she yelped, giving a slight grunt as her back was up against his chest, panting slightly she turned to look up at him before smiling" well. alright then. " squirming slightly against him before he let her go she turned and faced him once more, looking him over and glancing at the dagger he threw at the ground. " mmmm . uh huh, i doubt that. " she eyed him before launching herself at him again, doing everything she could to strike out at him and atleast try and land a hit.

He grinned as he watched her.."you definatly seem confident now." He grinned as he blocked her hands and attacks eaisly.."not to bad ladie Avani." He says while in the midst of defending him self. One of her punches got threw and she tagged him in the ribs knocking the wind out of him. He stepped aside and grabbed her taking them both to the ground pinning her hands above her head..."damn you hit hard." He grinned as he looked down into her eyes sorta stairing off into them. "You have beautiful eyes ladie Avani." He says with a smile

She was actually a bit surprised that one hit got through, it was probably the reason he was able to get a hold of her so easily and before she knew it she was on the ground with a slight grunt, hands pinned above her head and she was staring up at him, flushing and panting a little from the effort to try and hit him. " for the record.. hitting you actually hurts, my hand is throbbing but its alright. "

at his comment on her eyes she blushed brightly and squirmed a little under him. " th-thank you Jacent, thats the first compliment i have received all week... umm mind getting off of me now?"

He looked to her and then cocked his head to the side..."Well I guess I am basicly solid." He says with a smile as he then blinked..."Oh sorry if I embarassed you Ladie Avani." He says as he then nodded.."Right." He says as he moved off of her and sat beside her. "Sorry about that...I don't know what came over me." He says as he then looked to her hand..."Nothing looks broken thats for sure." He says trying to get off the subject. He was alittle red from embarassment as well...And it was a weird feeling he didn't know if he liked or not.

She blushed even more before arching a brow. " you didn't embarrass me, just.. ummm.. shy i guess? oh i don't know. never had anyone let alone a guard actually notice how pretty my eyes look.. pappa usually does that and sits there and says i look like my mother." sitting up she grinned as he looked at her hand, even wiggled her fingers for him. " nah, not broke, might be a little bruised.. i was a bit surprised to get a hit on you. " she studied him for a moment, thinking he was the one embarrassed.

It actually took her a moment to realize he was blushing, eyes widening she grinned" are you blushing Sir Jacent? well i do say you look good with a bit of pink to your cheeks. " grinned, reaching up and lightly caressed his cheek, it was an automatic response, one she hadn't realized she was going to do until her fingers where already doing it.

He looked to her his face still alittle pink..."I told you I wouldn't do any special stuff ladie Avani." He says as he then arched a brow with her eyes widened and she grinned..."What....I...I don't know..." He says blinking and blushing alittle more as she lightly carressed his cheek. This was another odd feeling to him...Being touched by someone that wasn't entending to try and kill him. He slightly leaned against her hand looking to her. "This feeling is Weird...But I think I like it." He says

She grinned, now glad that she was touching, giving him a feeling he liked. " really now? i am marely caressing your cheek Jacent, not every touch has to be painful you know. and i know you said you wouldn't do any special stuff, but your still trained at this, i am not. i figured you would have been too fast still for anything."

She was surprised that he was blushing more, and the fact he leaned into her hand was a bit rewarding. " mmmm well, maybe after this i will show you a few more things that you may find good yes?"

He looked to her and then smiles..."Yes I know...Its just different it all." He says with a smile as eh then grinned.."I underestimated you Ladie Avani." He says as he then looked to her..."That sounds good to me." He says with a smile now curious as to what she was speaking of. "Alright then I guess I'll show you how to remove a weapon from an assassins hands eaisly." He says with a smile.

she grinned and removed her hand from his cheek. " thats alright and darn right you did. granted i don't have the physical experience in this, but i do watch my dad when he trains and spar's with his soldiers. " getting up and dusting her pants off she watched him. " well then, lets get to it?. we still have plenty of daylight." grinned, excited, she wasn't even sore yet,well, other then her fist from colliding with his chest.

Glancing at the horses for a minute then back to the dagger he stuck in the ground " so. how do we do this?"

He grinned as he sprung to his feet and then picked up the dagger handing it to her..."Now thrust the blade at me slowly and watch my hand movements." He says with a smile as he stepped back and got ready for her. When she did he quickly swipped the blade from her hands..."Now try on me...We will go slowly at first." He says with a smile.

Watching him spring to his feet she frowned as he handed her the dagger and explained what to do. " okay, so slowly.. got it. " when she did as he was told and squeaked when he suddenly swipped the blade from her she looked to him and now her empty hand.. that had definitely been quick. but she did get a chance to see what he had done. " well alright then.. " she got the feeling that she would probably end up with a few nicks here and there on her palm and fingers the faster they went, but that would be fine, it was all part of learning after all.

She waited till he did the same to her, and then, following what he had showed her, took the blade from him. it felt awkward but figured it would get easier with time and practice.

