Magnus nodded at the answer, wondering idly about the glare Kai gave Cayden, but he didn't ask. "Revenge is always nice. Brings in lots of money. Alot of people need warlocks to help with their petty revenge schemes" he glanced up at the sun, conjuring himself a pair of sunglasses discreetly, sliding them on over his cat eyes. He understood where Cayden was coming from what he said he didn't trust humans. He had no idea what to expect in the next few minutes, past the gate. Approaching it, he glanced at the paper that the older of the two revenge seekers pulled out, and the door started to open. He stepped through after Cayden, grimacing slightly as his boots hit dirt, a promise of the hours to come. Following off into the forest, Magnus pushed his sunglasses up to rest in his hair, staying up as they sat in the gelled spikes.

Cayden stepped into a clearing where three 'people' sat in a circle talking to one another quietly. Two of them looked right at them as they walked up. Two identical looking blonds with very defined and angular facial features with long noses, theirs eyes a blueish grey and their ears ending in a point. The boy had a bow and quiver strapped to his back and he frowned at Magnus, the girl on the other hand stood right up and smiled at him. She stuck a hand out to the newcomer, "Hi! I'm Risa, wow, I was NOT expecting you to be so...HOT..." she said the disbelief very obvious in her voice. Her blond hair fell to the bottom of her shoulder blades, while her brothers was the same length but tied up tight. The other girl had her head tilted in their general direction but she saw nothing, her sightless eyes were an off white and pupilless as was normal for a Well. Her frame was incredibly thin and her hair a graying shade of blond. Her ears were a good 6 inches long and were pointed like the elves. She had a light frown on her face, immediately having a bad feeling, because of how Risa was reacting to this newcomer. "This is my brother Shay, and the other girl is Adaline." She said. Cayden sighed as he sat down in the soft grass next to Shay who was watching Magnus with suspicion. Kai was standing at the edge of the trees being oddly quiet.

Magnus looked around the small circle of people, two elves and a Well, he knew instantly. They weren't too hard to pick out. The elves looked identical, so he figured that they were twins or something. The female one stood up and held out her hand, which he took. He wasn't expecting the words that came out of her mouth, but he grinned widely. "Well most people don't. Nice to know you noticed though" he replied, his amusement shown on his face. He nodded to the other two that he was introduced to, committing their names to memory. "Pleased to meet you" he greeted the two before taking a seat in the grass, only worrying for a moment about his pants. Grass wouldn't do any damage to the leather. He crossed his long legs, leaning back and resting his palms on the ground, looking around the circle expectantly.

Risa's smile didn't fade at all as she checked Magnus out, she sat down next to her brother and leaned closer to her brother speaking quickly in an Elven language, "Two pretty guys! I'm so lucky, this means I must have a chance with one of them, don't you think, Shay?" her excitement was incredibly obvious and she was pretty sure that no one else knew what she was saying. She knew that Kai, Adaline and Cayden didn't know Elven...she had no idea if Magnus did but decided to chance it. Shay sighed and shook his head.

"Don't be so sure..." he replied. He looked around sent a short glare to Magnus, he hated his appearance, he didn't look like he was out trying to hide from anyone, more like he was going to be having fun. His gaze rested on Cayden and he couldn't help but have a tiny smile put at his features. The silverette was staring at the grass by his feet and frowning, "You know Cayden, you look completely different with your hair short like that, are you sure you aren't going to keep it like that?" he asked, he didn't often say much, but, in absence of comments from Adaline he thought he would say something. Cayden glared at him.

"I hate having short hair. It feels weird." He said sharply, "Why don't I cut off that precious ponytail of yours while you sleep, and you can wait two years while it grows back." He added looking down at the grass. He realized these people didn't know how quickly his hair grew...well they were going to find out and they were going to find out fast. He turned to Adaline, "So are we ready to head out, Adaline?" he asked. She nodded.

