He gave a grunt, enjoying the feel of her thumb on his hand. " well, there are not that many nobles out there any more You know. " he turned to her slightly. " and the ones i know are way to young for me. " He murmured lightly. Feeling a warmth spread through him as she kissed his cheek. " Who knows, laws where meant to change too. Maybe this decade will show some new rules."

She smiles a little as he grunted. Well that was sorta cute. She would still have to be on guard though. His adorableness was infectious and it clouded her judgment. She says as she runs her fingers over his hand, "That will only happen if your parents change their views on non noble people." She felt warm when she was close to him. But her heart was not ready to put everything on the line for him. They could get seriously hurt. What if he didn't like her after he got to know her? Or he later found someone better?

He gave another slight grunt before leaning in close" You know, that can still happen. My parents will not encourage under age nobles to marry me. Let alone go to those who they do not get along with." he looked to her and smiled" yes, my parents have other nobles they do not get along with. Shocking isn't it?"

Yuki couldn't help but giggle as he pointed out that his parents couldn't get along with everybody. She says, "Now that I'd like to see. Your father always looks like he's ready for a fight whenever we see him on TV he's always serious." She liked that he was coming closer. She leaned into him a little. If he was willing to come closer to her she might as well meet him halfway and try to.

He laughed again as he grinned over at her. loving the fact she came closer as well ." That is just his business look dear. He has a soft side. Well, only two people have seen it. Me as a child. and My mother still as of today. He loves her dearly. will give her anything she wants. " he loved the feelnig him being all huddled close to her like this. it was a great feeling. " My dad is no laid back person though. He will put his foot down with other nobles. I think one year he actually banned one noble family from even setting foot in the area. " he shook his head lightly " that ban has recently been lifted however from what i have heard. "

Yuki thought about this a moment. "Sounds like your dad is a strong man." She did not mind being close to him. She looks in his eyes and says, "Come on. We don't want you to get sick or in trouble." She takes his hand and guides him back inside. She felt like her heart was going to explode. If his parents saw them together they would probably throw her out.

He gave a slight pout but took her hand anyways, Following her inside." it is not even that cold out. and I am as healthy as a horse some would say." He loved the feeling of her hand in his as he looked around." Dad is definitely a strong man. Don't think I have ever seen him lose a debate or some sort of contract he has worked out."

Yuki laughs softly as he pouted some. “I would rather not risk it. Kade you are the prince. If you were to get sick because of me, I would feel so guilty for it and be in big trouble.” She knew it was easy to get ammonia this time of year. People could still die from that here. She looks back at them once they are safe and sound. “Your dad has to be like that. He is a king. He has the whole country’s needs on his shoulders.”

He gave her a soft smile" Well then lets get inside so I don't get sick. Don't want you feeling all guilty because of it. " He gave a light sigh." Oh I know. " He frowned" tomorrow I am supposed to be with him for studies. Proper procedures on how to work out problems on contracts and such. "

Yuki looks at the time and says, "I would be comping at the bit to leave. I have always been good at problem solving. But I know some things have to be experienced instead of drilled into your head." She brushes her fingers through her hair. "I know life for you is difficult. Always having to do what others want and think is best. Putting your own dreams on hold."

Yuki blushed deep red as he kissed her cheek. "Well my brain is open any time you need to pick it." She looks at Kade with a smile. She says, "I don't need anything for tomorrow. I should have a few of your outfits done by tomorrow. Just not your riding outfit. Still waiting on the delivery of the material. But the delivery should be here by tomorrow night."

He grinned, loving the color of the blush on her cheeks as he leaned up " I think I will take you up on that.. Do not worry over the out fits. I know I will get them soon enough. I do not wish to rush anything. Rushing will only cause mistakes actually. from what my father says. "

" Kade!" a female voice rang out as a woman headed down the stairs. A smile on her lips " Now how come you didn't tell your mother you had a guest?"

Kade jumped from hearing his name but relaxed the moment he saw who it is. Looking to Yuki with a sheepish look. before looking back to his mother " Sorry mother. slipped my mind. . Yuki. " he lightly took her hand and turned her to his mother. " Meet my mother , Lady Merideth."

Yuki ignored the blush on her cheeks as they were interrupted by his mother. She quickly bowed in respect. "Hello your majesty." She was nervous all over again. She says, "My name is Yuki Ame. It is a pleasure to meet you Ma'am." She looks at her with a smile trying to be polite and proper. She was wondering why he would not have told his parents about her coming here.

Merideth smiled and waved her hand" no need to do that while you are here. We are not out in the open dear. " she tilted her head and smiled again " what a lovely name. "

Kade grinned " I hired her on as the new seamstress mother. she is really good with clothing. "

She frowned" didn't know you where firing Mason. " She eyed him critically before glancing at his clothing." I do say though. your clothing looks like it fits better.. " looking back to Yuki" Tell me. how long have you done this?"

