Lith smiled seeing him with their child "They are beautiful... They have your nose and chin" she said with a smile.

She felt him kneeling behind her. She turned and fell into his arms as the tears streamed down her face.

Daniel looked at them. "Yes... but they have your beautiful eyes." he said. He gave back one of the girls before carefully lifting the other. He looked at them. Such little wonders... miracles... the first shifter children born in a long, long time.

Markus held her tighter. He stayed strong for her. "Do you want to talk about it?" he asked.

Lith looked up at Daniel "come here daddy" she said patting a spot on the bed next to her. She smiled looking at the two gifts they now held "such little things could kick so hard" she whispered as they drifted off to sleep.

Mera held him close "I... I lost a child... A boy like Lith's..." she said quietly through the tears.

Daniel looked to the girls as he sat down. He put the one he was holding gently next to Lith. "They must have our strength." he said with a little laugh. He was quiet though. "Love... how are you... do you need anything?" he asked her. He stroked her hair lightly. She had been through a lot.

Markus held her tightly. He figured that was what was bothering her. He kissed her lightly before holding her once more. "It wasn't your fault..." he said softly. "This time, nor last time..." he said. "It... isn't fair though..." he said. "How life takes things from people... loved ones..." he said.

"They must, they have enough strength to scream like a banshee" she said with a laugh "Don't fuss over me Daniel" she said resting her head on him "I just need a little rest" she said. "You should inform the brothers" she said.

She kissed him softly even though her salty tears had run over her lips. "I didn't even hear him cry" she said "Still born... life is never fair... that's the shifter way... but he is with lupa now" she said getting up and cleaning her face with her sleeve.

Daniel stroked her hair once more before reluctantly leaving her side. "Alright... but I'm coming back right after... I want to see you and the girls again..." he said kissing her once more. He was going to inform them all... they were going to have some new little pups running around.

Markus stood with her as she did. Her tragic story... she never even heard her child. He felt so bad for her... he wanted to help, but he couldn't do anything, except be there for her. He kissed her lightly. "We will live on though... even if it isn't fair... we will find a way." he said.

"Hurry back love" she said with a smile as she cradled the girls.

Mera took a deep breath "Yes we will..." she said as she walked back into the house and up to Lith.

Lith's smile faded fast "You've been crying.." she said "Can't fool an old shifter like me. Come hold your god children... I want you and Markus to be guardians" she said with a smile.

((This is going to be my last post for the night, got to get some sleep, lol))

Daniel ran back the the pack to inform them of the good news. The pack congratulated him and they seemed happy to have some children around to brighten things up.

Markus walked in with Mera. He looked to the children... how beautiful they looked, He smiled happily... then he heard the good news. He was awestruck. They were to be the godparents? He smiled. "T-Thank you... so much..." he said.

[Tierra]

Lith smiled "I know and trust you two will look after them as if they are your own, I know and trust you will protect them with your lives.." Lith said "and I know and trust you will love them" she said softly kissing the children's heads. "Mera can you please take them for a moment... Find somewhere we can sleep them" she said.

A few of the pack members wanted to come back to see the child, Daniel had to refuse that... too much excitement too soon wouldn't have been that good. He sighed returning to the home... They were all happy for them. The pack got a little bigger that day.

Markus listened... she was right... they would cherish the children. He smiled... he was a godfather now...

[Tierra]

"Where's Daniel" Lith said as Mera took the children and lay them in two baskets full of blankets. "I want to have some rest but if you could send him in I would be happy".

Mera smiled "Looks like we will need to go baby shopping Lith" she said laughing at the temporary beds they had made.

Daniel walked into the home after a few more moments, after he had completed his task he went to do, the pack knew now... He looked down at Lith. "They know now... the pack is all happy for you." he said. He sat down next to her and stroked her hair. "I love you..." he said. "So much..." he said. He looked to the children... the baskets that they were in. He was happy, it wasn't perfect, but it would work.

[Tierra]

Mera smiled "Rest well. If you need anything at all, if they need anything get Daniel to come collect us. We will just be with the pack" Mera said guesting to Markus they should leave and give the new parents some space.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel put his arm around her, holding her lightly. Watching as Markus and Mera left he kissed her lightly, sitting in the bed with her. "How does it feel?" he asked. "How are you doing?" he asked again. "Two newborns... the first shifters in a long time and you are the mother..." he said stroking her hair.

[Tierra]

She rested her head on his chest "Mera says 'll need a few days in bed" she said "I'll be ok my love. You fathered two shifters and both are girls we will have to watch the pack" she said with a laugh.

Mera's eyes widened as they walked back to the pack, they were drinking and dancing some as shifters some as humans. "Oh my" she said with a smile "Someone's excited" she said.

[Chaosmazer]

Daniel cuddled her. "Just relax then..." he said. "Yeah... as they get older... I'll keep my eyes on them. Make sure they at least find someone... someone who is good." he laughed. "Make sure they don't bring home some little human like their mother..." he teased.

Markus laughed I guess so, it is something to celebrate... the first shifters in a long time." he said.

((I have to go for the night... class tomorrow... I should have gone to sleep a little earlier, lol.))

[Tierra]

She closed her eyes "Yes Sir" she said. "They better not bring home some scrawny Human from some dirty old dungeon." she said with a laugh. "Stay with me" she said taking his hand before she started to fall asleep.


"Yeah, come on" she said holding her hand out "Have one on me" she said with a crooked smile "I make a mean Margarita".

((No worries, I just have to worry about not getting sick in class... I think I'm coming down with something))

Daniel nodded, seeing her start to fall asleep. He held her hand and stroked her face lightly. "I won't leave you for anything..." he said. He made himself comfortable next to her. "Rest..." he said.

Markus smiled back. "Sounds good." he said. It was a night of celebration... something good has happened, they deserved some happiness...

Mera smiled walking to the pack "Twin girls aye" she said as she was congratulated for delivering the babies. "I need a drink something fast.... ABSINTH" she said with a wild smile tonight she would party till the early hours of the morning.

Markus laughed. He found drinks for them, the typical drinks that the pack had. He handed one to Mera and smiled. "Drink it down, this night isn't over until we say it is." he said giving her a smile. He then drank down the alcohol.

Mera laughed seeing one of her favorite drinks, Absinth on fire with a sugar cube above. She blew out the fire and downed the drink fast licking her lips. "Amen to that" she said seeing his heart stopping smile she lent in and kissed him.

Markus kissed her back. After watching her down that drink, he wondered how it tasted. He would have to try it in a moment. Markus deepened the kiss, loving the moment. A moment of celebration. He found one off the drinks that she downed... he blew out the fire and drank it fast, like she did. It did taste pretty good to him.

[Tierra]

She put her arms around his neck as hey kissed deep in the moment of celebration. She laughed and gave a smile seeing him find one of her drinks and downing it also. "Good?" she asked.

((I wanted to ask you something, would you like to join another rp group? I have one that is in need of more active members. We are going to be starting a Saga rp soon and we don't have many people who are up for it.))

"Very good..." he said looking down at her. "And the drink wasn't bad either." he said squeezing her lightly. "Mmm... this is a fun night so far." he said with a laugh. He was feeling a little buzz so far.

She laughed "Let's dance" she said taking his hand as some of the civilians played some music. She swayed her hips and she spun and danced for Markus.
