Snuggling into him Brook sighed contently "Thank you Drake" She kissed him back then kissed his neck and his cheek then nipped at his neck gently and growled then laid back down strocking his side softly.

She blushed and nuzzled her face into his neck a little ashamed. "I didnt mean that my love" She relaxed her whole body then smiled and sighed. "Are you coming back to school?"

Drake looks at the window a moment and says, “I don’t know if I am going back to school or not. I mean are you ready to go back to school yet yourself? I know that you have kind of stopped going there directly since I left.” He looks down at her and playfully kisses her neck gently.

Watching Drake as he looked out the window she tensed thinking that he had seen or heard something but then she softly stroked his neck in an attempt to calm him down and make sure his attention stayed on her.

She sighed "I want to, I mean I want my father to see me graduate" She pause my sister" She had to stop because she felt the tears coming on "My sister would want it" She kissed him softly and looked him in his eyes. "Hmmmm so you did some spying on me did you? She gigled "When else did you spy on me, when I slept" She was trying to make light of it to let him know she didnt hold it against him that he had left.

"Hey thats not fair" She said as he playfully kissed her neck. "You know how to get me but I dont know how to get your"

Drake feels her touch and turns back to her. He says as he continues to kiss her neck, "I only spied a little bit." He nibbles on her neck and caresses her body. He says, "You are so beautiful my love." He looks in her eyes with love as he knew she has doubts about her own powerful beauty and the power she held over him.

Seeing that his attention was back on her Brook smiled and nodded to his confession. "So when I had dreams of an Angel watching over me it was you?" She playfully suckled his ear. "You are my protector my love"

She blushed as he called her beautiful "Only in your eyes my love" She nuzzled her face into his neck, "I do love you" She yawned but tried to hide it. She of course didnt want him to strave but she didnt want to be alone either.

Drake looks at her with a sigh and says, “I know you don’t want to be alone but I need to go feed. People are going to be drawing blood soon and don’t want to lose control.” He kisses her deeply and places her phone in her hand. He says, “You can call me or text me if you need me. Try to rest a bit my love.”

As soon as he sighed she knew what was coming he was leaving her. She knew this time it wouldnt be for too long though she was certain that he would come back. At the mention of blood work she shuttered remember the slicing feeling of yet another accident, she wasnt sure if she would ever be able to ride or drive in a car again.

She took the phone and sighed "Alright love" She kissed him on the lips and looked up at him. "I could always sleep when you helped me" She looked up at him with a bit of a pleading look, she wasnt sure if he would since she was still techinally in critical conditon.

Drake puts his hand on her cheek and starts to put her to sleep. He says with a smile, “You will sleep like a baby while I feed. You will dream of happy things like the field of flowers and painting at the cliffs.” He kisses her as the mist fills her mind once more. He then covers her with a blanket and leaves to feed.

Closing her eyes as the touched her cheek she nodded and sighed and soon fell asleep. She did dream of the field of flowers, the one that he had taken her too before he left. She wasnt herself though, she had been changed she could tell.

It changed and she was painting at the cliffs with the entire family they were close. The nurses came in and tested her blood, amazed that she slept through the whole thing.

Back at the house Comet was not during good, he had ran out of food, since no one had been home to check on him. He sat on Brooks bed and meowed worried about his master.

Angie comes into Brook’s bedroom and got more food and water for him. She says to him, “Your master will be home soon.” She then joined Drake and the others and they were feeding as a family. A few hours later Drake comes back with a dozen roses in a vase for Brook. The hospital room needed a little more life in it.

The cat purred as he was given more food then licked his nose and seeemed to nod when Angie informed him of Brooks condition. The laid down on her bed again. He was a strange cat and missed his master very much.

When Drake came back Brook was still asleep, all the test had been completed and the doctors were still baffled on her recovery. They nodded when Drake came in. "You and her must have a conection thats the only thing we can think of that would cause her recovery so quickly." They paused "You know she nearly died a few times, its just a miriacle that she is still alive and that is saying something coming from a doctor, we are suppose to be al about sience, but science says she should have died at least three times over by now."

They looked at him. "As long as she stays stable and her heart rate doesnt jump she can go home soon, but might need to come back for more phyical training if her legs dont start working, she could be paralized."

Drake chuckled inwardly as the doctor worried about her legs. He says, “I have a feeling she will be fine.” He knew his blood had restored her body to its healthy state. She would be able to walk fine. Once the doctor goes away he lays down beside her. He says in her ear, “I am back my love. You will be able to go home soon.”

