Ryota walked to the exit and walked outside. He wasn't surprised that Revelation was there already and he sighed. "Ok well let's get this over with" he muttered. "Do you even know where we're going?" He knew, but he wasn't sure if his partner did, though he was sure the albino did. He pulled his cloak on quickly and buttoned it up. It was still covered in duct tape, and he knew he looked like a retard like that, btu he didn't give a shit.

Revelation glared Ryota, "Yes i know where I'm going." It was right then it hit him that he was...just south of the Grass Country, on it's border with the Fire Country, and he knew exactly where he was going. He started with a quick walk not really wanting to tire himself out even if it would get him there faster. He didn't care if Ryota was following or not, but he couldn't say he really cared now. He just wanted to get this mission over with as fast as he possibly could.

He rolled his eyes at Revelation's words. He really wasn't going to enjoy this mission. . . or any in the near future. . . He started walking after the albino but quickened his stride so that he was matching his pace to Revelation's. Ryota was still quite tired, but walking wasn't hard to do. . . unless he tripped. Which of course just had to happen. He tripped over a thin twig on the ground. . . doing a faceplant in the dirt. He sighed and pushed himself to his feet, cursing under his breath.

Revelation didn't stop when the blonde fell over. Why bother , that was bound to happen eventually, "If you fall behind because your such a clutz I don't care. I'll keep going. " He said as he continued to walk, picking up his pace slightly. He wanted to beat the time Pein had said it would take to get there. He didn't plan on taking many breaks...or none at all if he could help it.

Ryota rolled his eyes. He didn't expect the albino to stop and wait for him. He caught up with Revelation and matched his pace once more. His stomach growled and he sighed. He should have brought some cake with him. He looked at the sky and then back down. He was tempted to make a clay bird and fly all the way there and just wait for Revelation to catch up, but he resisted the temptation. . .for now.

Revelation just kept walking, and walking...and walking he wondered if this littl- er...long journey was ever going to end. He was pretty sure he was walking for about an hour so far. He had completely blocked out Ryota, he didn't want to have to deal with that bastard at the moment. He glanced at the idiot, the sun was getting higher and higher. They were getting farther and farther from the base. He found it actually wasn't that hard to ignore Ryota, so that's what he did. He briefly wondered where they were now but he couldn't see the ocean so he knew there was still along way to go till they were even remotely close.

Ryota walked alongside Revelation, bored out of his mind. He was humming for most of the time they had been travelling, but he was surprised that the albino hadn't done anything about it. He tripped occasionally, but he picked himself up and kept walking. He was used to being clumsy, so it normally didn't phase him that much. Except for the fact that he let out a stream of curses after each time he fell. . . A random spurt of hyperness washed through him and he started twitching madly, trying to think of what to do. "O O O REVELATION REVELATION!!! LET'S HAVE A RACE!!!" he exclaimed, jumping up and down.

Revelation stopped as Ryota yelled at him. A race? A good excuse to be away from the moron, "A race eh? Sounds like a challenge...I doubt you will be able to beat ME but sure why not...first one to Port City then?" he said with an evil smile, he was pretty sure the blonde would agree anyway, but it didn't hurt to make the blonde want to run even more...

Ryota grinned as his partner agreed. He was hard to beat in a race normally, let alone when he was hyper. "Fine" he said with a laugh. He crouched down, ready to run. "On your mark. . . get set. . . GO!" he yelled and started running as fast as he could. His bangs blew back, makign it easier for him to see as he ran, pretty confident that he could get to Port City before Revelation. He didn't know how fast the immortal was however, so there was a possibitly that he would lose. . . but the blonde doubted it. He was a little too self confident sometimes.

Revelataion crouched down as the blonde started his little count down. And once Ryota took off Revelation started to walk, still confident he could beat the moron, it was still a 7 day walk even if you run, he'd probably crash sooner or later...and then Revelation would take his lead, as he usually did.

Ryota glanced back once or twice after he had been running for abit. He couldn't see Revelation and guessed that he was winning, as he knew the albino hadn't passed him. After about twenty minutes of full out sprinting he slowed to a jog, his hyperness wearing off slightly, but not completely.

