Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Alec hadn't thought about the acceptance of a Shadowhunter taking on a Downworlder name. "I like Alec Bane just fine. Might make the Clave a little angrier the day they find out." They couldn't keep it from the Clave forever. The longer they could hide this, the better. Maybe they'd get away long enough that their kids could fight on their own. Alec would have to hope they could hide it that long. He'd be stripped of his marks the day they found out he married a Downworlder and had children. Then they'd take their children. They might even kill Magnus. Alec would defend them even if it killed him.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Magnus muttered a few choice words referring to where he thought the Clave could shove it. He would protect his family from the Clave if it killed him. He was a warlock. And now just any warlock, he was Magnus Bane, High Warlock of Brooklyn. He could do quite a bit of damage against Shadowhunters, Sebastian being the exception. Dragging his mind away from that, he grinned. "Alec Bane. Because you're mine" he growled slightly in Alec's ear, nipping at it. He knew that they couldn't really do much with this, but it was still fun to tease.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Alec growled back at Magnus as his ear was nipped at. His ears and his neck were admittedly his weak spots. "Of course I'm yours. I can't imagine being anyone else's." He didn't want to be anyone else's. "I love you, a lot." The two of them would do what they could when the time came and the Clave found out. Alec was more afraid of the Clave at the moment than Sebastian, because he knew for a fact what the Clave would do. Even if he didn't know what Valentine would do, the Clave threatened him more for the time being.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Magnus grinned, loving how that sounded, even if he already knew it. "Good. If you were anyone elses there might be a gruesome fight to the death with you as the prize" he kissed the edge of Alec's jaw, looking into the clear blue eyes he loved so much. "I love you too. More than you know" he replied, kissing him on the lips this time, soft and sweet. He knew he had an eternity to live, but Alec was going to get old and die. He was going to have to fix that, asap. There was no way he was letting Alec leave him like that. They were going to get their happily ever after and live together forever.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
"More than I know?" Alec groaned, "How don't I know how much you love me if I love you just as much?" Alec rested his hands on Magnus' hips, wishing he still had these kind of hips. He wished they could go farther, but he had to wait. They both had to wait, but touching was pretty okay. Alec wished they could be together forever. Time was of the essence for him, unless there was a way to stop his time. He loved Magnus enough to want to live forever with him, not wanting to leave him alone when his time ran out. He'd be sad when his family aged and died, but he wanted to be with Magnus. He wondered about their kids. Maybe they'd fall in love with a Mundane and be happy. Maybe they'd hook up with a Downworlder. Alec didn't know yet. It was too soon to even think about it.

Magnus smiled, resting his forehead against Alec's. "More than you know, because humans fall in love so much easier than Downworlders. I've been alive for 800 years, and you're the first person I've ever wanted to spend my eternal life with. You should feel honored, having Magnificent Magnus Bane, High Warlock of Brooklyn, fall for you so completely" his tone was teasing at the end. Eternal life. He had to find a way to make that possible. "By this point, if you ever decided to leave me I'd probably lock you up in my bedroom so you could never leave. But don't worry, I'd keep you well fed and watered, and I'd walk you every day" he grinned, picturing him walking Alec down the street on a leash. He would make an adorable puppy.

"You're so full of yourself," Alec teased, loving that part of Magnus too. People like that, how Jace had been too, irked him unless they could prove it, and Jace had been able to prove it, technically, but it was still annoying because he was so arrogant. Magnus had his mixture of sarcasm, stubbornness, and pride. He balanced them out with his other qualities, and it made him perfect. "I think that'd go against Clave law in some way," Alec commented, when he thought about being locked in Magnus' room all the time if he ever wanted to leave. He knew Magnus enough to try not to fight, unless he had the element of surprise with him.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
"That I am, little Shadowhunter, that I am" Magnus laughed, flashing him a smile. Sometimes he thought Alec needed to be more confident in that way, but at the same time, he wouldn't be Alec if he was. He would change completely. He was sure he would still love him, but maybe not as much. But he was shy and sweet, and he loved him dearly. "Well I'm sure there are no exact laws saying I can't keep you as a pet. But even if it does break a law, it isn't as if I havn't before. Anything for you". He really would do anything for Alec. That had been proven many times as he rushed to the beck and call of the Shadowhunters, healing them and helping them generally without pay.

"You're so sweet," he sighed back, smiling at his warlock. No one in his life had ever been as kind to him as Magnus was, and Alec had never dreamed anyone would be, he'd been too wrapped up in thoughts of Jace to ever think he deserved that. Magnus had been the unexpected surprise in his life, and he was grateful to the Angel to have found him. He'd even be grateful to Clary for being so bothersome and leading them to find the warlock who had marked her mind. Then he got to meet Magnus, and after a long war of denial and a couple fights with Magnus, they turned out just fine.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
"Sweet? Me? That's a new one. I've been called many things, most of them unpleasant, but sweet is one that's generally avoided around me" Magnus grinned, kissing him on the cheek. "You on the other hand, are probably the sweetest person I know. And I know a lot of people" He knew a lot, and would know more, but he was sure Alec would still be the sweetest, and most innocent. He had no idea that demon slayers could be so innocent.
