Alec got the text after he'd realized he'd forgotten to tell Magnus whee to find his unconscious sister. We dropped her off in her room After Clary had abandoned her body Alec had been designated to pick his dead weight sister up and put her on the bed in her room. While Jace prepared his tracking spell Alec had been busy closing the door to his sister's room. That was when he'd planned on calling Magnus after they'd gotten on the subway. He didn't want Magnus to follow after him, and he also did need someone to look after his sister in case she was more damaged than she'd appeared.

Magnus looked at his phone and nodded to himself. K, thanks. Love you. He stuck his phone in his pocket with some difficulty and hopped off the counter, walking out the door. He navigated his way to Isabelle's bedroom, hoping the turns he was making were correct. There was nobody to help him now if he got lost. He found the door and opened it, seeing the familiar layout of the middle Lightwood child's room. He hadn't been in there often, since there was no need, but he had seen it enough times. He had no idea if Isabelle was awake yet or not, or what state she would be in, but he could fix that easily.

The last thing Isabelle remembered was Clary attacking her, again, and her succeeding this time before the boys pulled her off and tried to detain her, leading to Alec with a split lip and Jace with messed up hair. She remembered nothing else after that and assumed she'd blacked out. She had some cuts here and there and a bruise or two, but nothing hurt more than her pounding head. Clary had nailed her painfully with some sort of heavy object, and then tried to maul her with it. Isabelle noticed Magnus standing in her door and wondered why he was here and not helping Alec and Jace.

Magnus walked into the room, looking at Isabelle curiously. "So you're alive?" he asked, sitting down on the edge of the bed near her feet. "Where does it hurt?" he asked, tilting his head to the side. Her being concious made his job a lot easier. He wished he could be off with Alec, tracking down Clary, but he would do as he was asked, as annoying as it was. At least it was Isabelle who was hurt, and not Clary or Jace. He would have a problem with that. A major problem.

"Of course I'm alive," Isabelle groaned, holding her head. "Take three guesses, and the first two don't count." She looked at him sitting on the edge of her bed. "Where's Alec and Jace?" she asked. "And Clary? Did they get her down so you could make her snap out of it?" She was pretty confused with no idea of what was going on. She didn't hear anything in the other rooms.

Magnus chose not to guess, seeing as she was clutching her head like that. "Alec and Jace went after Clary, who took off after she attacked you. Jace is tracking her, and that's about all I know. So we can be in the dark on this together" he sighed, rolling his eyes. Not knowing things was something Magnus Bane did not take well. He never had, and he expected that he never would. It was just something he couldn't do properly. "Here, I'll fix your head" he said, holding one hand up and motioning for her to move closer.

Isabelle was all ears after that. Alec shouldn't be going out on things like this that could be extremely dangerous and painful and wind up killing him. Isabelle had been shifting him away from Shadowhunter missions that required going after mobs, or going alone. She sat up too quick, her head spinning. "Alec! He shouldn't have gone. Not even with Jace there!" She was getting worked up and Magnus wouldn't even know why. "Why didn't you stop him!" she demanded. "You're his boyfriend, you should be able to stop him!"

Magnus dropped his hand, caught off guard. Why shouldn't Alec have gone? He did things like this normally. Sure, he didn't want Alec gone off either, but Isabelle wasn't one to freak out like this over just not wanting him to get hurt. "What? I wasn't aware I was supposed to stop him. He was already gone when he called me though" he thought about this as he said it. It was as if he was trying hard for someone not to make him stay there. But why? "Is there something I should know about?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He had no idea what was going on.

"Of course there is you idiot!" Isabelle yelled, glaring at Magnus. She had kind of hoped Alec would have told him already, or he would have figured something out. "Alec is....Alec, you knocked your boyfriend up you moron! How could you let him go off into whatever he's going off to while carrying YOUR child?" Isabelle was livid at this point, even though it technically wasn't Magnus' fault for not knowing and not stopping Alec.

Magnus narrowed his eyes. He didn't see how she had any right to yell at him like that. He hadn't done anything wrong. That he knew of. He was about to open his mouth to ask what the reason was but she continued to yell at him. Her words hit him like a ton of bricks. "Wait, what!? I did what now!? IF I KNOCKED HIM UP WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME!?" he yelled back, equally furious. Now he knew why Alec had been sick. Why he hadn't been letting him touch him. Why he was asking him about children. Shit. He had let his pregnant boyfriend go off to get killed. How could Alec keep something like that from him?