"We are, it's directly south of here, so lets get going." She said as she stood up, she was the second tallest in the group, though Wells tended to be taller then humans and Elves were shorter. She headed off into the forest with the sort of graceful maneuvering that is specific to Wells, knowing exactly where every tree was so she could move and avoid. It was rare that Adaline acted like she was blind though that was true with most Wells. The elves stood up and followed her and so did Kai. Cayden was a bit slower to get up and start to follow them.

"Welcome to hell..." Cayden said to Magnus under his breath, it was what he thought of the group as. An annoying little brat, a rude know it all Well, and an obsessive elf; the only one he could deal with was Shay, none the less, this was his own personal hell, as though he was never allowed to have a good life. He looked Magnus over one more time this time noticing the leather pants he was wearing, finally, someone who would understand how uncomfortable they could her. He looked down at his own leather pants for a moment with a slight smirk before he started off after the group.

Magnus was fully aware that he was being checked out, but he said nothing, simply studying each person in the group, noting Kai acting emo by the trees. Risa sat down and leaned towards Shay, starting to speak quickly. Magnus could speak many languages. More than he could count off the bat. But he was fluent in a few of the Elven languages. He chuckled lightly at the words Risa spoke. Too bad for her, he was bi, but leaning more towards gay every year. While being alive as long as he was, it tended to vary sometimes. He was positive that she didn't have a chance with him, and Cayden, from what he had seen, wasn't going to give her much of a chance either. He had to agree with Shay's words, but he raised an eyebrow to the glare. He hadn't even done anything yet. Protective of his sister maybe?

He glanced at Cayden's hair, wondering how long it was before, if it looked so different now. He was quite curious. He had gone through a few long-haired phases, but the longest it had ever gotten was just past his shoulders. He was happy with the length it was at now. He grinned at the threat that Cayden shot at him. They all obviously got along so well. This was going to be interesting. The Well, Adaline, still hadn't said anything. That is, until the silver-haired boy spoke to her. Great. He wasn't looking forward to this one bit. He got to his feet as well, letting out a breath through his nose.

"Well, I can't say I didn't expect to get myself landed in hell eventually" Magnus shrugged, slipping his thumbs in his belt loops. He could tell that Cayden was looking him over, and a hint of a smile played at his lips, but he said nothing, merely glancing out of the corner of his eye at the silverette. He quite liked what he wore. He had something similar himself, but wouldn't have worn it for this. Other than his leather pants. They were one of his favorite pairs. His favorite were his leather pants of the rainbow variety.

Cayden let out a chuckle, "Well in all my years, I've never left." he shook his head and continued forward ducking under a low hanging tree branch as they stalked into thicker forests.

Once they had headed out Kai was back to being their 'leader' walking out in front of Adaline with a serious look on his face. There was no defined path that they were following so the uneven ground lifted them and lowered them, the branches on the trees at points hung low enough that even Kai would have to duck under them, none of them were at all concerned about how someone as tall as Magnus was going to manage getting through. Every once and a while Adaline would give lead Kai in the right direction but for the most part they stayed silent except for Risa singing an Elven song under her breath as she walked, no one minded because she was very musically inclined, as were most elves. It was rare that they did talk to one another, and when they did, it was usually to make fun of Kai, and the talking was usually done by Cayden. Ocassionally Risa would speak up if she found the need to complain about something. Adaline would talk only to guide them along and to insult Cayden when he decided to pick on Kai.

Risa fell back past Cayden to walk next to Magnus, she flipped her hair lightly as she spoke, "I just realized I didn't catch your name." She said with a wide, white smile. Cayden sighed and shook his head.

"Good luck." The silverette said under his breath as he knew from experience how clingy Risa would get now that she had her sights set and nothing was going to change her mind. Risa shot him a look, it was a glare, but not a very meaningful one, she knew how much of a jackass Cayden was but still couldn't be mean to him, he was to pretty, she quickly turned her attention back to Magnus.

