Rose sighs and continues to eat her ice cream without saying a word to the two boys. Shino says, “She has never been to an opera and it has not been to a ballet in years.” She finishes her ice cream and gets up to take care of her dishes. Shino watches her calmly and asks, “Do you think you would like to go an opera performance if you could see one?” She nods slowly.

he smiled'' could get some tickets. i know they got like.. the lion king or something. live action or whatever'' he frowned'' or the swan princess.. gotta check the papers'' he glanced at her and smiled'' you alright hun? how bout i get you the paper and whatever you like you can tell me and we can go, shino can come as well if you want. Rose looks at him a moment with a smile as her eyes were lighting up once again. She looks through the newspaper for something she might like to see. Shino looks over at her and says to Rin, “I think she is kind of caught up in her own thoughts and I also think I pissed her off.” Rose looks at him a moment with a glare before going back to looking at the newspaper. He laughs and says, “All I did is make fun of your music taste Rose. You cannot hate me long for that.”

he blinked before laughing softly shaking his head. '' ahh its all good, i am sure she will not be mad at you for long. '' he glanced back at rose as he leaned back and watched her look through the paper.. '' atleast she is happy now. thats all that counts right about now. ''

(Sorry about the late reply. I was on a trip with my family and could not get on the internet very much.) Rose finds a time for a Shakespeare play called A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She asks pointing to the times for this weekend, “Can we go to this please?” Her voice calm as looks at the two of them. Shino looks at her calmly as he could tell she still was not herself.

rin looked over at her and smiled as he glanced at the play she was pointing too'' ooo a shakespear play.. read the books, definitely good.. yes we can go to that one darlin. '' he remembered some of that play from the book he read, the jealous fairy king making mischief with the queen because she was not paying enough attention to him. or so he remembered. he knew it was good that was for sure. (( is ok.))

Rose smiles with her eyes lighting up and her bouncing up and down happily. Shino smiles and says, “I think you just made her day again.” He laughs as she continues look through the food while bouncing up and down. She throws a spoon at him hitting him on the head hard. He grabs his head and says, “What the hell was that for?” She says, “For laughing at me…”

he jumped at the loud cracking sound of the spoon hitting shino's head, pressing his hand against his mouth he choked down a laugh before clearing his throat and got up, going over to rose and lightly kissed her cheek'' calm yourself darlin.. don't want to have to take your friend to the doc for brain injury you know'' he teased, lightly ruffling her hair. '' he needs those senses in his brain., not to have them knocked out of him.''

Rose sighs and says while looking up at Rin, “Okay I guess I won’t beat him up anymore with my spoon.” She kisses his cheek softly before stealing a playful kiss on the lips. Shino looks at them and says, “No wonder you are being good for him. You actually like him.” She grabs another spoon as a sign of a warning as she did not him to spoil her mood again.

rin blinked in surprise from the stolen kiss she just did, blushing slightly he laughed as she threatened shino again'' oi . rose. '' he teased, reaching for the sppon as he pulled her close, '' now now. you behave darlin. '' he grinned, pulling her close as he nuzzled her neck before placing a gentle kiss on her cheeks. '' be nice so i can make dinner. home made pizza.. is there anything the two of you particularly like?"he took the spoon away from her just in case as he headed back to the kitchen.

Rose looks at Rin a moment as he brought her close to him. She smiles and kisses his cheek before letting him go to the kitchen. She says, “I like my pizza with lots of sauce. Ham, pepperoni, and sausage pizza with lots of sauce.” Shino says, “I like mine with mushrooms.” She looks at him with a funny face and says, “Mushrooms are gross.”

he laughed softly at rose's comment about mushrooms'' its alright rose, we all have our things that we like'' he grinned as he made atleast two pizza's, placing one on the top rack and the other one on the bottom. setting two timers for the both of them since one would cook faster then the other'' should be done soon.''

