"Good girl..." he said as she came with him. "Not a dog you say? Hmm... but you will obey my every command..." he said with a little smile. "In time anyways..." he sounded happy actually... the kind Clause that she once knew... the one that saved her some time ago was no more... this one... he seemed cruel... mean... selfish... what caused it... was it the demon blood starting to show it's true form... the years of being enslaved... he was never able to be his true self... now he was...

"Come here girl... Master is going to fly you away from this place... again..." he said. "They will send people... but it won't matter... one by one... your friends will die..." he said.

What Clause didn't know... was that the link of enslavement took time to fully manifest... it would take five years time for her to be completely enslaved... by then the link would be unbreakable... however... until then... the link could be shattered... both of them were still mortal until it fully manifested...

"No, I'm not a dog. Dogs sniff each other's asses and rely on humans to take care of them. Wolves are all independant..." she snapped at him, "You might have fooled me, but I'm not going to let you kill my friends." Riley told him. Once they were out of the apartment building, she made a run for the building where she... formerly... worked. Once there, she'd be able to get the device removed. As she ran, everything in her body and mind was telling her to turn around and go back to Master. However, she remained to be her often stubborn self, and pushed herself forward as quickly as she could. Her apartment was not close enough to work for her to make it there before Clause caught up, or even, before he could think up a spell to punish her with, but she was trying. She just had to make it through the entrance doors...

Clause smiled... he contacted her mentally. "Oh fine... go say your goodbyes..." he said to her. "But remember... Master orders you not to say where you are going... or why..." he said to her. "You don't want to disobey your Master... do you? Oh... and since you don't want to be a dog... I guess I can call you Little Wolf then... Wolfie was getting old..." he said to her. He dug up something in her mind... he knew that she wouldn't like that name...

Riley growled under her breath when he actually called her Little Wolf. She should have known that would turn up at some point. "Fine." she thought back to him, continuing to run until she got to the Directorate. She continued running, even once inside, and flipped the bird at anybody who tried to I.D. her as she passed through to the basement levels. "Jack!" she yelled as soon as she opened the stairwell door that lead into the halls where Jack's office was. "Jack!!" she yelled louder, stopping when she found him talking on the phone to somebody, with Rhoan in his office as well.

Rhoan looked up, "Got rid of that damn demon yet?" he asked, though looking annoyed, as if he knew the demon wouldn't go away that easily.

"I have to get rid of the tracking device. You need to take it out for me." Riley said, walking into the office, literally standing right infront of Jack while he was still on the phone. Jack could already tell she had an urgent issue. "I can't say why. Just do it."

Jack hung up the phone without another word, then told her, "You know I can't do that. Unless you're resigning, then I-"

"Then I resign." she said slowly, exchanging worried looks between Rhoan and Jack, Jack and Rhoan. "I'm... going on vacation to someplace that doesn't allow electronics..." she lied, though knowing they wouldn't take it as an answer. She could tell that they could tell this all had to do with that demon.

"We'll catch him, Riley. Just take a seat." Rhoan stood, walking over to her.

After about an hour of arguing, Jack finally removed the device, and any other chips that she had in her for work safety's sake. "For the last time, Riley Jenson..." Jack was just about ready to snap now. "Where the hell are you going?"

"Out of town." she said, though not even knowing where was really was going, so she couldn't answer anyway. Just from the way she was acting, and not saying anything, Jack and Rhoan could tell this was because of Clause. They knew that she would be with him. Either way, she made her way back out of the building, though taking her time on her way out. Once she finally stepped outside, she took in a deep breath, then looked around to see if Clause was anywhere nearby.

Clause was sitting on a bench, just waiting for her... "Good girl... now come... lets go... I'm thinking... Maybe Germany... or Spain... somewhere that they won't find us so easily." he said "Well... where would you like to go Little Wolf?" he asked her. He then sent a message into her mind. "I wonder how long it will take to break you... make you so obedient... you will do whatever I ask without question..." he said to her. "How long do you think Little Wolf?" he asked. "Hmm... it will be fun..." he said once more with a smile.

"Spain is supposed to be a fun place..." Riley answered, only having heard rumour that it's just one big party country. "They're not going to find us. They can try, but I'm making sure that they don't. Not for your sake, but for theirs." she told him, looking back at the entrance doors just as Rhoan came crashing out. "At this rate," she said, running off away from Rhoan, knowing Clause could catch up and pick her up as he flew. "you're never going to break me. I'm unbreakable, Clause. Wild." she had to run as fast as her legs would carry her, knowing Rhoan would easily catch up if she didn't. This had to be the hardest thing for her to do. Running away from the only man on this earth who would never dare harm her. If they didn't get away from this city now, Rhoan would make sure that they never did.

Clause looked back to Rhoan... giving him an evil smile... knowing exactly what he was doing... he seemingly taunted the man... taking his only sister from him... he would never see her again if Clause had his way. He seen her take off... Flying to catch up with her, he grabbed her and lifted her off of the ground easily. "Spain it is then..." he said with a wicked smile. "Lucky for them... but they will try..." he said. "And you will have the pleasure of killing whomever they send... and you say that now... that you are unbreakable... but... you have a long time ahead of you to be my little slave... eventually you will give in... and serve me as best as you can..." he said with a little smile. "I can be a kind master... or I can be a very cruel master..." he said.