Magnus eyed the low hanging branch for a moment before following under, ducking his head and stooping slightly, not wanting to ruin his hair. If he had known that he would be walking under low trees the entire time he probably wouldn't have come. But it would be rude to back out now, and he did have his manners. The only speech was generally just banter between the members of this little group, and the occasional curse from him as he tried to avoid ruining his hair, or clotheslining himself on a tree branch. Stupid short people really knew how to pick a route. He picked his way over the uneven ground easily, his long legs making it less effort to keep up.

He glanced over as Risa dropped back to walk beside him. "It's Magnus" he said, grinning back at her. Even if he wasn't interested, it was nice to have somebody fawning over him. He was slightly curious as to what Cayden meant, but he was sure he would figure it out. He was sure that the other pretty boy that Risa had been talking about earlier was Cayden, so the lack of anger in her glare didn't surprise him at all. But he had to agree with her taste in men.

Risa giggled slightly, "I like that name." she decided. Cayden rolled his eyes glad they couldn't see it. She was quiet for a moment before she started to speak again. "So you really know magic?" she asked looking at him with bright eyes pushing her hair behind her pointed ears. She couldn't help but be fascinated with it, no one in their group had ever seen real magic, Cayden's powers were the closest any of them had ever come to seeing anything very out of the ordinary, but he liked to keep them to himself and only used them when it was necessary. Cayden was tugging at his hair, it had been cut for only about an hour maybe an hour and a half or two hours and it hadn't grown much at all and he was quickly getting impatient with it.

Magnus laughed slightly, running a hand through his hair. He liked his name too. He thought it suited him. He nodded at the question, noting how interested she looked. Having dealt with it for 800 years, he didn't find it all that interesting, so he had to remind himself that not many people actually could do magic. "It comes quite in handy, I must admit" he said, thinking of all the times he was hungry but too lazy to get up and make something. It made life so simple. He could be as rich as he ever wanted. He saw Cayden tugging at his hair, apparently not liking how short it was, which brought him to wonder again how long it was before. He made a mental note to ask later.

Risa smiled and nodded, "I bet, can you show me something?" she asked with a large smile, her eyes practically glowing. She was trying to close the space between herself and Magnus as much as possible, she didn't really care if he noticed or not as long as he didn't shoo her away. She knew the others were probably interested in Magnus's magic, even Cayden, though he would probably never actually admit that.

"HA!" Cayden let out the sharp bark of a laugh as he looked over his shoulder at the two of them sending Magnus a look before looking at Risa, "He'd probably charge us extra for a demonstration." He stated shaking his head and looking back ahead. Shay was looking over his shoulder at Magnus and Risa, he had taken his bow of his back and had an arrow cocked, he was like their sentry and was constantly alert, not that any of them complained about it. He looked both interested and frustrated. Risa stuck her tongue out at the back of Cayden's head before turning back to Magnus, her arm brushing his.

"You wouldn't really charge us for something little would you?" she asked with the slightest pout.

Magnus noticed Risa moving closer, starting to understand what Cayden meant now. He raised an eyebrow at the question, about to answer, when the silverette let out a laugh. His eyebrows rose, not sure whether to feel insulted or not. He wasn't going to make them pay extra to demonstrate. He was planning on doing something simple, like getting himself some lunch. He hadn't eaten yet. A sandwich was sounding good right about now. He glanced from Cayden to Shay, then to Risa when he felt her arm brushing his. She really was trying to get close. He didn't bother moving away. This was slightly entertaining. He bit back a snicker at the pout he recieved. If only she knew how much he preferred men. "Nah, I'm not that cheap" he said, shaking his head. He put one hand out, palm up, and snapped his fingers, his glittery nail polish catching the sun. A sandwich appeared in his palm, and he closed his fingers around it. "Lunch time" he said simply, shrugging one shoulder. He didn't care if anybody found his demonstration a bit odd.

