Drake looks down into her eyes obviously not liking her teasing. He smiles some though to let her know he was not mad. He continues to hum her his song. He knew she would relax with him here with her. He listens to her heart rate unsure if she would be truly happy with him as a vampire? He did not think she would be.

Although she could tell that he didnt like her teasing, she was worried she was certain that he wouldnt get too angry. She had to admit though, the cliff jumping did appeal to her, she wouldnt tell him that though and even though he could read her mind she hoped that she could keep it hidden from him so that he didnt worry. There wasnt like there was much time for her to do it with Drake watching her like a hawk, except when he went hunting, but he would probably still be able to find her and stop her before she did anything rash.

The more he hummed the more relaxed she became and she was able to close her eyes, her heat rate slowed as did her breathing to a point where she was almost asleep. She snuggled into him and whispered "I love you Drake" She kissed his neck. Then laid down on his chest and held on to him as if she was frightened that he would leave her.

Drake looks at her as her arms held him down tightly. He says with a smile, "I am not going to leave you my sweet soul mate. Rest easy knowing I will always be here with you." He closes his eyes some. She had some fears left in her but he did not mind. He holds her close with a smile just happy to have her.

Snuggling into his arms more Brook sighed. She felt comforted by his words She started to softly trace odd shapes into his arms as he relaxed her. She kept her eyes close but was not asleep not yet, she just wanted to feel him and his strong arms.

Finally sleep found her and she silently slept in his arms.

Drake watches her sleep since he is unable to sleep. He looks at the ceiling sadly as he was unsure if he should stay. If he left her, she hurt herself but she would die if he stayed. He sighs some as he was unsure what to do. He looks at her and kisses her deeply. He was being stupid again but he couldn't help it.

Sleeping soundly when wrapped in his arms Brook normally didnt get troubled by her bad dreams but her body seemed to sense his sadness and his doubt and they crept in. The head lights of the oncoming car, the screaming, the fire, She whimpered in distress in her sleep and turned from side to side.

His kiss brook her from her dreams though. She felt his lips on her own and it awoken her. She slowly wrapped her arms around his neck. "Thank you" She whispered then deepeend the kiss slipping her tongue in to his mouth softly dueling with his. She looked up at him with pure love and trust.

Drake looks at her surprised that she had deepened the kiss. He smiles inwardly and kisses her back playing with her tongue. He wraps his arms around her and keeps kissing her. He knew she was feeling shaken by the nightmares again. He puts his cold fingers on her bare skin. He slowly begins to relax her shaky and achy body. He wanted to let her know she is safe.

Glad that he returned the kiss Brook melted into his strong arms. She wanted to be closer and to feel him and it seemed as if he knew that since he put his fingers on her bare skin. She shivered slightly but let out a soft moan. She looked up at him into his eyes and broke the kiss softly.

"I know you love me Drake, and I know what I asked of you is really hard, and I will understand if you do not want to change me" She let a tear fall down her face. "I will be with you either way for as long as I can"

Drake looks at her surprised again by her words. He sighs softly. "The elders knows of you now though my love. The only choices I have are to turn you or leave you forever. Either choice I choose will caused the both of us pain. I turn you, you will be blood hungry and need hundreds of years to teach our ways. If I leave you, we both will end up dead." (I got inuyasha on the brain.)

She had forgotten about the elders she sighed, there was no way around it, either he had to change her and therefore it would cause him pain, seeing her act all crazy, or he had to leave her and she couldnt live without him, he was the first person too look past her ugly scars to see her.

She kissed him again. "Well I could risk my life, and for you to save me you woul have to turn me, would that make it easier?"

Drake looks at her and says, "Hun that would not help. We are going to wait until you're graduated before I turn you. That reminds me we have a tradition in my family. Each time one of us finds our soul mate, we do bonding ceremony type thing." He strokes her cheek and says, "But we don't have to do it." He kisses her deeply.

Frowning she looked up at him as she stroked his face. "I am sorry I was just trying to help" She thought knowing that he could read it. She felt bad for him but when he brought up the tradition she perked up and looked up at him.

"I would do anything for you my love, what is this bonding ceremony?" She asked just before he kised her and she was distracted by returning the passionate kiss.

