Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada watched wearily as Arxingall came closer, and he bent his head forward, away from his wings. He tensed slightly when he felt the other elf's hands on his wings, but he relaxed those, knowing it would hurt more if he didn't. He winced slightly when he heard the snapping of the arrow, and then one was gone, then the next few. He stretched his wings a bit once they were gone. "Thanks" he muttered, turning his head away. For some reason, he was reluctant to have those warm hands leave, but soon enough they were gone anyways. He turned around and stopped. "Yeah" he said a bit slowly, reaching out to touch the wing, feeling weird having contact like this. He hated to admit it, but he was sure he was blushing for the first time in what seemed like forever. He copied the technique that Arxingall had used on the arrows, not having ever thought of that. He got rid of the few arrows and dropped his hands, turning his face away, feeling awkward. "There. Done" he said, biting his lip and purposely looking away.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall was somewhat amazed that he hadn't been caused excessive pain from the other elf who was generally pretty aggressive and in a rush with everything. "Thanks," he said, his wings still tingling from the blonde's touch. Who knew physical contact left him feeling like he was still being touched? Did everyone do that? Not the merchants when they exchanged money and items. Not his sister, who would slug him in the arm for something stupid. Just Azlada? When was the last time he'd made physical contact with another fighter? Another elf fighter? Couldn't have been that long ago. He didn't remember feeling this way after it though, it had to be long ago if he didn't remember it. He pulled a potion from his bag, downing it to replenish his energy and heal his wounds. He felt refreshed, whether it was from the potion or Azlada having touched him.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was already downing a potion when Arxingall thanked him. The word made him smile slightly, but he forced it down, scowling at the ground. He couldn't understand his behavoir. He was ashamed of himself. He was pretty sure that Arxingall was somebody he didn't particularily like, but these past few days he was starting to think about that. He didn't want to think about the possibility that he liked him, even if it was seeming likely. He didn't want to think about that. He had had crushes before, but they didn't feel like this, he didn't think. He turned his back on the other elf and headed back towards the orcs, needing to take his mind off this whole situation.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
The other elf was a fighter, Arx had to give him that. He had a single potion before returning to battle. Arxingall had been contemplating a second one, but instead decided to save his supplies for another time he'd need it more, and sat a moment while he waited for his energy to restore. After he was close to feeling well enough, he got up and walked back to the orcs, taking the ones out near his sides so they couldn't decide to shoot at him with his back turned to them. He kept some of the ones who would notice Azlada without the blonde noticing. His excuse? The excuse he usually had for doing something? He didn't have one this time. He was rather baffled that he had no excuse to reason why he was watching out for the other one.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was right back in the fight, yelling the occasional curse to the orcs, who were really a oain in the ass. They could do quite a bit of damage to him, which he hated. He was aware of Arxingall joining him again, probably having the same quest as he did. He was going to have to take frequent potions and breaks if he was going to keep doing this. He found himself periodically checking to make sure the other elf was okay, but he hoped that Arxingall didn't notice. He wouldn't be able to explain if he was asked to.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
How many were left? How many did he have left? Arxingall kept repeating the same questions in his head every few orcs killed. He was doing pretty well with Az at his back, though they weren't working together. They each kept a handful of orcs distracted, and maintained the population of them for a bit so they weren't overwhelmed with them. Ice rain got rid of the ones that did manage to group up on him. No doubt Azlada resorted to group attacks when he was surrounded and needed to be rid of them quick. They built up like bacteria. It started with one and spread as the other orcs around noticed the fighting.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was chugging down potions like drugs, using one every time there was a chance he was getting too much damage, which he normally was. Stupid long range fighters. It had to be so much more convenient. He wished at times like these that he had a bow he could use well enough. "Supid" he slashed out at an orc, "Mother" another blow, "fucking" each word punctuated by a quick jab or slice of his sword. "ORCS. DIE BITCHES!" this last part was used as a sort of battle cry as he got frustrated, lashing out with his anger.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Roll of the eyes when he heard the anger in Azlada's voice, and he had actually expected it to happen sooner. Guess not. Maybe he had a little more control when monsters were involved, and not equally stubborn elves. Didn't matter. Either way, it wasn't a good thing to use anger as fuel. Loss on control, such as. Arxingall would have to take Azlada's share of the beasts too if he lost all of his mana. You didn't win on just physical attacks with these things.