Risa brightened as he said he would. She stared intently at his palm as he held it out, when the sandwich appeared she wondered if she had blinked or something, she didn't really understand but it sure was fascinating. "Wow..." she didn't know what else to say, she was to dumbstruck by just the little bit of magic. "That's amazing." she said. She heard Cayden sigh and looked at him. He spoke quietly but still loud enough to be heard, especially with her heightened sense of hearing.

"That, is a simple matter of transportation. Don't think he honestly poofed that out of complete nothingness, because it has to have come from somewhere, it's a basic rule that I would have thought and elf would know, matter can't be created or destroyed...but moved, or in his case, transported, is a completely different story." He explained, he did briefly wonder how long it would be before Magnus hated him. "You've also got to remember that what I do is not considered 'magic' so don't go fooling similar things to it as well, just in case." He looked over his shoulder at Magnus with a small frown his dead grey eyes turned into a sharp look, not really a glare, but very similar. "None the less, I'm not going to be impressed until he opens that damn door." Cayden stated lifting his chin slightly. A small smile wavered on Shay's face at Cayden's long, partially pointless explanation.

Risa actually glared at Cayden, "Cayden, you're just jealous, cause whatever you can do isn't as awesome as what Magnus can do. You KNOW that you're actually very impressed." She said sharply.She looked up to Magnus and smiled before glaring at the back of Cayden's head. "Why are you such a fucking asshole...pretty people shouldn't have such terrible attitude." she said in Elven, "Shay, can you shoot him in the foot for being mean to my new boyfriend?" She said looking at her brother who rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"No." was all he said, not caring that he spoke in English, it didn't really matter. Cayden gave him a look but said nothing. Kai and Adaline were still working out where they were going and though they all knew Adaline could hear everything they were saying she was to preoccupied making sure Kai wasn't straying off the path they were to be following.

Magnus raised an eyebrow as Cayden started his little monologue. He bit into the sandwich, smiling slightly to himself. At least Cayden had some brains. It was just simple transportation, and he was going to explain that, but apparently he was beaten to it. And apparently Cayden wasn't impressed. The look he got made him raise an eyebrow. He wasn't sure if that was a challenge or not, but he had a feeling it was. "Yeah yeah, I'll open your damned door" he muttered before taking another bite of his sandwich. It didn't exactly surprise him when Risa defended him, which he didn't exactly need, but whatever. From the smile, he was sure she was trying to impress him with that. He could easily cuss Cayden out, but he wasn't going to bother.

When the girl started to speak in Elven however, he smirked slightly against his lunch, until the end. His eyes widened and he choked slightly on the sandwich. "Wait, WHAT!?" he choked out, swallowing what was in his mouth. He was sure he had heard right, however rarely he spoke in any Elven language. Sure, now they would know he spoke it, but it didn't matter to him. He just had no idea when he had agreed to being Risa's boyfriend. He didn't even recall her asking.

Cayden looked over his shoulder with a cocked eyebrow at Magnus's sudden exclamation...he had had no idea that this guy would be able to understand the two elves, none of the others could so they often spoke to one another in their own language. Cayden glanced to Shay who looked surprisingly amused as though he had seen this coming Cayden was sure some sort of explanation was coming so he stayed quiet and waited. Risa though was silent for a short while.

Risa blinked a couple times as Magnus questioned her before she started to slowly realize he could understand Elven. A blush started to creep onto her face her mouth a thin line, her eyes wide, "Y-you understood what I...what I said...?" she question, not that she really need to ask. "Oh my gosh!" Her hands shot up to her mouth her eyes still wide, her cheeks a bright red colour. "I...I...I didn't mean it. I swear. I..." she didn't know what to say as she looked around. She took a sharp breath before breaking into a run. Being an elf she moved very quickly, faster then anyone else in the group, including her own brother who only couldn't because of the slight extra weight he carried. She darted off into the forest ahead.

"Slow down! Do you even know where you're going!?" Adaline shouted after Risa.

