Raven look at herself a moment. She was different from the others. She did not kill because someone had demon blood in them. She only killed those demons earlier because they were a threat to her and him whether he liked to admit it or not. She was protecting herself and the people around her. She closes her eyes and starts to fall asleep again. She found herself in the same room with his body on the floor. The voices telling her to kill him. I warn you though. You will have to come through me to get it!" The nightmare shattered like glass and then she was surrounded by light. Nothing but light.

Rhama stayed in the shower as long as he dared, but the tingling just wouldn't budge. What made it worse was when she fell back to sleep and started fighting her dream. He felt like he was right there with her and that was too much.

Getting out of the shower, he wrapped a towel around his hips and went to the bedroom door. He lifted his fist, intending to wake her up and stop the dream, but as his knuckles touched the wood, he found he couldn't. Don't do it, his mind told him, don't. His fist dropped and he went to the couch and laid on it. A few minutes later, he was dreaming.

The room burned with the glow of a fire somewhere and Raven had a glow all of her own as she laid under him, their wings as entwined as their bodies were. No! Rhama battled to wake up, finally jolting to sit up straight and another cold sweat across his brow....

The moment he began to dream she was transported into his dream. She saw their bodies entangled and their wings looking as they had become one. Her cheeks became bright red. This wasn't her dream. Not one bit of it was her dream. So if it was not her dream, it had to be his. But he pretty much hated her. So why would he dream something like this? She wakes up with a jolt like he did. "Rhama why the heck would you dream something like that?"


Hexes watched the two of them from his throne. He was obviously very angry. He had warned him that the dream magic was a two edged sword. She saw his dreams as he would see hers. The balance is forming and nothing could stop it once it started. His son was not as careful as he thought. He would have to find a way to speed things up in order to stop him from losing this war because of his worthless son.

Rhama quickly got to his feet and strode into the bedroom to get fresh clothes. He left without saying a word and went out onto the balcony. He made a circle of salt and sat down in it. Now untouchable, he cleared his mind and began to think over his next move. He could hear his father's words of disappointment rattling in his mind, but ignored it as best he could and concentrated.

Dream magic was dangerous and he'd known that when he cast it. He could control his own dreams with a little hard work and focus while still keeping tabs on hers. He couldn't let that happen again, but being so close to her these last days and that stubborn tingling feeling that just wouldn't let him be, it was harder than he thought. Perhaps he should have just killed her that first moment. He could have dealt with that much easier. As it was, this was the hand dealt and he would have to make the best of it.

Clearing his mind further, he concentrated on memories of his training. The sheer brutality of it was enough to calm him and focus his mind on what needed to be done. Step one, gain the angel's trust. He figured he'd done that now. Step two, twist her perception. He guessed seeing his dream like she had would certainly go a long way. Step three, get the angel to hell.....

Hexes groans knowing what his son was thinking. He says in his son's mind, "Rhama your thoughts are not safe anymore. She will be able to hear them now. You opened a door that can't be closed. I warned you. You can't stop it now."

Raven could hear every thought. Tears streamed down her face. She was a key of some sort. He planned on using her. She holds her head as her emotions bottled up. Her wings changing colors rapidly. Her body glows gold and she explodes again. This time only taking out the house. She takes off in the sky and flys out of the city. She was not going to stay around Rhama anymore. She flys towards the mountains knowing demons could not handle the colder temperature.

"And here was me believing a salt circle was unbreakable from the outside." He scorned and then looked around just in time to see his apartment vaporise. It blew him clean off the balcony and he hit the street in time to see Raven emerge from the dust plume and fly off somewhere. "You never told me about this!" He yelled to his father out loud. "You never told me it could be like this!"

Without a thought, he took off after her, leaving the building to collapse on itself. The air got cold quick and his shirt offered no protection from the icy winds now battering him around the skies. He landed on the mountain side not far from her and roared as his entire body seemed to radiate that tingling feeling. "Make it stop!" He yelled at her....

She looks at him as she was still angry at him and his father. "I will not open the door to Hell and allow the armies on Earth! I am not your toy!" She gets on top of him and turns her bow into a blade. "I have protected you from your own kind! Your father has thrown you to the wolves! And still serve him like a loyal pet! How stupid can you be!" She presses the blade against his throat shaking so hard it was like her body was glass. The tingling feeling was effecting her too but she was too angry at him to listen.