I will find you, sister. Rhoan thought to Riley, knowing that he would never give up until his sister was safe. He stopped running, watching them until distance killed visibility. Unfortunately for him, he had heard Clause say something about Spain as he lifted Riley off the ground. He went back inside without another word, and began his research on Spain.

"I'll be saying it until I finally figure out how the hell to break this bond. I ain't no demon, so I can easily survive without a bond of some sort." she told him, hoping she'd figure it out before Rhoan found her. "I don't care what you do to me. You'll never make me kill my own brother." she snapped, forcing herself to not look down at the ground. As much as she wanted to throw up all over Clause, she knew it would be wise to avoid such actions.

Clause looks down to her, laughing lightly. He was as rebellious as she was when he was first enslaved... but he fell in line for a while at least... however, her will was strong... but he would break her... turn her into a perfect slave... her body was beautiful... maybe he could find a use for it once she submitted to him. He couldn't impregnate her, but it would teach her how to be a good slave.

Clause looked down at her... "You know it won't last long..." he said. "Until you fully submit to me..." he said, though he had doubts in his own words. "There is no way to break this bond... no way that you will be capable of..." he says, still not sure in his words... but he doesn't let her know.

"Just like how there was a way to break the bond between you and your former master, there has to be a way to break the bond between us." she said, no longer saying anything on the topic. "Can't we take the train?" she asked him, holding onto his torso tightly. Even though she didn't expect him to drop her, the height between her and the ground made her nervous all the same. Just because she couldn't die... or at least, thought that she couldn't die... it didn't make her any more comfortable with lack of solid ground touching her feet.

"The train?" he asked her. "Well... I guess we can... but only if you are good..." he says landing near a station and went to get them tickets. "You know... you will be happy... if you just let your mind go... obey everything your master has to say... you will be happy..." he said stroking her hair. "You are strong, beautiful and smart... you would make a good slave if you were just a bit more relaxed..." he says to her in her mind.

"Yeah. The train. I'll be a whole lot more easy going if I'm on the ground." Riley said, following him where ever he went, though still being casual about it. She swatted his hand away when he stroked her hair, only because she didn't usually let anybody stroke her hair. It was degrading to her, and anything that she felt was degrading, she absolutely hated. She then responded to him by speaking into his mind, "Thank you thank you, but calling me a slave is the last thing you want to do if you want my complete co-operation. As you've probably already figured out, I'm a stubborn bitch. So, why don't you just keep acting like you're my friend instead of my master, and we'll get along just fine..." She didn't expect him to act anything like a friend. Seeing as, she still wouldn't do everything he wanted her to, no matter how he acted around her. Unfortunately her Riley, the only way she'd listen was if she were punished whenever she didn't.

Once she swatted his hand away, he listened to her, he smiled as he sent a jolt of pain through her body. "And you will find that your co-operation would be a lot less painful for you." he says in her mind. "I offered you love... and you spit in my face... it was an honest mistake... it might have been subconscious... maybe I once harbored feelings for you... but it was rejection all the same." he says in her mind. "We could have lived happily... I could have been a good mate for you... but no..." he said. "This is your fate... deal with it... or you will be facing a lot more pain in the near future." he says. He puts a hand on her side, leading her with him onto the train. "So get comfortable... because if you don't start obeying me... things will be getting a lot worse for you before it gets better."

"With you, I only wanted friendship." she snapped at him aloud, "The man I'll live happily ever after with, is a werewolf. Not a demon." she said, even after he sent a jolt of pain through her body. She shook it off, glad that it was only jolts of pain, rather than a continuous pain. She walked with him onto the train, but as soon as they found a booth, she sat away from him. Luckily, they were first class passengers, so they had a room all to themselves. "As I've said.. No matter what you do to me, there's nothing that will make me kill my own brother." she crossed her arms and leaned up against the seat, tucking her legs in close to her as well. "I wouldn't even count on making me kill my friends." she could probably put up with killing a couple of them, but she'd never be able to kill her brother. She'd rather have her head sawed off a thousand times before she'd do that.

Clause stayed silent. "It looks like then... it's time for your first treatment... this whole ride will be spent in pain for you... the same pain that I went through my whole life." he says. "And how do you know this man?" he asked her. "A werewolf... so you have a particular man in mind?" he asked. Shadows started to gather around in the room... nobody would hear her... her screams would be silent when he decided it was time for her torment.

Riley sat up, looking at him, then the shadows, then him again... "I don't know who exactly he is yet.." she explained, hoping he was just kidding around about the whole ride being spent in pain. From where they were coming from in Australia, Spain had to be at least a few days, if not weeks away by train. "I've always wanted to have a werewolf mate. It's just in my nature to want werewolf children." she said, still watching the shadows, trying to lean away from them, not knowing what they were used for, or what he was about to do. "Seeing as I'm mostly werewolf and all..."

