Hamona moans in the kiss as she wanted more. Pulling back slightly Marcus looked her over ''Seriously your back is bruised, I don't want to end up hurting you.'' She groans and says, "You are such a buzz kill right now." She lays her head on his chest.

he snorted'' yea tell me about it. i am going to have to take a cold shower because of that'' he grumbled, he really didn't want to but the fact that she was bruised and hurt kept him from doing what he really wanted. shifting slightly as he moved he was just lucky he had changed out of his pants or he would definitely be hurting right now. '' when you feel better you can do whatever you want ok? i promise i won't protest.''

Hamona smiles some and says, “Okay but I don’t know how long it will take me to heal.” She lays down comfortably before closing her eyes to sleep hopefully not to be trapped in another bad dream. She sleeps for a few hours without a problem until she started to dream about what her father use to do to her. She starts squirming in the bed as though she was trying to get away from someone. She whispers in her sleep, “Daddy please don’t make me…I don’t want to go with him…”

he yawned slightly as he was jolted awake again by her squirming, that and she nearly kicked him in a place he really wanted out of her reach. He never knew anyone who squirmed so much , shifting a little he leaned up as he reached down and lightly shook her shoulder'' hamona? your dreaming again , come on wake up.. '' he was more worried about her more then anything since she was starting to talk in her sleep and some of what she said was sending alarm bells off in his head more about her father.

Hamona wakes up and looks around her shaking like a leaf in the wind. She looks at Marcus and says, “I am sorry. I cannot stay here. I am sorry I have been a burden to you.” She gets dressed in her other clothes and runs out of the house before he could stop her. It hurt like crazy to run but she knew if she slowed down, Marcus would stop her. She runs to the border of the city and hides in a hidden place only she knew about.

he blinked as he got up immediately looking for his pants to yank on'' hamona wait!" he swore as she was already out the door before he could even do anything. Yanking his shoes on he grabbed a shirt and pulled it over his head as he ran down the stairs and out the door after her.. '' damn it girl get back here. '' he glanced around before letting out another stream of curses. she was fast and was already out of his sight. Not wanting to come home with out her he decided to start checking some of the spots he knew she normaly hung out at.

Hamona stays within her hiding place as she shakes in fear. A tear goes down her face as she knew they could not be together. In the morning, She gets out of her hiding place and head home to change her clothes for school. She thinks, “Hopefully Marcus knows me well enough to know that I don’t skip school no matter what.” She gets dressed and puts her cloak on over her body hiding a knife in her cloak’s hidden pocket. She heads to the school and goes to her locker.

marcus scowled, he had stayed up all night looking for her before finally going back home to clean up and take a quick shower before getting dressed, heading for the school he just hoped she was there, Ignoring everyone else he shoved past them before spotting her by her locker, nearly sighing in relief he quickly moved up behind her before turning her around, looking her over quickly without saying a word before pulling her close and hugged her tightly. resting his bruised cheek against hers as he closed his eyes. '' don't do that again you had me worried to death about you , been up all night looking for you.w here did you go ?"

Hamona pushes him gently away from her and says, “It don’t matter where I went Marcus. We cannot be together.” She goes to the office saying that she is far enough ahead in her classes to take two months off and that she wanted to do it. She got dismissed and she ran home planning her father’s death in her mind. She goes home and waits for her father to come home and attacks him. Her mother stabs her in the back and yells, “I won’t let you take him from me!” Hamona looks at her mother wide-eyed and ends up wounded both her parents instead of killing them. She falls to the floor with a knife in her back.

confused by what she said he tried to follow her but ended up being stuck at school until it released the students, the moment the bell rang however he was out of there and running towards her place, when he got there her parents where gone but by the amount of blood on the floor he could tell they where wounded, not caring about that he searched for her before he found her passed out on the floor with a knife in her back.Making himself calm down before he did something stupid he immediately called the police. staying with her till the ambulance came. He was able to go with her before having to wait in the waiting room as she went into the surgery.

when she was out he was able to sit in her room with her , waiting for her to wake up.