Revelation had started to speed up even if it was only slightly. He wondered what time it was and when he looked up at the sky, he could tell iit really hadn't been all that much time since they had left. He wondered briefly how far the blonde could have got in the past little while since they started this 'race' and he also wondered if the moron was tired yet. Not yet...no Ryota would probably be hyper for a bit longer then this...So Revelation continued to walk at a nice pace, knowing he had amazing endurance, he would be able to do fine.

Ryota continued to jog for about an hour before his energy was completely zapped. He collapsed face first in the dirt and lay there. The blonde groaned and gasped for breath. He felt as if he could lie there for a month and still be tired. His throat burned, and he had no water, or food for that matter and his stomach growled loudly. He knew someone would probably find him lying there sooner or later, and that wasn't necessarily a good thing as he couldn't defend himself, and most people would know what his cloak meant. He used the last of his energy to drag himself under a bush, though his legs still stuck out into the path he had been taking.

Revelation was trying to pick a time when he thought Ryota would be tired. He looked up at the sky, "Now seems about right..." he said to himself with a small frown, pretty sure the blonde would be exaushted by now. He sighed and broke into a run. He was well known for his speed, but he still didn't know how long it would take for him to be able to catch up to Ryota...they had been out here for at least an hour. He decided to change his route a little and pick a way the blond didn't go. The forest he decided to run through was a little dense, but he could manage, and the blonde would never know if Revelation passed him.

Ryota lay under the bush for awhile before he fell asleep. He knew he would regret that, but at the moment he didn't give a shit. He woke about three hours after that. He dragged himself out from under the bush and looked at the sky. "Oh shit" he muttered, starting to walk. His throat was still dry, and he found a stream so he stopped to get a drink. There was ntohing he could do about food. He looked at the sky again and frowned. He figured that revelation was way past him by now. His frown turned into a smirk. . . they had never agreed that it was to be a race on foot. He made a clay bird and set it on the ground. Making a handsign and muttering 'katsu' made the bird grow. He jumped on it and it took off. He was flying high up in the sky, not wanting to be seen.

Revelation had burst out of the forest onto a path. He looked around...he heard the sound of horses not that far away, heading south. He was going to take this oprotunty to take the lead and keep it. He took off his cloak and threw it in a nearby bush and got down on the ground as some guy on a carriage with two brown horses pulling it came up. The guy stopped and approached the albino, "Are you al-" that was all he could say when Revelation hit him hard enough over the back of the neck to makehim pass out. Revelation smirked at the man on the ground as he pulled his cloak back on and took one of the horses, mounting it before taking off down the road towards the Tea Country, they hadn't made a rule about just racing by foot. He looked up at the sky, Ryota was bound to be back up by now...He swore he saw a little speck in the sky a little farther back...but he made nothing of it as he continued to ride towards the Tea Country.

Ryota searched the ground as he flew. He wasn't able to make out much of what he was seeing but he swore he saw a flash of silver hair and black cloak stealing a horse. he figured he was wrong, as he couldn't see it very well from the altitude he was at. Just in case, he made his bird fly faster, hoping to overtake the person just in case it was Revelation. He kept an eye on the small figure as he flew a bit lower, his blonde hair whipping in his face as he looked at the ground. The figure was more easily distinguishable from the lower height, and he was sure now that it was the man he was racing. He smirked as he pulled ahead, but he kept up his speed.

Revelation wasn't a moron he had clued in that Ryota was following him. He pulled out his gun, wondering how well he would be able to aim on horseback. He waite for Ryota to pull ahead before aiming at the blondes chest and shooting, hoping to hi anywhere from his shoulder to his back. Giving enough room that a chance for error woud be minimal. After that he got the damn animal he was riding to go as fast as it could, he didn't know why but he suddenly really had the urge to beat Ryota at this stupid little race of theres...even though this was still just the first day of the 7 day trip.

