Nate spent a few hours in the bath before working his way out of the bathtub. He puts on his robe and then sits on the bed beside Sora. He says, “Quit trying to figure out what is going on. The more you search through the bond, the more you are going to feel the pain worse.” He kisses her lips. “Let it go.”

Nick thought about her question a moment. “If one is in pain so is the other. Although your sister will feel a lighter version of his pain as long as she does not push too far into the bond. They would both need help fighting the pain. So yes they would both need to take the medicine”

Sora looked up to him and kissed him back softly "I can't help it, you know I'm worse at worrying than my sister" she frowned "and I'm used to the pain more than you because of my muscles" before sitting up and stretching "You feeling better anyway?" moving his hair from his red eyes and smiling. "Just like rubies" she whispered softly looking straight into them.

Keita looked to him "Well I'm sure Andrew will make enough for them both" she smiled and looked to him hoping everything would be ok. "Anyway let's get to wok on dinner, least we can do is make sure neither of them have to do too much while their in pain, especially your brother and the children are most likely hungry as well so rather we're doing lunch" she looked to the clock noticing it was around noon anyway.

Nathan could not help but smile at her. She was right. She was a worry wart. Always have been since she was very little. He hopes that she will get over it with time. He says to her to help calm her down, "There is nothing to worry about though. What I did was to protect everyone. An arm is just an arm. It didn't take my life."

Nicholas agrees with her. It was time that they made lunch for everyone. It would give Nathan and Sora one less thing to worry about. Although he couldn't help but wonder what Nathan's serum would make his body go through in order to fight off the poison. Sora would go to the same thing because the two of them were connected.

[Rose for the Hunter]

Sora sighed but soon smiled a little "That is true" she said "Let's just rest for a bit ok?" she said and pulled him down to lie down with her anyway, or rather as usual for her. She did look up a while later hearing someone coming upstairs and could smell for as well.

Keita nodded, once they had made some lunch she took Nathan and Sora's upstairs and opening the door put it on the side before leaving. "They seem well, Sora's dragged him down onto the bed again though" she laughed "Even now she liked her sleep more than she needs it. Anyway, you fancy watching a film together when the kids are asleep tonight?" she asked him.

Nathan woke up but didn't eat when lunch was delivered. He was not much of an eater when he didn't feel right. He knew his whole body was trying to heal. He hoped that he would heal quickly so that Sora would not suffer the same.

Nicholas could tell that Nathan was in a lot of pain. He could feel it too. They would have to figure out a treatment soon for him or they would be in a lot of trouble. Nathan was not used to pain. Nicholas was but only for so long. "He is not fine. His body is boiling alive."

Sora looked to it and went over to get some, she did eat some since she was rather hungry and then settled back down next to Nate. "Don't you dare start worrying about me in your state, just focus on getting better yourself ok?" she said to him.

When she heard that she checked on how Andrew's work was coming along. "Can you give me another hour, I almost have it" he said bluntly and kept working, sure enough around an hour later he told Nick to go up and give the powder to the pair as well as take up some glasses of water to dissolve the power into.

By the time Andrew got done with making a treatment for Nathan and Sora's pain, Nathan was going through a change due to his serum in his blood. His bones were cracking. His skin was blood red and his eyes were red and orange. Nicholas delivered the treatment and helped them get it down. His own blood was boiling too. That was due to his anger with the labs. He was going to have to do something about it before everyone else got hurt. Those kids were depending on them to protect them. He makes his way back downstairs ignoring the pain going to his body as the serum in his blood was reacting to his emotions.

Sora winced feeling her own bones starting to crack and had to grip onto Nathan tightly, she wasn't used to this at all but hearing the door she looked up and saw what Nick brought in and gave a slight nod in thanks before she straggled to et up and put some of the powder into the glass to dissolve. heading over she spoke softly "Think you can manage to drink this?" she asked and when he was ready she gave him some mouth to mouth since it was far easier for both of them at the moment. After though she stayed close to him and didm;t move for quite some time.

Keita looked to Nick able to pick up what he was feeling and gave a weak smile as she sat down on the couch and just tried to concentrate on something else ignoring the pain.

