She moved a bit further out so she could also clear her mind. She felt like a dog but refused to make herself one. She growled a little annoyed how she had made Daniel feel. She had never been around humans for long and she had blown it.

[Chaosmazer]

She didn't mean it... he knew that. It was just her charm. He felt bad, she was probably feeling horrible right now. He wanted to rush to her side and tell her that. But he controlled himself. He couldn't do that. His head would fog up again and he might end up hating himself once more. "She... is just a friend... whatever happens, happens." he had to keep telling himself that.

[Tierra]

She kept walking on her own path. She could hear the the pack a hundred yards away. She longed to join them and be who she is but she longed to be with Daniel. She wished she could have both. Her hackles rose a little as she smelt new wolves in the area. This wasn't a good sign.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel couldn't sense anything. Instead he was still trying to keep his focus off of her. Inside, he wanted to embrace the wild side... to be like her, part beast. But he knew that was impossible. He wanted to be with her. Their escape, their freeing of her pack... still he knew that if they returned to the pack, he most likely wouldn't be welcome.

[Tierra]

She moved to Daniel's side fast. "We aren't alone and I'm not talking about the pack. We have to move closer to the pack" she said smelling the newcomers. She would fight them off but not with Daniel near and she was outnumbered. "They will pick up the smell of the pack if we move closer to them and then they will leave.... with luck" she said. She took a deep breath and held her composure so Daniel wouldn't be frightened.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel looked down at her worried. He wasn't quite sure what she was saying at first, but he got it sorted out. She was near him again... but they needed to find some sort of safety. "Alright... we had better hurry then." he said. "Which way is your pack?" he asked.

[Tierra]

She put her hand to the ground and stood again. "This way" she said starting to run. "Try keep up" she said across her shoulder. She longed to change and call to her pack but she refused. She knew Coven would be mad at her for walking away from her lifeline with a human but she knew he would protect her if she was in harms way.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel started to run. He was pretty fast, but not as fast as her. Still, he was able to keep up alright. He kept one hand on the hilt of his blade. Daniel was more of a fighter than a runner...

[Tierra]

She could smell the pack growing closer. "Coven" she yelled.
"Coven. There are others." she yelled as the pack started to appear in their vision. She spun round and growled slightly, the other wolves were advancing on them even though they had caught the scent of the pack. "Daniel you must move to the middle of the pack" she said looking across at coven. The pack formed a circle around Daniel, Lith and coven walked forward and changed. She didn't want to change but willed her body to it. They ran to meet the other wolves and get them away from the pack and Daniel.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel was placed in the middle of the pack... but he didn't wish it... he wanted to go with Lith and Coven to help. He thought... why would she command him to do something like this... stay back here, near the middle of the pack... did... she... she was trying to keep him safe. He waited... standing in the middle of the pack. He hand on his sword at all times. He waited still... The second he thought that any danger would befall her he would run off... he would find her and help her.

[Tierra]

They were wild shape shifters driven mad by the beast in them. She stood tall showing them she was in charge. Coven leapt forward challenging the beasts. She snarled at Coven but he refused to turn down, to her surprise he turned on her and showed his teeth. She took a step back in surprise and ran for the pack. She cried out to inform them of Coven's betrayal.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel heard her and rushed out to meet her... he didn't know what exactly was going on. He unsheathed his sword... he didn't care if she was trying to protect him right now... he wanted to help her as well. It was dangerous... he knew that... he had never taken on a pack before and won. He always barely escaped with his life... but for her, he would risk it... though he was a bit afraid... he didn't show it. He was going to help, no matter how foolish he was for doing so.

[Tierra]

She changed before them "Five plus Coven. He's betrayed the pack. They are coming. Change and show no mercy." She said. She changed back and licked Daniel's hand in reassurance. The pack changed and she stood before them. She raised her hackles and showed her teeth as the other wolves approached.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel listened... Coven betrayed the pack? Why? That bastard! That Coward! Daniel felt anger welling up inside of him, but he felt Lith lick his hand, reassurance... he was going to help. He stood waiting for one to strike at him. He made a good target, a human among wolves... "They are gonna need more men..." Daniel said smirking confidently...

[Tierra]

She watches as big wolf like creatures emerged. The pack growled and moved forward next to Lith. She was a tad smaller then those before them but she held the mind of a human. She lunged forward as she spotted the muscles tense in Coven's legs. She lunged for his neck with the intention to kill. His jaws locked on her leg as her jaws came down on his ears. The pack moved forward to take down the others.

[Chaosmazer]

As the group appeared, Daniel was a bit shocked at first... these were bigger wolves that he had expected... but still... it wouldn't be too hard... he had to watch Coven though, he was out to get Lith.... something Daniel would not allow...