"YES!" Risa replied as she disappeared into the green and brown of the forest in a quick flash of blond. Cayden blinked a couple times, falling into step with Magnus though standing still a good foot away from him.

"Hmm, what did she say?" he asked with an amused smile knowing it was bound to be good. "I'm guessing you understand what I was talking about now though, am I right?" he added with a laugh.

Magnus was still a bit shocked, but he regained his composure in a moment, simply waiting for an explaination. He could almost see the understanding click as Risa's face heated up, and she stuttered. "Um, yes" he replied simply, now wondering why he ever bothered to learn so many languages. This would have been so much better if he hadn't understood. If he wasn't a bit creeped out, he would have been amused with her reaction, the hands covering her mouth and the wide eyes. He blinked once when she broke into a run, only to get yelled at. "I. . . am so confused" he muttered. He had no idea where her sudden decision that he was her boyfriend had come from, but apparently she was embarassed by it.

Magnus wasn't surprised when Cayden fell back to walk with him. He shook his head, laughing slightly. "Yeah, I get it now. But, ehh, she asked Shay to shoot you in the foot for. . . being mean to her new boyfriend" he explained it, shaking his head and taking a bite of his sandwich. He had to admit, despite what was going on, it was a good sandwich.

Cayden blinked a couple times at what she had said before he started to laugh. "Wow she's never called me her boyfriend, that sucks, have fun dealing with her." He said throwing his head back in his laughter looking up at the sky through the tops of the trees.

"Actually, Cayden, she has." Shay said in his low, quiet tone of voice. Cayden stopped laughing and looked at him in mild disbelief. Shay shrugged, "She does it everyone she finds attractive, calling them her boyfriends or lovers behind their backs, or in your cases, right in front of you in a different language." Shay looked at Magnus, "As you can tell she was not expecting anyone who looks like a human to be able to understand elven since there are very few humans who have ever really met elves." He explained.

"You've got to be kidding me..." Cayden said with a sigh, shaking his head. "Why must I be so stunningly attractive." He said, Shay rolled his eyes and he noticed Adaline twitch her head to the side slightly at the statement.

Magnus shot Cayden a glare, sighing slightly, but he was tempted to laugh as well. He had never had somebody call him their boyfriend falsely before. He was about to comment when Shay spoke, and he grinned. "Ha, see, I'm not the only one" he said, finishing his sandwich and folding his long arms across his chest. It was a bit strange that Risa did that to everybody she thought was hot, but he understood, sortof. He never really had to go through that. "Yeah, I get that" he said, nodding. Most people didn't expect him to be fluent in over eighty different languages, which made sense. "Well at least she thinks I'm attractive. I admire her taste in men" he said, voicing his earlier thoughts.

He glanced to Cayden, his gaze sweeping down his body again, liking the way his coat showed skin like that, revealing that he was wearing nothing underneath it. "Hn, I don't know. Why must you be so stunningly attractive?" he asked, his gaze flicking up to Cayden's face as he spoke, smirking slightly.

Cayden glanced up at Magnus at the comment his gaze sharpening into a glare, even if the comment was slightly embarrassing he wasn't going to let that show. He sighed, "I've looked better, I probably look terrible with my hair like this." he said running a hand through his short rather spiked hair again, it had been short for all of two hours and he was pissed off with it. A week or two wouldn't go by fast enough. He wanted his hair back to normal now. He was going to forever hold a grudge on Kai for even suggesting that he should cut his hair, let alone actually cut it off. He looked at Magnus again, "I don't think Risa actually knows if you're attractive or not, the sun probably shone off all that glitter and she thought she was blinded by your beauty." he stated with a smirk.

