Shino nods and says, “Yes I am a doctor. I knew I should have removed those bullets when I had a chance.” He picks her up and puts her on his bed before grabbing his medical kit. He sterilizes his scalpel and says, “I need you to bare with me Rose. If you go to the ER again, your dad will try to take you home. So we have to remove them here.”

he tensed slightly before going over to the bed with a couple of clean towels that he figured he would need, sitting down next to her but out of shino's way , reaching over to slid his hand in rose's.. '' you going to be ok hun ?" he glanced at Shino slightly '' do you have any local pain killers or something?" he wasn't too happy about this but knew he didn't want rose's dad to get ahold of her again.

Shino says, “Pain killers put her to sleep. I need to keep her awake in order for her to be okay after this.” Rose cries out and squeezes Rin’s hand as he cuts into her shoulder with the scalpel. Shino places a guard in her mouth to bite down on and keep her from biting her tongue off. He slowly removes the four bullets from her shoulder. He wipes the blood off her skin with the towels before wrapping the wound up.

he didn't like that one bit but knew rose was strong, he leaned closer to her as she squeezed his hand, she had a firm grip but since he was strong it didn't hurt, reaching over to brush hair out of her face, watching the entire time as he pulled the bullets out.. '' your done rose. just hold still for him to clean you up'' he eyed the bullets slightly before making a face.. '' her dad did that?"

Shino nods and says calmly with hurt lingering in his voice, “She tried to run away when she was twelve and he shot her six times. Four in the right shoulder. Once in both legs. I only was able to remove the two in her legs back then. She was not able to leave home for three months.” Rose cuddles into Rin once she is allowed to move. Shino says, “I tried to put her dad away for it but he was set free in a day.”

he slowly relaxed, carefull of her shoulder, he rubbed her back slowly '' damn, but that is not unusual, if you pay high enough or you know the right people they can easily get them out of jail....just wish a judge would finally get him on no bail or bond.. can't pay his way out of that..'' he muttered, brushing more hair from her face. leaning back against the bed board and sighed. '' well you got them out now, so hopefully no more pain.''

Rose’s shoulder wiggles free of the bandages causing her to bleed a little on the bed. Before Shino can redress the wound, her shoulder heals rapidly in front of them both. All that remains of the wound is fresh new scars. Rose opens her eyes slowly as she gasps for air as the pain goes away. She stays cuddled up to Rin and looks at the two of them.

he blinked in surprise as her wounds seemed to heal right in front of him, shaking his head he rubbed his eyes'' i am not sure i saw that, i think i need more sleep. '' shaking his head he lightly rubbed her back again, he was a little confused but not completely weirded out.. '' did umm.. did you see that?"he glanced at shino, thinking maybe its just him going nuts.

Shino says, "I saw that too. She healed within seconds." Rose looks at the two of unsure what they are freaked out about. She was dazed and uneasy as her body was tired. She looks at them before she closes her eyes to sleep. Shino covers her up with a warm blanket and carries her out to the couch so they could keep track of her.

he smiled, lightly kissed her cheek as she fell asleep'' nothing to worry about darlin girl. sleep well '' he followed shino as he moved her to the couch, running a hand through his own hair'' hmmmm well.. its unusual.. but i figured she was different than anyone else.. just gives me one more reason to keep her away from her father. ''

Shino looks at him with a calm smile saying, “She seems quite taken with you. I wonder why that is? You have not promised her anything, have you?” He gets the sandwiches and eats some of them as he waits for a response. He says, “I am three years older than Rose and I have been around her all her life. Yet she has never bonded with me in the way she has with you. And to be honest, I am very jealous of you for that.”

he grinned slightly sheepish. '' nah haven't promised her anything other then to help keep her safe and the fact that i would never hurt her.. '' shrugging he leaned against the counter to get a sandwich himself'' hmmm well dunno about that. we have alot of things in common and yet there are some t hings we have that are different, '' he gave another grin before glancing over at her. '' i am definitely very fond of her, and even though i have known her for a short period of time, i would do anything for her.''