Ryota was still watching the albino when he thought he saw him pull his gun out. Knowing Revelation, he wouldn't be surprised, but he didn't do anything. He didn't really think that the bullet could reach him up there, but he was so wrong when he felt the lead enter the middle of his back. He screamed in agony and the bird plummeted towards the ground. He gritted his teeth and pulled the bird up just before it hit the ground and landed about 20 yards in front of Revelation. He fell off of his clay bird and hit the ground, shaking as the blood spilled out of his back. It was a little too close to his heart for his liking.

Revelation frowned, his was more hoping for a shoulder shot. He didn't make the horse stop, just slow slightly as theyapproached Ryota, "Sorry there idiot...don't go dieing,you promised your dad you wouldn't and i don't want your fucked up excuse for a father to come after me for killing you..." He threw his head back and laughed as he got the horse back into a gallop down the road away from the bleeding Ryota.

Ryota glared at the albino as he slowed his horse. "FUCKING ASSHOLE BITCH ASS HO COCKSUCKING MOTHERFUCKER!!!!" he yelled as Revelation galloped away. He pressed the back of his hand against the wound and bit his lip to keep from screaming. He would leave the bullet there for now. . . or forever. . . and he ripped his cloak once more to bandage himself up. He knew he should have packed bandages of some kind but noooo! He just HAD to be stupid and NOT! He dragged himself back onto his now bloodstained clay bird and it took to the sky once more. The simple movement had made him want to kill himself, but he lay on his stomach on the bird, looking at his blood staining the ground as well as he flew along. Revelation was alot farther than him at the moment, and the condition he was in he figured it would stay that way. He was slightly light-headed from the loss of blood, so he wasn't too good at steering his bird. It jerked alot and he almost fell off once or twice as he flew. he had always enjoyed flying but at the moment the only thing he could really think of was following the little dot that was Revelation and trying to ignore the pain, which didn't go too well. . . and not falling off of the bird.

Revelation continued to ride until it was dark and the damn animal he was riding wouldn't stop complaining from the non-stop galloping. He growled angrily, it was getting dark... He got of the horse and walked into the forest until he found a stream and just left the animal there, not really caring at the moment. He took off on foot, hoping to still cover some more ground before it was completely dark out. This time he stuck to the forest.

Ryota sighed as it got dark. It made it harder to follow his partner, though he vaugely saw him head into the forest. "Crap" he groaned. There was no way he could follow now, and he had no idea where he was going. He was dizzy and stiff. . . he hadn't moved since he started flying again so as to minimize the pain in his back. He was fully aware of the blood dripping off of his back and onto the clay bird, occasionally sliding off of that as well. He couldn't really put more of his ripped up cloak on it from the position he was in, and he really didn't want to move. He continued in a straight line. . . or as close as he could gat to straight at the moment. . . hoping that soon he would actually know where the hell he was. Getting lost wasn';t something that happened often, but it had still happened.

Revelation continued to run and he couldn't help but wonder if the blond would have to stop flying that thing to sleep...he hoped so, but he didn't know...all he knew was that there was no way he would lose right now. He ran and ran, hours on end, he wasn't even finding it hard to breath, or breaking a sweat,but it tookmore then just a run through the forest to get that kind of reaction out of him.

Ryota was forced to land his bird about an hour or so after it got dark, not to sleep, it was becuase his vision was getting blurry from the loss of blood. He was finding it hard and harder to stay on the bird, so he landed it and carefully crawled off, wincing at the pain. The bird poofed at his command and became small again so he shoved it in his pocket. Curling in a ball under another bush, he shivered and tucked his very very pale face into his legs to rest. About another hour later he took the blood-soaked peice of fabric off of his bullet wound and tied a fresh peice on, doubled up so that it was thicker. He was weakened immensely by the wound, but what he didn't realize untill awhile later was that he was lying under a blackberry bush. Once he found that out he ate most of them, needing food desperately. The last thing had had eaten was cake. After a few hours of sleep he pulled his clay bird out and made it big again, taking to the skies once more. He wouldn't let himself get THAT far behind, even if he knew Revelation was probably miles farther than him, and he had no idea where the hell he was.