Daniel charged forward with the others. One wolf was in front of him, he brought his sword down, but it sidestepped his strike... While he was bringing his sword back up he seen it lunge at him, Daniel rolled out of the way and prepared for more. He looked over and seen Coven and Lith fighting. He wanted to go help... but this was her fight. If Coven got the upper hand, he would step in. Now he focused on the others.

[Tierra]

She lost track of those around her. Coven used his bigger body against her but she used her brain, sidestepping him and going under him for his tender belly. Their snarls and crunching teeth echoed around them. He bit down on her ear and she clawed his muzzle, then he turned and ran. His wolves followed and she stood panting. She looked around to see who still stood and who was injured.

[Chaosmazer]

While the two fought. Daniel was caught slipping. One bigger wolf jumped at him, Daniel dropped his sword so he could grapple, there wasn't enough time for a strike. First, Daniel was pinned down. He seen the fangs from the wolf going for his through he reached up and grabbed the beast's mouth, holding it back... however another one came up and bit into his arm, trying to tear it away from holding back the mouth of the other wolf. Daniel made a small cry of pain, but managed to tough it out. He throw off both of his attacker. He sprung to his feet, grabbing his sword and struck out at one of his attacker. He managed to cut one, but not enough to put it down. That was when they ran. Daniel stood up straight... he wanted to pursue them... that would get him killed though. He was out of breath though.

[Tierra]

She changed and dressed. Blood ran down her ear and a few cuts lined her arms and legs. She walked to Daniel. "You ok?" she asked taking his arm in her hands as she inspected it. She ignored her own wounds, they were nothing. "I'm sorry." she said. "I can take you to a path where you can find a city." She said looking up at him. She looked to the pack, they to were changing.
She looked to the pack. "This is why Corthax never made it out. Coven betrayed us all. He was to pick us off one by one." she said angered. "Daniel it's not...." she was interrupted. "Lith... He is safer with us" she turned and sighed. "He's fragile. We are only few" she said looking back to Daniel.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel wasn't too sure what exactly was going on... but he looked down at Lith and back at the pack. "I'll be fine... I've had worse before..." he said. "I'll just clean it and wrap it up, it will be alright." he said. It was a deep bite, but he wasn't lying, he has had worse. "Lith... if... if you think we should stay with the pack... I won't argue..." he said. "Besides... they need an alpha... Coven will come back... he will attack and... who knows what would happen..." Daniel said

[Tierra]

"We need to clean that wound fast" She said as two of the other moved behind Daniel. "We will drain the poison, prevent the change" she said ripping some cloth from her top. She took Daniel's arm and ran the cloth against the wound. "I'm sorry" she said again. She moved her lips to the wound and softly licked his blood. "There's poison in the bite but If I get it out fast you will stay the same." she said looking up at Daniel.

[Chaosmazer]

At first Daniel didn't know what was going on... she reminded him. The poison bites... the abilities to change humans. He now knew how urgent it was. He hurried with the, trying to control his heart rate so that the blood wouldn't go too fast. "Don't be sorry... I should have listened... I should have stayed back." he said. "I forgot that a bite could do something like this." he said. She softly licked the wound a bit, but he still flinched slightly. It was starting to hurt.

[Tierra]

She knew the facts had sunk in. Two of her men grabbed his arms and legs and held him tight. She bit him softly and drew his blood from the wound till it tasted clean. She spat his blood out and dressed the wound with her cloth. "I'm sorry" she said again. "We must move away from here, Find alcohol for his wound and a place for us to stay." She announced. "They will carry you" she said to Daniel. "Your body will be weak and you may have a fever. I promise I'll make it better" she said. She knew he was in pain.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel wanted to deny her, show her that he wasn't doing so bad... but he felt it... as she drew his blood out he felt weaker and weaker... he couldn't hardly walk anymore... still he wanted to help in some way... she should blame herself. It was his hotheadedness that caused his bite in the first place. He felt warm... it was sudden... the fever she was talking about... it was starting to come on. He gritted his teeth... Alcohol... something he could probably help with. "In my coat pocked... my inner coat pocket... there is a flask..." he said. "It is a drink... something a friend of mine made up... highly alcoholic... it can serve as either a drink or for cleaning wounds..." he managed to say. The pain was starting to get worse.

[Tierra]

She knew his pain, she had seen it before on the faces of other men. She reached for his flask and found it. She took the lid off and smelt the drink, he was right it was strong. She tipped some onto her cloth and started to clean the wound the rest she made Daniel drink. "This will sting" she said pouring some of the drink on the wound and bandaging it up.