Rhama lifted his head slightly, purposely pressing his throat harder against her blade. "Then be done with it!" He yelled, daring her to cut his throat. "You think you're so fucking smart and powerful! Prove it!".....

Raven looks at the blade and sees blood and quickly backs away. She holds her head. "Damn it! I hate this feeling!" She runs deep in a cold cave. She starts a fire and sits in a corner. "This tingling has to stop! I don't know what it wants me to do!" She wraps her wings around her body. She could feel the heat rising in her skin and the tingling growing more intense. She looks out at Rhama for a moment. Could he not see that she was just as confused as he was about this.

Rhama remained where he was for a moment and stared up at the grey skies above. The icy winds and dampness in the air meant the weather was about to turn against them. A storm was coming. But still, he remained exactly where he was as Raven disappeared inside the cave. The tingling inside him was worse than ever after being so close to her and something in his mind began to make sense of it.

While his dark blood still trickled down his neck, he slowly sat up as the first flakes of snow began to fall on his head and shoulders. It wouldn't take long to be a few feet deep, but he wasn't thinking about that. He stared out over the ridge of mountains as his mind went wild with every possibility he could think of that had brought him to this point.

His thoughts went from everything to a sick joke by Hexes to finally be rid of him, to his greatest challenge of loyalty, to a twist of fate. He even considered an angelic twist to things. His mother was an angel and that part of him had always been considered a danger as it linked him to Heaven and the interference of other angels. Hexes had used it to his advantage, giving him inside knowledge into how things were going upstairs. What if now, upstairs was getting some revenge? Perhaps the only good thing right now was that he knew nothing and nobody could see or reach them here. These mountains had an iron ore core to them which had better protection than any magic. Out here, they really were completely alone.

Rhama's eyes turned to the cave's opening and he saw some smoke drifting out. Raven had made a fire to keep warm. Once looking in her direction, his mind filled with thoughts about her and for her. She was as confused and angry about it as he was.

More snow began to fall and he finally got to his feet. The tingling in him reached a new depth and without really realising what he was doing, his feet carried him inside towards Raven. In silence, he stood before her, feeling that tingle grow ever more. He knew what was about to happen was wrong, but it seemed something else was at work here.

Opening her wings, Rhama crouched down and got nose to nose with Raven. Without a word, he took firm hold of her behind her head and pushed his forehead to hers as he battled to breathe. He wasn't sure, but something told him he needed to do this and her response would dictate what happened next....

Raven looks at him as he came into the cave. She moved over so he could get warm. But then he got right in front of her. Her body was on fire as soon as he touched her. What was he doing? He was so close to her. Her mind is racing a million miles an hour. She slowly kissed him gently on the lips. This time she wasn't giving him energy. This time she was being gentle and loving. Something he probably was not able to do. For once she actually felt like they were alone. No more voices in her head and no more interference with his father or the demons. Maybe then he could relax and just be his true self.

Rhama felt a sudden rush of something as Raven kissed him. The tingling reached an all new high and he responded. In his mind, he could still hear that voice telling him this was a very bad mistake, but he knew he couldn't stop. He kissed her back deeply and leaned over her to lay her down.

At his back, his wings fluttered and came round his shoulders. They spread out to lay over hers on the cave's floor and he leaned right into her again. The tingling continued to radiate through him and he felt his heart begin to thud loudly. His breath quickened and he soon felt lost in her touch and her smell. The latter, he hadn't really noticed until now and it was incredible to him. She smelled like desert flowers and tropical fruit and he loved it.....

Raven kisses him deeply as she felt him press against her. She wraps her wings around him and removed his jacket and cold shirt. She feels his cold skin. "You must be in so much pain. You are chilled to the bone." She removes her shirt and presses against him to give him her body heat. She kisses him again this time with all the passion she can bring out.

She tried to imagine the pain he was in and he couldn't help but laugh slightly against her lips. "You have no idea." He replied. With his coat and shirt off, he could feel her hot skin next on his and he began to forget about the tingling still getting worse inside. He kissed her again deeply and pressed his warming skin to hers and then mentally told the voice in his head to fuck off. He no longer cared how wrong this was supposed to be. All he could see, feel and imagine was her....