Shino says, “You should have known Rose before he father killed her mother. Her eyes use shine like the stars. When she looked at a person, she would win their heart with her smile. How I miss that side of her. She use to sing like an angel. I recorded everything school function that had her singing. But since her mother’s death, she has lost her spark to living and sing. She just exists like a zombie walking through life.” Spunky and Star come in the house and Spunky jumps on Rose’s belly.

he frowned, glancing at the animals and watched as spunky and star both cuddled up to her, '' thats not good, maybe the time away from her over bearing and abusive father will give her a chance to get that spark again, she has taken up dancing lessons you know. '' he smiled slightly '' could swear sometimes she lights up brightly just by dancing.. '' he glanced over at her.'' wonder if we could take her out for karoake or something.''

Shino looks at her and says, "Maybe but I doubt it." He tenses up as he see Rose move on the couch as though she is being stabbed in the side. Spunky slowly makes his way up to her face and licks her nose softly. She opens her eyes and looks at him. His tail starts wagging like crazy. She smiles and strokes his ears very gently. Shino asks, "Do you want me to get him off you?" She shakes her head.

he frowned as he went over to her, kneeling down as he looked her over'' you alright? not having any nightmares or anything are you?'' he reached up to lightly brush the hair out of her face. '' how are you feeling? you kinda have me and your friend over there worried about you. . '' he was definitely wondering how she healed that fast , though didn't say anything as he sat down completely by the couch, '' you hungry?"

Rose looks at him a moment before smiling a little bit. She says in a soft voice, “I was not dreaming at all and I am sorry that I worried you two.” She gets on her side and looks at her shoulder a moment. She says, “Oh wow my shoulder is already healed and scarred over.” Shino asks, “How long have you been able to heal this fast Rose? As soon as I had the bullets out, your body healed itself.” Rose looks at him and says, “I don’t know. Since I was four I guess considering that’s how far back I can remember.”

he smiled slightly as he leaned against the couch and lightly reached over to check her shoulder. '' yea it is.. ahh and its a good way that tells you we are truely caring for you by how much we worry'' he teased, '' so don't you worry about making us worry so much , we can handle it.. '' he lightly petted spunky before frowning slightly '' that long huh.. its really interesting. ahh well . makes you even more special.''

Rose looks at Spunky and says to Rin, “Do we have any ice cream? That sounds really good right now.” Shino comes to the couch and sits on his knees and says to her, “I am glad you are awake but how are you feeling?” She looks at him and says, “Well to be honest, I feel a little dazed and a little loopy. You know like me being awake for three days without any sleep. And trying going to school on the fourth day.” Shino laughs and says, “That’s your body releasing endorphins to ease your pain and stress level.”

Rin smiled slightly '' yea we got ice cream, what flavor?'' getting up he stretched before heading to the freezer. pulling out two types of ice cream'' we got.. chocolate and strawberry.. might have to go to the store if you wanting something else darlin.''

Rose says, “Chocolate is good enough for me. I just need food.” Her body starts to shake some as she has a muscle spasm in her leg. Shino puts a blanket over her legs and says, “Just relax.” He thinks a moment and starts to sing to her to calm her down.

Rose slowly starts to relax as she listens to him sing. That song was fitting for her and he knew it is her second favorite song in the world. Tears goes down her face.

he frowned, watching the two before he moved to help her sit up and wrapped his arms around her, lightly rubbing her side in comfort before brushing aside her tears. '' why are you crying darlin?" he didn't like seeing her tear up like that. it was a bit unsettling and he really didn't know what to do to make her happy.

Rose looks up at Rin with tears still streaming down her face like a river. She says as her legs continue to shake, “I am so tired of remembering horrible stuff that has happened to me. I am tired of being afraid of my father who everyone else thinks I should trust. I am sick and tired of always being in pain.”

he wrapped his arms around her slightly tighter as he pulled her as close as he could'' i understand darlin, your already changing your situation, you no longer live with your father and he is definitely not going to set another finger on you. '' he brushed aside her tears again and lightly kissed her cheek'' hun stop crying or i am gonna have to reach over there and smack your friend for making you cry '' he teased, glancing at Shino just to let him know he wasn't serious before looking back at rose. '' don't like seeing you cry , you should laugh, smile, its much better''

Rose looks at him a moment with a laugh and says, “No you don’t need to smack Shino. He was trying to get me to relax. Which I did but it also made me cry.” Shino sighs and says, “Singing to her helps her relax but she is not known to like happy songs.” She huffs at him and goes to eating her ice cream that Rin got for her.
