she squeaked again when he lifted her up and ran , giving another delighted laugh she shook her head'' you sure like carrying me, i am not crippled you know.. '' she teased, when the streamers came into view, her eyes went wide.. '' oh my.. '' squirming a little in his arms to get him to put her down she glanced around.. '' wow.. '' she was now wondering who set up the whole thing, getting more excited she looked up at him.'' definitely like this surprise.''

zane smiled and took her hand. " the whole village has been planning this for you and all the other pregnant women. they wanted me to get you out of town for a couple hours so they could set up."

she smiled'' well that is definitely a huge surprise.'' she teased, leaning against him a little before walking through the town, she spotted several of the other pregnant women, they where definitely glowing and happy, she had never seen most of her people this happy before, it definitely made her feel good. '' you know. think krista may be pregnant.. haven't gotten the nerve yet to ask, but i know her ... well her scent changed a little. its usually how we tell when our female wolves are with child. just that small subtle change. ''

zane piques an eyebrow. " one of my guards pregnant and not telling me. i dont think so, not unless its with one of the forbidden. though krista is to smart to go for one of them." zane mused.

she frowned slightly '' thought krista was with someone, you said so yourself earlier today. you told her to go take her frustration out on him. '' she grinned. '' maybe she doesn't know yet.. probably in the waaaay early stages i guess, considering i have seen her eat and she is not throwing up left and right. well.. not yet atleast.. ''she frowned.. '' alright, which ones are the forbidden ones?"

"she is married to my brother, yes, but he is... infertile. so if she is pregnant she had to have slept with someone of the white guild. they used to live among us until they decided that they should be ruling, not my family. they are beautiful beyond comparison and can have anyone they want. if they got to her, she may be in trouble." zane replied.

she frowned, she didn't think Krista would do that, especially if it got her in trouble. '' huh. gee what do they do , hypnosis or something?'' that was definitely giving her a headache to think on, she liked krista, she was good friends with her and didn't want anything to happen.. '' ummm . stupid question but if your brother every wanted to have kids or something with her, would err... someone donate umm services? so to speak. sorry bit confusing, trying to figure it out. ''

" they dont use hypnosis per-say, their voice is as smooth as honey, and makes you believe anything they say. if they ran into her when she was alone they could have convinced her that she was married to one of them and that my family was evil. or they could have used her for information." zane replied. " and yes i will donate for him so that he can have children."

she arched a brow'' uh huh, don't know if i should be jealous of that.. .but was wondering if anyone else would have done it.. just so they could have atleast one kid.. '' she shrugged'' how would you find out if she had been... used by the white guild?" her attention got side tracked a moment when a few of the young children came running up giggling before lightly placing their little hands on her belly , wanting to feel the baby, apparently they got a kick out of that. '' oi , no tickling you .'' she teased, laughing slightly when a few of them squealed when the baby had kicked, before they ran off again from being called by their mothers.. '' definitely need something for them to do.''

she frowned before sighing as he kissed her cheek'' yea i know .. ..i am a wolf though remember.. really don't understand... most of what you do. though i try. '' she looked up at him and sighed'' well suppose we can do that later.. i want to enjoy the baby shower. '' she had already seen alot of baby clothing, but since she had no idea what the gender was she really didn't know what to get so far.

zane just smiled and handed zyanya his money purse. "go wild hun. the men are ushered to the palace til the shower is over. we arent allowed here. "

she frowned, looking up at him, though she was definitely wanting to go and get stuff. '' well alright, but no clothing just yet, have no idea on the gender and i don't want to accidentally get wrong clothing, '' she wasn't a big spender well not by much but when it comes to her first child , she may actually spoil the kid. well she would try not to anyways. '' well what are you going to do while i am here and looking around?"

"oh the guys are having out own... baby shower. so im going to attend that." zane replied before running off so zyanya couldnt question him anymore. she wouldnt be happy that the guys were throwing him a party, like a bachelor party but alot more naked women.

she frowned, watching as he ran off, the fact that he took off let her know it was most likely something that had naked women or some other thing in it that she wouldn't like, wondering if she should be mad about that she sighed before deciding to worry about it later, she trusted him to keep his hands to himself. if there was naked women though , she wouldn't trust them.

Going through the baby shower was definitely exciting, she found several things that she liked, including baby blankets, don't matter on the color of them, as long as it kept the child warm, she also found a few unique toys and few other things, she mostly just looked things over while chatting with several of the women some who where pregnant others who where not even with anyone, single still but wanted to ask zyanya how it felt to having a mate and what not.

By midnight she was tired and ready to sleep, taking her purchases with her , Krista helping as well, they headed back to the palace, Krista chatting away about the events while zyanya was lost in her own thoughts for a while before realizing they where now inside and at her room, still no sign of zane she frowned, wondering how long his own get together was going to last. Sending krista home she put things away before washing up and changing into her light sleep wear before relaxing on the bad, absently rubbing her belly again as her thoughts once again went to zane and then krista, hoping krista hadn't some how managed to get herself in trouble without even knowing it.

zane stared absent mindedly at the girl in front of him. yes she was pretty and had alot of talent, but she just wasnt... attractive to him. "im leaving guys. this really isnt my cup of... whatever, im leaving." zane said going to the dancers nest. it was only about 5 in the evening and he knew zyany would still be busy. when he got to the nest he practiced every dance he knew and then was shown some new dances by the men of the nest. after he did that, he went down to the lower level of the nest to research about C'Jarsa. "how am i to approach her for help if i know nothing about her." he explained to one of the dancers who led him down. after the dancers left him alone he started to read, and eventually fell asleep reading all of the flowing text.

