she got up , eyeing the woman who seemed to be nice enough she looked over at william. , Hopefully he would stay close, she really didn't feel comfortable with anyone else but him around. He didn't have to worry about her saying anything to anyone else about him, so she knew he really wasn't warning her again, but only shadow.

looking back to the woman she followed her, not sure exactly where she was going. the woman took her to to a small lean too tent that seemed empty , she was told she could sleep there for as long as she needed before the woman left, sitting down on the bed roll she ran a hand through her hair, wishing she had a comb, she hated having long hair since it tangled so easily, she would have loved to have cut it shoulder length short but she was never allowed. watching a few more of the people wonder around and talk. she looked over to where william was sitting one more time just to make sure he was there before she curled up on the bed and closed her eyes. it didn't take long for her to fall asleep.

The Shadow and William talked for a bit more. He wanted to know why William would do what he did when he was a prince and could live the life of luxuary. William told him how being a prince was not all that it was cracked up to be. Sure you could have anything you wanted, but it lacked something, lacked the feel of being earned, the feeling that you deserved it. Yes you had good food every day, but when you saw those that didn't it made you feel bad and think about why do you have it so good and they don't. He went on about how boring it was learning all the pomp and ceremony for visiting royalty and dignataries. Putting on a smiling face when you hated the person's guts or thought that they were the foulest thing on earth.

He told the Shadow that he decided to do something about it and after he helped his own people raise their standard of living he began helping others in other kingdoms. The Shadow chuckled and slapped William on the shoulder. "We need more kings and princes like you my friend. Then maybe there would be no need for men like me." William then rose and went over to where Harmony was sleeping. He pulled the blanket up on her, that had fallen away. Going to his horse he took his bed roll and returned and laid it down close to where she was and streached out and covered himself with the blanket and his cloak. In the morning they would continue on.

she slept completely through the night, not even waking when he pulled the blanket over her again., when the sun rose she woke to the sound of laughing children running about.getting up she stretched slowly, seeing william still asleep near her on his bed roll. it didn't take long though for one of the women to notice she was awake.

The woman smiled, giving her a bowl of food they had just made before sitting down next to her, glancing over at william as well before looking back at her.. '' you should eat.. Shadow says to make sure you don't leave here hungry.. '' looking her over slowly before noticing her hair she frowned.. '' after you eat i can take you down to the lake to bath and get your hair fixed.. from the looks of it you left with out a brush. ''

Harmony couldn't help the small blush that crept up her cheeks. embarrassed'' left with nothing but the clothing on my back.. he bought these for mer '' she mumbled, slowly eating the hot meal. she was not used to this amount of kindness from anyone, not even from her old master but she didn't sense any alterior motives from any of them. not even william even though he admitted it himself that he only took her because he had been paid to do so. When she finished the meal the woman took the bowl and put it with the other dishes before taking her hand.

'' don't you worry , mr. fox will not leave without you. '' it didn't take long for them to get to the lake , she helped Harmony bath quickly before got her redressed and back to the camp, making her sit down once more before she sat down behind her and began to work on her hair. it only took an hour to work all the tangles out before she braided her long hair and gave her the brush she had used'' here, you can have this. you look like you will need it.. you can come and get me if you need anything. .. '' she got up and headed back to her tent before coming back moments later to give her another bowl of food'' you should give that to him so he is not hungry before he makes the trip as well. ''

Harmony gave a small thank you and watched her leave again, looking over to William she scooted over to him before gently shook his shoulder'' master fox? there is breakfast for you .. '' she didn't know if he would be mad for her waking him up but she didn't want his food getting cold.

William slept good. He felt safe where he was. When Harmony shook his shoulder, he opened his eyes and turned to look up at her. Her hair was combed and braided and she looked quite beautiful. "Well now, you have been up for awhile." Sitting up he smelled the food and took the bowl from her. "Thank you." he said. As he ate he looked about the camp in the light of day. There had to be at least a hundred people in the encampment. So many people, so many lives that had been turned upside down because of the King. At least some would be able to start over in Fiona. The nobles there had lots of land that could use good people. William and his father had ousted those that only thought of themselves and were greedy.

