Chris spent the day asleep, of course, but later in the afternoon, he was restless. And so he proceeded to start going through his things, deciding what to take with him to Romania.

(( yay your home. XD i am kinda getting ready for work while cleaning so i will have to respond to kura in the morning when i get home. gives me a chance to work out a good post too ))

Rose pretty much stayed asleep for the entire day, getting a good day's rest as usual , and waking just as the sun was beginning to set, yawning she stretched, being lazy about getting out of bed since for the first time in a while , hunger was not her first urge.

Getting up she did her usual of getting dressed, combing out her hair and putting it in a half pony tial , letting the rest hang down her back loosely in gentle black waves. still bare footed she followed the sounds of movement through the house before she found Christopher. '' well i hope you got as much sleep as i did. ''

"Well, more or less, my dear." he said. "I've phoned my contact, and he's got a barge ready for us tomorrow night, which gives us a chance to stock up on supplies before we go. We'll have to run to the twenty-four hour store, but they'll have most everything."

With that, he smiled and gave her a kiss. "Aside from how much, how was your sleep?"

'' what sort of supplies?"kissed him back , smiling as well as she watched him. '' hmmm better then i have ever done before.. which is not too surprising since i wasn't alone in the house this time. its a good feeling actually ..'' though she knew she shouldn't get used to it, one never knew when everything would change.

'' and well if your ready to leave i am good for it.. erm... well. sometime tonight i need to make a run to my home. .. all my clothing is there anyways.'' she was a light packer, so it would be a quick trip.

"Well, you know, the basic essentials." he replied. "The toiletries, clothing; we'll need some warmer garb, considering we're going to northern Europe. Also we'll need to raid my stores. Alejandro requires that all vampires he transports bring thier own lunch."

He sealed up his rucksack, then turned to her and smiled. "Indeed, let's go. And stopping by your home's fine with me, if you trust me enough to know where it is." Upon this statement, he winked.

'' ahh well thats understandable. i would want them to bring their own food as well if it where me. '' she mentally made a make check list of the small things she would pack, all the while listening to him as he spoke.

Hearing his last comment she glanced up at him , '' hmm? oh now see i trust you , you showed me your home , i think its fair i do the same, though mine is not very... grand as yours.. but it serves its purpose. well i am ready when you are. ''

(( argh O.O i just saw that my post never posted on the other thread, maaaaan stupid thing gobbled my post up. ))

she arched a brow slightly at him, he still seemed to keep bringing on the surprises. she was now beginning to wonder how come most men where not like him. nearly perfect.. Oh she figured he was perfect in every way, she was still figuring things out from him.

Giving a slight shrug she turned and headed for the door. '' well best hurry up then, my place is on the other side of the town.. '' it would take less then thirty minutes to get there for her, she was fast but she didn't want to lose him.

(( lol hmmm its ok, as long as it don't happen all the time we are good XD drives me nuts when someone constantly does one liners. ))

she couldn't help but laugh at his response , shaking her head slightly, sending some tendrils of hair out of its hold in the ponytail. '' lets see if you can keep up then, '' she was quick to move, climbing up to the nearest rooftop before using all the others to quickly cut across the town without having to run into people on the street or those ridiculous moving metal machines.

it took her no time at all to reach her home, which like she had stated before was at the very end of the city on the other side , it was hidden by a large grove a trees with only a single dirt road. Stepping away from the trees now she sighed and stretched, it felt good to have a run like that. glancing around she wondered where he went or if he had even arrived yet. shrugging she turned her gaze to the small two store house, with its window panes half broken ,white paint dirty and peeling in some places.. '' yeap.. definitely needs some work. '' though she wasn't worried about the cosmetics of the house just yet, the mess really was on the inside she got the alarm systems built in but she was renovating a few of the rooms. making the walls stronger and reinforcing the floors. she was very meticulous about securing her home,.

Climbing the creaking steps of the porch she moved to the door and flipped the white box open that was off to the left. putting in a complicated combination of numbers before watching the red light go green , signaling it was safe to enter without setting it off.

Glancing behind her again before slipping inside she was quick to make it to her basement and pack a small bag, only getting the essentials. all the while knowing that he was somewhere close now, probably observing her home out of curiosity.