Drake kisses happily even though he was able to read her thoughts clear as day when they're this close. He breaks the kiss and says, "It is kind of like a wedding but its is not. Since you're my mate you have to be sworn into the coven. Therefore when you're bound to me, you're bound to the coven as well. Kinda like a welcome ceremony for everyone. Its hard to explain."

She listened intently to what he was saying. She licked her lips a little nervously about metting his whole coven. She looked into his eyes. "Baby I would love to do that for oyu" She intwined her fingers into his.

She stroked his strong arms and whispered "But what if they dont like me" It was a stupid fear really, most would be scared that they would be walking into a coven of vampires even if they didnt attack humans, not worried if they would like them or not.

She kissed his lips softly then looked into his eyes "When will this happen?"

Drake says, "I don't care if they do or don't like you. You are my mate and I want to spend all of my life with you. Although I doubt they won't like you." He kisses her and says, "It can happen when you are ready for it. We can wait until you are turned if that is what you wish. It doesn't matter to me."

Letting out a nervous laugh when Drake made his comment. She stroked his face softly and kissed him back. She knew that she would never let him chose her over his family, or his coven, but she wouldnt let him know that. She did her best not to even think about it, for she knew that even with her just thinking it he would pick up on it and most likely get angrey with her again and leave her. And if he left her in anger again she wasnt sure what she would do.

She looked into their eyes "Well if I go as a human wont my scent tempt them?" She asked a little worried.

Drake looks at her sensing something was wrong. He says, "They know how I feel about you. Given the choice they would do the same thing." He smiles some as she brings up his family having issues with her scent. He says, "They will be fine my love and they will like you just fine." He kisses her gently and looks in her eyes.

Relaxing that this time, Brook grinned, it seemed that this time he had not been able to read his thoughts this time she kissed him softly on the lips and played with his strong arms.

She chuckled slightly when he said that his family would like her. "Maybe they will like me too much" She teased. Then she looked into his eyes. "I will do this ceremony on one condition"

She took a deep breath "I really like chiverly" She licked her lips. "Part of that is a man asks the girls father first" She looked him in the eye. "If you do that I will do it before you change me, if not I will wait until after you change me"

Drake looks at her taking in every word she is saying. He says, "How would I explain what we plan on doing at my place my love?" His tone was calm and relaxed. He feels her run her hand up and down his arms. He relaxes under her soft touch. He says, "My love you know I could never be truly angry with you right?"

Blushing Brook shook his head. "I didnt mean to ask him premission about that" She giggled slightly and stroked his face. "I mean for you to ask him premission to marry me" She looked up at him. "It is important to me but its not a deal breaker" She gently kissed the side of his lips and looked into his eyes.

"Why would you be angry at me?" She asked a little nervously.

He says sensing her go on edge, "I mean I don't want you to be afraid to tell things because I might get angry. I could never get mad at you." He kisses her nose gently.

The fact that Drake was already going to ask her father some how made it all the better. She let out a squeel then wrapped her arms around his neck. When he explained himself she giggled slightly. "Well its hard, since you can already read my mind and soul, I am just new to this all."

She looked into his eyes. "and I do not mean the whole vampire thing, I mean the whoile boyfriend girlfirned thing, even before my accident and my ugly scars no one was realy intrested in me"

She closed her eyes as he kissed her nose and smiled. "You do make me melt though" She pulled him down on her and licked her lips. "So when should we do this ceremony thing and what do I need to do for it?"

Drake looks at her as she let out a squeal. He was a bit surprised by that but he was glad she was happy. He says, "In the ceremony all you need to do is open your heart to the coven." He kisses her deeply and says, "I figured I would ask your father in a week or two so he doesn't see it as too sudden."

Nodding Broke softly stroke his arms. "Of course my heart is open" She nuzzled his neck. "Although they have never spoken to me, the couple times I saw them I know they look past my scars and what my past is" She said softly then looked back at him. "Just like you" She licked her lips and then softly kissed him, undemanding she just wanted to love him.

"My love you have been here for a while, are you not hungry" She didnt want him to leave but she was worried about him getting weak because of her.

Drake looks at her with a smile as always seems to be worried about him. He says, "My love I will feed later. Right now I want to make sure you are okay my love." He looks in her eyes calmly. He says, "I still think your father might not like me after he finds out my intentions to marry you."
