Magnus watched as his lover pulled some boxers on, slipping his arms around Alec's waist when he spoke the second time. "Is that a yes?" he asked, speaking softly into the Shadowhunter's ear. He was looking forward to this now. He was already mentally running through the things he owned that would fit Alec well enough, and would look good on him. "This is gonna be fun" he grinned, letting go to walk into his large closet, starting to browse even before he heard Alec's response. No matter what he said, he was going to need clothes, and Magnus was there to make sure he didn't walk out looking ridiculous.

Alec had felt himself shiver slightly with Magnus putting an arm around his waist and the soft, gentle voice promising things only Magnus could give him, warming his ear. Magnus looked only too happy to be picking clothes out for him, especially because they were Magnus' own clothes. And Magnus was choosing them. What else could make the warlock so happy? It involved Alec and designer clothes. "Uh, nothing too glittery," Alec mumbled, not wanting to walk around like a lit up Christmas tree. Magnus did that for him.

"Fine, I'll keep the glitter to myself as much as possible" Magnus promised, pushing things down on a rack of clothes before stopping to look at a shirt, then to Alec, shaking his head and moving along. "These should fit" he tossed a pair of electric blue skinny jeans out, that he knew weren't too tight, so Alec wouldn't be as opposed to them. And they would fit his strong legs better. He muttered to himself as he studied his clothes, eventually throwing out a black studded belt, and a black dress shirt. There had to be something designer in that outfit, and that shirt was it. Armani was very expensive.

"Hmph," Alec huffed when Magnus promised to keep the glitter to a minimum with him. He looked at the skinny jeans Magnus had thrown down for him. Blue, big surprise. Magnus had a thing for blue, and more blue on Alec. He looked at the belt that was brought out next, then the shirt. Alec sighed on the inside. Why did Magnus get these expensive clothing? Well, at least it was black. He put them on, looking down at them once they were fitted right. He guessed they looked kind of cool, compared to his holed stuff.

Magnus stood in the doorway and watched as Alec put the clothes on, and a grin crept across his face. He had done well, considering he hadn't spent much time on that. The black matched his hair, with the same silky texture and look, and the jeans clearly outlined his legs, and the colour made his eyes stand out even more than they already did. The belt added a bit of rebeliousness to the whole thing, and Magnus loved the overall look, especially compared to the sad clothes he normally wore. "You, my dear, look even more sexy than normal" he informed him, smirking. Isabelle would be happy when she dropped Skylar off, he knew that for sure.

Alec felt Magnus' stare on him. He knew he'd be getting a good glance over once he'd dressed. No, scratch that; While he'd dressed. Magnus liked to watch him. Alec wasn't sure why, what was so fascinating about him with the simple things he did. Alec blushed from the compliment Magnus gave him, kind of having expected some sort of comment on how he looked. He'd almost wanted one, because Magnus had picked out these clothes. "Um...th-thanks." He rubbed a hand on the back of his neck, eyes averted as he fought the flush in his cheeks. Yes, Alec was embarrassed by the same attention he loved.

Magnus chuckled lightly at the blush he got, which didn't surprise him at all. He had been expecting that kind of reaction. After lying naked together on the couch for so long, Alec was embarassed about being fully clothed. "Any time, sweets" he grinned, grabbing his favorite pair of rainbow leather pants and tugging them on, glancing up at Alec once they were on properly. "Be glad I didn't try to get you into something like this" he grinned wickedly, pulling on a tight white t-shirt with a band logo across the front in red. He was keeping it simple, since it was nearing dinner time.

The weight of the clothing was different to him since they'd been without for that long, sitting in their own body heat and letting the still air hug them. Now they had the clothes to keep them warm and the air away from them for the most part. "Yeaah," Alec replied, looking at the pants that Magnus wore so well. Rainbow was Magnus' thing, he was supposed to be a brilliant spectrum of colors. It suited him best, from what Alec knew of him. Magnus dressed dully sometimes, and he just wasn't the Magnus everyone knew and gawked at.

Magnus grinned at the short answer he got, running a hand through his hair, which was still down, and rather messy. But he didn't exactly care at the moment. The only one around was Alec, who had seen him when he woke up in the morning with raccoon eyes and his hair a matted mess of gel and colour. He didn't care what his lover saw him like now. "Now your sister had better bring Skylar back before he passes out of exaustion. He's only a week old, I think he's had enough excitement for one day" he sighed, shaking his head.

