He kissed her lovingly and then put a hand tenderly to her would-be bump. "For our prince or princess." he said, "I'll fight forever for them and for you.".....

Ella looks at him with a smile. "For our little princess you mean. We are going to have a little girl just like you wanted." She kissed his cheek and has him lay with her. She says, "I want you to be here for her so you can't just give up ok?" She lays her head on his chest. "Can we spend the next few days living like we are supposed to? Stressing is not good for our baby."

Kaimar felt his heart soar with pride. Ella would give him a daughter! Deep down, he felt he already knew, for he'd heard his mother's ghost say they would have many daughters. Many daughters. The idea of twins was good, but it was doubtful she would carry more, so that in itself held some hope for them. He'd have to be there if they were to have many daughters. "I won't give up." He promised, "Come hell and high water, I will not abandon you, or my princess."....

Ella smiled some and looks at him before getting up as she got some ideas. She goes into the bathroom and runs him a bath. She goes to him. "Come Kaimar. A bath will help you relax." She got him up and removed his clothes from his body. Once she gets him in the bath. She begins to wash and massage his body help him relax.

Kaimar lifted his brow as she ran him a bath and then undressed him. And then, she began to wash him too! That hadn't happened since his mother used to bath him! But, it was wonderful and it didn't take long for him to sit up proper and pull at Ella's dress ties. "I'd rather you were in here with me." He cooed at her, pulling one of the ties free.....

Ella looks at him as he seemed to be surprised that she would do this for him. But damn it he needed to relax. She kisses him as he removed her dress ties. She says, "But I want pamper you my love." She removes dress and other clothing. Then she got in the bath with him.

Kaimar smiled and pulled Ella into his lap as she spoke. "This is more pampering than I could ever wish for." He told her as he kissed her deeply, "And I'm sure you can pamper me further from here." He pushed his hands under her butt to support her and balance her so her hands were free to do as she chose.....

She looked at him as he was making it harder for her to behave herself. She was trying her best to just help him relax. But he was so damn stubborn. It made her furious but at the same time it made her love him even more. She kisses him softly and deeply as she wraps her arms around his neck bring her closer to him. She did not want to let him go. But in three days time, he would have to face the reaper and come back on his own strength. It was the only way they were going to be together. But if she told him he had to do, he would probably get more worked up. So he would have to figure it out on his own and she would be there to support him through it.

Kaimar held Ella close, but went no further than that. he seemed happy to simply have her sat there with her arms around him and his arms around her. He loved her so deeply. He felt his heart ache that he would die in three days and he wanted to spend as much time as possible with her before he had to leave. She had her hope and he too hoped it would be enough, but he still had to plan for the worst. he kissed at her cheek and shoulder and he sighed as he smelled her scent. He wanted to remember as much as he could....

Kaimar was just trying to make things easier for the both of them, Ella could feel that. She could also feel that he was not going to come back in his own mind he was already dead. She looks in his eyes. "Kaimar you are much stronger than you realize. I can't tell you how I know but I know that you will return to me and our beautiful daughter to come. You will be stronger but you will also be different."

Once they were both clean she got out of the tub. She could feel the darkness consuming her. But not in the same way it would her husband. It wanted to cause despair. She got their bed prepared for the both of them. She started a small fire in the fireplace so that they could stay warm. She would speak no more for the night.

Kaimar got out of the tub and sorted himself out before he joined Ella in the bed. He gave her a real and loving smile as he climbed in beside her and cuddled her to him. "You know that I trust in your word." He told her. "If you say I will come back from this, then I'll hold you to it."....

Ella looks at him a moment before kissing him. "Kaimar you have to start believing in yourself now. I can't be in the fog with you." She placed a hand over his heart. "The fog feeds on the fear and despair it causes the souls. If you do not lose what is in your heart, then you can survive anything it tries to inflict on you." She kisses him deeply before going on her side to rest. A tear goes down her face before she goes into a deep sleep because of emotional exhuastion.

Kaimar cuddled Ella closer than ever to him and closed his eyes. Yes, he feared the fog, but his love for her was stronger and nothing could destroy that, not the oldest, strongest or most evil of creatures. He slept soundly until dawn and then rose to greet the sun. He left Ella in the bed to sleep, but didn't leave the room. No doubt the word of what was happening was spreading through the kingdom and he knew in his heart that his people would support his decision and respect what time he believed he had left with his wife as he was.....

