Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
She took his hand as he helped her out and then headed towards the animals with him. She took care do the animals and got used to them quickly but then evening was coming and she frowned when her Uncle called her over "Sayuri, we have to go now I'm afraid" he said "But before that I want to speak to young Alem first." he smiled and looked to him and Sayuri was sent elsewhere.
"Alem how old are you?" he asked him "Also I have a favour to ask of you, can you keep her away from the castle from tomorrow on wards. This place will be under my guard as are many near here and many men are being returned after a word to the guards since I still hold authority there, but please Alem, I do not wish for her to stay a caged all her life which is what they plan to do after she gives the an heir that is" he sighed.
"I will supply you with some gold so you can both settle somewhere far away until everything is safe again or at least until we find someone she can marry that is a decent man and someone she'll love but until then please Alem" he looked as though this really was the last thing he could do for his niece but also he had a more complicated intention under it all and it included Alem as well.

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
Walking with Sayuri he took her back to the animals smiling on how she cared for them. He frowned at the evening coming. He knew that soon she would be gone, forced to marry a evil man and he would be forced to do what he did, daily beatings. He wouldn't show Sayuri his fear though she had enough of her own stuff to worry about!
When the uncle came he attempted to put on a brave face. He was a bit confused about what her uncle wanted but he went with him. About the age he frowned "Umm I am not completely sure but I think I am about 20" He said. He gasped at his next comment. "Away frome the castle?" He then shook his head in surprise "How did you get the men back, where were they?" He looked to Sayuri then back to her uncle. "I will keep her safe" He licked his lips. "There is a place a bit away from here, but its close to food and a water source" He knew in his heart that he would never be that man but he wished he would"

Her uncle smiled "Thank you Alem, please leave with her as soon as you can, I was told to bring her horse along but she rarely gets out but still take that horse as well, I'll just say we found her dead outside of the village when we caught some thieves, it isn't safe, The men are coming they'll be back by morning I ordered them to rest for the night and same for you both, she does not yet know of the plan so only tell her in the morning." he said and when she came over she looked to her uncle ready to head back "We heading back now?" she asked and he smiled shaking his head "You can stay with them one more night, you're horse will remain with the other animals so all should be fine, I'll be back in the morning" he said to her

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
Alem wanted to ask more questions like how he was to get her out but she came back too quickly. He smiled at her and chuckled "Guess it means the girls will have one more night of a cuddle bug" He said then nodded to the uncle. "I have to go check on something I will be right back" He was hopefully giving her and her uncle a few moments of alone time to talk and say good night. He had a feeling she was going to be upset about leaving but he hoped that she would see that it was for her!
Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
Her uncle had hoped that they could use the horse, it was a fast stallion that still liked Sayuri very much. Sayuri smiled at the news and kissed her uncle goodnight before he spoke "One thing you should know tomorrow just listen to Alem ok?" he said and she nodded before heading back to where they both usually slept and soon enough they were joined by a group of kids.

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
Alem rubbed the back of his neck. He would have to take Sayuri away from her uncle. That was going to break her heat and her trust in him. He sighed that didn't matter, he was just keeping her safe until a suitable husband could be found. He put on a brave face when she came back and laid on the mat and laughed as the kids came down with them he was happy that some of them were going to get their dads back. He knew that them coming back would take away from him leaving. So that made it a bit easier.
He turned and looked at Sayuri "Good night"

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
The next morning the first half of the men returned back to the village with Sayuri's uncle in the earlier morning, he then found Alem and handed him a letter "Give this to her in order to explain, I've given another to the eldest women here to read out to the village to explain why you're gone, it says your doing something very important for this country so don't worry it's not a lie after all." he smiled "and thank you again young man, hopefully it'll all go to plan and I'll also keep watch over this place and many others until your back" he said having already taken a liking to Alem, it really was a shame that alem wasn't a prince, he had a level head and was very kind.
Sayuri came out and looked to her uncle who jumped off his horse he he hugged her goodbye "Please just listen to this young man for a while, it's for your own safety ok?" she looked pained but nodded, it was the fact it was Alem that made it feel a little better

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
Alem watched the families reunite and smiled. Finally the families were going to be together again. He watched as Sayuri's uncle came back, he had stayed in the shadows not wanting to interrupt the family reunions. He took the leader and nodded "Alright, thanks, I still feel bad taking her away from you" He frowned then licked his lips nodding. "I will keep her safe, thank you for bringing back the men, I do wonder where they were though" He sighed and wayed as Sayuri came out.
He took a step back to let them have their time then as he was spoken about he stepped forward. He gently put his hand on her back then nodded. "Lets go ridding" He said softly "Let the familes enjoy their reunion." He jumped up on the horse and offered a hand for her. He would give her the letter soon.