Chris wasn't too far behind. When he looked upon her humble abode, he sighed. She really was having to live in squallor. That made him feel a little bit ritzy-titzy, and he wasn't quite sure he liked that particular feeling.
It did have a nice landscape, though. He liked the more unkempt landscapes. Seemed a little more natural and inviting to him. He was old-fashioned.
He knocked on her door. "Anybody home?"

she heard the knock before frowning, vampires usually don't knock , rolling her eyes she grinned as she nudged the door more open.. '' definitely . sorry just grabbing a few last things. you can come in you know just watch your step, some of the floor boards are still in need of repair '' that and some of the rooms where missing a floor entirely and others could see down into the basement, she was having to replace everything and reinforce everything.

Going back to her room she slipped in a few of her favorite small weapons in case they where needed as she glanced around again, she still only had one single bag which was fine. she just felt like she was missing something. '' and watch your head hun. some of the doorways are a bit... small.. '' she grimaced slightly when she heard a thunk and a swear. probably just warned him a little too late about the small doorways.. either that or he kicked something, she wasn't too sure.

'' once they got out of the house she locked up, and set the alarm again, watching as the little green light turned to red , letting her know it was set. '' well come on then. where too next ? or are we ready to get on that thing?" she couldn't wait. she was definitely anxious to find the bastard that had left her to fend for herself.

'' you know i am a bit glad your doing this.. but i am also a little concerned.. if we find him, and i deal with him. makes me wonder what i will do after.. i don't want to get bored like others get.. how do you keep yourself from being bored?"

He led her on a lengthy joruney to the docks, eyes ever on the sky to make sure they were making good time and wouldn't get caught by sunrise.
He, as always, was a very good listener and let her talk, and then he pondered her question. "Well, not just one thing, really. But I suppose the biggest way is that I don't let myself become fixated on any one idea or goal. That's no way to spend an eternity. I try and let myself enjoy simple pleasures. I love video games, and reading, and even indulge in the artist's craft now and then. I play with the stray dogs on the streets at night, or take them to the humane society if they're injured. Same with cats. Then I like to go out and visit with the Fae Folk when they come around in thier vast travels. In all honesty, I just let myself be aloof; except when I need to hunt, of course."

She listened to him silently, ignoring the sounds of their foot steps on the docks.Though she was a little surprised that he would even go as far as messing with animals, they tended to not like her.. well other then the occasional cat. she loved kittens.

Smiling she glanced at him, liking the tender side he was actually showing her. or well telling her.. '' my my.. you are a wonder.. artistic huh? like what? painting? sculpting?" she looked over at him again before looking forward to the one of the boats, grimacing slightly , she didn't think she was going to like being tossed around among the waves. her skin was already prickling with the feeling of a storm out in the water. '' which one is ours?"

He pointed down the docks, at what appeared to be a tanker. A closer inspection would reveal it to be a freight barge, and it was massive. "Right down there, the Lady Dianna." he said. "She's not leaving until tomroow evening, but that gives us a buffer to get our sea legs and adjust to the stench of old metal. But she's reliable, that's for sure."
He put a haind about her waist and steered her towards it, like they were simply on a pleasure stroll.
"And as for my artistic side? Painting and sketching, mostly."

she relaxed, feeling his hand on her waist, it didn't bother her one bit surprisingly. '' well thats good, i can definitely use the reprieve to get used to the ocean's movements. '' she thought for a moment on his answer to the question she asked about his artistic skill.

She couldn't help the smile of course as she looked up at him while they walked up the ramp to step onto the Lady Dianna. ' really? i would like to see some of your work.. bet your as good as Divinci if you have done it long enough to perfect it.''

He smiled, finding once again he thoroughly enjoyed her conversation. He chuckled when she asked about his artistic skills. "Actually, to the contrary." he corrected her, guiding her below decks to a room marked "KADE". He opened the door, ans surprisingly it was a fully furnished quarter, deep in the bowels of the ship. It even had a mini fridge.
"Art is soemthing that can never be perfected no matter how long one studies the discipline. It's why I never lose interest. As for DaVinci, I doubt I'm as talented as he yet. I've only been doing it for two hundred years."
