School was a breeze for Alex. The day seemed to just go good. "But I don't see any new ones or recent ones. She looked at her again. "I think you have found your own cure for it and don't need any medications for that. Now please put your feet in the sturrups and we will proceed."

When the doctor walked in Dani began snapping the elastic band on her wrist. And chewing her botom lip. As she looked at her arms she swallowed hard and reached for her father dogtails and felt Alex’s class ring she nodded “My father was Killed in action just under a year ago, he was weeks away from coming home” She looked over at Martha She was going to continue but instead she took a deep breath. “Yes Alex as helped me, a lot he keeps me very busy.”

She moved her body and put her feet in the sturupts but advoided Marthas eyes, Dani was blushing slighly Matha was about to find out how much her son had been up to, and under her roof.. When the doctor finished she made some annotations on the chart and then said, "You can get dressed now. Everything looks fine. You are healthy and in good shape. " she saw that on the forms on the chart and folder she had that Martha was the guardian of Dani. She took out a prescription pad from her white coat and wrote out a prescription. "If they are going to be active, then she will indeed need these." she grinned. "When you are dressed you can leave." she opened the door and went out looking over at Alex as she left. She left the door open and Alex poked his head in.

But knowing that Alex was rightoutside the door and that his mom was right here and that she wasn’t alone really helped she looked at Martha as the Dpctor raised a brow she had to stiffen a giggle. Martha certainly had a way of handleing things. She was grateful that she was understanding and accepting of her. She knew that it was hard for her to look upon her and Alex. But she was still accepting of her and her brother.

When she was done Dani sat up slightly but kept her legs in the strups as she talked. “Well thank you Doctor” She chewed her bottom lip as she made the prescprtion for the birthcontrole. She knew that she would be taking those everyday now she just hoped that she could remember, it was one thing to make sure that Dustin took his pills but her? She was so lost in thought that she didn’t hear the doctor leave, nor Alex poke his head in, So there she was feet in the stirupts the gown that barely covered her. She knew what they were doing and didn't mind. When she was ready the three of them went up the elevator to the fifth floor where his doctor was. Usually his mother would wait for him out in the waiting room. She did this now but Alex took Dani into the Doc's office with him. The Doc looked at Alex and then Dani. Alex introduced Dani to the Doc. "I am not having the dreams any more." he told the Doc. "Ever since I met Dani, they have slowly faded away."

The Doc motioned for them to have a seat before his desk and he sat down behind it. "So the nightmares have now ceased." he opened a folder on his desk and made some anotations. "And what of the other things Alex. The flashbacks and the things that sound like gunfire?"

"Haven't had a flashback for weeks now and just the other night a car backfired and someone lit off some firecrackers. None of it bothered me."

He looked over at Dani. "I take it that this has all happened since you have met Dani?" Alex nodded and smiled.

"Without her I do not think I would have been able to be where I am now." he squeezed her hand.

"Excellent." he said. He smiled at Dani. "It seems Alex has found a medicine that is better then anything any doctor could prescribe." He made a few more annotations. "But I still want to see you in a few weeks. Just to make sure that your mind has healed."

Dani got dressed replacing her hoddie, she wasn’t about to go to a shrink with cut marks up and down her arms. But she had checked out fine and she was certain that Alex would now check out fine as well. She sat down and continued to smile and hold Alexs’ hand as he spoke to the doctor.

She was happy that the flashbacks and dreams were gone, but blushed slightly when Alex told it was because of her. She turned to the doctor “Well we are each others medicine it seems” She squeezed his hand sofltly then smiled to the doctor again.

The Doctor could see that Alex was more calm and relaxed. There was not much more that the doctor could do for the session. He got up and walked the two to the office door and smiled at Martha. "He has come a long way in a short time." Now that their appointments were over with it was time for him and Dani to go shoping for her bikini.

Alex put and arm about Dani's waist as they left and once they reached the parking lot, Marth gave them both a hug and said she would pick up Dani's perscription. Also that she would make an appointment for Dustin. She then got into her car and left, leaving the two to do what they wanted. Alex drove to the Mall and then took Dani inside to look at the bikinis. "You going to model them for me?" he grinned.

Dani kept his hand in hers for reassuraance she looked upon the doctor with some distrust. She was grateful those when the said that it was time for them to go. As they left and entered the parkng lot Dani hugged Martha back and thanked her for getting hte presicibtion and getting a appointment for Dustin then got into the car with Alex. She lightly kissed him and whispered "And no gawking at the maniquins" With that she went into the change room explaining to the clerk what was happening and she got a room and waited to see what Alex would want her to wear.