"Yeah, I think she's been out long enough. What time should it be before we call her and demand our baby back without the ransom?" he asked, looking up at Magnus. He looked simple enough, minus the bright exuberance of his pants. "I kind of think from the lack of action on Skylar's part that he has nearly enough energy to keep up with her for more than a half hour or so." Alec had a hard time keeping up with her for maybe after an hour or so. Magnus might be able to work with her on her pace because she could shop like the world might be ending tomorrow.

Magnus considered this for a moment, brushing some of his hair back. "I'd say about another half hour. She's been gone for an awefully long time." Eying Alec once more, he grinned and stepped forward, wrapping his arms around his fiance's waist, ignoring the studded belt that was lightly digging into his arms. "I should have gotten you dressed this morning. Then I wouldn't only get to see you in this for a few hours" he sighed almost wistfully before pressing a kiss to Alec's temple. "So what now?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He was up for anything, so it was Alec's decision.

"Um, you can try this again later, I guess," Alec said, adding in his head after he got back into shape so he didn't feel so self conscious in form fitting things. His baggy clothes felt safer on this subject, and felt safer anyway when he was in the ordinary. "Umm, I'm not sure what now. We could...." he trailed off, trying to think of something they could do. They'd had sex twice now, tried playing video games before getting distracted, and had been cheating in the first place. "Err, think of something...?"

Surprised, Magnus raised an eyebrow. "Really? Well I can't promise to keep the glitter away next time" he grinned, pleased that Alec would let him do it again. He would get him into what he could, while he could. Before Alec decided to take back his offer because it was getting too Magnus-y. "Thinking of something? Really? I never would have thought of that" he teased, nuzzling at him lightly. He tensed slightly when the doorbell rang, before he relaxed, realizing it must have been Isabelle. He was used to the doorbell being a client. Or his adorable little Alec, who hadn't liked to use the key he had.

Alec shook his head at the glitter idea. Glitter was bad for him, it made him stand out, that was his worst enemy. He had been enjoying Magnus cuddling him, and then heard the doorbell. Was Isabelle back sooner than they had thought she'd be? It was possible, since Magnus wasn't expecting clients anyway. He took Magnus' hand and brought him with him to get the door, where Isabelle was holding Skylar in the plastic baby carrier. He was sleeping peacefully, head tilted to the side. He had a mix of Alec's profile and Magnus' profile, a somewhat angled face. "Did you wear him out, Isabelle?" Alec asked, already knowing she had. She gave him a look saying she was proud of it. "So, what did you do all day?" he asked, looking at her.

"Went shopping," she stated matter of factly. "The stuff is in the car I borrowed from Mom. I'll leave to to get it." She stopped and looked at what Alec was wearing, dragging Magnus behind him. "Oh, and what have you two been up to today?"

Magnus knew Alec wouldn't enjoy the glitter, but he wore it every day whether he knew it or not. The warlock had a natural layer of glitter on his skin by now, and it rubbed off on his lover every day. He followed his Shadowhunter through the house, holding his hand with a smile. He wasn't surprised at all to see Isabelle at the door with a sleeping Skylar. Or to hear that they had been shopping. He wanted to know where she got the money for this. A grin crept across his face at her question. "I'll give you three guesses" he said, running his thumb over the back of Alec's hand lightly, as if reassuring him not to get embarassed.

Alec rolled his eyes. No one needed three guesses to guess what they'd spent the day doing. Magnus almost always left a mark in plain sight to give away he guessing part of the game. "The first two don't count," he added, knowing she didn't even need those two to guess right. The look she was giving them told him she knew and was enjoying the moment.

"Oh, can't imagine," Isabelle said dramatically, handing Skylar in the basket to Alec. "Okay, Magnus. You can come with me to see the stuff in the car so you know what you're transporting," she told him, not wanting to spend more time unloading what had taken her too long to load up.

Magnus laughed lightly when Alec added to his statement, and how the middle Lightwood child looked as if she was enjoying this. "I bet you'll never guess" he grinned as she handed Skylar off to Alec. "Mhmm. . . how much did you actually spend?" he raised a thin black eyebrow. Clothing could be extremely expensive. Especially the cute clothes. He headed down the steps, into the ugly street to where the car was sitting. His house was in the warehouse district of Brooklyn, but he quite liked it. The neighbors didn't complain about his parties. He snapped his fingers and the trunk opened, and he approached it, making the bags disappear quickly, sending them to the front hall of his home.

