOURSELF killed!? I'm fine! Give it back!" Azlada shot back, his glare as half-hearted as the other elf's was. He continued to attack the Golem but slowed his attack a bit, understanding more what Arxingall had been trying to do. But why would he try to keep it from hurting him too badly? Maybe the same reason he wanted to make sure it didn't hurt the lavender haired elf too severely. He didn't even know the reasoning behind that, and he didn't know why he had been thinking about him almost non-stop during the time they were apart, and it was slightly bothering him.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Of course not," he replied, "now shut it and wait a moment." He was draining the Golem's remaining health from where Azlada had left it, while Azlada, got more centered attacks in because he wasn't being pelted with mighty fists of granite. Arxingall made sure to at least move around to keep the large, slow moving rockman moving, and to keep the damage minimal if he could. "I can slow it down now if you've got the mana to go all out on him," he said after all of the ailments he could inflict had touched the Golem once more. By letting up on his attacks, the Golem had a chance to injure him quicker, and then would have a chance at harming Azlada. Arxingall would watch out for this, but make sure he wasn't the one who got the last blow.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada rolled his eyes, gulping down a mana potion, that being the only thing he needed at the moment. He could tell that Arxingall was seriously draining this thing's health, but it was still able to do as much damage as it could when he had first attacked the stupid thing. "I'm fine" he replied instantly, not even needing to think about that. It barely had anything left in it, and it would be easy to kill from now on. He used his three most powerful attacks twice each, and the thing was finally dead, falling to peices just as he dropped to the ground, sighing. "Fuck. Stupid motherfucker. Well, at least I got it's horn" he stayed where he was lying down, taking a potion to reverse the last bit of damage it had done to him. "Thanks. Do I get a kiss this time?" he asked, a grin slipping over his features, still not sure why he was persisting with this.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall sat down a little more gracefully than Azlada did, who dropped like a stone -pardon the unintentional pun. He sat still, trying to keep the probably bruised bones from moving too much. He needed another potion, and was glad he'd saved some from the Mine. He took it with a shaking hand, for whatever reasons it was shaking, it had to do with the nerves. The Golem hadn't hit him that hard, it shouldn't be shaking. Maybe it was the anticipation of the question he'd thought to hear again. He could decide if Azlada was being serious or not. And just as the thought crossed his mind, he heard it verbally. He thought about it this time instead of running. "Why would you want one?" he asked, finishing the potion slowly, letting himself feel being healed instead of the usual hurry up and get it over with.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada crossed his hands behind his head, not caring that his metal gauntlets weren't the most comfortable things to lie his head on. He waited for Arxingall's response, glad that he wasn't running away this time. That had been a bit unexpected. "I'll let you know when I figure that out" he said, frowning slightly. He still couldn't figure that out, but he figured he would soon, if it kept on his mind like this. It was dangerous to have something distracting you like that while fighting.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"You do that, then," Arxingall responded, sighing. Did he want to kiss Azlada? Why? Was there a point? Maybe not, but he had the urge to. Last person he kissed? Well, not of his own accord. More like a kiss had been stolen from him. A girl had stolen a kiss once, because she'd been trying to get his attention and he had refused to get it. Apparently seduction these days was the best way to go when words didn't work. He didn't care for the kiss then, but at the time he'd been thinking how pointless it had been to him. Azlada? Had he ever wanted to kiss someone before?
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada sighed as well, closing his eyes for a moment. Arxingall didn't sound as snappy and taunting as he did when he had first met him. He seemed to be getting progressively better with that. Did that mean something? He was hoping it did. He wasn't sure why he hoped it, but he did anyways. If there was anything else he wanted at the moment, he was sure it was nothing than the desire to have Arxingall kiss him, and that itself was irritating, just because of who it was. He was supposed to hate the other elf, wasn't he? There had been one or two other people he had wanted to kiss, but that was more experimenting, and he hadn't even really known the people.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"You finished another quest then, hm? How many do you do usually?" Arxingall did them when they weren't completely out of the way, he as more of a training man himself. Training was a good way to get things done, and to assure he could stand up to one thing or another. Training was the only way to grow and to survive. Missions, quests from the people here, sure, they helped when money was needed, training came with them sometimes too, but training was the only real way, in his opinion, that made you durable for everything else you were up against.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada nodded, sitting up again. "As many as I can. Normally the ones that make me kill masses of monsters, because I get training in, and normally a huge reward" he explained, looking forward to this reward. He was going to report back to Drocus, and then buy the new armor and sword he was there for in the first place. "Only thing that bothers me is the million other people trying to do the same thing and getting in the way" he sighed, unable to count the number of people who had stolen what he was trying to kill, Arxingall included.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Knowing Arxingall was being included in the numbers who had jumped in to his fights, but hadn't been aiming for the quest item, Arxingall just shrugged. That happened every now and then with him. Sometimes he was the one jumping in to fights that someone had going, just because they had been newbies, and they were being owned multiple time. They sometimes got mad at him, sometimes they thanked him. He blamed his protective nature, even though he didn't look like he liked other people, he had an instinct to jump in to help when someone was losing their battle.