Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada looked up to Arxingall's eyes when he spoke, and he could almost feel his blush darken, which he cursed a million different ways in his head. "Yeah well you don't seem too keen on me dying either" he grumbled, letting his head fall forward to rest on the hard leather armor in front of him. He wanted to know what Arxingall looked like under all the leather. And what he felt like. The archer had seen him almost naked twice now, and he was now seeing this as unfair, not that he was planning on voicing that.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Resting his head lightly on the head laying on him, Arxingall sighed through his nose. "Yeah, I don't think I'd like it very much if you died." He looked forward to every time he might meet the other next. He looked forward to going to new areas or lingering in others to hopefully meet up with him again, just to glimpse him. Sometimes he'd see other fighters, a hint of blonde, or grey eyes, and he'd think automatically it might be his blonde right around the hill, but then he'd see otherwise, or hear otherwise. The voices shouting or cursing didn't sound like Azlada.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada couldn't help but smile slightly when he felt the head rest on top of his, and he was slightly thankful that Arxingall couldn't see the twitching up of his lips. Both of his hands moved to rest on the archer's shoulders, and he leaned into the other elf unconciously. His words made his heart clench for a moment in happiness, just liking to hear Arxingall admit it. He was silent for a moment before taking a breath. "So. . . now what?" he asked, almost afraid for the words to come out, but then they were gone and there was no taking them back.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
In the silence, the lavender haired elf had time to think. Touching, holding, kissing Azlada, was what he had been doing, was what he was doing. He wanted more of it in the future, if it kept going like this, he didn't think a meeting once or twice every week or so would be enough for him. He might actually start searching out for him, he might actually spend time that would usually be spent monotonously training, searching for Az. "Now what?" he asked, shifting his head and pressing skin to skin. Sensitive skin touching warm flesh of another, making him shiver and want more skin revealed. More skin to explore. "Now, I suppose you've distracted me from going to the second floor," he admitted, and didn't think he'd be going up, at least not today.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada shuddered lightly when he felt warm skin pressed against his own, and he wished for more. He wanted to be closer to Arxingall without his stupid bulky metal armor in the way. He sighed when his question was answered. "So I have. I'm good at distracting people. Normally it's by yelling at them though" he gave a small shrug. "But that wasn't what I meant. I meant what now, with us. What the hell are we doing? I don't know what shit we're playing around with, and I'm confused as fuck" he was tempted to smack his forehead off the hard leather in front of him, but he didn't want to disturb the position they had very much.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Just as he had been wondering, what were they doing? They weren't together, that wasn't it. But their actions represented those of partners, those with a relationship. They weren't partners, and they didn't have a relationship. They barely knew each other except for the times they saw each other. "I don't know what we're doing. I don't know what we are, or what we'll become, if it comes to that." And he believed by Luna's will, that it would. "Neither of us knows what we're doing, and..." he hesitated. "If we both want to keep going, how will we know what to do next...?" He didn't know if Azlada wanted the same thing he wanted, which was to go on, though he didn't know how or why.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada sighed when he found that Arxingall was as lost as he was. "Well. . . I don't want to stop" he mumbled into the archer's armor, still embarassed to be saying this kind of thing. He had thought Arxingall was attractive since he met him, whether or not he had known it at the time, or really cared about it. But this was playing with more than image. "We can make things up?" he suggested, glancing up at Arxingall from his spot against the other's chest, hoping to get enough excuses up to keep them from pretending this didn't happen. He thought it was clear that they liked each other, and they could probably figure out what to do after they were more comfortable around each other.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I...don't think I want to stop, either," Arxingall replied, bringing a hand up to brush away some of the blonde bangs that hung around Azlada's face. For every time they met after an encounter like this, would they go on pretending they hadn't thought of each other while they were apart? Would thy pretend it hadn't happened a previous encounter ago? "We'd have to make things up as we went along. If neither knows how to approach the situation, then that's all we can do." Only if he wanted to though. Arxingall only felt that he wanted to be close to this other, to protect him from things that could harm him. He didn't know why, but it was an urge he couldn't ignore.