Magnus sat cross-legged on his bed, flipping through the Book of White, which rested in his lap. He bit his lip as he studied the pages, frowning down at them. He was ready to be ripping pages out and screaming in frustration, but then he would miss something, which was what he couldn't afford at this point. He needed to find some kind of spell or ritual that would make Alec immortal. Something! he had heard of something of the sort, but he couldn't remember where. It was probably a long time ago. He had to find it, whatever it was. He couldn't let Alec get old and die on him. He growled in frustration, his green-gold cat eyes scanning the page furiously. He had spent three hours already trying to find something. And he was only half way through the book! This was getting ridiculous. Half the things he was reading he either already knew, or didn't care about. He groaned after a while, falling back with the book open in his lap, and he crossed his arms over his face. As painful as this was, it would be worth every minute of his time in the end.

Alec was out of ideas of what to do to keep himself amused. No training, no missions, just him and Izzy in the Institute, and his parents. His parents were out right now for whatever reason, not like he did much hanging around them anyway. Isabelle would run in and out of his room exclaiming she had a new idea for their wedding, and she'd contradict whatever she said before. Alec was currently trying to experiment with ways to sleep on the bed that weren't uncomfortable. His back was all right for a little while, and his sides got numb with time. Obviously he couldn't sleep on his stomach too. He'd been settling for tossing and turning nights almost every night. Sometimes he got lucky and slept the whole night. He considered texting Magnus, but he didn't remember where he'd put his phone. It was probably in the kitchen, or Izzy had it and was texting Magnus. For some reason using her own phone to text him wasn't as much fun as using his phone, especially when she got him to believe she was him and she'd carry on a conversation pretending to be Alec. Then she'd reveal herself by saying someone so out of character Magnus had to come to realize it was Isabelle talking.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Magnus flipped through some more pages while lying on his back before sitting upright. "YES! Here it is!" he cheered, fist-pumping the air. He read it thoroughly through, nodding to himself as he did so. It was do-able, but it would be tough. And extremely draining. But one hundred percent worth it. He grabbed a bag and stuck the Book of White inside after marking the page, grabbing his phone and slipping on some shoes, walking to the Institute. He flipped open his phone to text Alec, and let him know that he was coming. On my way over. See you soon. he sent it, figuring that Alec wasn't busy. There wasn't much for him to be doing.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Alec looked up to see his sister entering his room with his cell phone, holing it out to him. He grabbed it and checked it out, then she told him what it basically said right after he'd read it. She left him after that, closing the door and probably heading back to her room. He wondered why she had it or why she didn't just do what she usually did. Why was Magnus coming over? Did he need something? He usually asked first to make sure they weren't doing anything or weren't out. I'll see you soon then he replied, wondering what was up.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Magnus's long legs covered the distance between him and his Shadowhunter quickly, his tight pants surprisingly not imparing his long strides. Well, surprisingly to others, he was sure. He opened his phone when the music played, checking the message before putting it back in his bag. He revelled in the looks people threw his way, and the way people tended to avoid him, except for a few apparently brave girls, who gave him appreciative once-overs, that he still ignored. He soon reached the Institute, walking inside and heading up the elevator, sending a quick text to tell Alec such. Once he was on the correct floor he navigated the way to Alec's room, knocking on the old wooden door.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Alec checked the progress Magnus was apparently recording and telling him. He only had to wait a moment before hearing his door being knocked on. At least he wasn't like Isabelle, who just barged right in no matter what the circumstances were. Alec didn't have any privacy of his own, it seemed, because Jace did the same thing. Magnus knocked, like his parents did. They were the only people who did, it would seem. "Come in," he said, wondering what this was about. Did something happen? he thought again.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Through the thin door he heard Alec's voice clearly. He turned the knob and walked inside, shutting the door after him and smiling down at Alec. "Hey sweetheart. How're you feeling?" he asked, moving to sit on the edge of the bed. He had no idea how willing Alec would be to leave his family to grow old and die, and spend eternity with him. He may have liked the idea, before it became a real option. But for Magnus, it was the only option he could bear to think of. He wouldn't be able to stand Alec getting old, shriveling up and wasting away as an old man.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Alec had to think about that one for a minute. He hadn't thought about how he felt today. "A little moody, dunno why, but it'll pass, maybe. What about you?" he asked him, because the warlock always seemed to chipper. He seemed a little stressed today, Alec wondered what he'd been up to. "Something going on?" he questioned him, "you don't usually arrive like this." Nothing physically seemed off about his fiance, but there was some kind of tension there that made him feel like something was off.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Magnus shrugged, stretching his legs out. "Pretty good actually. Just a bit tired. I read this damnable book for three and a half hours before I found what I was looking for" he said, pulling the Book of White out of his bag and setting it on the bed. "Not really anything going on, but. . . could be. It's your decision actually" he sighed, opening the book and flipping to the page that he had folded the corner over. He found it and smoothed the corner back before turning the book to face Alec, allowing him to read it. "Don't rush into a decision about what you think you want. Think about it. What do you really want?" he didn't want Alec rushing into this and regretting it later.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Alec's eyes widened as he saw what the text on the book was. Immortality was what Magnus appeared to have been searching for. Both of them had talked about the concept before, because Alec would have no choice but to age and die in time. Now he was being given the choice in front of him. It was possible to become immortal now, where he wouldn't age and he wouldn't die. With this trace of magic in him, the Clave would be able to sniff him out from a mile away. Magic like this was very traceable. It was perhaps, dangerous. Could they put this off for another time? "I want to wait a little before I say yes," he said. "I think I will say yes, but I want some time before I say it."
