Even though she was now free of the chains she highly doubted she would go anywhere, for one she didn't have clothes to protect her skin, she didn't know where she was at, and frankly traveling in the sun for more then a few hours may end up killing her. The little girl guided Raven through the ruins of the Main house. It was mostly intact with broken windows here and there and a couple holes as well. Down some stairs and to what had been the kitchen the little girl took her. Here the little girl finally spoke. "There is a chest over there with some clothes in it. Mostly men's clothing. To big for me." she said. "Why did that man keep you chained up? Are you a slave?" she asked, as she put some kindling in the fire place and lit it then put some wood in on top.

Dante mean while had found the trail once more. An odd shaped cut in the right wheel of the cart had finally shown up and he began to follow it. He grinned at the anticipation of beheading the fool lycan that had kidnaped Raven.

Glancing at the child again she shrugged as she went over to the chest, '' no i am not a slave, held against my will maybe.. but not an actual slave. The little girl sat down on a chair as Raven rummaged through the chest. "No where else to go." she told Raven. She looked to be about ten years old. "My parents died during the war and no one comes around here any more, well until you and that man." When asked if she knew where they were. "This is the old castle Dun Argos in the Kingdom of Morian. You know the one that kills all vampires."

Morian where the king had taken it upon himself to purge the world of all vampires. He trained hunters that would go out and hunt them down in the world, supplying them with weapons and supplies and refuge from other Kingdoms that might tolerate such creatures.

Jacob woke up and found Raven gone from the bed and the manacles laying on the bed. He cursed and quickly got dressed. He knew she couldn't have gotten far with out clothes and on foot. He looked out the window to see if he could spot her anywhere. But he could not, but he did see a lone rider heading their way. He cursed again. It could only be Dante and he was not ready to fight him, not yet. Grabing his important things and throwing them into a leather bag, He ran down the stairs and out to the stable. He couldn't use the cart, so he grabbed his horse and lead it out. Mounting up he left through a rear entrance and out into the forest.

frowning she got up and headed straight for one of the windows, watching as jacob took off on his horse, arching a brow she sighed and shook her head , she was now stuck out here. narrowing her eyes she spotted another lone rider, unsure of who it was she ducked away from the window, glancing around she swore, wondering where jacob had stashed her weapons. she didn't see them on him when he took off on the horse so she figured they where somewhere in this broken down castle.. '' girl , do you know where he may have stashed my weapons?" she glanced at the girl again, moving away from the window. '' i need my weapons. seems my friend decided to leave me here. ''

Dante rode till he saw the castle up on the hill. He stopped for a few minutes to survey the area. The place looked deserted, and here and there he could see the scars of fire on the stone walls. Looking down he saw the tell tale mark of the cart he had been tracking. It lead up to the castle. His fangs elongated as he thought of what he was going to do to the kidnapper. Spurring his horse forward he slowly approached the deserted castle. It evidently did not hold any military advantage any more, or it would not be abandoned.

Crossing the drawbridge, his horses hoofs making a clattering sound that echoed through out the area, he drew his sword and looked around. He slowly dismounted and walked towards the main house. Every thing was quiet.

The little girl disapeared for a few minutes then returned. "A man on a big black horse has arrived. He looks angry and has a sword." she told Raven.

'' she muttered, not even realizing who it was yet, darting past the child, she headed to where she thought the door used to be, finding it she slowly worked it open to peer out. it took her a moment to recognize the horse, and even then she wasn't sure, glancing towards the man she narrowed her eyes before relaxing completely.. atleast it was no bloody hunter that was for sure. though she remembered what jacob had said about him, making her cautious a little before just shoving that aside and practically ran out the door, she was quick on her feet, easily reaching dante quick enough and nearly slammed into him as she wrapped her arms around him. '' bloody time you got here. '' she knew she probably wasnt looking her best but really didn't care, she wanted to go home, have a hot bath, lots of sleep and lots of food.

Dante heard the door open slightly and he readied himself for an attack. But it was not a lycan that came flying out the door, but Raven. She looked disheaveled and tired. She thre her arms around him and he placed his free arm about her. But he senced another presence and pushed her behind him as he faced the door to the main house, his sword ready. "It took a bit of time to track your captor. He is a wily one, I will give him that." He answered her. "Is he still in the castle?" he asked her.

'' she glanced towards the forest again, wondering how far jacob actualy got. '' that is unless you want to go and chase him down but i am pretty sure he is pretty much gone right now.''

Dante raised a brow. So the kidnapper had run off and left Raven. The lycan was not dumb. Dante would have to keep an eye out for that one. He foresaw trouble ahead with this lycan. Cleaver, smart, and fast made for a big pack of trouble. At the mention of a little girl that had helped her escape he cocked his head a bit to one side. "Well I would like to meet this little one." he told raven and began walking towards the main house.