As soon as she felt him lay down beside her Brook leaned into him and slowly woke up. "I get to go home?" She asked in her typical 'just woke up voice' She smiled and then kissed his leps softly. "Thank you for coming back, how are you feeling I knew you were hungry"

She then sat up quickly, a bit too quickly as she suddenly felt very dizy, "Comet" She looked at Drake "No one has been there to check on him, she was just beginning to panic when the tears started to form. "He is probably starvign and worried about me"

Drake looks at her and says stroking her cheek, “Angie stopped by your house and fed and watered him for you. She told me that he is worried about you.” He kisses her on the nose. “I feel much better now that I have fed. Your dad will be here to take you home. My family and I need to talk some stuff out before I tell your dad what we are.”

Calming down Brook nodded and sat back down. "Please thank Angie for me" She licked her lips and smiled "Comet doesnt like to be alone, ever since I got him from the shelter" She closed her eyes as he kissed her nose.

"I am glad you are feeling better, I am still angry that you starved yourself after you left me, what if something had happened and you had been to weak to help me?" She sighed and shook her head again. She still didnt feel worthy to be with him, she was a clumbsy emotional human.

She would have gone more on her little selfconcious silent worries but he then made his coment. "Aww Drake do you have to?

She looked at him her eyes full of worry. "I am not sure how he is going to takeit"

Drake looks at her and says, “Your dad is expecting his questions to get answered and that is what I am going to do. It is the only way he is going to let me stay with you.” He kisses her forehead. “I also need your father’s blessing if we are going to be married to one another.” He strokes her cheek gently.

If Drake had not been touching her she would have probably had another panic attack but Drake was able to keep her calm even by just touching her. She sighed. "I know he as to know, I am just scared to lose you again" She stroked his cheek and nuzzled his neck. "I love you Drake" She whispered softly.

She liked the idea of being married. "If he agrees to allow you to marry me, when will you do so?"

Drake looks at her with a sigh, “I am not leaving again. If I have to leave again, I am taking you with me. As for when I would marry you, it would have to be up to you baby girl. It is up to you if you want to be married quickly or have a big wedding. I know I would want to marry before I turned you. That way your dad can be there.”

"I know you keep saying that, and I know I am probably upsetting you, but I might need to hear it again and again, I belive you I really do, I just might need to be reminded" She said with a worried smile.

She bit her lip about the wedding, "I dont need anything big, but it is your familes wedding too right, I mean who was the last one to get married in your family, and how long ago was it?"

She was trying to please everyone. She was also worried about how the wedding would work, but she just wanted to spend all eternity with Drake.

Drake looks at her and says, “It’s been six hundred years since one of us in my family has had a wedding but it is our wedding it only matters what you and I want to do for it.” He strokes her cheek and says, “Stop trying to please everyone else and worry about what you want. Brook sighed. She did have a fantasy wedding one that marvled William and Kates wedding. She then blushed and looked up at him "I guess you saw that" She licked her lips "I want a moonlight one" She looked up at him. "Maybe a outside one is your yard big enough?" She shook her head. "I guess its stupid for me to want to be married, I mean we are going to spend eternity together, is it studpid to waste money on that sort of thing?"

She didnt know much much Money Drake had but she still hated the idea of spending money on her on a wedding. Then the memory of him having a castle in Scotland went through her mind, the highlands. She wrinked her brow. "Drake do oyu have a caste in Scotland by any chance?"

Drake looks at her and says, “Hun it is not a stupid thing to want to be married to the one you love…” He smiles as the mention of Scotland and says, “I was born in Scotland and yes I have a castle in the country side. Why do you ask?” He looks at her and says, “And money is not an issue my love.”

Blushing Brook smiled "I always dreamed about going to Scotland, I love the bagpiples, and it just looks so beautiful and many of my favorite books take place there, sure its the 1500s in most of them, but I am sure its still beautiful."

She sat up in bed wincing a little. "Can we go visit it?" She sighed. "I know it might be asking a lot" She sighed. "I just know that for a while after.." She paused but didnt say what she knew he would get "should be away from people"

Drake looks at her and nods. “We can go there for the honeymoon is you want. My castle is isolated from the towns. There are some stories about newly turned vampires never craving human blood. It is rare but it is possible you are one who will never crave human blood.” He kisses her gently on the lips. “But we won’t know until the time comes…”

Brook smiled big and clapped her hands. Wincing slightly as she bumped her IV. She looked to him "Thank you, that would be a prefect honeymoon." She sighed hearing that it would be insolated "Well thats good, but is there a surplus of animals, I mean I dont want to be the reason a species dies out"

She kissed him back holding onto him just a little. "What do you mean some are never tempted? I thought it just took over?" She asked softly.