Nobility did not mean that the people were only there to provide for you. A noble had a responsibility to ensure that his people were taken care of and protected. Yes the land belonged to the nobles, and the people worked for the nobles, planting crops, havesting them and selling them, and paying taxes, fair taxes. The money that they received in taxes helped pay the soldiers, build and repair roads along with other things like schools for the children and such and also to live a good life as well. Without the people the nobles would have nothing. So it would be wise to insure that the people were happy and content so that they would and could keep doing what they did.

But not all kingdoms were like that. Finishing his food, he smiled at Harmony. "Guess it is time for us to get going. The sooner we get there the sooner I can plan my next move." He stood up and then rolled up his bed roll. Taking her by the arm he lead her back to the horses where he tied his bed roll on and watched as The Shadow approached. With him he brought a sack of provisions that would last him and Harmony for a couple days, and William pulled out a couple large bags of gold coins from his saddle bags. The Shadow's men had left them alone. These though he gave to the man "Make sure your people here and throughout the kingdom gets this. It will go along way helping those that are in need."

The Shadow took the bags of gold. "Rest assured it will get to the people." he told William.

Mounting up on his horse he helped Harmony up. About another days journey and we will be there."

she gave a slight smile when he commented on her being up for a while.. '' i am used to being up at the crack of dawn.. where i lived if you weren't up , you got smacked or a bucket of ice cold water dumped on you .. '' and boy had she hated those days. she lightly tugged on the tail of her braid before shrugging.. '' would rather have it cut.. it tangles to easily when its this long.. '' she watched him eat before following him to the horses , waiting as he tied the bed roll on and handed Shadow the bags of gold, she glanced at the horse not really looking forward to another days ride in a saddle. when he helped her up onto the horse she relaxed and glanced up at him.. '' just another day? good, don't think my butt can take any more of sitting on these stupid saddles. ''

since she was not used to riding horses, she had sores and slight bruising on her backside and inner thighs, she knew if she rode long enough she would get used to it but she still didn't like it. she turned a beat red though when some of the men busted out laughing as they past, more then likely hearing what she had said and where now making jokes about it.. she didn't mind that much, that and she knew when he took her away from whoever bought her again, she would more then likely end up on another horse.

William had to chuckle at her comments about her ass and the saddle. "You will get use to it." he told her and slipped an arm about her to keep her from falling off. She felt strangely good against him and to the touch. He heard the laughter and the comments and shook his head. They didn't mean anything bad. Soon they were a distance from the camp and on their way to the rendevoue. It was strange that Harmony was so calm about it all. But of course she was a slave and was conditioned to obey and accept things.

The second horse was in tow and would make it easier for them. They could switch to the other horse and not tire his out, there fore make better time. "What would you like to do after I get you out of this exchange?" he asked her. She would have to start thinking about that.

she frowned slightly as she glanced up at him, feeling comfortable leaning against him with his arm around her, she liked it and was enjoying it greatly, '' hmm well don't know.. would like to get my tattoo removed or covered.. actually be free for once. '' she shrugged '' wishful thinking i suppose.. don't know how the whole thing is supposed to happen anyways.. ''

she was going to have to think it over though, she really didn't know what she would do, she had no place to live really, and frankly she didn't know much on how to survive on her own. looking up at him again she frowned. '' i would think you have plenty of people to take care of your home while your gone i think. '' she knew what he did and was pretty sure he wouldn't want to drag her along wherever he was going.'' would you have any idea's i might be able to use?"

Well she was the first slave that he was to free, so he didn't know much of what to expect. But she had a skill that might help her along. A free person could make a living doing what she could do, though she would need some one to manage her, to find places for her to perform and negotiate payment. When she said that he had plenty of people to take care of his home when he was gone, he chuckled.