Alec sneezed suddenly, the feeling that someone was talking about him was crawling down his neck and giving him light shivers. Jace glared at him like even a sneeze could set him off again. Alec had just gotten Jace to calm down a little bit, but he looked like he was getting ready to fire up again. This was dangerous, as he had no idea where Clary was leading them to. He put a hand to his stomach, worried but knowing he was doing what he should be. Magnus might know at this point. How mad would he be? Alec dreaded the next text or call.

"Now you have to take responsibility for him and go get him!" Isabelle shouted, pointing to the door. Magnus should have at least suspected something, like a good lover would. Alec had done a good job of keeping him in the dark.

Magnus growled in anger and stormed out of the room, whipping out his phone. He punched in the number, grinding his teeth together. Alec was going to get it now. How could he keep that from him? Why would he? He put the phone to his ear, leaning against the wall a few doors down from Isabelle's room. Every muscle in his body was clenched in anger, and his eyes were closed. He was ready to kill, but there happened to be nothing around to kill. He listened to the ringing in his ear, hoping that Alec would answer.

Wincing as the phone rang and Jace snapping his gaze to Alec, Alec didn't even have to look at the caller ID to know who was calling. Just knowing why he was calling made it sound like the phone was demanding his attention even louder than usual. Answering it regretfully, Alec meekly said into the phone, "....Hello?" He knew he was going to get it. There was no way out of it now, because Magnus had to know.

Magnus opened his eyes when he heard the click of the phone being answered, and then Alec's voice. "Alexander. Fucking. Lightwood. Get your ass back here RIGHT NOW!" his voice rose form a growl to a yell. "If you don't come back I'll go find you, and I'll have you know in case you havn't noticed, I am extremely pissed off at you" anger laced his voice completely.

Alec was sure Magnus meant every word he said, especially the part about him being extremely mad at him right now. He didn't know what would happen if Magnus had to come find him though, but he had a feeling it had something to do with locking him up in a room and not letting him out for a really long time. He was hesitant to deny him, but it had to be done. He and Jace were Parabatai, and they had to do this together. Jace couldn't do this alone and Alec wouldn't let him. "I'm sorry, Magnus, but I can't. I have to help find Clary. We'll be back soon though, I swear." He didn't know how long this would take, which was why he didn't swear by the Angel.

Magnus turned and walked into Alec's room, which was just down the hall from where he had been standing. His jaw clenched when Alec denied him. "Alec, get back here. This is your last chance. Do you have any idea how long it will take me to get to you? I'm standing in your bedroom. I'd say about thirty seconds. I'll go find Clary, you're staying here." he said firmly, picking up an old sweater. It was so simple to track exactly where Alec was. And when he was angry, he wasn't afraid of creating a portal and abducting the man carrying his child in front of a bunch of Mundies. At this point, he couldn't care less.

Tracking spells were both a blessing and a danger. In their case, it was a blessing, because it was helping them to find Clary. In his case, it was going to get him nailed in under a minute when Magnus tracked him and portaled over, then dragged him to the Institute to potentially straight jacket him so he couldn't chase after them. He didn't know a way to stop it, and he was sure only a warlock could block them or something. "Why can't I stay here? I'm a Shadowhunter, this is my job," he argued, though he knew very well why. "Don't come, please. I can handle this." He was eighteen after all, why shouldn't he be able to handle a simple rescue mission, even if he was pregnant?

Magnus could see Alec clearly now, with his phone to his ear and looking none too happy, Jace next to him. The stupid blonde probably had no idea what was going on. "You know perfectly well why you can't stay" he snarled, curling his hand into a fist in the sweater he was holding. "I'm coming weather you want me to or not. I think since you witheld certain information from me for this long you should do as I say. Payback's a bitch isn't it? You've got ten seconds to decide weather you're coming quietly or going to attempt to struggle. I wouldn't advise making a scene though" he started opening the portal to where Alec was, ready to grab him and drag him back.

