"I've already seen the beast... remember?" he asked. "I've stayed with you, I've been close to you... you didn't scare me... I don't think you could." he said. "You wouldn't hurt me... I... can defend myself." he said. "I'll be alright." he said.

"I can lose myself to a hunt and if you were there, there would be no way of stopping myself" she said. "I couldn't live with myself... I couldn't knowing I had hurt someone because I let myself go".

Daniel pulled her closer, put his arms around her. "It... is alright... I promise, I won't be around when you lose yourself. I'll make it a point." he said. "Listen... It's alright... I'll be fine. Maybe... I am drawn to you for a reason." he said.

[Tierra]

She lent into his embrace and took a deep breath. "Your right. I'm being silly about this." she said shaking her head a little. "What reason could there be?" she asked looking up at him.

"I don't know..." he said at first. "I mean, I was brought to that place... I think... maybe we were meant to meet like this... maybe... all this was meant to happen... including my feelings right now..." he said. He kissed her once more. "Maybe..." he almost didn't say it. "Maybe I am your mate..."

[Tierra]

She thought about what he said. He kissed her once again and she felt her a warmth in herself. "You make me feel funny" she said with a slight laugh. She looked up at him when he mentioned himself being her mate. "Did you know Wolves mate for life" she said. "I once had a thing with Coven, but he lost himself to the beast and I refused to let him become Alpha, everyone wanted us to be together to see if we could strengthen the bloodlines but I felt nothing with him and yet you have me turned upside down. I feel so curious and drawn to you" she said.

"I've... never loved anyone before." he said. "I mean it... I've never felt anything like this before." he said. "I've not felt passion... only as if people just wanted to use me for one thing or another." he said. "But you... I feel different... much different." he said. He wasn't too surprised about her having something with Coven... he thought he felt something between them.

[Tierra]

"How do you feel?" she asked him. She placed a hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eyes. Something about him made her want to be near him, to be on his arms. She preferred to be with him over Coven. She thought of the pack, they would chose another leader, she wondered who it would be.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel held her in his arms. "I feel... like I want to be with you... like I want to hold you and keep you safe... like I just want to see you and make sure that nothing bad happens to you." he said. "That is how I feel." he finished. "I don't want to be without you."

[Tierra]

"Keep me safe? What about you? I feel like I need to protect you." She said. "You won't be without me for a while" she said looking across at him. "not for a while" she repeated.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel nodded. They would probably separate still after a while... but he didn't know. Hearing how she wanted to protect him, that thought made him happy. The thought that she would be watching out for him.

[Tierra]

"Where are we off to now?" she asked looking ahead. She wanted to get moving away from the nest and the pack even tho she would miss them dearly. She was unsure of what the world would hold for her now she was free.

[Chaosmazer]

There is a town about three days away from here. My friend lives right outside of the town. Daniel said. "It is fairly easy to get to, and you should be safe enough in it. It's small, not much happens there." he said. "We will ask my friend how to destroy this thing, and head off to do that... after that... I don't know."

[Tierra]

She nodded. "As long as I can stay there for as long as we need then it's ok. Hopefully your friend can destroy the medallion. It would make us both feel better knowing it's gone. After that? well... We will just have to take the days as they come and see what happens".

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel nodded... not completely shut down, but still. He thought though. Maybe it was just her charm that made him say those words... maybe he wasn't fully himself at that time. So many things that he did not know for sure. He sighed. "Alright sounds like a plan." Daniel said walking off.

[Tierra]

She knew she had said something wrong. She wished she was normal, she wished she was human, she wished she could lose herself to her human form. She followed him as he walked off. She thought about how she would stop herself from changing. She would find a way to make herself human.

Daniel continued to walk. He thought that he shouldn't have said anything. He should have kept it to himself... things probably wouldn't be the same between the two. Daniel was fairly quiet.

[Tierra]

They were both quiet for some time. She grew frustrated with the silence but still refused to break it. She looked across at him "I'm sorry... If I said something to hurt you..." she just didn't want him to fall for her because of her ability and charm.

[Chaosmazer]

"It's not that... It's just... I don't know myself right now. I don't know if what I said was just because of the charm or..." he stopped himself. "It isn't your fault." he said happy at least someone broke the silence.

[Tierra]

"Maybe I should go for a little. Just so you can think." she said knowing the way he acted could be because of her charm. "It could be my fault." she said looking at the ground then to him.

[Chaosmazer]

"It... isn't..." he said. "I should have a stronger will to resist something like that." he said. "Please though... don't go." he said. "You don't have to leave." he said.

[Tierra]

"You're only human" she said putting a hand on his shoulder. "I can go, only for a little time so you can think. I won't be far away" she said. "I'll be within hearing range.'' She said.

[Chaosmazer]

The word 'only human' seemed to cut like a knife. Even if she didn't mean anything, he felt something from it, as if he wasn't good enough for her. That was how he seen it, even if that wasn't how she meant it. "A-alright..." he said. "Promise?"

[Tierra]

"Yeah I promise" she said brushing his cheek with her hand. She then walked off out of sight, she could still hear him if he needed her. She was going to change form but stayed herself and walked the same direction he did, keeping his smell around her. She wanted to be with him, she wanted to walk with him but she knew she was hurting him. She knew this would happen.

Daniel couldn't see her anymore. He didn't respond to he when she brushed his cheek. He didn't want to torture her nor himself anymore than he already had. Daniel sighed. His head had cleared a bit... but she still remained on his mind.
