Nick and Nate look at them a moment as they laughed at them. Both boys laughed as they were both embaressed by this. Nick looks at his watch and says, "I will go to the store and get the vitimans and drinks." He grabs his coat. Nate says, "Just don't get lost on the way back." Nick smiles and heads to the store. Nate goes back to see if the kids need anything.

Sora and Keita both made some treat for the kids, preserved lychees, they were very sweet but also were very easy to stomach begin a no acidic fruit as well. They prepared a good amount of bowls and left them i the fridge for a while until later on. The sugar would help the children as well so they also did some jam on toast and handed them out. The simple food was also good for when they had upset stomachs. Handing out the food between them. When Nick got back, Andrew had also gone out and come back withe the flu injections he had ordered so asked them to bring one child at a time. The lychees being given to the afterwards as a reward. Keita and Sora both stayed with the child to ensure they felt safe.

When Nick got back with the drinks and vitamans, Nate helps him take care of everything. After that he got Rose out of bed so she could get her shot. She cries and says, "I don't want to! I will be a good girl! I don't need a shot!" Giant tears go down her face. He kisses her forehead and says, "It is so you can be better." He rubs her back trying to calm her down.

Keita made Nate sit down with Rose and tried to sooth her. "Rose, this is an injection to help you get better I promise" she said "it might sting a little but it really will help you" she said to her softly before looking to Nate. "Care to lead by example, we need to get our shots as well" she said to him. Sora sat down and looked to Rose before she moved and kneeled in front of her in Nate's lap. "Calm down, relax and close your eyes" she said to Rose moving her hands to her temples before nodding at Andrew while she made Rose imagine something pleasant to take her mind off of the injection.

Nate rolled up his sleeve and left his upper arm exposed so he could get the shot. He did not like shot either but they were needed to keep them all healthy. Rose huffed and continued to cry even after she got the shot and she screamed when anyone tried to remove her from his lap. He took the next shot and smiled some. He says, "You just want to be mad today don't you Rose?"

Sora touched her softly and gave her one of her feathers quickly "Here make a wish, they say fire feathers are those of phoenixes and they can grant wishes so if you wish on this then it'll come true" she said to her and kissed her head gently. She let Nate and him leave they made sure all the kid were ok after the shots knowing it was hard for them so ensure they were treated ad spoilt afterward to try and make the experience better.

Rose took the fire feather and played with it her eyes curious about it. Nate left her to play on the couch since she was being good. He could see a steady improvement already because of their color returning to their skin. Nick gets Matthew up for his injection and he comes kicking and screaming. Nick just drew him into a tight but gentle hug as he screamed. He says to him with a calm voice, "I know you have suffered so much pain because of adults. But we are not your enemy. We just want help you get better."

Keita looked over to Nick and Matthew telling the doctor to be quick about ti with him so that he got the injection before he most likely ran off and also to try and make it hurt less like the other children. Andrew gave Matthew the injection and then told Nick he could let Matthew go. Sora ad gone outside and was handing treats out to the recently injected kids to help them calm down. She eventually sat down and read them a story like before.

Rose hearing all the comotion came out and saw that Matthew was being a jerk. She uses her ability to keep him still. He groans because he can't move. She says to him holding herself up by holding the wall, "You are not the only one who has suffered. But no matter what we suffer in this life, it does not give you or any of us the right to be a jerk. So why don't you just man up?"

Sora smiled a little and patted her on the head "Be careful how you word things ok Rose, that can get you in a lot of trouble at times even if it is true" she said to her. Keita had a hand over her mouth hiding a smile and looking to Rose she asked she let him move again to calm down in his room instead.

Rose let him go and he races to his room. She says, "And sometimes holding back the true can cause more harm than good. He just needs to learn that no matter how mad he gets, he is getting mad at the wrong people. Justice cannot come easily if we are at each other's throats." Nick smiles at the girl and says, "Justice will come but right now our concern is the safety and health of you children."

Sora thought "and who old are you, anyway we need to get a lot of you back to bed soon so you can rest up ok?' she said and helped Rose back to bed before she started taking the others back after a while as well before she helped out with a few more injections and like keita got her own as well making her arm hurt quite a bit "Still strange their immune systems are so weak" said Keita.

Rose looks at her and says, "I am 6. But due to the ooze they injected into me, my mind works like I am much older. But my emotions not so much." Rose went to sleep almost as soon as she hit the pillow. Nick looked over the children as he got injected. "The people at the lab could have stripped their immune systems to make it easier for them to accept the syrum." Nate looks at the children as he thinks about things. "Children adapt better than adults. Even better when they are pure of what they have been exposed to."

