Jace's headache that had been just a mild buzzing skyrocketed to insane pain, leaving him to grit his teeth and hold his head. He knew what was happening again and should have expected it. Jace did grab Clary, but he found himself running them both in the direction that Clary was headed in. Something came to him, using his lips to speak, "Better check on Alec, warlock. For all you know, he could be trying to find his own way here right now. The Master calls us, you know." Which wasn't necessarily true with all of them. Maybe it was just Jace and Clary right now. He just needed to throw Magnus off his trail temporarily while he brought Clary to her destination. He didn't need Magnus knocking him out too.

Magnus heard the footsteps and then slight shuffling sound and he assumed Jace was picking Clary up, and then he heard running footsteps, causing him to spin around and curse. Check on Alec? Maybe that was a good idea. He could get Jace and Clary later. He opened his hand and poofed his phone there, having no idea that it had been in Alec's pocket, but it was slightly warm. He flipped it open and hit Alec's number, holding the device to his ear. As much as he didn't want to talk to Alec right now, he needed to make sure he was staying put.

Alec flinched when he felt the weight of the Magnus' phone in his pocket disappear, meaning Magnus was summoning it, or it was magic on its own and was going back to him. Either way, he expected the call that followed shortly after it left him. He didn't even want to answer it, but maybe it was important, maybe he was calling to tell him they got Clary and were heading back. He left Isabelle's room after letting the phone ring until it reached its second to last call, letting Magnus wait. He was feeling spiteful towards his boyfriend, but there wasn't much he could do over the phone. "Hello?" he asked, picking it up finally.

Magnus growled in irritation when the phone continued to ring, until finally it was answered. "Hi. Uhm, we found Clary, but then Jace grabbed her and ran the other way, saying something about 'the master calls us', and told me to check on you, to make sure you weren't trying to make your way here, and I decided that was a very good idea. Where are you?" he said most of that in one breath, getting the explaination out of the way before he asked the more important question. Well, more important to him. He didn't exactly care that much about Jace and Clary. He was only doing this because it would affect Alec.

"They got away?" Alec asked, surprised. Nothing had been wrong with him or Izzy, so he had no idea something had gone wrong with Jace too. "I'm still here, except I'm in the hallway, because it's boring here, and you won't let me go too to help you." Could Magnus take on a possessed Clary and Jace and possibly Valentine all at once? He didn't think even he could do that. Maybe just Jace and Clary, but not if there was another warlock or Valentine there.

Magnus sighed and sat down on the ground, right where he was. He didn't exactly know where that was though. "You'd better still be there. And you'd better not be lying to me. Because I do have ways of knowing. Anyways, I don't know what I'm supposed to do now. Follow them? If I can head them off before they get to their destination I can probably stop them. Especially since Clary's unconcious" he sighed, running his fingers through his spiked hair. He had no idea what he should do, and he wasn't very happy that he was consulting Alec about this.

"Why can't I go too? And Isabelle. We can bring her and all, and it'll be fine," Alec persisted, wanting to help. If he had been there before Jace had betrayed or whatever and brought Clary with him, maybe Alec could have tried to stop him. "We can help because we're trained for this kind of thing, no matter what kind of burden we carry." Shadowhunters fought even when injured, and they did their best as to not be a hindrance.

Magnus sighed and rested his forehead on his fist, his elbow on his knee. "You know full well why you can't come. I don't want you anywhere near Valentine. Who knows what he'll do to you? Seeing as- shit" he cut himself off in midsentence. Valentine would probably know about Alec. Since he told Jace. He was really regretting that now. "Alec. Get your ass here right now. I'm making a portal. I don't care if Isabelle comes as well or not, I just want you with me right now" he said, giving no further explaination. He got to his feet and opened a portal in the hallway outside Isabelle's room, figuring he would be somewhere around there.