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was used to being in fits of anger while he fought, so screaming at the orcs was no different. He had potions ready to be chugged down, and he knew he was going to have to restock when he was finally done. He growled slightly as more arrows hit at his wings, something he couldn't exactly avoid as a fighter. But he bore through it, just using more potions and perservering. When he thought he needed a break, he would stop for a bit, but he was sure he could hold on for a bit longer.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Was that healthy? The calmer of the elves thought as he checked up on Azlada again. Taking down potions quickly as he was shot by numerous archers. He had stamina and maybe courage, he'd give him that much. Courage though, did not make up for the lack of intelligence going on over there. The orcs combined probably had more intelligence than Azlada had at the moment. Drawing a bow did take a bit of smarts, for monsters anyway. The bright sight of not using a bow with real arrows was there was that the arm guards were almost unnecessary.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was sure he had caught Arxingall checking on him a few times, but that was the farthest thing from his mind as he fought. He was often told by his sister that he needed to calm down while he fought, and he had had other people telling him that he needed to keep his testostrone levels down, guy or not. He was breathing heavily now, and he took one last potion before killing the nearest orc and heading back to the entrance, needing to sit down. He figured Arxingall was older than him by a year or so, so he would be able to fight a bit longer, but maybe not by much. He didn't know.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Being perhaps the smartest in the field they fought in, disregarding the other fighters he didn't know that were a few yards or so away, Arxingall had conserved his strength, and took orcs out before they got too close to build up. He saw Azlada head out, tired, finally. He had a lot of energy for the way he fought, Arxingall was mildly impressed, he supposed. He wanted to get to a solid number before taking a breather. He took the orcs out in about three regular mana shots no problem. His double shot could bring them down in one go sometimes.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada managed to get a hold of one of the arrows in his wings, snapping it in half and pulling the two pieces out, dropping them on the ground. He frowned slightly, not liking that he was thinking about how much nicer Arxingall's hands felt on his wings. And he had been much gentler than that. Being a fighter, he wasn't exactly used to being gentle with things like that. He gave up after trying to get the others out, figuring he would do it later. He had gone a whole day with arrows in his wings once.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Five more and Arxingall was satisfied with how many he had killed so far. Maybe twenty more and he'd take a break with the quests for the day. The ones that required killing fifty of a species took a while, and a lot of patience. Potions were required in that too, which took a decent amount of money. Arxingall stored his money away at the storage, but recently his sister and cousin had been taking a lot out of it for whatever reasons they deemed necessary. He had to rebuild it back up now, which would take some time if they kept taking money. He returned to where he and Azlada had been. There were arrows he needed to take out again. On his way back, he snapped one or two out, keeping his eye on the surroundings as well. Azlada seemed to be resting now. He'd probably get up and go train as soon as Aringally went to sit.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada saw the other elf coming down the path, apparently headed for a break. He could see him taking out an arrow, and figured there were more. Stupid orc archers didn't know when to stop. Aiming for the wings was a cheap shot, or so he thought. He would have loved to just fall back and lie down for a few minutes, but that wouldn't turn out well until he got the arrows out. As much as he hated asking for help, especially from Arxingall, he wanted to feel those hands on his wings again, and wrong as that sounded in his mind.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall looked to the elf who he had expected to bolt by now. Arrows in his wings again, typical of them both to get more arrows stuck. Well, another favor swapped, no big deal. "You need more pulled out, hm?" he asked, looking at the arrows he had managed to remove already. He wasn't sure who had more. Arxingall, for staying longer, or Azlada, for being more careless. "Turn around," he said, his wings twitching eagerly to get the favor returned. He chided himself for wanting another bout of tingling to come from the touch of Azlada.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada bit his lip lightly when the other elf asked the rhetorical question. He hesitantly turned his back towards the other elf, grey eyes on the ground. As much as he wanted Arxingall to pull them out, he was slightly embarassed, for reasons unknown to him. He was hating how confused one person was making him, which he hadn't gone through before. It was normally pretty simple for him, either you liked someone, you loved someone, you were okay with someone, or you hated someone.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Kneeling down wearily, Arxingall did the same thing he'd done before to pull out the wooden arrows protruding from the feathery soft wings of the other elf. He was being quiet for once, maybe he was too annoyed for words. Not that Arxingall particularly cared. His hands lingered on the wings of him a little longer than he'd intended. "I'm finished," he said, turning around after to hide the light red house to his face. "I think I have a little more than last time." He wasn't usually careless like that, but Azlada had been a distraction of sort.