Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Hey, you need to get somewhere not so cold," Arxingall told him, hugging him closer. "Even if you're not going to sick, you need to get out of the cold." Where could they go? There were buildings off to the side they could go to. Arxingall hadn't been in them before, he hadn't needed to be in there. Isolde rented some out sometimes, it wasn't pricey, not usually. Depending on who the people were, how they might look or behave. Isolde fluctuated with the prices depending on who was around.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada smiled slightly, secretly enjoying the fact that Arxingall cared. "I'm fine. I've had worse" he insisted, shaking his head. He had no idea what else there would be to go, that didn't include going through the rain for something. Even if it was just to the nearby buildings. His hair would end up being wet, and that was just unpleasant for him. They had gotten under the tent fast enough when it started to rain that his hair was only slightly damp, but it was raining much harder now.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Come on, Isolde will rent us out a room, see, over there," he pointed. The pink dressed elf was making purchases for those who didn't like the cold. Some paid more than others, they didn't seem to mind too much. They just wanted out of the rain until it stopped, whenever that would be. "I'll even go over there and request one so you don't have to wait in the rain half naked while I bargain." She didn't usually charge over 1,000 gold for two people, something like 200 per person.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"But. . ." Azlada looked up, eyebrows furrowing. "That costs money" he frowned. He didn't need Arxingall to spend money on a room just because he was cold. He would be fine, as tempting as a room sounded. "I'll pay" he decided, lifting his chin and pulling away a bit to look the lavender haired elf in the eye. That solved the problem for him. He had plenty of money to be spending, as long as he didn't waste it on stupid things, that he used to when he was younger. Just because something looked cool, didn't mean he had to buy it, he had discovered recently.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Nah, no good. I don't think Isolde takes money from half naked men," Arxingall said, on the fine line of joking and being serious. He let go of Az, giving him a small smile. "It'll take a second, gather your stuff." He looked out to the rain, a steady pour of it would surely drench him if he waited long enough. He just had to run out, ask Isolde for a room for maybe the night, and then call Az over. Water would for the most part take a bit to soak through the leather and then his shirt underneath. The leather would take quite a bit of time to dry though. He jogged out, catching Isolde just as her last-in-line group left for the buildings. "Room for two, maybe just for the night," he asked, grabbing money out of his bag. She looked to him and Az, recognizing them as the entertaining two. She allowed them a room for 150 gold pieces each. Arxingall waved Az over, his hair had to be raked out of his face due to the wetness sticking to him.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada pouted, sure that anybody would take money from him half naked, but he didn't argue. "Okaaaay" he sighed, shoving his armor in his bag once Arxingall let him go. He made his way through the people to get to the edge of the tent, shivering slightly as he waited for Arx to get a room, if he could. He had his arms crossed over his chest, hoping to hold in some warmth. He smiled slightly when he was motioned to, but the smile fell once he glanced up at the sky, watching the rain fall. He sighed before looking forward again, taking a breath before dashing forwards, letting out a squeal as the cold rain drenched him instantly. He ran towards Arxingall, holding his hands over his head now, not that that did anything.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall met him half way, putting wet hands on the wet back of the blonde. He led him into the building that had others walking around it, looking for whatever. Rooms were just grab-able, people took whatever room had enough beds. He supposed they should be looking for a two bed, but those, in times like this, were not common enough. "We need to get you dry," he said, though he was maybe just as wet. He looked around for rooms not occupied by people, he knocked on a few closed ones checking if they were filled. Isolde didn't just take money and leave them to find space, she knew how many rooms there were. There had to be some left, other wise she would have told them a different building, or not accepted money. A door at the end of one of the halls was open, and untouched, as it appeared. No one gave it a second glance, and Arxingall found why. A single large bed in the far corner, letting it click why it was so far down the hall.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada dashed into the building he was led to, glancing into rooms as he walked by, not really caring what the room the got looked like, as long as it had a bed of some sort, and he could be dry. "You're just as wet as I am" he pointed out, frowning slightly. He generally didn't like people making such a big deal over him, not used to it at all. It also made him feel weak, which was something he didn't like at all. But for some reason, with Arxingall it didn't bother him as much as it normally did. He followed to the room at the end of the hall, walking in without a second glance, sighing and walking to the bed, flopping down at the foot of it, so he didn't get the entire thing wet.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