Sora helped with getting the kids to bed and so did Keita. It was around midnight when they could all finally go to bed. Keita and Sora both collapsed onto the beds thinking to themselves exhausted after that long day. Sora's sleeping times were all out of whack so to say due to that so once she could feel Nate's warmth beside her she was asleep almost instantly. Keita looked to Nick for a moment thinking "What Nate said earlier is a good point but then why didn't we get that done to us as well?" she questioned him.

Nick looks at Kat and says taking her upstairs to rest, "They did not have the technology or the funding to do so like they do now." He helped her into bed. "As long as we are around, they have proof that their syrum works. The only thing we can do is prevent it from spreading and hurting other people. And in order to do that, we have to eliminate the threat of labs and the people in them." Meanwhile Nate took care of Sora and kept her warm so she can sleep.

Keita nodded at what he said "True, I still wish there was a far more peaceful way though" she sighed and kissed him goodnight before she settled down to sleep and meanwhile Sora had stirred for a moment "Nate you need to sleep as well" she said and moved one of her wings over him before she found his mutated hand and held it carefully in her own squeezing it gently before she settled back down to sleep.

The next morning Keita really didn't want to get up, she wasn't feeling too great so decided she'd try to rest a little longer. Sora who woke up at the usual time was sleepier and more dazed than usual but relaxed and took up some toast and Jam for her sister "hmm might've caught the bug" she nodded.

Nathan and Nicholas did not sleep long for they knew that something was up. Nathan was the first to notice it because Sora is not sleeping peacefully as she usually did. And when she got up, he could tell that she was probably sick as well. Nicholas noticed it after he got done with his morning shower when he saw that Kat was not up yet. She was usually arguing with him to get up. With that both boys followed Sora to the kitchen and worked on getting some homemade chicken noodle soup made for them when they actually so hungry enough for something that their stomach could possibly tolerate little later in the day. They did not think that the girls could catch the bug as easily as the kids did. Nick and Nate felt fine so that was what got them worried. If it was normal flu they would be feeling it too because of their bond to the girls. Could it have mutated that quickly from what the kids had to something else?

Keita didn't get up out of bed and after Sora had finished what she was doing making herself some she gave some to her sister and then headed back to her room and chewed on the toast before giving a light sigh and moving her warm wings around herself, feeling rather cold. When asked about what was wrong she simply explained and Keita did as well, both and the same illness although it wasn't exactly the flu.

The boys did everything they could to make everyone comfortable. They had to balance taking care of the kids and making sure everything else ran smoothly. Nathan spent most of the day checking in on Sora to make sure she was okay. Nicholas did not check in as often on Kat because she tended to get crabby when she got sick. But he did make sure that she has plenty of fluids and had comfy blankets. Along with an endless amount of movies to watch to keep herself occupied.

Whenever Sora was ill unlike Keita she slept most of the time opening her eyes when he walked in every now and then hoping everything was ok and he wasn't stressing out too much. Keita even though she was in a bad mood she was still grateful when he checked up on and did try to get some sleep. "Sorry, both me and Sora have fallen ill.." she sighed and ruffled her hair. Sora was a little dazed but one time when he came in she pecked his cheek and smiled a little before settling on the bed wishing eh could stay there with her a little longer. Nick sits with Kat once they have everyone figured out. He says to her with a smile as he holds her, "Hun it is fine that you got sick. Nate and I got the kids under control so you can rest." She was his world and she was needing to be taken care of. Meanwhile Nate sits by Sora trying to be for for her but not too overbaring. He makes sure she has fluids and comfy blankets. He flexes his right arm as he was still adjusting to the new form. He says, "Do you need anything Hun?"

Keita smiled a little as he held her and moved her arms around him as well kissing his cheek gently before resting against him a little more. "Thank you Nick" she said softly. "Are you sure everything is ok, I mean most of the children are still ill and there's only a small group of you to look after everyone" she said worried. Sora looked to him before she simply pulled him down on the bed when he asked if she wanted anything and hugged him as she snuggled close to him "Warmth" she answered "and.. just your company" she said rather happy to have him close to her.

Nicholas looks at her with a smile trying to calm her down. "I can handle anything that you guys throw at me. I will be able to take care of all of you. I just want you to get better without having to worry about me. I'm supposed to be taking care of you not the other way around."

Nathan looks at Sora with a kind smile. He says quietly, "It is a good thing that I do not get cold. Otherwise we'll be in serious trouble." He smiles at how she cuddles up to him. It was like she had never been warm before.

"But if you get too stressed out tell me ok, I don't want you to get ill because of it" she said and nudged him gently before kissing his cheek again and then pulled him into the bed with her just to get him to lie down happily and laughed a little.

Sora smiled happily and nuzzled him her head resting in the nook of his neck where she could smell his scent and enjoyed his comforting scent happily as she relaxed. "Well I feel rather cold at the moment so it's another good reason that your so warm"