He grinned as he looked to her..."That was pretty good Ladie Avani." He says with a smile as he cocked his head to the side.."Are you sure you haven't done this before?" He asks her with a grin as he took the dagger back from her.."Alright...once more." He says with a smile as he moved at her going alittle faster this time.

she blushed and grinned" oh positive i haven't done this before. " which was true, but she was a fast learner and had told him so. Releasing the dagger for him to do it again she got ready, nodding when he said once more, a little surprised that he went a little faster but moved quickly this time all the same, this time though she fumbled the dagger and dropped it. " ah crap. sorry. still feels a little awkward."

He smiles as he leaned down and picked up the dagger..."Its alright...You will get the hang of it." he says with a smile as he looked to her. "Would you like to take a break or continue?" He asks her curiously.

" mmmm lets continue, i want to get used to it first before we take a break, is that okay?" least she didn't cut herself with the darn thing but she was determined to learn. " and then maybe. we can get some lunch or ride around a bit. heh give you a little more fun to experience..."

She still had tons of question's roaming in her head and this time she couldn't hold one back " just curious but where your from.. are you even allowed to marry ?"

HE smiles as he nodded his head.."Thats completly fine Ladie Avani." He says with a smile as he then nodded his head.."Sounds good to me." He grinned as he then cocked his head to the side..."I'm from the mountains to the far east of here....Never heard of the term marry...I was strickly limited to fighting where I came from." He says as he looked to her.

Shocked by his response she shook her head" your kidding right?... thats not.. normal i don't think.. so i take it you don't even know what marriage is?" geez she thought her father was strict but his people apparently had worse rules than anything. " but.. how do you .. ummm.. grow? your group?.. i mean uhh you gotta have women there yes?.." well this was awkward.. she was trying to figure out how his people reproduce and stay alive without embarrass the both of them.

He looked to her and cocked his head to the side..."No not at all Ladie Avani." He says as he then cocked his head to the side..."No there were no women our mothers were choosen from a certain group...Never met them or our fathers.." He says as he looked to her..."This is odd too you?" He questioned her curiously.

she blinked and this time she did blush ." yes this is definitely odd.. never umm heard of such a thing.. almost sounds like they are using women as.. umm breeding mares?..and well.. my parents where married.. its a union between two people who either loved each other. or had an arrangement by their own parents for their children to marry in order to uhhh seal an argreement of some sort.. usually a truce between a warring family.. "

rubbing the back of her neck she shifted a little nervously." i am sorry..i was merely curious. didn't know that you had never met your parents before. "

He looked to her and cocked his head to the side..."Your blushing now." He says as he then listened to her closely..."Marrige sounds like an interesting subject...But love is somthing I don't understand..." He says as he then looked to her..."It's ok Ladie Avani...No need to say your sorry...I was just brought up different from the way you are is all." He says as he looked to her.

she blinked then blushed even more when he pointed out she was blushing. " ahh.. yea.. sorry.. i mean er... maan. " she sighed and tried her best not to cover her face before shaking her head. he didn't even know what love was.. " love.. is an emotion Jacent.. like when you care deeply for something or someone.. Love is a form of that.. "

She grimaced slightly before sighing" i know you where brought up diferently.. but i apologize for asking if you where not comfortable with it. "

He looked to her and then smiles listening to her closely..."Sorry if I make you uneasy Ladie Avani...Hmmm love sounds like an intresting emotion...Maybe I will learn what it feels like some day." He says as he then looked to her..."No need to appoligise Ladie Avani...I'm comfortable with talking about any thing really." He says as he then grinned slightly.."Your an easy person to talk to..." He says with a smile.

she frowned" ohhh no no. your not making me uneasy.. i mean.. most people would be all .. upset or jealous or something that i knew both my parents. or that i got to experience things they didn't.. jealousy is an ugly emotion..and i just.. i dunno. i didn't want you to feel bad about anything i guess.. "

she just couldn't get rid of that blaste blush even as he said love would be an interesting thing to learn." ummm well . its a good thing i will tell you that.. to have someone to love you and be loved by them. ." she glanced around and toed the dirt a little " well thank you, your easy to talk to as well. "

He grinned as he looked to her.."Oh alright then....Jealousy sounds like somthing I don't want to learn at all." He says as he looked to her.."I won't feel bad Ladie Avani." He says with a smile as he looked to her as she still blushed..."But how do you get someone to love you? This is all just confusing for me." He says with a smile as he then smiles..."Thats good to know Ladie Avani...I wouldn't want to be hard to talk too." He grinned.

she frowned before laughing softly , shaking her head" hun you can't just get someone to love you, it just happens, by spending time with someone you like and well, over time, feeling's will develop. and well it all just happens from there i think. honestly i really haven't fallen in love, and i have never really umm spent time with guys other then watching papa's soldiers fight and spar.. " looked around before back to him . " well. we can take a break if you wish and you can ask me any question's you want, i will be happy to answer them."
