James looked on in a form of dumbfounded horror at the way this fallen was acting. werent they supposed to always be calm and collected? and most certainly NOT acting like a human child?
" Hey uhh....Lynessa? I did that for your own good Darlin." James said trying his best to keep a poker face at the recent display of insanity.
he strode over and picked Lynessa up and tossed her over his shoulder and started walking towards the spare bedroom with her. " Take a short time to rest and we can figure things out from there got it? ya get outta bed once and ill put those barriers around you like a spider does with a bug."
James Looked over his shoulder to Adelyn as he said this to Lynessa and motioned for her to grab the bottle of Hellfire whiskey from the table and follow.

-a few moments pass before she realized she was being beckoned, grabbing the whiskey and a glass, then follows him slowly, eyeing Lynessa as she sobs. feeling concern and care, she steps a little quicker and grabs her hand in comfort as she stares after her- Lynessa i thinks hes right.. you should rest a while, i shall sit outside the room if you would like or if you want me in there to watch over. that is your choice as well. -looks up a bit and glances over at James as he so casualy escorts her.-

Lynessa passes out as soon as James and Adelyn grab her. She is plagued by dreams of the people she has killed and the lives she has ruined. She remembers when she killed a child because he walked in on her......

[i] "You dont deserve the life he has given you" Lynessa hissed at her prey. "he allows you to produce children and you over populate this world he gave you. destroying all his gifts and leaving a trail of death behind your species. one day you will die and realize this being you believe to be benevolent is a cruel and biased being. He is like a child holding a magnifying glass over an ant hill. you filthy insects just keep swarming." Lynessa had had enough of this and she ripped out his throat, as she turned she saw a young child, about 3 sitting and staring at her. She floundered for what to do, should she kill him, or leave him. no one would believe him if he said a woman ripped out the mans throat......

James carried Lynessa over to the spare room and brought her to the bed and laid her down. Knowing that eventually she would either choose to follow his path or stray into the path that had corrupted so many other fallen, and when she did...he would be the one assigned to take her down like so many before.
"Get some rest. And choose your own fate Lynessa." he said into her ear before he left the room, closing the door with one hand and walking over to Adelyn.
"Ill take some of that Sweetcheeks..." he said reaching for the whiskey bottle and taking a large swig before walking to the sofa in the living room and sitting down.

-still standing at the door of the room, thinking long of what she might be dreaming. thinking who that man possibly was that James mentioned. her essance glowering as she tries desperately to channel her peaced energy to Lynessa. then with a final sigh she walks to join him in the living room sitting in a chair opposite of him- so.. will she be okay ? what is it that this man wants from her ? i have not heard of him..

Lynessa woke up a few hours later. she decided to stay in the room, she had alot to think about it. What if James was right, what if this was a trick by some asshole. She couldnt die, she had to many things to do. What if James was lying to keep her from freeing the humans. She decided she had to find out what he was up to. Lynessa left the room and walked towards the voices in another part of the house.

James Looked Adelyn over as he sipped his drink.
" Azathoth is no man..he is one of the Ancient ones....the Elder gods that few even believe in anymore. he wants to test Lynessa to see if she is weak like the last few fallen he has seen, they are so easily fooled by a voice in thier head that they will willingly obey it in hopes that its their creator."
James chuckled humorlessly as he reached for a smoke on the table and lit it.
" If she obeys....He will undoubtably send me to "Fix" her, if not...then she is smarter than the last few that he spied upon"
James took a deep drag from the smoke and looked back at Adelyn with a sense of curiosity and hunger. "so tell me Adelyn...hows your world since you came upon my path?"

-gazes at him as he stares hungrily, does she tense slightly but her expression remains smooth as she lays back in the chair- nothing to out of the norm. its rather calm from what im used to to be quite honest.. ive spent many centuries paying for my mistakes.. my..actions - gazes off to the side in reflection only to bring her attention back to James- in any case i have only been to this part once and that was back in a former life of mine.. i have died many times so quite frankly i am used to this world..just changes fashions is all..

Lynessa walks into the room. "How can you be so at ease, how do you know he isnt tricking us?" lynessa asked Adelyn before turning to James. "Why should i trust you that this voice is going to harm me if i follow it? what can you do to prove that its not someone who can help the humans. answer me or i will ring it from you if i have to." Lynessa pleaded desperately.

James rolled his eyes as he faced Lynessa. " look, you can either trust me or not...I dont personaly care either way. And besidews I thought the humans were just prey to you? Y'know...worthless disgusting creatures?"
He said with a slight note of humor as he locked eyes with the Fallen.
"And Azathoth is one of the few Elder Ones who doesnt care about them, kindof an experiment in his eyes." He finished that thought by downing the rest of the bottle of Hellfire and sat there in silence looking at the two.

-gazing over at james with uncertainty and then to Lynessa, arms crossed slightly as she sighs for a moment- i know it doesnt seem like the best corse of action to you Lynessa but we are in no position to snub any help offered. now to my knowledge he seems trust worthy enough . but you and i know that if we are to be wronged, that we can take him together. is that suitable enough for an agreement? - she gazes for a long moment, awaiting a reply . then stands to go retrieve her cup of tea and returns sitting in the chair once more, gazing after the two. in her mind she is rigid and wary of the decision but none the less keeps her expression cool and emotionless.-

Lynessa ignores James and turns to Adelyn. "ok i trust you. him im still leary of but if you trust him i will stick with you." Lynessa hissed before raiding his house for more alcohol. "Wheres the booze asshole?"