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada felt his heart skip slightly when he heard what Arxingall said, along with the brushing away of his bangs. He didn't want to go back to the stage where they were reluctant to look at each other unless it was a glare. He didn't think he could deal with it if Arxingall started glaring at him, unless he deserved it. "Well, other people make things up as they go too. People are together all the time, and they know exactly what they're doing" he pointed out. It was more human nature for most people how to do things like that. Relationships of any kind were programmed into people almost.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Relationships are about teamwork, which is why their other half is called partner. If you want to be partners, we'll be working together to accomplish the goal that is a relationship," Arxingall told him, "and we probably each already know a thing or two from observation." Each relationship had a leader, no matter how much it looked even, a leader had to start something and end something. He couldn't tell much from their previous actions who was leader. Both had initiated a kiss once, so if they kept going, they'd be able to tell who lead them.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the analogy, biting back a laugh. This wasn't supposed to be a comical situation. He stopped and thought for a moment, unsure if that was an invitation or not. "Um. . . c-could we be partners?" he was tempted to stab himself in the foot for stuttering, which he hadn't done since he was learning to talk, he was sure. But there was something about Arxingall that made him nervous, of rejection maybe? He had made a few observations about the archer's charachter, it was true, but he knew there was much more to learn, that for once he was eager to do.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was the one to ask to be partners, Arxingall gave him credit for knowing what he wanted and going for it before Arxingall even thought to consider wanting to go for it. Az was brave, he'd give him that. He had resolve and nerve. "Partners, yes, I...I'd like that, too," he replied, wondering how this would work. He'd learn things about this other male in time, and they'd be close. It didn't mean they wouldn't argue or fight or anything, but it just meant they'd be seeing each other in a different light now instead of grudgingly refusing affection of any sort.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada couldn't help but smile into the leather armor when the owner of that armor agreed with him. For some strange reason, he felt like he wanted to dance, or sing, or just do something happy, even while standing in the dark, creepy mines. "I'm. . . very happy" he admitted, laughing slightly. He felt like he was a bit more free now, at just those simple words. He didn't know exactly what happened next, since all you could really see from relationships from other people was flirting, kissing, and holding hands. He was sure if he even attempted to flirt, he would make a fool of himself, so that was out.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"As am I," Arxingall admitted too, finding it was true. It was a different kind of happiness than other happiness he might share with whatever else. Missions had a satisfaction, getting his sister to listen was a proud sort of thing. Azlada being happy and wanting to be with him was...indescribable at the moment. He wasn't sure what to say to describe what he was feeling, or put it in a category of sorts. It was nearly a mix of all three sorts of happiness he felt before. "Luna sets us together often, and nothing ever said we can't help along with Her plans."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada snickered for a moment, looking up at the older elf. "Since when does Luna play matchmaker?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. But for them, maybe it had been necessary. They had been set on hating each other for a month or so. How things changed so quickly, he had no idea. "Well I'm glad she did anyways. Or else I might still be trying to skewer you with my sword" he said this somewhat sheepishly, trying to keep his mind away from the double meaning in that, that he might not mind too much.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Luna sets destinies, merely that," Arxingall said, shrugging. Luna had powers to do whatever she wanted. Arxingall didn't believe that was her real form with what she showed up with in the harbor. It had to be some sort of earth form she could take on, since her being an ethereal Goddess, she probably had no shape, or something so glorious it was not to be seen by mortals. She was a lot older than she looked, Arxingall was sure a Goddess of her age would not look so young as she did. "I wouldn't be so quick to put those ideas away. Partners fight, arguments or physically." Though he hoped it wouldn't go too far.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada was silent for a moment as he took that in. "Then. . . you think it was destined for us to be. . . partners?" he asked, curious as to what Arxingall thought. He seemed to really believe in fate and such, from what he had heard in the past little while. He did, to an extent. He believed that Luna could set their destinies, but he liked to think that he could change his if he didn't like where it was going. He was slightly alarmed when he was told that partners still fought, even though he already knew that. "Well not to the point where I want to stab you!" he exclaimed, a bit taken aback by that. He looked down at the large sword on the ground, that could do a lot of damage.