A couple miles away, a group of men rode along the rode towards the castle. They were heavily armed and wore medallions that proclaimed them as hunters.

she shifted from foot to foot, glancing around cautiously , she was definitely nervous, didn't like being out in the open especially in this part of the country '' i think you should make it quick. i was already told this is an area that people love to kill vampires.. they are not very fond of them and i really have no idea what they will do to a bloody half vampire.'' she muttered. reaching up slightly to pet his horse. '' she is inside, i don't know if she is hiding or not. ''

she would stay out here, in case she needed to give him a warning if any trouble arose. leaning against the horse she glanced towards the woods again, pulling the hood up a little more to cover herself. her ears where definitely picking up something but only because every one of her senses where in a hyper state, a reaction to her being severely hungry.

"You had best be going." Came the little girls voice, "Hunters are coming this way." Then there was silence. Dante looked at Raven, "Hunters?" His kind was not welcome anywhere. The vampires of the day were not like Dante and alot of them killed their prey, not caring what effect it would have on the general populace. Some thought that it would put fear in them of vampires and they could do as they please. But it only made the people seek help to rid them of the vampires.

Dante went over a map of the area in his head. It seemed he had crossed the border into the next kingdom and there he knew Hunters were trained and were everywhere making sure there were no vampires around. "Yes I think we had best be going. Though both he and Raven could pass as normal people, being able to be out in the light of the sun during the day, he thought it best to get back home as quickly as possible.

He lifted Raven up into the saddle and then mounted up behind her. "I think we need to find you some one to feed upon. You look as if you are in need of blood."

she frowned, glancing around as she heard the little girl before blinking in surprise as Dante lifted her up and placed her on the saddle before climbing up behind her. closing her eyes she leaned against him and sighed, giving a slight snort when he said something about her needing to feed'' you have no idea. i think i can hold off till we get back home though, don't need to give these bloody hunters any reason to try and kill me. '' she shifted a little before relaxing again , knowing damn well that she wouldn't even be able to protect herself very well if they where caught, though she knew dante could do pretty well himself.

Dante turned his horse tothe gate of the castle and dug his heels in to the horses flanks. It leap forward and made a hurried exit from the castle. He headed his horse back the way he had come as fast as he could. But it was not fast enough. The group of hunters topped a hill and saw the two riding hard away from the abandoned castle. It had long been thought that it had been the center of demon worship and a lair of vampires.

The group of hunters urged their mounts into a full gallop and started the pursit of Dante and Raven. One raised a horn to his lips and blew. The sound of the horn carried for miles and was answered by another ahead of Dante and Raven. Dante heard the horns and had a feeling what was happening. Turing the horse into a new direction, he brought him to a stop and dismounted. "He will not be able to out run them with the two of us. Go and return to the Manor House and bring help. I should be alright here. I can blend in with the people about here." He knew Raven was in no condition to fight and would probably wind up dead if they had to fight. He moved up to the horses head, "Home boy with great haste." then he smacked the black horse's flank and it took off.

raven frowned as she watched him get off, confused'' what? no way dante i don't even have a bloody clue where the hell we are at'' she knew the name of the land but the fact on how to get there or even to get back to dante's place was beyond her. she never traveled this far for a pretty good damn reason at that. She didn't even get a chance to climb off the horse before he had him taking off again. Acting quickly to keep from falling off the horse she grabbed for the horses mane, sinking her fingers in its strands to hold on tightly as she snatched the reigns again, though knew the horses wouldn't stop once given an order by dante. She was really beginning to get pissed at all men at the moment. She just hoped he was right about blending in with the other people.

By the time she had reached his home, she was more tired then anything, bloody sore, from the rough traveling and more hungry then before. quickly sliding off the horse she had to hold onto the saddle a moment to regain her balance before running inside, going straight for damion's room since she knew he would be able to help. he had after all given her a hard time when she was requested to catch him so knew his skills where good.

getting into his room easily she flicked the lights on, ignoring chaffon's squeak of surprise as she went over and pretty much shoved Damion out of the bed, ignoring their nude state she tossed clothes at him'' get up horn dog.. and pack for a long travel.. your bed toy stays here.. '' she was definitely not in a good mood. moving out of the room, she nearly ran over dante's butler, thankfully the man had been smart enough to bring a bottle of the blood she had seen dante' drinking from before. muttering a small thanks to him she snatched the bottle and had it completely empty in a matter of seconds as she went to her room, getting a quick bath and getting dressed again, making sure to grab her other weapons. the blood helped though she was still tired, it would take time for her to get her full strength back. not wanting to waste any more time she headed back down the stairs already shouting at damion again'' move it damion. in a bit of a hurry.''