Not that Alec didn't mind Magnus suddenly changing his mind and demanding him over there, but it unnerved him slightly to hear him suddenly realize something and need Alec by his side. "Izzy! Magnus made a portal for us, c'mon!" he yelled away from the phone, Isabelle who had grabbed their Shaodwhunter gear right away and their weapons so they could change into it quickly when they got there. Alec, concerned for Magnus, hung up the phone as he walked through the portal with his sister, arriving by Magnus. "We're here," Alec announced, stating the obvious. Isabelle just looked at him and sighed.

"What did you need us for?" she asked, having not heard the conversation from the phone. She was just glad to be able to help though, so coming prepared by having their gear in her room at the time had helped.

Magnus sighed again, not exactly wanting Alec here, where Valentine was, but he didn't want him somewhere where he wasn't, and Valentine could get him and he wouldn't know. He was safer with more competent people around. The three of them would be sufficient. He hung up his phone when he heard Alec disconnect, and stuck it in his pocket. "I see that" he replied, stretching his arms above his head. "Alright, they went that way," he nodded his head in the direction they had gone, "And I have no idea what's at the end of their little journey. I suppose it isn't far, so let's go, but he careful" he shot a look at Alec, meaning mostly him. He was going to be a bit overprotective now, but it was understandable.

The Lightwood siblings equipped their gear quickly, used to drills they had when they were younger that required them to change as quick as possible so they could make it in time. Isabelle scanned the distance to where they were headed. "I'll be fine," Alec reassured Magnus, though none of them there could really promise anything like it. It probably wasn't that far, but it'd be kind of long because Magnus was keeping hawk eyes on him. Not that Alec didn't deserve that now because he hadn't told Magnus anything, but it was annoying, though sweet in its own way.

Magnus waited as they got their Shadowhunter gear on, scanning the distance. He had honestly no idea where the hell they were headed off to. He looked up at Alec and made a "Hmph" sound, crossing his arms. "I'm still mad at you, just so you know. Now let's go" he said, turning his back on the two and starting to walk in the direction that Jace had gone in while carrying Clary. He glanced back at Alec every once and awhile just in case, unable to help himself now.

"I know you're still mad, and I said I was sorry," Alec replied, Isabelle ignoring them so she didn't have to hear them bicker. They walked to where Magnus had said Clary and Jace had gone off to, and Alec wondered if they were all right or not. The possessor of their minds hadn't done any real damage to them, just made them do it to each other. What else would he make them do? Isabelle and Alec were prone to getting controlled again.

Magnus sighed, shaking his head. "Sorry isn't good enough. I just can't believe you kept that from me" he said, glaring ahead of him while he walked. He was only angry about that. And the fact that his day had just gotten worse and worse. But it was also quite exciting. He was going to be a father? It was unexpected, but it would be an interesting experiance. He didn't quite know what to think of it yet. Until he actually sat down and spoke to Alec about it on normal terms.

[Nyako-Chan]

"Well then I'm sorry that sorry isn't good enough for you," Alec muttered. He understood that Magnus was upset about it, but he'd get over it in a couple days, probably. It was just three months that he didn't tell him. It's not like he waited until he was really showing. He had done a good job of hiding it, and he did technically hint it before. Magnus just didn't catch on, as it seemed. They'd wind up talking more about it later on though, unfortunately.

"You should be" Magnus snapped back, shooting a glare at him before he looked forewards again. He really needed to keep focused on what they were all doing, especially as they got closer. Or else they would all die. And he knew that when it came down to it he needed to stop being mad at Alec so that they could work efficiently. His anger would blow over eventually. He still loved Alec, and he was sure that would never change, so it didn't matter.

Alec had no comment to Magnus snapping at him, he just averted his gaze from the warlock. He was sorry for sorry not being enough, but he wasn't sorry for hiding it that long. If Magnus had been in his spot, would he have just out right declared it? Maybe, but if he wasn't as bold as he was, what then? If Magnus loved him, and Alec figured he did, then he'd let it blow over soon and wind up being thrilled about it. He wondered what Magnus thought about it right now. Magnus was probably thinking about it, otherwise he wouldn't be as quiet.

