Happy that the message had gotton across to Ariel they both knew how bad off she was but they also wanted to protect their children. He winked at her as the kids were much like him when they were leaning.

He looked around "When do you think we can settle for a bit?" He mouthed to Ariel.

Ariel nods and mouths back to him, “Only for a bit though.” She takes them to a patch of forest and says, “We will relax here for a bit. Maybe we can gather some fruit up to eat.” Ryu and Lucy get off Jono quickly and go around identifying plants that they learned about. Ariel gets off the horse and makes her way under a tree. She then sits down and shakes slightly.

Once they had stopped Jono watched to two children run off and then kissed Ariel softly and stroked her face. "How are you feeling my love" He looked her in the eyes "Be truthful with me the children can not hear" He was really worried about her.

Ariel sighs and says sadly, "It sucks that I cannot hide anything from you." She looks in his eyes. "I am not in good shape right now. My body is fighting every move I make." She whistles softly and the horses come to her side. She opens the food pouch and eats some more meat.

Jono half smiled "I prefer it this way, you try to hide things too much" He said in a whisper so thier children wouldnt over hear him. He watched as he ate and sighed stroking her cheek. "My love what can I do to help you?"

Ariel kisses him on the cheek and says, "I want you to be strong for me. For until I am back to normal, you will be my defender against demons. I am not even strong enough to pick up my bow." She uses one of the horses to stand up. Her knees shake and buckle when she tries to bare weight.

Jono nodded "Of course I will be strong for you my love" He gasped as she could barely stand up. He took hold of her and helped her stand,. "Just take it easy, and eat my love" He kissed her neck softly. whishing he could heal her, but she wasnt willign and he couldnt force it onto her.

Ariel looks at him and kisses him tenderly on the lips. She says to him, “Rest is something I cannot do until I know you and the kids are safe.” She focuses on getting herself to stand. Ryu and Lucy look at the two of them knowing that something is wrong with their parents. Ariel looks at her children as her knees shake from the weight.

Jono shook his head. "I wish I could take this burden for you" He kissed her again and lifted her up and smiled to their children. "Hey do you want to see mommy blush?" He was trying to make light of it so they wouldnt worry. Then without worry he kissed her passiontly on the lip then bit into her neck and suckled on her ear lobe.

Ariel whimpers and blushes deeply at Jono's actions. She says softly, "You just did that to get a rise out of me. Naughty boy." Ryu smirks and says, "Get a hut you two." Lucy giggles and says, "At least we know they are still interested in each other." Ariel kisses Jono on the lips with a smile.

Jono let out a loud chuckle and kissed her again. "Guilty my love, and look it did work cause I did get a rise out of you" He smiled again and turned to the kids. Then back to Ariel . "If only there was a hut around here" He was teasing of course but he wanted everything to be light he also didnt want the kids to worry.

He kissed her back as he felt her kiss him and then sighed and nuzzled her neck. "My beautiful woman"

Ariel laughs softly and cuddles into her love slowly wondering how wonderful a normal life would be after this mission is over. Seeing the children play freely in their small patch of land while she is the hut making supper with the freshly picked food from Jono's garden. Free from cruel people who would want to cause them harm. She lets out a peaceful sigh.

Jono continued to hold Ariel and kiss her wishing she would be willing to take some of his strenghth so she could get better.but alas it seemed she was going to not allow that he sighed and kissed her neck.

When she let out her sigh he smiled "what are you sighing about babe?"

Ariel looks at him and says, "I just wish I could find a safe place for the three of you to live until this all over." She could see the sadness in his eyes. She says, "I am not taking your energy Jono. You need to be able to protect the children."

Jono shook his head "You are not going wanywhere with out us, we are safier together my love" He kissed her again and then kissed her nose. "I regenerate my energy quickly, giving you just a little wont hurt me, and will heal you "

He sighed "But I cant force you" He kissed her lips again and then chuckled as he heard kissing noses from behind him.

Ariel looks at him and kisses him back knowing he was not going to give up on helping her. She says, “My love I know your energy would heal me but how do I know you won’t give me too much and hurt yourself…” She looks at Lucy and Ryu as they make kissing noises at them. She smiles and gets off the ground slowly.

"You can trust me that I will not give too much for I know that I can not become a hinderance to you or our children" He whisperd into her ear so he wouldnt scare the two little ones. "I love you and just want you well" He kissed her then chuckld as th two kids made the noises he looked at them and then shook his head, helped her to her feet then said in a teasing voice "Dear do you remember of our childrem are tickilish I have forgotten"

Ariel sighs and says to him softly, “When the children are asleep, you may give me some of your energy. I don’t want to worry any of you any longer.” She looks at the children with a smile. “If I remember correctly they are both ticklish on their sides.” She giggles as the two children run not wanting to be tickled.

Watching the children run off he grinned "My plan worked we are alone" He gentlyy kisssed her then smiled "Thank you, I just figure the quicker that we are able to finish this quest the quicker that we will be able to go home and start our peaceful life as a family. Again he kissed her then grabbed Lucy who had been trying to sneak up on them and started tp tickle her.

Ariel looks at him a moment and says, “I know we will be able to be done with this quest soon at the rate we are going.” She smiles and looks at Ryu as he gets in her lap gently. He rests his head on her chest and just listens to her heart beat. She says, “Soon we all will have a steady home.”

After a few short moments after tickiling Lucy yawned so he let her go and she snggled into him and seemed to calm down. He smiled at the sound of a steady home. He gently kissed the top of Lucy's head and began to slowly rock her.

Ariel smiles as she sees the children are relaxing and getting some needed sleep. She says, “I can see all of us living on a big patch of land. Growing our own food not having to worry about people hating us.” She smiles. “The kids being able to play in the open while I make dinner for our family.” She laughs softly.

"That sounds lovely Ariel" He watched them both sleep "They looked like angels, jsut like their mama" He grinned easily stood and thn sat back down beside her wrapped his arns around her and Ryu and picked them up so all three were wrapped in his arms.

"This is how it should be, all of us together"

Ariel smiles and looks at their sleeping children. “Well they are asleep now if you still wish to let me have some of your energy.” She looks at the sky and says, “We all deserve to be free and soon we will be.”

Jono nodded and gently put both kids down gently then held Ariel. "Just dont resist hun it will go bad if you do" He then put his head next to hers and closed eyes and held her hand as it glowed a soft gold colour.

After a few minutes he opened his eyes and looked at her 'How do you feel?