James chuckled as he watched her search for more booze. "well for one...i drank all the whiskey...for two Its pretty darn rude to call your kind host an asshole hehe"
He grinned at Lynessa and got up and started walking to the garage, once in he went to the center of the room and pulled up the door for the cellar and went down, and a short moment later came up with a box of glass bottles with some sort of acid green liquor.
"hope ya can stomach this hehe. all i got left till next month. oh and by the way...Ill be goin for a lil drive in a while if Y'all wanna come along"
James grinned as he said this.

-puts her hand to her head as she watches Lynessa search around, amused as she stands with her tea and hand. watching as James re-enters the room with a glowering liquid, her brow raises in curiousity as he speaks of going on a trip- exactly where is it you are going James ? dont want to go anywhere after dusk if i can avoid it... - looks down for a moment before meeting both of their curiouses gazes, her body growing rigid as they gaze in question.-

Lynessa senses Adelyns hesitation. "im staying here and drinking your booze asshole." she sais in a sickly sweet voice as she grabs a bottle and downs the contents. Lynessa grabs two more bottles and walks away.

"well good luck with The Abbysal absynthe Lynessa, you're gonna feel like shit tomorrow hehe." James said as she walked off, Lighting a smoke as he turned to Adelyn.
" And Im just goin out to dust off my steel monster out there hehe. been least a year since i took it to the range" James went to the window and pointed to the aged Tank sitting on the lawn. "youre more than welcome to come...hell ya might even enjoy yourself Sweetcheeks" He said looking back at adelyn and holding out a leather coat for her.

-her eyes following over to Lynessa as she walks off with the liquor and sighs as she shakes her head- do be careful and dont drink too much. we do need to set off foot tomorrow i believe . - with that said, she turns to James as he speaks about the tank seen earlier and becomes rather inquizative- why would you want to drive it ? i thought it didnt have use other than sitting there... - leaning against the counter as she finishes off her tea and sets it down. thinking for a moment on whether to join him or not. she figures what harm can come of it and walks over and takes the jacket from his grasps- no tricks understood ? i will kill you if you do.. dont think i will hesitate James..

Lynessa decides to open a mental connection between her and Adelyn. he tries anything tell me, i will blow his brain out. we are leaving in the morning, if he is trustworthy he can come, but im leaving and im going to kill the fucker who is messing with me, even if i have to take out your ex. im out.

" Ya got nothin to worry about Sweetcheeks hehe" James cracked a grin and walked over to the tank and climbed up onto the Turret and unscrewed the hatch to the Turret controls and leapt off only to climb up again and lift up a hatch at the very front of the tank and then jumped off again and turned to Adelyn.
"well? Ya wanna drive? or operate the main gun?" He said grin getting even wider as he leaned against it.

-listening to Lynessa as she speaks does she repond back : do not worry . i will let you know if anything shadey occurs alright. yes, we are to leave in the morning as schedualed so dont fret on that . as far as lucifer is concerned, that is why i perfer to be indoors at night. he is still after me...: closing wave as she turns her attention to what James asked her, smirking slightly as she climbs in without hesitation and takes hold of the gunner- shall we . i rather not take too much time out of the day for this.

Lynessa continued drinking and thinking about all the ways she would like to tear the fucker apart that was forcing her to remain indoors. she hated being confined and between James and that voice she was trapped here in this stuffy house, she couldnt even unfurl her wings for fear of destroying the place.

James grinned at Adelyn and then turned to the house and shouted to Lynessa "Ya sure ya dont wanna come with us? we got room for one more!"

He then put out his smoke and climbed into the Drivers seat below the Main gun, James was amazed the the two hadnt noticed the Hellsmith runes carved into the hull of the tank. but he supposed they would find out it wasnt any normal KV-1. he had paid the hellsmith handsomely to have an auto loading mechanism placed into the tank along with a sigil that replicated all of the ammunition so that James never ran out during his time on the field. The engine had also been modified to haul the 47 ton monster to speeds in excess of 60mph. Needless to say it wasnt going to be a boring ride. James hummed slightly as he rifled through a case of CDs and selected a rock band and slid it into the Cd player he himself had added as a joke.
"Its very simple to shoot this baby Adelyn! all ya gotta do is squeeze the trigger on that lever by your side! just be warned!.....its loud as hell!" he raised his voice to be heard over the KV's engine. Hoping she wouldnt fire on of the H.E or high explosive rounds this close to his house, he really hoped she would wait till they got to the range. he also hoped that the other fallen would join them.

-glancing down as he calls out to her does she await a reply in hopes that she does join them in this rather awkward trip. as she sits, she looks about inside, familiarizing herself with the tanks anatomy and huffs when she looks down at James, excited about his little play toy. feeling a twinge in her soul as she recalls the runes upon the vehicle does she grab at her chest slightly and grimmace. - hope she does join us. it would be alot more interesting to say the least..

Lynessa downs both bottles of liquor and runs to the tank, pushing Adelyn out of the gunner seat. "lets do this" she sais in her best solid snake impression.

James gave a hearty laugh at the Impression and keyed in the Mike. " Alright ladies...we're headed to a range just a short distance from here, as I get us there Ill be helping to familiarize you with my baby hehe. And since Lynessa shoved you out of the way Adelyn you get to either take the commanders seat or the loaders seat."
James grinned as he knew that the commander was the one who really controlled when the gun was fired, and that the gunners job was to just aim the gun and make sure the range was good.
"either way Im sure Y'all enjoy this" he said rolling the tank out and onto the road, scaring a passing vehicle into the nearby ditch.