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada sighed, shaking his head. He got to his feet and stretched, turning to Arxingall for a moment. "Well I'm heading back to talk to Drocus. . . I'll see you later, unless you're coming this way?" he raised an eyebrow, half hoping he would, just to have some company. For some reason, he always looked forward to his next meeting with Arxingall. He assumed it was because he was fun to argue with, and kept his mind occupied, and refused to think of any other reason.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Ah, I'm going that way too. Drocus requested extermination of fifty Shadow Fangs. I finished that request, and may take it again." Later, that is. Shadow Fangs took loads of patience and bravery, and potions. The Mines required people to take a break from it, to see the sun light and the monsters that didn't take forever and almost your life to kill it. He stood as well, twisting his waist to pop his vertebrae a bit. His shoulders rolled so he could take the knot out of them. "There aren't many missions here for me to do. I take what I can when I can," he said. The last time he had worked here for consecutive missions? A while ago. A long while ago. The newbies took all the missions.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada's eyes widened a fraction when he said he had taken on that many Shadow Fangs. "Holy crap. I killed one of those once, and almost died. The mines creep me out way too much though" he shuddered. He had only been in there alone once before, and it had scared the crap out of him. And fighters weren't supposed to get scared. He was only scared of a few things, at least. "Yeah. I get most of my quests in Moon Blind Swamp. Everywhere else is normally almost impossible to get a quest" he sighed, tossing his hair back and starting forward, across the uneven terrain.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I've been there a few times on various requests to get things. A man in Zakandia outpost told me to get him skeleton's picks, and instead of picks, they actually used hoes. He took the items anyway," Arxingall said, having been extremely confused when he'd done that mission. He didn't know why the man had said picks. The skeletons had never used picks before. He asked people for that mission all the time, and all the time he got hoes, and never said anything to other people about the mistake in tools they carry. He followed Azlada across the land, heading to where people gathered for all the different shops in the area.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada raised an eyebrow at whoever's stupidity this was. "Wow. That's kind of sad. People really can be just plain stupid sometimes" he sighed, not counting himself as one of those people. He preferred to just say he was stubborn. There was a difference, sometimes. He didn't like to think about himself as stupid, even though he did have his fair share of blonde moments. He made his way all the way back and entered the little town-like area, heading straight over to Drocus. He gave over the horn and grinned as he recieved his reward. "Awesome" he sighed happily, before starting to strip off his armor again, intending to sell it and get a new set. It was about time for that.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall just nodded to Azlada's words. He was listening, but he wasn't really absorbing what he was saying, just listening to the sound of his voice. He approached Drocus after Azlada was finished, reporting his quest in and getting his reward. He'd store it away so his sibling and family wouldn't drain the storage dry. When he finished, he turned to see Azlada stripping down in public yet again. This time, he wasn't worried about decency towards females. He coughed as he was caught off guard, he turned around and resisted taking a glance at the blonde elf removing his garb yet again.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada glanced up when the other elf turned around, seeming to be caught off guard. He smirked slightly and continued to remove his armor, dragging it back to Drocus to sell it to him. He stood in his green boxers, perfectly fine with being almost naked in public. As he had explained to Arxingall before, he didn't really care what other people thought. But for some reason, he wanted to know what the lavender haired elf thought. He sold the old armor and bought a new set, not wanting to put it on right away, but he didn't really have an excuse not to.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was taking too long to get new armor and get dressed. Maybe he wanted Arxingall to see him like that? No, that was a ridiculous idea, why would he want that? Why would Arxingall want him to be thinking that so he could think so too? Azlada brought too many questions to mind, and all of them were so unfamiliar to him, he wasn't used to it. He needed to occupy himself, then he wouldn't have his mind on the nearly naked Azlada before him. He walked past him, trying to keep from seeing the blonde in his peripheral vision. It was hard not to, he could see the well developed muscles of the other male, the mostly hairless looking body he had. Blondes at least couldn't see some of their body hair. Arxingall's being an odd purple, was visible, but didn't show up much. He didn't have much hair anywhere else. Still, light purple hair patches did strike him as odd. Not that most Lunarian's had normal hair. He supposed they all just got used to seeing purple, or green, or blue hair around.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada sorted through his things before he got dressed, just for something to prolong his naked-ness. He glanced up as Arxingall walked past him, apparently doing a bad job of trying to ignore him. He felt the corners of his mouth raise a bit before he started putting his new armor, making sure it fit properly. Once he had it all adjusted he smiled, looking down at it. It looked pretty awesome, with the silver and red, and awesome patterns on part of it. He headed over to where Levert was next, needing a new sword. He sold his old one and bought a nicer one quickly, not needing much time with that. He flew over to Arxingall, holding his sword in one hand. "Hey Arx~, like my sword?" he asked, meaning the sexual innuendo fully.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Looking over to Azlada calling him, telling him to look at the new weapon he'd bought. Or at least, that's what Arxingall thought after a first thought. Clearing his throat, taking a deep breath as he turned around to find the elf fully dressing in colors that fitted well with him. A new weapon in his hands that he held up proudly. "Er, it's decent," he replied, trying to steady his voice as he forced images out of his mind. These images made him wonder what he was now. He never thought about the other gender, and Azlada was the only one who had made him think about his own gender. His sister called him asexual just because she had a boyfriend once in a while.