"Magnus, I'm sorry," he apologized, "I can't go back though, I've got to help here," he pleaded, knowing he was going to lose this anyway. He didn't want to stay back and do nothing, but he didn't want to make Magnus angry either, not that that was really working well right now. "You could just come too or something, but I need to stay and help, please?" If Magnus came along then he shouldn't be so worried, right? Magnus would be there to protect him and he wouldn't have to worry about anything because he could keep an eye on him and all. Basically by refusing to answer he was refusing to come quietly, but he didn't want Mundies to see any of this. Not like there was any way he'd be going without a fight, but there had probably been other options to this fight.

Magnus growled in frustration. Mainly because he couldn't see a problem with that plan. But he wasn't going to lose this argument. "You've got five seconds Alec. And then I'm coming to get you," he had the portal finished. There was no way he was going to let Alec win this. Not after lying to him and not telling him that he was pregnant. That was huge. He knew he was going to be angry about that for a while yet. "Five, four, three, two, one" he snapped the phone shut and dropped it, stepping through the portal. He spotted Alec instantly, wrapping his arms around the dark haired Shadowhunter's waist, careful of his stomach now, and starting to drag him backwards, hoping he had caught him off guard. But maybe his counting had ruined that.

Alec had nearly dropped the phone when Magnus appeared through the portal and grabbed him. He clutched it tightly in his hands as he was lifted, and didn't look to Jace who was probably looking incredulous at them, and confused. Alec wouldn't be surprised at how many confused Mundies there were. He had been expecting him when he was counting down, but that didn't make it any easier to accept him just walking through the portal and grabbing hold of him. "Don't wanna go, Magnus!" Alec whined, hoping Jace might say something and make Magnus let him stay.

Magnus shot a glare at Jace, as if daring him to try and stop him, which he knew would probably just make him do something to piss him off anyways, but maybe he had caught him off guard as well. "Does it seem like I care at this point? You're going to stay put and take care of your sister" he hissed, dragging him back through the portal and dropping him. "I'll take care of you when I get back" he growled, glaring at him before turning his back to go back through the portal.

[Nyako-Chan]

((I dunno when I'm leaving, apparently my mom and aunt and junk are waiting for the tenant in another house to show up, buuuuut))

"Ouch, Magnus!" Alec protested as he was dropped roughly, he grabbed on to the back of Magnus' shirt before he went through the portal. "Let me go too, Magnus. Why can't it be fine if you just come along with us?" Alec knew Magnus had every right to be mad at him for hiding the secret and lying to him, but he should be able to go along too to save Clary. Jace was sure to ask questions about this later, which Alec would have to answer. Alec would also have to tell his parents before he really started showing.

Magnus clenched his fists again when he felt a tug at his shirt turning around to glare at Alec. Something in the back of his mind told him to stop clenching his muscles, that it was bad for his complexion, but he couldn't care less about that at the moment. "You can't come because you're pregnant, no matter how capable you are. Plus, I'm mad at you, you owe me, and somebody needs to stay here and make sure that head wound of your sister's doesn't turn fatal" he said, pulling his shirt out of Alec's grasp and stalked back through the portal, closing it after him. He had left his phone on Alec's bedroom floor, so there was no negotiating. So maybe he had lied about Isabelle's head, but maybe it would make him more inclined to stay there. He didn't even look around as he crossed his arms and stood next to Jace, glaring at the floor. "Where's Clary?" he asked, since Jace was the one tracking her.

Never in his life that included Magnus had Alec felt so rejected by him. He deserved it, technically, but he didn't like it all the same, no matter how much he had it coming. Magnus was right though, even if Alec didn't want him to be right now. When the portal closed and Alec had pocketed Magnus' phone with his, he walked to Isabelle's room to check if the wound of hers really was going to go fatal or not. Knocking, he entered her room, where she looked surprised and upset with him at the same time.

"I could hear him from over here. He sounded pretty mad at you," she commented, letting him sit on the edge of her bed. "He's scary when he's mad."

Sighing, Alec looked at his sister, who didn't look too bad. Demons did worse, so it was lucky Clary wasn't a very good Shadowhunter. Lucky she wasn't very good at anything. "I had it coming, I guess."

Jace stared blankly at Magnus for a moment. Why was he here and what did he do with Alec? "Where's Alec?" he asked first, because he had just witnessed Alec begging on the phone, then the warlock stepping through the portal and grabbing him. He deserved the right to know what was going on with them.