She tried to stay up as much as she could but it didn't take long for her to fall asleep, curled up in the bed, and as far as she knew zane had never come back in. It was mid morning by the time she woke up again, only due to the fact that she really had to relieve her self and was extremely hungry. Quickly taking care of things that needed to be done she got dressed, a little annoyed that Zane never came to bed, though she was sure most would just chalk it up to her hormones being out of wack and her being pregnant.

Skipping food for now she moved up and down the different hallways, trying to figure out where she would find zane, she nearly ran the medic over who apparently wanted to do a checkup on her but she waved him off, she was tired of hearing him yack at her over different things like stress levels and to make sure he actually got her due time right , he even told her once or twice a while back that she could be further along then what he thought. Right now though she wanted to find zane. It was mostely deserted in the hallways, most likely because some of them are sleeping off hangovers and whatever else they might have been doing.

zane woke up with the worst crick in the neck. walking to the main level of the nest he noticed it must be day time because everyone was doing their morning dances.

"zyanya is going to kill me. i never went home last night." zane mumbled to himself before he shot out of the door like an arrow from his bow, heading towards the palace. " the way i ran off last night she is going to think i cheated on her. oh im in for alot of bitching all day. fuck my life." zane muttered as he ran, damn near running over the medic. Zane stopped and asked if the medic had seen zyanya.
" yeah your in trouble, both with her and me. she is stressed because you didnt come back to the room and im going to talk to you later because of the stress that is putting on her." the medic pointed zane in the direction that zyanya was heading and walked away.

She practically looked everywhere for zane , scowling she mumbled something about men and their stupid heads among other things as she rubbed her lower back, it was starting to hurt badly and she figured she just stressed herself out too much , sighing and making herself slow down and take easy breaths she decided to go down to the kitchens and get something to eat, even though now she lost all appetite for some reason. '' ugh too much crap going on and if he got drunk i swear'' she muttered, venting to herself mostly, she avoided most of the rooms only because she figured she might actually stumble upon a bunch of naked bodies passed out somewhere, wouldn't be the first time,s he caught one of her right hand wolves once with one of the other single females of zane's staff.. it was highly embarrassing for the both of them and she nearly killed the idiot too.

zane finally ran into zyanya near the kitchen. seeing that she was pissed the stammered "n n n now ww wait til you start yelling. i fell asleep in the dancers nest. alone, in the lower archives. i went to the party the guys were planning, but it wasnt any fun for me so i left, you can ask all of them. i left after an hour and went to the dancers nest to dance and then research C'Jarsa. i meant to come home last night but the swirly writing put me to sleep. when i woke up i immediatly came to find you. i even almost ran over the doctor looking for you." he finished before finally taking a breath.

she arched a brow slightly at him, watching him stammer after he found her, it was actually bit hilarious watching his royal butt stammering like that, considering most royals figured they could do whatever the hell they want without an explanation to their significant other or anyone else for that matter. She looked him over slowly, he definitely looked out of sorts, looked like he hadn't slept well either, so that put some truth to his words, though she completely believed him since he didn't smell like sex at all, or any type of alcohol. When he mentioned the medic she gave a slight grunt'' great.. more crap for him to yell at me for. '' she muttered, rubbing her back again before moving her hand to her belly , she was feeling highly uncomfortable now and feeling alot of unwanted pressure.. ''alright then.. guess i don't have to bitch you out this time... what did you find on C'Jarsa?" she was curious about that, hoping it was something good.

"nothing, i couldnt make out the writing." zane said frowning at zyanya rubbing her belly. "are you feeling ok? you look like your in pain, and then your fine." zane checked her brow. "and your sweating, its freezing in here, how are you sweating?"

she shrugged'' probably from running around looking for you? i don't know.. and i am ok.. just alittle uncomfortable is all. again probably from all the running around''' she was going to be hardheaded and stubborn on this. Shifting her weight from foot to foot slightly trying to ease some of the pain in her lower back and now in her lower belly she eyed him, '' well.. what else can we do then ?''

"i dont know i dont care, we are going to the medic now." zane replied before scooping her up and running for the hospital wing. " doc, i think she is in false labor. check her out." zane shouted when they got there.

she gave a grunt and nearly growled at him when he scooped her up, she was not a very happy person right now and being grouchy was just one of those off set things.. when brought to the medic and sat down on the bed she scowled at the doc , pretty much glaring at him. '' i don't want to be poked and prodded and how the hell is it false labor? could actually be the real thing since he keeps telling me i may be further along then we think'' she pointed to the doc, she was not going to be a very cooperative person at the moment.