Rose sits down at the table and watches Rin cook. Shino looks at her calmly with a smile knowing she was in love with Rin. She asks, “So when was it that your mother suppose to coming?” She had just been thinking about as she was sitting here. Shino says, “You’re going to meet his mother?” She looks at Shino calmly and nods.

he looks up slightly as he popped some of the extra pepperonis in his mouth and chewed, glancing at the calander on his wall. '' uhmmmm.. tomorrow is what it looks like.. she usually calls first so no worries.. '' smiled as he looked over at shino.. '' yea, she is, its only because my mother likes to spend atleast one or two days a month with me. ''

Shino asks, “And how are you going to explain Rose to her?” Rose looks at the floor as she hears Spunky barking at her and jumps up on her lap. She kisses his nose as his wags like a rocket and she nips at his ear as she tries to get him to play. He barks at her playfully and licks her nose happily. Star gets up on her lap too and tries to play as well.

rin smiled as he brought the package of extra pepperoni's over to the table, setting them in front of Rose.. '' easy enough , my mother is never suspicious at what i do . she trusts me because she knows she has raised a good son..i actually know she will be a little happy to see that i seem to have a lady in the life.. '' he wrinkled his nose slightly '' do you have any idea who it feels to have your mother breathing down your back constantly nagging about grandchildren?"

Rose laughs some as Spunky tries to steal a pepperoni and she says, “He did not bring it over here for you two.” Spunky sits on the table and stares at the slices of meat. She takes a piece and eats it slowly. Spunky looks at her with his little eyes and wines at her. Shino says, “But you are young yet. You have plenty of time to have kids.”

he laughed and grinned'' yea.. you tell that to my mother.. maybe she will listen to you more. '' he teased, moving back into the kitchen to get a fresh chewy dog treat that smelled like it was real meat for spunky, taking him off her lap he placed him on the floor and gave him the large treat.'' there ya go buddy.. let your mom eat her own snacks.. '' he glanced at the timers before leaning against rose's chair. lightly drapping an arm around her shoulders.. '' its ok. my mom is a bit.. eccentric.. but you will soon see that once she likes someone. she will protect them like a lioness protecting her cub.''

Rose smiles some as she feels his arm around her. She says, “Every mother has their strange side. But look how decent you turned out. So she must not be that bad.” Spunky eats his treat without a bark, his tail going back and forth like crazy. She looks at Rin and kisses his cheek. She says, “I want to meet her anyway even if she is a little different.”

he grinned even as she kissed him on the cheek, looking down at her he kissed her cheek back before smiling'' oh no worries on that hun. i dont mind you meeting her at all, like i said she is a very nice woman.eccentric but nice, there hardly isn't anyone she don't like. '' he looked over at shino and smiled'' you could meet her too you know.. the more the merrier i think.. ah that reminds me. '' he grinned, '' gotta make sure i bought the stuff for her homemade enchilada's. ''

Rose smiles some as Shino shakes his head quickly at the idea of meeting his mother. He says, “I want nothing to do with mothers. They are a pain in my neck. Always have been and always will.” She says, “That s only your opinion because your mother was drug addict.” He looks at her and says, “And my dad was a drunk.”

rin arched a brow before shrugging'' my mother is neither.. she is a nurturing woman i guess you would say.. one of those... overly caring mothers who will spoil you rotten if she got her way.. '' he grinned. '' she definitely loves trying to fatten me up. always says i am too scrawny and i need meat on my bones.. ''

Rose looks at Shino a moment as he was starting to leave. She asks, “Where are you going, Shino?” He says, “I need to go to my house to get a few changes of clothes. I do not want you to be alone with just Rin. Your dad has the police force looking for you. Just in case he makes his way here, I want to help protect you.”

Rin frowned before nodding slightly '' sure, i will get some room cleaned up for ya.. '' he smiled slightly '' definitely would welcome the help when it comes to her father and the whole police force.. '' though he was sure the other officers wouldn't do much when they find he was only protecting rose.. its her father he was worried about.. '' pizza will be done by the time you get back. '' he looked to rose before placing a soft kiss on her temple. ''relax hun.. from what you have said, everyone who cares for you will probably lead your father in the far far wrong direction ''