Indeed he had a staff of servents to keep his own place clean and looking good. His parents lived in the castle, in the capital of their kingdom. He had a place, a manor house in the country that he lived at mostly, only going to the castle for functions. "I think with your ability with the harp and singing you will do well."

she glanced up at him slightly before flushing, '' maybe, harps are not free you know, the one i had cost a lot, and i left it at the castle. '' bit her lip slightly, wishing she had it again she ached to play , even if she didn't need to sing, the soft melodies she could do with the harp was soothing enough.

She was sure she could figure things out later, she could learn from her mistakes so if it took her a few times to find something, she didn't mind. '' i miss playing... '' she mumbled, there was no doubt in her mind that she was born to play ,her fingers ached to stroke the strings of the harp, a true and rare gift she was sure. Half closing her eyes she sighed, pushing the thoughts out of her head before thinking of other things, mostly about what was going to happen once they arrived at their destination, she didn't trust easily, yet william had her full trust there. and knew he would keep his word in helping her.

The rest of the trip was uneventful. Though they saw people here and there, none paid them any attention. Finally they came to the large town that he was to meet the man. Here he had already paid for a room and when he arrived at the Inn, the stable boy took the horses and lead them away. He grabbed his saddle bags and placed an arm about Harmony's waist. "We will be waiting here till contacted." he told her.

He took her up to the room and told her, "You stay here. I am going to go out and look around. It is possible that I will be able to find out where the meeting will take place and find a way to extract you form it once the transaction has been completed." he reached over and caressed her face. "Don't worry, I will find a way." He left her and closed the door. Finding out if some rich person was in town was not hard to do. All he had to do was aske a few people in the town to find out that there was a wealthy man that had arrived and get a name. He rolled his eyes and shook his head when he found out who it was.

He knew of this guy and didn't like him much. He was a Duke in another kingdom that wanted to own anything that was rare. He would do anything he could to aquire what he wanted. More inquires told him where the meeting would take place. The old fool had rented a building for it. Normally he would not have been checking things out like this but he needed to find a way to get Harmony away after he got paid. He found the building and saw that it had a few men guarding it, the ground entrances anyways. He was able to get in from the roof and look around, finding various escape routes and the obvious way that the Duke was going to use to leave. A carriage already waited by a rear door to the building.

Returning to the Inn, he opened the door to the room.

she followed him up to the inn, and then to the room before her eyes widened in surprise when he caressed her face before leaving, still a bit shocked she touched her cheek where he had touched her before looking around, she slowly relaxed, she wasn't too worried , but it felt good to have him try and reassure her about it. she spent the time she had alone to look around, find the bathroom, wash her face a little before going to the bed and sitting down, with nothing much to do but wait for his return she relaxed, undoing the braid in her hair before running her fingers through it.

slowly humming to herself as she tugged at the shirt a little,definitely snug fitting , she untucked the shirt before releasing the first few buttons on it to get more comfortable, after that she kicked her shoes off and layed back on the bed, just staring at the roof a bit , occupying herself by wondering what she was going to do if she found a harp, she must have drifted off to sleep in the process for a while before she heard the door opening, tensing slightly she leaned up immediately before relaxing when she saw that it was william and no other stranger. '' hope you found something good? '' she slightly wondered if he brought anything to snack on, she was a little hungry but managed to ignore it and actually had water to make her feel full for a while.

"Oh and the guy that hired me..............I now know who it is. Duke Vello, known as the Collector." he was a fairly well known noble through out the kingdoms.

she sat up completely smelling the food and looked over at it, smiling slightly as she looked back at him, frowning'' oh ok. duke vello?" oh yea she had heard of him and really didn't like him much, he collected things that he liked, and was a very jealous sort too. there was even a rumor going on that he had killed someone for trying to take something from him, she didn't know what it was but really didn't want to find out.

she glanced at him again and frowned'' he does not know who you are does he? would really not want you getting in trouble just to get me out of there. ''

"No he doesn't know who I am or what I look like." he smiled. If all went as he planned, in the short time he had to make it, then Harmony would be free and the Duke would be in trouble withe the prince and the king of the land. A knock on the door made William put on his mask and move to the door. He did not open it but inquired who was there. The man on the other side of the door told him where the meeting was to be and then he left. "Now my dear the game is afoot. Just relax and in a short time you will not even be touched by this fool."