With Azlada resigning to taking the remaining room with the single bed, he stripped off his now somewhat heavy leather armor coat. His lower garb wasn't quite as soaked but still needed to be removed. He didn't mind walking in his underclothes for a bit. They were damp at worst. The leather armor had thankfully absorbed a lot of the water. He needed to hang the leather somewhere, he looked around, deciding on a beaten wooden trunk against the wall for long term stays. Everything leather, top, 'skirt,' and boots, were rested against the wooden trunk. He hoped Az didn't mind. The other fighter was, then again, already half naked. "It's warmer in here, that's for sure," he commented. No wind, and enough people in the building to keep the building sufficiently warm.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Hearing Arxingall taking off his clothing, Azlada shimmied his pants down and kicked them to the floor, hearing a wet thwop sound as they hit the floor. Not wearing a shirt or anything, they had gotten rather wet. This left him in just his boxers, which didn't bother him. Arx had seen him in just his boxers even before they had touched in any kind other than battle. "Mhmm. I can say, I much prefer heat, unless it's like the mines or Moon Blind. That's just overdoing it" he sighed, running a hand through his wet hair, lying at the foot of the bed. He looked up to see the lavender haired elf down to his underwear, his gaze sweeping over him slowly, grinning slightly.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall felt the scrutiny of Azlada's gaze on him. He flushed just a bit, instinctively turning his body away. He didn't really mind Az looking at him that way, but he felt it was natural to hide himself. The last time he had been undressed in front of someone? Not even his sister, if he recalled correctly. There wasn't a point in disrobing in front of people he didn't know, or even with his family. "May want to hang those pants up," he said, "it'll take thrice the time to dry them if you leave them like that." He would bet Azlada just normally ran pant-less, the article stuffed in his bag or something, wet, just to avoid moving in wet, stiff clothes.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada laughed lightly when he saw the flush, and Arxingall turned away from him. The other elf had so much less muscle tone than him, being an archer, but the effect was pleasing the the eye. He looked down at his pants lying on the floor and sighed, knowing what he said was the truth. "Alright, good point" he stretched, getting to his feet and picking up his wet pants, laying them out beside Arxingall's clothes. His armor being metal didn't need to dry, so they were fine in his bag. "It's been so long since I've been in an actual building" he said, glancing around the room, finding it perfectly natural to be wearing just his boxers.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I don't think I've been in these before to rent. I've been with groups that wanted to be here, but I'd leave early." All in all, from what he could tell, it wasn't a horrible place to be. It could be worse. Most areas to his knowledge didn't have places that could be stayed in when someone didn't want to camp it out and tough the rain or something. A lot of people just headed for the nearest camp site and asked to stay in tents. Some had scrolls to Zakandia or Alker for a place to crash. Arxingall hadn't had a thought to that, since he wouldn't be around enough to use it effectively. Fighters didn't settle down early, fighting was all they could do until something forcibly stopped them.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada walked back to the bed, climbing on and instantly stretching out. It was so comfortable, compared to the ground he slept on every night, wearing his stupid armor. Almost naked, lying on an actual matress, in an actual building, was like bliss. "Yeah. Stupid stalker girls tried to get me in here a few times" he wrinkled his nose, scared at even the suggestion of them getting him in a room with a bed. "I wish I'd come here earlier even on my own. Nicer than I thought it'd be" looking up at a ceiling was something he hadn'e experianced in a while either.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"The outside isn't too fancy, perhaps to keep people from enjoying the luxury often?" Arxingall pondered. He could see Isolde wanted to lure people away from roughing it. Roughing it outside was important to building strength and stamina and such. "But yes, definitely nicer than it appeared so." Az looked comfortable, and Arx wanted nothing more than to join him. Being somewhat of a prude, he was refraining from doing so. With nothing more to do, he would wind up standing there the entire time staring at maybe Az.