"Well, I suppose that's true enough." Cale said. "And if you weren't as unique as you are, I may not be as interested in you as I am." He offered her his hand then, helped her to her feet, and escorted her to the tent.
"...I bet you wouldn't say the same if I tried to nip your butt, Mari." he teased. "Now, I'll be right back. I want to check on the stallions."
Zipping the tent door as he left, still naked and still barefoot, Cale crossed the campsite and inspected his horses thoroughly, looking for any bites or insects. He fastened their blankets onto them, and made sure both were well tied to their ground stakes before kissing each stallion on his nose. He patted them, bade them goodnight, and then rejoined his lady in the tent, wiping his feet clean on the towel in front of the door. He lied down with her then and pulled the blankets up around them both. "Now, where were we?"

Mari yawned softly as she pulled into her driveway, she was a little tired but after spending the most wonderful night of her life with Cale, it was worth it. Thinking about last night put a smile on her face again , atleast up until she barely got into her drive way before there was a loud pop, a hiss, then smoke came out of the hood of her truck before it completely died, groaning in dismay, she got out, lucky that she managed to get into her driveway before it did that. ", popping the hood she ran inside her house and got the mini fire extinguisher , coming out she thoroughly sprayed the engine to help prevent a fire on the old heap.

Once she was sure it wasn't going to bust into flames, she lifted the hood and let it air out for a bit as she went inside, cleaned up,checked in on the owlette and gave her, her meds, before coming back outside and set up the stalls for the horses that Cale would be bringing over later on that day. She didn't have to worry about the cow pens and such since they where already set up and fixed and just in need of being filled.

Once that was done she went back inside, grabbed a small breakfast since she was starving, then checked her phone messages, glaring at the machine with disgust when she heard her ex's voice on it, stating he was going to try and come down to see how she was doing and what not, hitting the erase button she rolled her eyes, not believing a single word that bastard uttered. Ignoring his message that he had left, she changed into her low rider hip hugging jeans, with boots, and a white tank top since it was hot outside, then headed outside to work on her truck. determined not to let anything ruin the good mood she was in, since cale himself had made her feel good.

She spent atleast four hours working on her truck, she had to push it towards her little work garage where her father kept all his tools and stuff for working on the truck and other farm equipment, leaning under the hood again she reached in and pulled out a few more things , wrinkling her nose at them '' blast.. shot too." muttered, she was covered in oil and grease from her truck, pretty sure she had some smeared on her face , she knew her pants and shirt had gotten it, which is why she wore them since they where the old ones.. tossing the piece onto the table she looked up as she heard of course Cale's truck pulling in, grinning she gave a small wave, the trailer he had was huge and more then like he had another truck following him since she had bought alot of animals. she was just glad she had a large driveway that he could turn around in and such to unload the animals easily . " hey, was wondering when you would show up. " earlier that morning had been tricky on leaving, trying not to alert anyone on anything that might have happened, especially MJ who apparently would have been highly ticked off if she knew what Mari and cale had done.

Cale also was in a spectacular mood. He'd certainly been grateful last night that he'd pack a couple more rubbers. Thinking pleasantly of the evening, he tapped the horn a couple of times, grinning broadly as he parked his truck.
He got out, and opened his arms to her. "Greasy or not, you're still gorgeous."

Afterward, he went around to the back of the trailer, unlatched it, and started to unload the animals. First came Zenith, the breathtaking palomino, and then a couple of the broodmares she'd purchased, and then last, but not least, all the way in the back, he led out another surprise--Triton.
"He was a little disappointed when you weren't the one coming to see him, so I decided to bring him over. While one stallion's good, two, better."

" she glanced to her truck then back at him slightly annoyed" Old Red finally broke.. guess its time to have it retire. think its going to be a complete rebuild on the engine if i want it to work again.