Taking her by the arm he opened the door and peered out. Then opening it fully he guided Harmony out the back way of the Inn and through the streets to the meeting place. There were the same guards as earlier and he saw his two hired thieves nearby. They gave him the thumbs up that all was ready. He then proceeded to the building and entered it. A man meet them at the door and escorted them to the large room, where the Duke sat in the shadows. "Here is what you requested." he told the Duke. The man that had escorted them went forward and returned with the rest of the gold that had been the price of Williams' services. The man then took Harmony by the arm and lead her out the back towards the carriage.

"Excellent work, Silver Fox. I do believe that I shall have more work for you in the future." The Duke's thick voice came across the room.

"Perhaps. You know how to contact me." He said. Meanwhile the two thieves had alerted the soldiers in the town that Harmony was there and being bought by the Duke. They rushed to the building where the trade was being done. As the guards came running in to inform the Duke that soldiers were outside, "What is this sir." William sounded angry, "I thought this was all secret." he looked around as if looking for a way out. "If this is your way of trying to get me caught, you will regret it dearly." he said and made for the way he had already planned out. Hopefully his little bit of acting would make it look as if he had nothing to do with happened next.

As the man escorting Harmony out was about at the door, his two hired thieves knocked him unconsious and drug him out of sight then whispered to Harmony, "The Silver Fox says to come with us. They took her by the hand and hastily took her to another part of the building as the soldiers burst in. The Duke ran for the carriage as the soldiers blocked off his escape.

she watched him a bit as he didn't open the door for whoever was on the other side, she nodded slightly to what he had said before pulling her shoes on just as he pulled her by the arm and lead her to wherever they where meeting. She barely caught glimpses of the other two that where apparently helping him before she was pulled inside. Looking around with wide eyes she stared at the duke a moment before once again she was passed off to another man, His grip a little tight on her arm as he lead her towards the back.

It wasn't no more then maybe a few seconds to a few minutes later that she heard a commotion near the front, worried that something was going wrong she tried to pull her arm free from the man escorting her, fixing to say something before he was knocked out by the same two men she had seen out front. when she was told that silver fox wanted her to go with them she allowed them to take her hand and quickly pull her out into hiding as soldiers filled into the home. She didn't know what was going on for the most part, though figured silver fox would find them when it was time to get out. she kept quiet, listening to the angry sounds of the duke as he was arrested for something.

William had made his way to a secluded and almost inaccesable spot in the building. He heard the soldiers and their commands and of course the Duke's own shouts. Even though he was a Duke the soldiers had orders to arrest anyone suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of Harmony. He could just see the Duke's face as he was lead off. It made him grin. Once the soldiers had searched the place and left he emerged from his hidding place and went to meet up with the two thieves.

They had taken Harmony to another safe place that William had found and informed the thieves of. They stayed there with her until William came to claim her. Now that the Duke was in custody, at least for a while, until he could talk his way out of it. When her saw her he grinned behind the mask and nodded to the two thieves. They inturn grinned and quietly disappeared. "Well you are now free of both your former master and the Duke, and I do think we have a carriage outside." he lead her out to it.

she relaxed the moment she saw him come into the room, though jumped slightly in surprise when the other two disappeared she looked around and frowned'' not even going to ask where they went.'' before she looked up at him and pretty much grinned, she was extremely happy and followed him outside to the carriage, she stopped to look at up at him and couldn't contain herself as she pretty much hugged him. '' you have no idea how greatfull i am to you helping me.. '' catching herself she jumped back, flushed and glanced away .. ''sorry... '' she had no idea what was wrong with her other then the fact that for the first time in her life she truly felt good about a situation.

climbing into the carriage she glanced back at him as she settled on the seat.. '' just out of curiousity.. where are we going now? and well what are you going to do?"