Sayuri nodded and smiled "OK then, also do you have a horse or are we sharing mine?" she asked him and went over to her horse who nickered and nuzzled them both, he really was friendly. Once they were both ready she let him pick the path relaxing in the saddle. "Where are we going?" she asked him curiously

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
'Two horses would probably be best" He had packed some supplies into his already. "I want to show you some sights and such" He hadn't lied he was going to show her some sights but also wanted to get her away from the danger. He would show her the letter when they stopped for lunch.
He waved good bye and nodded to her uncle then took off down the path. Willing himself not to look back on his home, on the kids that he had protected the homeland. He rode hard for 30 minutes then rested his horse by a calm stream. "Here you can see the pebbles at the bottom of the steam and the water is so cold and refreshing"

She climbed off her horse with him and looked to the river"Wow so clear" she smiled and then cupped her hands and threw some water on him laughing. The women who had been given the other letter decided to wait until the next morning to tell the people.
Sayuri let the horses graze and sat back looking to the sky "So peaceful" she said but then another thought struck her "Also Alem, why did uncle say to listen to what you said to me?" she asked a little curious but also had a gut feeling something was wrong.

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
He laughed as he splashed him. He flicked some water at her too then sighed and sat on the bank dipping his feet in the creek then looked up at her. "Oh Sayuri" He stood and walked to his saddle bag and handed her the letter then rubbed the back of his neck. "I am sorry" He said softly then watched her ready to catch her if she fainted, or worse tried to run away.
Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
She read the letter and sighed when she read it "I knew he'd try something like this so don't be sorry, it should be me saying that" she said to him and touched his cheek gently "Also you're still recovering on top of that" she sighed "I'm truly sorry Alem to get you mixed into this."

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
Watching her read it he was grateful that she didn't react the way he was afraid she would. He smiled at her then sighed. "I am just happy that I could protect you, I have no family and now the kids and wives have their husbands back so I am not really needed there, but it seems I might be needed here with you, there is a nice place a couple days ride from here, you will be safe you uncle knows where we are going to there isn't much to worry about" He paused. "Unless you can think of a place that you would like to be"
Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
She listened to him and smiled before pecking his cheek gently "Thanks Alem, if only you were a prince then I'd rather have married you" she smiled and then after they'd finished she waited for him to once more take the lead.

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
Alem blushed a deep red as she pecked his cheek. He shook his head. "Your uncle will find you the prefect husband" He sighed he found himself attracted to her but knew nothing could happen from it so took a last drink of water then remounted the horse and started to ride. "Any thing you want to see?"
Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
She smiled seeing him blush "I know but I doubt he'll have much luck looking around the princes they're all rather stuck up and nasty if you ask me" she said bluntly and shook her head "Anywhere would be nice really, I haven't been outside for a while remember so just show me anything"

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
Alem sighed "I really wish you could marry who you would want, you deserve to be happy" He licked his lips then sighed. "Well I guess there is the fields, we should get to the cabin before the sunsets, you deserve a nice roof over your head" He winked at her then continued to ride but at a nice slow pace since they were not really in danger and it seemed that Sayauri was not going to run off. He was worried about her and how she was taking all of this. He pointed out some animals then turned to her. "Tell me when you are hungry, your uncle was able to get us some food"
Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
She smiled and looked to him "Thanks Alem" she smiled and then followed him through the fields on the horses until they got to the cabin and she jumped off after him "This the place you were talking about? It looks nice" she smiled at him

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
As the rode Alem watched her wondering why she was so calm. He dismounted at the cabin "Yes, I believe your uncle stocked it pretty good but we might have to hunt and gather, but there is a stream near by with fish and water and such" He sighed and took his sadle off the horse and gentle patted him. "Rest my friend" He said softly then went to her horse. "Would you like her sadle to come off too?"
Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
"Yeah might be best to let her rest too, she's been a good horse today after all and it's been a while since I've ridden her too" she smiled and asked him to show her how to untack the horses and then helped find a little fenced off area for the two horses and let them be before heading inside with him. She was calm because she somehow knew her uncle would do something like this anyway. "It's really nice inside isn't it?"

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
He helped her with the horses then went inside with her. It had one room but two beds. "I want to keep you safe so hope you don't mind sharing a room" He sat down on the couch then looked at her. " What do you think?"
Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
She shook her head "Not really, after all you were in the same room before hand when I was sleeping" she said to him and smiled sitting down and thinking "I know how about I make something to eat, I learnt a lot from the cook about cooking and how to make meals, I had plenty of time after all" she smiled

Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
"That is true" Alem said softly "We did share a room before, sorry I am a bit nervous about all this, I just want the best for you, but I know how hard it is to be away from your family" He frowned. Then broke out in a big smile "Oh a pretty woman wants too cook me dinner?" He winked "How could I turn that down" He chuckled.
Re: The Thief and The Princess (Xuxa_Rene)
"It's fine i'm nervous as well and it isn't that hard, not really after all father's dead and mother has been distant since so, not missing anyone apart from uncle and auntie" she sighed and then blushed at his comment a little and began to see what they had cooking something fairly simple since it had been a tiring day already. She handed him a plate and spoke "and you're cooking tomorrow" she said "Unless you can't cook that is"