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I think Luna had a good idea of what she was doing, yes," Arxingall responded, because it wasn't coincidence to meet p like that every time. Coincidence stopped being coincidence the second time and up. When something happened, he didn't believe in chance. He believed it was supposed to happen. Luna set their course, they followed it, and the things that happened along the way, those had been set too. Arxingall wasn't close minded to other suggestions, of course, but he had seen enough proof in his life so far that Luna must be doing things to set a warrior's path.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
That was a sweet thing to think, Azlada thought after a moment. Arxingall believed that they were destined to be together already? He hadn't ruled it out, but he wouldn't have thought that first. If this was true, he thought that Luna had good taste. Not that he would admit that. "Well, then I guess we can't go against the will of the Goddess" he said, finding this reasonable only now. Previously, he would have cussed and insulted Arxingall, and then probably left. It was strange how fast his opinion had changed.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"I suppose you could, in all technicality, but there'd be no point because her will is the rule, kind of thing. Something about laws and such." Arxingall didn't care much for it after that. Explaining it was nearly pointless, so he didn't bother with it normally. Something about what the Goddess wanted, she'd get, that sort of thing. "I'm not sure how it works, relationships between fighters," Arxingall said. "I'm guessing usually people in groups, permanent groups, are able to have a mostly normal relationship, rather than two who just meet up on the occasion." Would they travel together in a 'group' then? If they wanted to form one, then they'd have to stick by each other for the most part to be able to help each other.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada understood that, and it pretty much reflected back on what he believed, that he could change his life if he really wanted to. If he wished, he could turn his back on Arxingall and never talk to him again, to go against the will of Luna. Not that he wanted to, at all. "Yeah. So then. . . should we, ah, form a party?" he asked, unsure if that was what Arxingall was implying or not. He had to admit, it would be a lot better to be fighting with somebody around to help and talk to instead of all by himself.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Sure, we'd be able to track each other now too." Thank Luna that forming groups by pact sort of thing allowed them to use mp to track each other. They could communicate only to the group if they wanted, mentally, they could see where each other was if they needed to through foresight sort of thing, like looking into the others eyes and seeing what they saw. It was quite useful if they were in a hurry to come to their aid. "I'll form a party with you. It should suffice for you as well if I should go to the second floor of the Mines. You'll be able to see what I'm seeing, and you can make sure I'm not dying on the ground without your knowing."
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada loved the idea of forming parties, and how easy it made everything. He had only been in a party once before, and that was to help him kill the giant monsters in Alkar Harbour, way back when he was a newbie. "What? No! Then I'll just be able to see you die through your own eyes! That doesn't help at all!" he was dead set against the other going up to the second floor, where the vile creatures lived that could kill people so easily. Many a person went up there and never came back.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
"Knowing you're watching will help motivate me to stay alive," Arxingall commented, believing for the most part it'd be true. His sister gave him motivation not to die, most of the time. When they looked at each other, they saw each other through eyes that said that this could very well be the last time we meet. They knew the risk of fighting, but were each willing to take it. On some occasions, they'd tell each other not to die before the other. Not to die at all, and to come back safe. Fighters who made friends usually saw each other like that. Newbies were granted a gift from Luna for a little while, that they'd be resurrected if they happened to die, but that gift only lasted so long.
Re: Luna Online: Warriors at Heart
Azlada felt rather special with that comment. He had never really meant much to anybody before, other than his sister. But that he meant enough to Arxingall already that he would try to stay alive for him, he just felt happy. "I don't care" he said stubbornly, despite his feelings. "Just. . . stay here and help me?" he asked, looking up at him with what he hoped was a cute pout, but he had no idea how something like that would look on his face. He used to pout to get things from people when he was a child, but he hadn't used the expression in years.