Everyone is feeling the effects of the change. Nathan was doing everything he could not to scream his head off. He held on to her to give her some comfort but he was not able to give her much. But pretty soon his body began to calm down from the change. He had somehow grew a new arm. But it was not a human arm. It looked more like an alien type arm. He quickly covered his arm so that she would not see it.

Nicholas on the other hand was still going through with his change. His bones weren't cracking but they weren't staying in the places they were supposed to stay. They were being changed and remade so it would be harder for him to get hurt.

Sora hugged him trying to comfort him as well. When her body finally calmed down she closer her eyes for a moment before looking up at him quietly hoping he was getting better as well. She looked to the shoulder where his other arm once was and noticed something was different. "Did you grow a new arm?" she asked simply looking to it wondering why he was trying to hide it from her. Her back ached still and she winced feeling as though her skin was going to be ripped apart.

Keita shifted, her bones weren't changing too much unlike Sora her's was finished much more quickly. "You ok?" she asked Nick looking over to him. "Also something is going on with those two…" she winced and felt the same burning her sister was although it wasn't her pain.

Nate looks at her with a sad look in his eyes. He says, "It is not human." He quickly gets off the bed and covers his arm before she can see it. He was not going to let her see him as a monster. He says, "I think I'm going to sleep on the couch. You stay in the bed." He quickly goes downstairs.

Nicholas didn't say a word as he saw his brother running down the stairs. He stopped him by grabbing him by his new arm. Nicholas says to him trying to calm him down, "Brother its okay. Your body is changing to fit your needs. It won't change how she feels about you so don't try to hide it."

Sora tried to stop him but a seething pain ran through her again just before he walked out. Keita seeing him running downstairs she headed upstairs quickly and went into her sister's room. "What's going on?" she asked her and Sora shook her head not knowing. "My back feels like it's on fire!" she said almost yelling because of it. Calming her sister down she got her to remove her top and seeing two huge lumps beneath the skin she made sure nothing obstructed them. Seeing one of them move she put her hand on top of it, "Boney…" she muttered "Sora what were you thinking when you were fighting and when the bones were reconstructing?" she asked her "That I need to look after Nate, I can't be late like I was last time" Keita thought "I knew it… Sora like Nate your body is most likely adjusting to your needs ok… just try to bare with it, although, this looks rather strange"

Nicholas was helping Nathan with adjusting to his new arm. It almost looks like his arm was made out of crystals or diamonds. Looks like they were all going to be different now. But with each other's help they could do anything. Nathan says growling some in aggravation, "I am a freak now worse than I was before. I could seriously hurt someone with this arm." Nicholas nodded in agreement. "You will just have to be more careful now. But I'm sure that Sora will understand."

Keita still wondering what on watch was going on with Sora when she shouted urgently at the boys downstairs. "Someone bring up some towels and a bucket of hot wage road another of cold… Something is coming out of Sora's back and it's looks like it's on fire!" she shouted worried and looked to the pair "Well hurry, she's also loosing a lot of blood so I need to focus on that" she headed back quickly and tried to stop the blood that was emerging from her body as two slits were made in her back by a sharp bone that was emerging from her back as if they had a mind of their own. By the time they got there with the things Keita had yelled for, Sora was panting heavily, blood was dripping down her wings onto the bed before dripping onto the floor below. Wings of pure fire had emerged from her back and burned furiously but strangely enough they did not burn anything, panting heavily she was controlling it carefully so as not to hurt anyone.

Nathan could see that his love was in pain and he went to her side as soon as he was yelled for. He went to her side and run his hands through the flames to show that she could not hurt him with her fire. He says, its okay my love no one hurt you and you won't hurt anything." He strokes her cheek gently trying to get her to just relax.

[Rose for the Hunter]

She looked to him smiling a little but was still in agony. Keita got him to put pressure around the wings with ones of the towels to stop the blood falling out. "Ok, both of you need to rest ok?" she said "and I'm serious, one you have a lot to talk about and two it'll allow you to get used to the adjustments" she said to them. Sora simple nodded. moving her signs they crackled and cracked before the flames died down and oft in place were just the bones that had broken through the skin of her back. She folded them in with a sigh. "I think they both changed differently because each one needs something different to complete their goal. Also did you tell your brother what you thought of his arm?" she whispered.