Yuki tenses up some and says, "Well I have been working with the Blazing Star fashion company for three years. But I have been working with clothes designing and making clothes since I was about 8. So I have had a lot of experience. I noticed at his birthday that his clothes were too tight and restricting his movement. I loosened them up for him." She felt embarrassed now. "I worked for Mr. Biget, the owner of the company."

She smiled warmly as yuki explained" oh I see. Mr. Biget you say? I have read a few articles of the company in a few of the magazines, Puts out alot of good clothing. " She looked at Kade again , reaching over to test his clothing. " Well Miss Yuki, looks to me you know what you are doing. I was going to retire Mason anyways. " she frowned" Think as of late, he was just.. too tired and didn't want to do it any more."

Kade nodded, looking to Yuki. " It is why i hired her. She did very well. and I know i need new clothing."

Merideth nodded" you always have good instincts son. I was just going out to the garden for a little bit. Having a hard time sleeping. " She looked to him again. " best be in bed early tonight. Your father wants you up early in the morning."

Yuki looks at Kade a moment. He was a lot like his mother. Both had an easy personality. She says, "If you two will excuse me. I have a few new designs I want to get down on paper before I go to bed." She was glad to have met him and his mother. But she was not looking forward to meeting his father. He was scary to her.

She goes to work on the designs once she gets to her room. After that she gets to work sewing outfits for Kade and his mother. His mother's measurements were easy for her to get within just looking at her. By morning she had twenty new outfits each ready for them to try out. She had the staff bring them to each of them so they had the option to wear them. Relaxing suits and dresses that they could wear causal or formal.

Kade blinked" Oh.. okay. Good night Miss Yuki. " he would have walked her up the stairs but she was already going and his mother kept him there for about thirty more minutes before he was able to get to bed.

In the morning he was already up and dressed and in the study, the door was open but he wasn't paying attention as he went over documents. a headache brewing as he tweaked things here and there for his father.

Yuki saw him once she saw he was awake. She could see he was getting a headache. She goes in the kitchen and makes him a special tea. Mixed with herbs and fresh fruit juice. She used it to get rid of her stressed induced headaches. She walks in and puts the tea by him. The fresh smell of peaches filled the room. "This should help you with the headache."

He was so deep in thought that he didn't even realize she was awake and even came in. The smell is what brought his thoughts out first. Blinking, he looked up at her and leaned into the chair. " wha?.. Ohh. " he looked to the cup before picking it up, closing his eyes and giving a slight sigh . " This is very good. Thank you Miss Yuki." He smiled up at her. " Sorry I am not being a very good host. " He got up and put a folder away. " By the way, Mother says she loves the clothing. " He looked to her. " Did you even get sleep last night?"

Yuki looks at him with a smile. She was glad that he liked what she made him. Hopefully it would help with his headache. She says to him sitting down in a chair next to him, "I am glad that your mother liked the clothes. I did sleep a little but not much. The creative ideas for clothes wouldn't leave me alone. So I kind of just had to create them while I had them on my mind. So what has you working so hard that you have fumes coming out your ears?"

He laughed softly as he looked to her." Ah I see, Creative idea's got you awake. " He nodded before sitting down again and then rubbed his temple as he took another sip of the delicious tea. " mmm well, tweaking a few stipulations in a couple of contracts for my father. He may be smart, but I am good at catching things that the other party is trying to pull over his head. " He tapped the paper on the desk. " This is one is about a farmland somewhere out to the east. Its way our main stock comes from. Dad was allowing them to use the land to grow crops , well the part that did not have live stock on. they just forgot to mention how much . or should i say how less they would pay the workers. "

Yuki listen to him talk about the contract. It sounded like the workers were being jipped out of a good honest pay wage. A lot of people were like this. Not many kids about the working man as long as their pockets for being filled. "Many higher up people will do this if they can get away with it. You should come up with a clause so that if they act on this sort of behavior they forfeit their land to the workers. They will be so scared to lose their land that they will correct behavior. At least that is what I would do. But I could be wrong I am just a commonor."

He arched a brow. " no you are very right. We support the right for proper wages. Not many families can live off of just the slightest amount. " he turned the contract to her so she could see the revision's he had done. " Not only did i raise the pay for them, But if the women are unable to help and its just the men of the family. then they get to live on sight free of rent as long as they can do the smallest of task. Even that is just down to making sure the plants have water. " He smiled warmly. " Mostly the men do the heavy work. also " he pointed to the bottom " if the men are injured and unable to help out for a while,t hey cannot be kicked off the property without having help first. "