Magnus walked forwards with his head held high, letting his anger boil, and soon simmer down to nothing. He couldn't stay mad at him for very long. One look at his face had him softening even. He tried to avert his eyes for that exact reason. After walking in silence for awhile he heaved a sigh, his arms dropping from their tense crossed position. He turned his head to look at Alec once and his shoulders sagged. "I'm sorry. I was just pissed off that you didn't tell me. You really should have. But, uhm, you might want to know before we actuay get where we're going, I kind of told Jace. I was feeling spiteful. Sorry" he sighed again, running a hand through his always-perfect hair.

Alec sighed when Magnus finally spoke to him without yelling or telling him he should be sorry. Or at least the first two words weren't. Alec's eyes widened when Magnus told him that he had told Jace what was going on between them two out of spite. "Wha-what?" Alec gasped, in a way kind of relieved he wasn't the one who had to tell him, but still upset that he knew at all, even if it had to be done some time. "Then....what did he think?" he asked him, wondering if it had been good or bad that he hadn't been the one to say anything to Jace first.

Magnus glanced at Alec at the question, wondering if he should lie or not. It would be pretty harsh if he told the truth. "Well. . . he seemed a little startled. . . and then he got posessed, so I'm not quite sure" he said, which wasn't quite a lie, but not quite truthful either. He couldn't just blatantly say 'well he hates it'. "All I know is that Valentine will probably know very soon, which is why you're here now, with me, where I can make sure nothing's happening to you" he explained, heaving a sigh. He couldn't believe he had actually told Jace now. He had put btoh Alec and his child in danger.

Yes, because that always made sense, protecting someone prone to mind control again, by bringing them even closer to the possessor. Well, Magnus could do more if they were close to him anyway. "O-oh..." Alec responded, kind of glad that Jace didn't take it badly that he was in a relationship with Magnus, and pregnant. He was glad Jace wasn't mad or that he didn't hate it. Alec didn't think he was a homophobe, but with Jace, you never knew, usually.

Magnus bit his lip slightly at the small response Alec gave to that. He sounded so. . . insecure. He hated to hear him that way, even if he was still agrivated. "Alright, we're there" he said after another few minutes of walking. He kept his voice down and he turned to look at the two eldest Lightwood children. They were standing outside a cave, and he knew roughly what was inside because of the tracking spell.It wasn't much, really. "So Alec, get your ass behind me and stay there, put your ass in harm's way and I'll be severely pissed off, again. I have no idea what's going to happen, so we're winging it. Sound good?" he looked at the two of them, raising an eyebrow.

[Nyako-Chan]

"Yeah, sure," Alec said, raising an eyebrow and stepping behind Magnus, as instructed. Apparently standing in the middle of him and Isabelle would protect him better. Or was he just going to stay behind Magnus and Isabelle? Did Magnus know where he was going anyway? Was he still tracking Clary? Would they be fighting Jace and Clary? Too many questions that would have to wait until they hit that point. Alec didn't like it. "So where does Izzy get to stand?"

Magnus was as full of uncertainties as anybody else by this point. For all he knew they could be walking right into a trap, and they would never know. But he was doing this for Alec, for their future together, and their child. Maybe they could stop Jace before Valentine found out about their child. It seemed like definitely the kind of thing Valentine would want his hands on. "She can stand wherever she wants. Now, you have weapons, I'm assuming?" he asked, tilting his head to the side slightly. He didn't need weapons. He was fine with his magical blue fire. It was his best friend sometimes.

"Glad to see I get my own say in this," Isabelle commented dryly. Not like she'd have let Magnus tell her what to do anyway, although if he threatened her, she didn't know if she'd start a fight or actually listen to him grudgingly. She took her place in front of Magnus, since her reflexes with the whip might come in handy.

"Yeah, we've got our own weapons," Alec told him, "but are you gonna let me fight or do I get to watch?" Alec had been continuing with his work for the past three months, and even though he fatigued faster, that didn't completely hinder him.