Clause looks to her, knowing full well how long the trip would be. "You will be given a rest every night... so I can check on you... see if you are more willing to cooperate... if you are... your period of torment might be lessened..." he says. "I don't think you are ready for a continuous torment... but... until night falls will be plenty long..." he says, completely disregarding anything about her having a mate. The shadows closed in around her... she would feel weightless... yet paralyzed... completely in pain... unable to escape... unable to scream. Clause stood and locked the doors... putting a do not disturb sign on their car. He sits back and takes out a book relaxing.

She felt the cold of the shadows, closing in around her. Riley lay down on the bench, feeling her body go limp when the shadows completely surrounded her. Not even a moment between moments, and the pain settled in, exploding throughout her entire body. It seemed that it hurt so much, she couldn't even scream. Bound to shadows, she listed all of her reasons, and all of her excuses for being so stubborn. Stubborness had gotten her here, laying on this bench in complete pain, and not being able to do a thing about it. She wanted it to end immediately, like the jolts of pain that she got before. However, she could tell that he was serious on his words.

So, since she was so cute at times, she decided to see how he'd react to a human. She would have caught the mind of one of the passers by, and made them come in to tell Clause to let Riley free, if the pain wasn't so intense. The pain took away all thought, except for thoughts about how much she hated Master, and how much the shadows hurt her. Even just attempting to catch one of the humans that passed by their car, made the pain even worse. Soon, her breathing became more shallow, and she couldn't help but freak out when she couldn't do so much as open her mouth to scream. She didn't want another day of this... but at the same time... maybe all she needed to do was... play along.

Clause smiled to himself a bit satisfied... however, he would know if she was sincere or not in her words... playing along wouldn't help... the link between them would let him know how obedient she would truly be... something his old master never picked up on. Reaching out would be fruitless... she couldn't concentrate enough anyways... and if a human came by... well... he could easily silence them... he sent words into her mind. 'Obey... obey... just obey me...' he says to her. 'Obeying me is good... it will make the pain go away...' he says to her. 'You will feel good again, once you just obey..." he says before going back to his book. 'If you obey... this won't happen so often... just surrender... completely, be a good little pet... you won't be hurt again..."

The words seemed to get to her, but she couldn't concentrate enough to send a mental white flag. Riley couldn't stand much of this pain anymore, despite what she had said earlier. She just wanted it to stop. Everything had to get worse before it got better, and she knew that. She put in what effort she could into sending him a mental picture of a white flag, and the words "Ok. Fine." it was all she could manage right now, but even then, the message was staticy. She could only hope that he would see it.

Clause could see it fully, he laughed, seeing her give up already. He sent a message back. "You have been bad... you need to be punished... maybe when you start being a good pet... this won't happen again..." he said. "Once the sun goes down... you will be free... though I doubt you will have much strength left by then. Just remember... obey... be a good pet... and this won't happen..." he said. "See you in a few hours..." he said before ignoring everything she would have to say... once the sun set... he would let her go.

She wasn't used to this kind of pain. She wasn't used to not even being able to move while in so much pain, seeing as she's never experienced it before. Also, Riley did not enjoy any kind of pain as it was, so to hear that she was going to be put through this the whole day, even after she surrendered... well... it drove her mad. She was glad it was only a few more hours to sunset... She just had to remember that she had surrendered so that it doesn't happen anymore... She definately did not want this happening for the full sixteen hours of daylight the next day.

As soon as she noticed the darkness settling in, and the interior lights of the train automatically turning on, she sent a mental message to master, "Let me go now?" she asked, though she was much weaker than before, so it probably sounded like a little whisper to him. She repeated herself a couple more times, hoping then that she would get a response.

Clause looked up at her, a little grin, hearing her ask to let her go... it was time... he kept his word. Making the shadows disappear. The pain would leave her instantly. "There... just remember... you will go through that... even longer if you are bad, understand?" he said, his voice calm and even. "I can be kind... but only if you obey me... but if you do not... this will happen again..." he says. "Look how cute my little pet looks when she is so weak..." he said with a little smile, reaching over and brushing her hair lightly.

When the shadows finally disappeared, her breathing slowed, and she just wanted to run out of the room right then. Just to enjoy the time she had without the pain. However, Riley didn't even have the strength to swat his hand away this time, so she wasn't about to go anywhere. "I understand." she said quietly, looking at the floor when she responded. She curled up where she was on the bench, and closed her eyes. She had forgotten that she actually liked it when guys played with her hair. She had been just so caught up in hate that she didn't seem to remember anything else. She didn't even respond to his remark about her looking cute when she's so weak. She was just laying down, enjoying the lack of pain, and only paying attention to him brushing her hair lightly.

Clause smiled lightly, brushing through her hair a bit more, feeling how soft it was. She couldn't do anything to stop him. "Master can be kind..." he said, moving, sitting next to her. "I'll take care of you... I can make you feel good... or bad... I have control over you... just remember that... you will be alright..." he says keeping his voice calm, now petting her. "Just rest..." he says. "Master will protect you..." he says. "My pet... my Little Wolf..." he says before he gets quiet...