Nate helped Sora lay on her belly comfortably to ease her pain. He could feel her discomfort and he went into the bathroom and got some wet washcloths. He can back and gently washed her back hoping to relax her. Her body was on fire and his was following. He was careful of the bones. But he took a closer look. "Your body is still changing love. But no matter what you need to stay on your stomach. It will ease the pain in your back."

Nick looks at Kat and says, "Right now, my opinion about his arm doesn't matter. His main concern is Sora."

[Rose for the Hunter]

Sora looked to him as she lay on her stomach and winced feeling the water dripping on her back which eventually made her calm down. She nodded softly and tried to relax her body still burning but she didn't have a fever it was more like the fire on her wings had gathered in the bones, which were warm to the touch, almost like skin, and her back around her new bones. "Hopefully it'll stop soon" she sighed.

Keita looked to Nick "That's my point he's concerned about her but also about her seeing his arm, hopefully they'll both be ok, anyway we better make sure they both rest for a little while" she nodded "maybe a few days to get them used to their new body parts.

Nate continues to stroke her body with the wet washcloths. Not noticing that his new arm was not covered. He says, "Until the changes stop, your body will remain on fire. But it will pass. Both of us have a lot of catching up to do. I think while we were out of our bodies, our bodies were not adapting regularly. So they may be making up for lost time."

Nate watched a moment. "They will need a lot of rest. Right now they will need to grasp the changes in their bodies." His skin was still crawling so he knew things were going to be a lot different now. More changes as the need to protect the kids grows.

[Rose for the Hunter]

"Thanks Nate" she said softly nodding at what he said, that was most likely the case, she noticed his arm and smiled "You grew a new arm, that's good" she said looking to him "Were you scared that I wouldn't love you anymore if I saw your arm earlier?" she asked knowing that is what he was most likely hiding from her.

Keita smiled and nodded "Yeah, so let's do what we can and make sure they rest, I have a feeling they are both busy bodies at time especially your brother" she said nodding a little.

Nate tenses up some as she mentioned his arm. He looks at her. He says quietly, "I thought you would not like me anymore because of the look of this thing." He knew that it was stupid to think that. He lays beside her feeling suddenly weak and dizzy. Nick looks at them before taking Kat by the hand and taking out of there. It was clear that Nate and Sora needed some time alone.  He says to her once they are back with the kids, "We can't hover over like them like parents."

[Rose for the Hunter]

She moved to lay on erg side facing him after she'd made some more room for him on the bed and smiled "Silly boy" she said and kissed his lips softly before snuggling into him in order to get some rest just like always and moved one arm over him.

Keita walked out with him and nodded "I know, now then I need to set up something for the kids ok?" she said and walked off in order to finish setting up a surpass she had for the kids that day.

Nathan looks at her a moment and says, "Well what can I say? I am sensitive from time to time." He kisses her back and cuddles up to her. He was not tired but the rest felt good. He strokes her cheek as she lays there. He looks at the new arm. He did not know what this meant for him. But he would stand by Sora.


Nate looks at her with a nod. He helped supervise the kids as he did not want to get in the way.

Sora woke up a little later and nudged him gently as she snuggled into him still smiling "You didn't sleep did you?" she asked and looked up to him with her warm amber eyes. "Can we watch a movie later on?" she asked her back still ached so didn't feel much like moving.

She told Nick to bring them through, she'd set up a load of games for them to try out, ones she'd thought the kids would enjoy so that if it was raining or dangerous outside they still and loads to do, she had twister, snakes and ladders, loads of games "I saw a load of them on sale for cheap so I thought it'd be good to grab a load for them all" she said to him smiling.

Nathan could not find a way to sleep. His mind was on so many things. When she awoke from her sleep, he kissed her forehead. He just nodded at the idea of watching a movie later on. He was having issues speaking at the moment. He didn't know what words to use to give her comfort. He never could sleep when he had too much on his mind at once. So it shouldn't have come to such a big shock to her.

Nicholas played the games with the children. Helping the younger ones with the pieces and understanding the rules of each game. He also was not in a very talkative mood. So much has happened. He had found the woman he loved. Found out that his alternate personality was actually his brother. Started in orphanage for gifted children. And is up against the world to protect them. What else could happen?