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Mhmm. I can't remember the last time I slept in a bed" Azlada stretched his arms out and crossed them behind his head, looking over to the archer. He was still cold, even being inside, mainly because his hair and boxers were wet. He wanted Arxingall to come join him, to at least give him some more body heat. "Are you just going to stand there? I don't bite you know" he said, hoping to make it seem like he didn't care as much as he did. He was really going to have to get used to this whole showing your emotions thing.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Arxingall gave a small laugh as he did as he was told. "I had been planning on standing there, actually," he said sarcastically. Well, he kind of had been, but the blonde didn't need to know he had some social awkwardness in him that he hadn't wanted to approach the bed unless he was told to. He worked well with orders, though he didn't always like getting them. He wasn't sure if all people just worked better when they had guidelines set in front of them of what to do or how to do it, but it was the way he worked with tasks and options involving people.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Well I'm sure that would have been a lot of fun, but you know the bed was tempting" Azlada moved his hands from behind his bed, running one through his damp hair. He sighed and pulled the leather tie out, tossing it on the floor somewhere. He knew his long hair would dry faster if it wasn't tied up. He was rather glad Arxingall had offered to get a room for them, and he made a note to himself to stay here more often. If he was ever in the area. He only generally came there for the Mines, and to buy new armor and weapons.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
The bed was only tempting with Az on it, Arxingall corrected, otherwise beds were too confined for him. He liked beds and all, it was nicer than sleeping on rocky, uneven ground all the time, but they just felt so vulnerable, you'd have to get up, roll out of the bed, and grab a weapon just to get ready in case of an ambush of some sort. Isolde kicked out rough housers anyway, but that wasn't his point. He approached the bed, awkwardly climbing on, raking fingers through his hair. It would take a bit to dry, maybe an hour.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada laughed slightly as the other elf climbed onto the bed, looking a bit lost. "I lied. I do bite a little bit" he admitted, brushing some of his bangs back. "I'll try to restrain myself though. Promise" he kept his face straight, pulling up the most innocent look he could come up with. He was getting more comfortable with Arxingall already, simply being around him. But he knew the physical part wouldn't be easy for a while yet.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"You've got a lying streak going, keep it up," the purple haired elf told him, referring to his hands having been cold. "What kind of biting do you do?" he asked him with a raised eyebrow. He wasn't one to be perverse, but being with Az like this was quite the promising offer for him. Maybe it was his late interests finally kicking in now that he had someone he had desire in. "You look like you're trying too hard right now." Though he wasn't the one to say that, he was uptight about a lot of things.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada let a grin cross his face, a bit surprised by the question. "Any kind you like" he shrugged, easily slipping into the kind of things he said as jokes most of the time. He rarely meant it when he said something dirty to somebody, but he was finding that most of the things he said to Arx, he meant. He stuck his tongue out at him when he was told that he was trying too hard. He crossed his arms, pouting slightly, shooting the archer a mock glare.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Hm," Arx smiled slightly, "you pout and cross your arms when someone insults you." That wasn't that intimidating, especially not with the sword in his hands. They were more afraid of him carrying out his promise to cut them than they were of him. He had a face that screamed to them that he was being serious but wasn't very good at looking it. He looked like a petulant child, a brat, if you will. Or that's what he would have been calling him a few days ago.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Only to you" Azlada grinned slightly. "Anybody else would get much more severe consiquences than a pout. Violence is always the answer" he closed his eyes, grinning widely. He had his arms crossed still, the position always comfortable for him when he wasn't wearing his armor. When he was, the metal got in the way and it didn't exactly feel like anything, comfortable or uncomfortable. Another reason he liked to take off his armor and go commando.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Didn't I tell you before violence is not the answer?" He had gone into good detail as to why it was not the answer, then to what could be done to correct it. It seemed as though the blonde had forgotten that conversation already. Arxingall uncrossed Az's arms for him, gently taking the arms and moving them away from each other. "Pouting is cute, yes, but it may be a tad cuter if you sit as though you're enjoying yourself." His hidden sexuality was hitting him faster than he knew he'd be hit. Luna wanted to make him catch up quickly, as it appeared.