Hamona wakes up and looks around unsure where she was. She sees Marcus and sadly looks away from him. She asks, “What are you doing here?” She gets out of bed and starts walking out of the room to see police waiting for her. They look up at her with calm faces but worried eyes. She looks at them and asks, “What is going to happen to me now?” The police captain says, “Nothing Hamona. You were defending yourself against your mother and father. They were caught outside the state. You are free from them.”

he gots up and follows her before gently taking her arm' ' back in the bed, the nurses will fuss over you if they see you are out'' he glanced at the police before relaxing as he ushers her back to the bed'' and i am here because i love you and was afraid of losing you.. '' he helped her back onto the bed as he tilted her face up to lightly place a gentle kiss on her lips'' you where in surgery , you have stitches you need to rest. ''

Hamona looks at him a moment as he kissed her lips. She says sadly, “My mother put the knife in my back. She was trying to kill me to safe him. I did not want to hurt her but she would not stop stabbing my back.” She lets her tears fall as she knew she was safe for now. The police captain comes in with a homemade blanket and says to her, “This is for you Hamona.” She smiles and cuddles into the blanket as he covers it with her.

he glanced at the captian before smiling slightly then turned back to her, climbing up on the bed with her before wrapping his arms around her and pulled her close to him '' i know hun. but they are locked up now, they can't get you . from what i hear they wont be out for a very long time and by then hopefully you will have your own place, in college if i am not mistaken or possibly married and far from here so they can't find you '' smiled and lightly kissed her cheeks.

Hamona cuddles up to him and lays her head on his chest. She says, “I will be going to college online instead of on a compass. That way I can still do my writing on the side. I am not giving up that dream for anything.” She whimpers softly as the stitches were already itching badly. She says, “I hate to be a fast healer. My back is itching like crazy.”

he blinked and laughed slightly before shaking his head relaxing as he snuggled against her '' hmm a nurse will come in and put some cream on it. heh i think stitches always itch i used to have some when i split my lip open in a fight.''

Hamona looks at him and says, "I remember that. You should not have gotten in that fight in the first place." She sees a nurse come in with some sort of cream and moves her robe to put the cream on her stitches. She relaxes some as her itches go away.

he rolled his eyes'' i am a guy , i always get into fights. its part of the guy thing. '' he waited for the nurse to finish what she was doing before she walked out. '' there all better now? they want to keep you over night for observation and what not before releasing you.'' he sighed as he leaned back with her. '' don't worry they said i can stay the night here as well. '' he grinned as he looked up at her.'' i sorta told them i wasn't leaving.''

Hamona looks at him and says, "You should go home and rest my love." She tenses some as she could feel where they had wrapped gnaws around her wounds. She sighs and says more to herself than anyone else, "This is going to drive me nuts."

he grinned as he arched a brow at her'' i am good. they are bringing blankets for me, said i could sleep on that couch over there.. its actually comfortable. '' he laughed slightly as he glanced at the gauze. '' hey, be glad you don't have a broken bone or something.. cause casts itch a hell of a lot more then just little stitches and some bandaids trust me. ''

Hamona sighs and says, “I want you to go home.” She moves away from him and faces the window instead of him. She slowly drifts into a deep sleep because of some pain meds the doctors put in her Iv. She wakes up five hours later as pain consumes her body’s senses. She presses the nurse button and the nurse gets her more pain meds.

he snorted slightly as he shook his head'' nope. i am going to be here until they release you '' he watched her fall asleep so carefully got off the bed so as not to disturb her sleep and placed the blanket carefully on her before laying down on the couch and drifted off every now and then, he was half awake when the nurses came in to give her meds before watching her fall back asleep again.

by the next day he was already up early in the morning just waiting for the doctor to sign the release papers as he pulled a chair up next to her bed, watching her sleep. he already had the papers for written prescriptions for her. antibiotics and pain meds that she will need to have for the next week until she was able to handle it on her own.leaning over he lightly kissed her cheek'' rise and shine hun.. your going to be released soon. you just can't do a whole lot while your healing.''

Hamona looks at him as she wakes up and says, “I don’t want to be up yet.” A nurse comes in and helps her get in a wheelchair so she would not have to walk out of the hospital. When they get outside, the police captain is waiting for them and he helps her into his car. He looks at her a moment and says, “The school is going to send your homework home so you don’t have to worry about healing too much. Everyone wants you to take your time.”

he grinned'' yeah i know you don't want to get up yet, you can sleep when we get home. '' he glanced at the captain slightly as he sat down next to her. '' she is staying with me. haven't gotten her house cleaned up yet.my mom already has clothes for her.'' he looked back at her and smiled'' and mom says you can sleep all you want, you got plenty of time to do homework later.''

The captain drives them to Marcus’s house and then carries Hamona into the house. She looks at the captain and says, “You did not have to carry me in.” He says, “I rather carry you than risk you pulling the wrong way on your back and pulling your stitches out.” He carries her to Marcus’s room and puts her in the bed gently. She relaxes some in the bed and starts to fall asleep quickly.