"Oh, don't worry about the money, I used my dad's credit card. I didn't spend as much as I usually do for my clothes." Isabelle could spend every penny in the world on clothes she liked, and she'd wear them as long as they complimented her exquisite looks. When they got shabby, or became last season's line, she left them in the back of her closet until she remembered someone she could give them to. Aline usually got the clothes that didn't fit her anymore. She only had half the trunk filled anyway. Her clothes would have filled the trunk and the back seat no problem. Then again, she got shoes, and accessories and everything to take up more space than small baby clothes.

Laughing, Magnus nodded. "Fair enough" he agreed, watching the things out of the trunk disappear. It was empty in seconds, and he closed the trunk, turning back to Isabelle. "Well I can tell you had fun today. But I do believe I had more fun. Thanks for watching Skylar for us" he smiled, knowing he was going to need breaks like this every once and a while. He wasn't going for another six months without sex. It was torture for him. Sex was his addiction, and he wasn't afraid to admit it.

Alec had removed Skylar from the carriage thing, setting it down by a table leg, and sitting down with Skylar, watching him sleep. What color would his eyes be? Black hair would be evident on his head eventually. Would he have fine hair like Magnus, or semi-coarse hair like Alec? He watched as things appeared in the kitchen, things Isabelle had bought. He counted the parcels, finding this a new low record for her. Her minimum was usually forty five to fifty. This was about thirty five? Alec didn't doubt Magnus had the space for this. He'd make space for it. Alec didn't know how, but he was sure Magnus would make space with his magic.

Isabelle looked at Magnus with amusement. "More fun than I had? Looks like it. Way to mark up his neck." How many red spots had she seen on her brother's neck? How many times had they gone at it? "How'd you get him in those amazingly fashionable clothes?"

Magnus's grin spread, and he tossed his hair back proudly. "Why thank you. I was rather pleased with my job on that" he loved leaving marks on Alec's neck. His marks were better than the silly little runes Shadowhunters used. He laughed at the question he was asked, still mostly unsure of that himself. "Well, I lost his pants and boxers. I'm not too sure where they went. So he had nothing to wear. But he did say I could do it again later. I think I might finally be making a breakthrough" he really hoped he was.

[Nyako-Chan]

"You lost them again, huh?" Isabelle said, looking thoughtful. "I better bring some things back from his room back at home. I wonder how many he has left." When was the last time her shopping-hating brother had gone to a store to buy new clothes. She bought him new shirts from time to time because shirts virtually fit anyone. Pants were another matter. His were so holed, they might as well be those pants people ripped up on purpose to look sexy. She sometimes wondered if she needed to wonder what Magnus thought of Alec's ripped jeans. "The blue is a nice touch, but it could have been darker." She had liked the belt, but it just wasn't her brother. It looked good, sure, but knowing him, having lived with him, it didn't feel much like Alec.

Magnus shrugged, walking up the steps to his front door. "Yeah, you might need to. As much as I enjoy dressing him up, he'll want his own clothes" he had no idea how many Alec had left. He frequently disappeared his lover's clothing to strange places, and they were never found again. "I know, but I don't have any darker. I tend to get the brightest colours, in case you hadn't noticed" he shrugged again. He knew the whole appearance didn't really suit Alec as a person, but it looked damn sexy on him.

"True enough," she said, recalling he wore dark colors on rare occasions. When was the last time she'd seen him wear a dark colored shirt? His pants were dark more often than his shirts. Eyes weren't always drawn to pants colors unless they were unusually bright, or extremely tight. Magnus did both on a regular basis. "We should go shopping some time, you and I," she offered, wanting to try out a day of shopping with someone who was her equal or more on the scale of spending. Not that Magnus spent money. He just poofed his stuff home. Maybe she could get Magnus to poof some stuff for her home.

Dark clothes were seldome worn on Magnus, unless they had a bright colour complimenting or accenting it. He grinned at the offer, liking the sound of that. Shopping with Isabelle would prove to be an interesting experiance. And he was well aware that many girls wanted a gay best friend to go shopping with. "Sounds like fun. It's a date then. Well, Alec might get jealous if it's a date, but he needn't worry. I don't swing that way" he grinner, pushing the door of his house open and walking in, walking past the baby carrier and into the living room, joining his family on the couch.
