She awoke the next day feeling better. She saw the pack had spent the night there with them also, they were in need of new clothes and a new place to live, somewhere they could settle down, somewhere with lots of game yet safe fo the children. At that Lith ran her hands over her belly.

Feeling a light stirring in his arms, Daniel woke up and lightly looked down, seeing her running her hands over her belly. Daniel's hands joined her. Resting, feeling. "Good morning mother..." he said lightly. He kissed her lightly on the cheek. "So... do you think... that you are with child?" he asked.

His hands joined hers and she smiled. "Hey non of that yet" she said with a laugh. "I'm not sure... We will be able to tell in a few days" she said. "I'll be able to tell" she said.

Daniel laughed for a moment. "Alright... I guess I can wait..." he said. He nodded understanding... the pups would call her body home for a while, he figured that he would know about it. He kissed her lightly. "I understand love..." he said. "Hmm... today... we should be brief in town today..." he said.

She nodded "Indeed. The boys need new clothes and some ale would be good" she said with a smile "I haven't had a drink in god knows how long" she said licking her lips.

"Hmm... sounds good to me..." he said. "An inn in town has good ale. We can go there together if you wish. After shopping of course... if you want we can split up, I can get the boys new clothes, and you can go to the tailor... there is a woman in town that specializes in clothes for women... beautiful clothes..." he said. "If you want we can meet at the inn after we finish."

"That sounds like a good plan my love" she said. "I shell need to get clothes for my belly" she said with a laugh. "Split up and meet at an inn after we finish" She said with a smile. "Shell we wake the boys and go?" she asked.

Daniel nodded. He stood up and stretched. "Sounds good love..." he said. He went about and started thinking about Lith... how much he loved her, how she would look carrying their young... after they were born... how they would live... he needed to find a better place for them. Where they could live in peace... still... he sensed a storm approaching, figuratively speaking... one that would test everyone in the pack...

She smiled seeing him wake everyone else. She loved him, he had truly become a leader. She could feel something coming their way in terms of danger, she feared for the little ones inside her, she feared for Daniel.

It wasn't long until the whole pack was up and ready to run. It wouldn't be that far of a run to get to the town, they could make it back to this land soon enough... but... Daniel was struck with the wanderlust... wanting to find a place for his pack... a paradise, a place with plenty of game, clean water, and lots of places to run... a wonderful place for the little ones... they would find it someday... he wouldn't stop until they were there.

"Alright, lets go, we will need to be brief in town... hopefully the stores will be busy enough that... well... we have made an enemy in town... a very powerful enemy... we don't want him to know that we are there..." Daniel said before describing what he looks like. "If you see him, just act normal... he only knows what Lith and I look like... but tell either of us the moment you see him."

"You'll smell him boys. The kind that smell like hunters. Daniel smelled like this once, so be on guard." she said kissing Daniel's cheek. "We will meet in town at a pub, Daniel will let you know where. You are under his orders." she reminded them. She nodded to them then turned to head into town.

Daniel gave them directions and a small layout of the town. "Alright... it is simple enough, small but fairly busy at times. The inn is a good place, good drinks, feel free to have what you want, we all could use a little something to kick back... but try to keep calm and not cause a scene... last think I want is that hunter on our case... Alright, lets go." he said leading them off.

Town was busy but pulling her hood up slightly Lith blended in. She found a seamstress and went into find new clothes. A women about her age greeted her and led her into a empty room. Lith stood on a stool as the lady took measurements "I believe I may be with child... Is it possible to have something made for I'm not sure when I'll next be in town." she said, the lady smiled. "A shifter pregnant? This is wonderful news". Lith's eyes widened
"How...Wha..."
"I know what you are from the minute you walked in. I'm a shifter also" Lith almost fainted "But all shifter women were killed off" she said
"All sept us Darling" she said.
"I tried to become with child but with no luck" she said.

Walking into town with the rest of the pack, Daniel was sad to see Lith go off... but he knew that she wouldn't get anything done with him around... and the same for him. He would be too busy playing around with her instead of looking for clothes. Finding a tailor's workshop, he knew this one specialized in men's clothes... he kept his eyes pealed... looking for any signs of trouble... but there wasn't anything... no sign of Chris... hopefully it would stay that way, he rarely went into town... Daniel went about, seeing what he could do, what would look good on him, the rest did the same. The tailor looked happy, knowing that they would be making a bit of cash on this one. Daniel still had plenty of coin from his days as a hunter...

Lith offered her hand "My name's Lith" the lady took her hand "Name's Mera Short for Marriea" she said with a smile. "I have a pack, we are collecting clothes then heading out to find a place to settle, you may join us if you wish" she said. The lady nodded "It would be hard to leave this life behind... I guess I could" she said. Lith payed for her clothes and went to find the Inn with Mera at her side.

It was a little bit until the pack had finished finding what they wanted, each with different tastes chose their clothing accordingly. Daniel chose a nice traveling suit... Made strong for travel, but lightweight enough so as not to weigh him down. Arriving at the inn was quite a sight... wasn't every day a large group like them entered all at once.

Lith laughed seeing the boys all entering at once. Lith and Mera had already sat down with an ale in hand. "Should you be drinking?" Mera asked. Lith had been a little ill on their way to the inn, first signs of children. "One won't hurt, not this early" she said "Ah I want you to meet Daniel and the boys" Lith said as they came over.

Daniel kissed her lightly after he made his way over. Smiling at her lovingly. "Mmm... I see everything went alright." he said with a smile. Noticing that she was sitting next to someone that he hadn't met, he looked "And who is this?" he asked curiously, but politely. He trusted her, he knew she wouldn't bring just anyone with her.

She kissed him and smiled at him with affection, "Yeah, got a few clothes" she said "This is Mera" she lent in to whisper in Daniel's ear "a long lost Shifter" she said with a big grin. "Have a drink boys this one's on me" Lith said with a smile. "Mera this is Daniel. Soon to be a father" she said looking up at Daniel with a smile.

Daniel smiled brightly. She couldn't be serious... maybe... there was even more out there. He ordered himself an ale, and the boys did the same. He smiled at Mera. He wanted to talk to her, find out her story, how she got here... but here was not the place. "Yes... a father." he said with a big grin. "I wouldn't be ready for it, if it wasn't for her..." he said putting his arms around Lith.

Lith smiled up at Daniel. "One big happy family yeah" she said. Mera smiled as Lith told her about the brothers, pointing out everyones weakness and strengths. "We should get going soon love" Lith said to Daniel. "Got to be home by dark" she said trying to say they shouldn't be in town any longer without sounding weird.

Daniel smiled down at her. He took a drink. "Alright love..." he knew what she meant... "Is Mera coming with us?" he asked wondering if they had found a new addition to the pack. Of course he wondered about her around the brothers... none of them would try anything despicable... but some fights might come about over her...

Lith looked to Mera and nodded. "Not tonight but tomorrow my love" she said. She also wondered about the brothers and how they would react with an available female in their pack. Mera would have to prove herself for a ranking.

Daniel smiled... hopefully she would fit in alright with the rest... and hopefully the brothers don't get too riled up over her. "Well, that is good to hear... I think you will be happy joining us..." he said... he wanted to say that she might even find someone special... but that might be jumping the gun a bit.

Mera smiled at Daniel and winked a little "Oh I'm sure I'll be happy" she said hinting at what he was thinking. Lith grinned at Daniel as they all finished their drinks. Then they slowly headed out one by one. "Meet in the woods my love" she whispered in Daniel's ear.