Magnus's smirk turned into a grin at the sharp look he recieved. "On the contrary, it looks good" he assurred him, laughing slightly. It was nice to know he could bother some people with simple comments. At the comment about the glitter he laughed again, shaking his head. "I'll admit, it's quite possible. But I'll have you know, under all this I do believe I'm quite sexy" he lifted his chin slightly. "But watch it, glitter is contagious. Once it's on you, good luck getting it off. And I might just feel like infecting you" he grinned, wondering what Cayden would look like with glitter on. Not too bad, he decided.

Cayden shook his head as Magnus spoke not agreeing with him, sure it was very possible that he did look sexy without all that make-up on but Cayden would have to see it to believe it. At the thought of being 'infected' with the glitter a slightly disgusted look found it's way onto his face. He shone enough with just his hair he didn't need any extra sparkle. "Ah, I would prefer it if you didn't..." Cayden said shaking his head and looking at the ground as he ducked under another branch. He didn't want to know what infecting someone entailed either, and he did hope he never would.

Magnus was enjoying this. Sure, he had to avoid being smacked in the face with tree branches, he didn't enjoy walking, and he had to work after, but he was being paid, he had a stalker, and he got to hit on somebody. It all balanced out well. "You sure? Ah well, offer's always open if you change your mind" he grinned, running his fingers through his hair. He glanced up at the sky through the trees, glad to see sun and not clouds. If it rained, he would be pissed. He would literally melt. All of his makeup would run, his hair would be deflated, and he would be mostly de-sparkled. "What a nice day" he sighed, looking ahead of him again. "The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the stalkers are running. I mean, squirrels" sure Risa wasn't exactly stalking him, but it was close enough.

Cayden shook his head, that was the last thing he was planning. He lowered his head and let his mind wander and he couldn't help but wonder if he really wanted all of them to find out the information that was being held in that building...he would never tell them, but he already knew exactly what was being kept there. It was all information he did not care for, especially when free, it had nothing to do with him now. Though he knew the information in there would contain his name frequently. He looked up again as Magnus spoke, there was not a cloud in the sky. He chuckled slightly at the reference to Risa, "Ah, yes it is a nice day...I hate rain...though it was only a hassle when my hair was long...so maybe a bit of rain wouldn't be a bad thing. At least right now my hair won't take an entire 24hours to dry." he paused before smirking at Magnus, "Though I guess rain would be terrible for you, all done up like that."

Magnus wondered again how long Cayden's hair had been. It had to be extremely long if it took 24 hours to dry. But he could dry his hair in an instant, so even if his hair was past his ankles he wouldn't have to wait for it to dry. "Yes. The first sight of rain and I'm either inside or I have an umbrella he nodded. He didn't like for other people to see him melting like that. It was painfull enough to know that it was happening, let alone that people could see it. "How long was your hair before this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. He was curious. He was wondering if it was Cayden's natural hair colour as well, but that question could wait. It didn't look like he had roots or anything, so he was unsure about that.

Cayden nodded, he didn't have such choices himself, especially not now, though he hadn't ever really experienced ran before a few weeks ago so it was still strange, though he had heard about it. There were many things outside that he had never seen before but seemed to be vaguely familiar. He paused at the question of how long his hair had been before he cut it. "Hmm... About my calves, maybe my ankles if I let it out of its tie." He said with a shrug and a small smirk. "Isn't that right Shay?" Cayden asked the quiet elf who glanced back at him and nodded. "I'm still not used to it...I do hope it grows back fast enough." he said with a hint of amusement in his voice. "And just so you know, yes the silver is my natural colour." he added as an afterthought pretty sure that Magnus would be curious.

Magnus raised his eyebrows at the answer, surprised. Sure, he had figured that it was long, but he didn't think it would be that long. "Holy shit. How the hell did you manage that? You've gotta be what, eighteen?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Sure Shay had confirmed it, but it didn't make any sense. Was it even possible to have hair that long in only eighteen years? He pictured it though, and decided it would suit him more than the short hair would. Too bad it would take so long to grow back in. "What, you're phsychic now too?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "That was my next question" he glanced up just in time to duck under a tree branch.