Parking the carriage a bit away from the Inn, "Stay here and inside the carriage." he told her. It was an enclosed one so no one could see who was inside unless they looked through the window openings.

Fetching the horses was not hard, the stable boy had them ready, as he had seen the soldiers milling about. He walked the horses in a round about way back to the carriage and tied their reigns to the back of it and again got up into the driver's seat. Before long they were leaving the town and were on their way to Williams kingdom. Once out of town he cracked the whip and the carriage lurched forward at a faster pace as the horse sped up. Moeing a small door aside he leaned down and told Harmony, "We will stop as soon as I am sure that there is no one following."

she frowned as the coach lurched forward when he got it going with the horses as he told her he had to get the other horses form the inn'' oh, well hopefully that doesn't happen this soon.. '' she leaned back, staying away from the windows before he even had to tell her to.She waited patiently as he got the horses from the inn, always doing as he said knowing he had a good reason to tell her to do those things.

Once they got going again she nearly jumped when the small door was pushed aside and leaned in. '' oh.. well alright, can't expect me to complain you know since your the one that knows what your doing. '' she moved to the seat that was closer to the small door so he wouldn't have to strain to see her. '' whats going to happen tot he carriage horses?"

William laughed as she asked what was going to happen to the carriage horses. "I would not worry about them. I thought we would use the carriage for a while longer, at least until we got to the border. I am hoping that the Duke will think his man made it to the carriage with you and whisked you away to his castle." If he did, then he would say nothing about it and the soldiers would not be looking for it. Not untill it was to late. Hopefully he would see it as his man had taken Harmony for himself when he failed to show up at the castle with her.

He turned back to watch the road, and flicked the reigns again. Another successful theft and one that he really enjoyed doing. Now the prince and the Duke would not have her or her talents. The carriage rolled along for another couple hours and he finally pulled the carriage off the road and found an outcropping of rocks to hide it behind. Climbing down from the driver's seat he opened the door and looked at Harmony. "Well you are far from both the prince and Duke now." he smiled "I figure that we can rest in the carriage for awhile before going on. That is unless you wish to sleep on the ground again."

she was nearly drifting on a light sleep as the carriage moved before she jerked awake when she felt it stop, glancing around she looked over at him as he pulled the door open and spoke, she was quick to make a face at him suggesting if she wanted to sleep on the ground again.. '' no thanks.. would rather sleep in here.. last time i was on the ground, i woke up with some strange guy over me... '' she mumbled, that and the seats where a bit comfortable, she stretched slowly , feeling some of the tension just melt away from her body, and the carriage was certainly big enough to share with atleast three people.

she already knew the carriage doors could lock anyways, so she felt a little bit safer about sleeping in there. Atleast this time she hoped she wouldn't wake with anyone standing over her or something. '' think the duke will be really mad at you if he ever gets released from the guards.. though it might be a while. ''

William went and got their bed rolls and brought them back to the carriage and climbed in, shutting the door behind him. The cushioned benches were better then the ground. One had to sort of curl up a bit but it would be alright. If not he would lay on the floor of the carriage where he could streach out more. "You look more relaxed now." he told her, noticing she had not buttoned up her shirt yet. They had felt good pressed up against him.

He spread out his bed roll and then placed hers on the seat next to her. "It has been quite the night and I think we both need some sleep." he grinned and sat down on the opposit bench looking at her and her tits, wondering what they would feel like in his hands.

Now William didn't know how to answer her question. He grinned for he had a feeling she knew what he was thinking. Though she should know that all men probably looked at her the same way. she had to shift a little, tucking her legs under her a bit as she studied him, she had thought of those things plenty of times, she was only human after all, '' i would say i been thinking more about it lately then before though.... haven't really had any guy that caught my attention as badly as you do.'' she had to be honest, she wouldn't lie to him, only because of all the things he had done for her, few things, but to her they where great things.