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Magnus watched Alec's reaction carefully, trying to figure out what he was thinking. It wasn't really working, as predictable as he could be sometimes. He smiled at the answer, nodding. "Good. I want you to think good and hard, and weigh out pros and cons and everything. I don't want you to regret it in eighty years or something. And I'm well aware of the magical trail it practically leaves, but we can deal with that when it comes to it. Don't feel rushed, because I can wait" he sighed once he finished talking, hugging Alec lightly. If he decided that he didn't want to do this, life would be rough in forty years or so when Alec started getting old, and then when he died. He wasn't quite sure what he would do.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
"I will think hard," Alec sighed, "I know some of the pros and cons of this idea already." There were moments he would spend alone in his room and brood, thinking of what would happen if he could be immortal. "I'm not sure how long it'll be until I decide for sure, but I'm pretty sure I'll say yes some time." Alec sat in the slight silence of the seriousness that befell the room, and then what interrupted that was his stomach growling. Alec looked surprise, he hadn't really been that hungry a minute ago, but apparently now he was starving. He wasn't sure what he wanted. His parents made sure he ate as much as he was supposed to, because the habit of light eating as a Shadowhunter hadn't wanted to leave. He ate pretty odd stuff these days for some reason, things that made Isabelle gag and twitch. "Um...I'm hungry.....I guess." He looked at Magnus. "I'm in the mood for something like...pickle juice on ice cream with almonds in it....and...what are those things called? Um....rhubarbs?" He didn't even know he knew what rhubarbs tasted like, but apparently he wanted some. "And probably something else, too. I'm not sure what yet, but it needs ketchup. Lots of ketchup."
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Magnus was glad that Alec had given it some thought already. It would make the decision come faster, probably. Even after living for so long, his patience wasn't the best. But he would wait as long as he had to. Probably fretting the whole time that Alec would decide not to take up his offer. He looked down at Alec's stomach with a raised eyebrow, smirking slightly. "Apparently" he snickered. He went silent as his lover started listing off the things that he wanted to eat. His eyes got wider as the list went on, slightly horrified, but at the same time, it was incredibly amusing. Once Alec finished he was silent for another moment before bursting into laughter, clutching his stomach and doubling over, sliding sideways off the bed and landing in a half-sitting half-lying position. "What. . . the. . . hell?" he managed to get out. That was probably the strangest assortment of food he had ever heard of. He knew the cravings of pregnant women were strange, but he didn't know that they were that bad. It was extremely funny.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Alec's eyes widened when Magnus fell off the bed. Maybe his food choice at the moment was comical, but was it really that funny? Isabelle usually just gave him a look and went looking for things that filled his request. "It sounds kinda good right now," he said, thinking about it. He didn't think he even remembered what rhubarb tasted like. "Umm...so, what are you going to get? Something more normal, right?" Alec usually only ate something crazy and possibly normally disgusting and puke-worthy twice a week or so. He wondered what else he could put together that sounded good. It might make Magnus laugh if he said it right now. "You could lead the way if you want. I'm not doing anything right now anyway."
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Magnus calmed his laughter down, letting out only the occasional snicker. "Okay, sorry, most people'e cravings are less. . . bizarre. Like pickles and peanut butter. That's just. . . I don't even know. Yeah, something more normal sounds good" he stood up, closing the Book of White and putting it in his bag, dropping his bag on the floor and holding his hand out to Alec. "Do you even have those things in here? Or am I going to have to get some?" he asked, wiggling his fingers to show what he meant by 'get some', in case Alec was unclear on his intentions. Most people didn't mind his. . . stealing. Clary had, but he didn't know anyone else who had made a big deal over it.
Re: Fan Rp - MAlec - THE DEATH OF CLARY! (c) Cassandra Clare
Alec thought about it. Did Maryse or Isabelle do any shopping lately? He wasn't all that sure. "Umm, we...hmm...I'm not sure if we've got a majority of the things I feel like eating, might need you to get some." Alec didn't mind stealing from the Mundanes. No one could do anything about it anyway. If he took things, it's not like they could put it back or something. Well, he could if he wanted to, but that'd be pointless use of magic to pick it up, then put it back. Might as well just keep it. And besides, it was just the Mundanes. "Isabelle and mom never really have the good stuff here."