Ella slept passed noon before waking up. She saw that Kaimar was still with her and she smiled some. "Good morning love." She was pale and weak but she tried to stay positive. She covered herself with a blanket and walked to his side. "What shall we do today?" She ignored the whispers on the wind. The death tree was not far from the castle. Every time a victim is chosen, it torments the ones the victim is meant to leave behind.

Kaimar stared out of the window a little longer and then smiled as she spoke to him and then came to him wrapped in a blanket. Turning, he pulled her close and put her back to him with his arms around her over her shoulders and upper arms. "I think we should stay exactly as we are today." He said, "And not leave this room." He leaned down and kissed at her cheek and neck. She was naked under the blanket and he couldn't help but stare. She was beautiful and she was his wife....

Ella looks at her husband and blushes as she feels him kiss her neck. She did not mind him staying at her. She says to him, "My love, staying in bed is a good idea but what about your duties as king?" She kisses him and wraps herself around him. She could feel something was wrong. "What are you thinking?"

Kaimar looked down at Ella and smiled, "I am enjoying what precious time I can get with my wife. My duties can wait a day or two." He said. In truth, Chuck was making sure everything was in order for Ella to assume the throne should he not return. He leaned down and kissed her tenderly....

Ella kissed him back and went to the bed again as she felt warmer there. She knew he was not being honest with her but she let it slide. She looks at him as she lays on the bed removing the blanket. She says to him staying calm, "Come to me my king. We might as well have some fun while we are alone. We won't be able to be alone for long." She loved him and needed him.

Kaimar smiled and followed her to the bed. Shedding his lounge pants, he climbed in and took Ella into his arms. He kissed her passionately and held her close. "How I love you." He told her quietly as he kissed and nipped at her neck and shoulder. "And they won't dare disturb us." Anyone that did would get the sharpest end of his tongue that he could think of, including Chuck. Nothing was ruining this moment, not a single thing....

She had a feeling that he was right. No one would mess with them today. She had no doubt that word spread across the land that the fog was going to claim their king. No doubt the nobles were happy about that. But she also had a feeling someone else was coming here. She would ignore that feeling for now. And would see what would come of it. She kisses Kaimar and brushes up against him. She missed him. They wouldn't have much more time together if he did not make it through the fog.

Kaimar kissed her back and then slowly pulled her further down the bed. He pulled the sheets over them both and then stared down at his beloved with love and devotion. He intended to make every minute of these two days count and give her plenty of good memories to keep her going for as long as possible. "I love you, so much." He cooed, "And you are so very beautiful to me."....

Ella looked up at him not sure what to say. She knew that he was trying to make the best of what they have for time together. But the idea of living without him was unbearable. No matter how strong she wanted to be she couldn't live without him. She kissed him gently deeply with as much love and devotion as he had looked at her with. She says to him, "I will love no other like I love you."

Kaimar held Ella close, savouring the feel of her silken skin on his. "I hope you never have to." He said with devotion, "For if what you say is true, I will come back from this and I will be at your side for all eternity." He kissed her again as he moved over her. His strong shoulders supported his weight and he looked down at her with absolute and unconditional love. "And we have been promised many daughters and sons, so there must be a way that I survive this."....

Ella kisses him and runs her hands over his body trying to memorize his body. "My love there is more than one child inside me. But I know for sure that one of them is a girl. You must survive no matter what." She ran a hand over his chest where his heart remains, "This heart that has beating for so long, belongs with mine. One and strong. Without one the other is not fully alive." She places his hand on her chest letting him feel her heart. Their hearts were beating as one.

Kaimar stopped and stared at Ella for a moment. "Twins?" He asked as he looked down at her still flat stomach. He lifted up slightly and touched her flesh there as she touched his chest. His eyes went back to hers and his smile returned as she put his hand to her chest and he leaned back down to her once more. "One heart, one soul." He told her and then kissed her lovingly before he smiled once more. "Twins." He repeated and then laughed, "I like the sound of that." It doubled his hope for them....