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was slightly tense, anticipating the feeling of those fingers on his wings. He winced slightly as the arrows were removed, again surprised with how gentle Arxingalls fingers were compared to his own. He suppressed a shudder when the other elf's hands lingered longer than they should have, and he felt the colour creeping up his cheeks. He nodded and turned himself around, facing Arxingall's back. "Really now. What, you wanted me to touch you for longer?" he asked, unable to resist saying something as he removed the arrows, trying to be careful. There were indeed more than normal, but he took them out easily enough, touching the soft wings more than he knew he had to for the task at hand. Finished, he let go and got to his feet. "All done" he said simply, running a hand through his hair and trying to hold back the colour in his face again.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Err...wh-at?" Arxingall asked, faltering in mid word. "Don't be ridiculous." He left it at that. He could bring a taunt, if he could think of one that would work. The thought that he'd purposely get more arrows where he couldn't reach was a ridiculous thought. Every fighter who could use them tried avoiding arrows to the wings. When they had puncture wounds and cuts, they didn't carry them so well. A retort to wanting him to touch him longer, well, that was an odd thing to snap back at. It was unintentional, but Azlada's touch, cool but comforting, calluses hands from wielding a sword for however long he'd been fighting. Every warrior hand them on their palms, and every archer had them on a palm, or both if they were ambidextrous, and their finger tips. They couldn't feel much with their finger tips after all the string use. When the task was finished, he pulled out a mana bottle and a health bottle, downing both. He wanted to sit here, maybe with Azlada, just to rest for a while.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada couldn't help but smirk slightly at the retort he got, finding some pleasure in the fact that he didn't snap back as much as he normally did. "I'm not being ridiculous. You know I'm right" he was having fun with this, but he was going to drop it, after one last comment. He put on a rather innocent expression, holding his hands behind his back. "Do I get a thank-you kiss?" he asked, looking down at Arxingall with a hint of a smile on his face. He had no idea what had prompted him to say that, but he didn't regret it, because he was most likely going to get a funny reaction.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall was rather caught off guard when Azlada asked him for a return present. He stood quickly, one of the quickest reactions someone had gotten out of him for a while. "Don't mess around," he retorted somewhat nervously, in a few ways shocked he'd jumped up so quickly. He backed up, now too uncomfortable to just sit there. "I'm heading back to the Forest." Though he didn't want to deal with Dina right now. He had been having a somewhat okay time with Azlada helping him with his wings. He'd been liking helping out Azlada too. "Thanks again. I'll...more than likely see you around." Seeing how they'd met up a bit already, chances were they'd do it again. He left for the portal, flustered and thinking about the question that had been thrown at him. Normally, he'd brush it off. Azlada had made him bolt.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada grinned when he saw how much he had surprised the lavender haired elf. He hadn't expected to get that kind of reaction, but he liked it. He would have expected to get a retort thrown back in his face, but instead, Arxingall seemed almost, nervous? "Alright. See you" he smirked slightly, watching him go before turning back to the orcs, turning his own self confusion into rage as he finished up his quest.
Zakandia was only worth visits to get new armor and weapons. Azlada had stopped to take one of the quests while he was there, taking care of the Evil Golem. He had never actually gone after it before, and it was proving to be difficult. He chugged down potions quickly, attacking the massive thing with all his might, not sure whether he was going to make it or not. But he wasn't going to give up or something.

Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
The only reason he visited Zakandia these days were for the market running here, and for the Haunted Mine. He had gotten in a long, depressing fight with Shadow Fangs. The cave was filled to the brim with dreadful monsters, they could easily overwhelm him. Zakandia itself didn't have too much of a beast problem, but the Haunted Mine needed clearing out sometimes, and it was very rough work. He needed high amounts of potions, and long resting times. The monsters at the entrance could take him down if he didn't use everything he had quickly. Shadow Fangs were so much worse, far in, and on the second floor. As he exited the dank mines, he found himself facing the one fighter he had expected to see some time this week or the next. The warrior was confronting a monster thrice his size, and four times his mass. He didn't seem to be faring too great, so far. Arxingall would step in in about a minute if he couldn't keep going.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada downed yet another hp potion, not worried about his mana as much. He didn't use much as a warrior, even using his skills. He had a high pain tolerance, but this stupid thing was taking chunks off of his health. He caught a flash of lavender in the corner of his eye, his mind instantly relating it to Arxingall's hair, which it just might be, but he didn't stop to look. If he stopped now, it would mean almost instant death. He had taken down about a quarter of the stupid thing's health, which wasn't much compared what he could do to others.
