Nate looks at him tears still going down his face and says, "The nurse never came so she was alone taking that abuse. She must have called out for me and I never came. And now even after all of it, she sits in the hospital pertending that she is okay. I know my sister too well. She is dying inside."

Rain looks at her and says, "It is fine with me. I hate hospitals." She closes her eyes some and says, "My brother likes your brother a lot and they seem to connect very well."

Shaking his head Justin talked softtly "Nate if you were home you would be laying in the bed beside her" He softly whiped the tears away from his cheecks. "Rain wouldnt want that" He took Nate into his arms a bit nervously. They had just met but he thought that Nate needed someone.

Jessa blushed slighty "Yeah its the fist time that Justin has found someone that didnt beat the crap out of him when they found out what he was" Jessa looked over to Rain. "I know what you mean though, hosptials are creepy"

Nate looks at him with tears as he puts his head on his shoulder crying. He says, "I just feel bad for what happened." After a few more minutes of crying he wiped his eyes and calmed down. Ye says, "I am sorry for breaking down on you." Rain says, "I hate what has happened tonight." Her fists clenched.

Still holding on to Nate Justin softly rubbed the males back. "I understand Nate, but placing the blame on yourself is no good for you or for Rain" He sighed and then shook his head. "Never be sorry for tears, it seems that we were ment to met up today" He held him close letting Nate decide when to pull away.

Jessa looked at Rain. "I can understand that" She chewed her bottom lip. She had a feeling that the police would be here soon, and only hoped that Rain wouldnt get too upset, at least not till Nate and Justin got back.

Nate looks at Justin as he pulls away and says, “Come I want to get my food and hurry back to the hospital. The cops did say they were going to be back to take her statement and that will probably make Rain freak if she goes through that alone.” Meanwhile Rain looks at Jessa and reaches for her hand slightly. She says, “I know the police will be here soon, but please stay with me. I can’t go through this alone.”

Nodding softly Justin got out and walked into the restrant and ordered something for himself and his sister then turned to Nate. "Do you think your sister would be up to eating anything?"

Jessa stiffened when Rain mentioned the police but did her best to keep it hidden,. "Are you kidding me I am sitting next to like the best author ever, I would have to be escorted out of here for me to leave you" She said hopeing to break the tension a little.

Nate looks at the ordering menu thinking aloud, “Even if she does not feel like eating right now, she does not mind eating them cold because they hold together better. So I will get her favorite so she won’t feel left out.” He orders six taco supremes with no tomatoes and six orders of cinnamon twists.

Rain looks at her with a smile and says, “You are a sweet heart Jessa.” She closes her eyes a moment and sighs. She asks, “Why does everything bad happen to those who are trying to create something good in this world?”

Justin smiled "My sister is the same, sometimes I nearly have to force her to eat." He ran his fingers through his hair and after Nate ordered Justin ordered some for him and a few for his sister. "Hopefully the peer pressure will get our sisters to eat"

Jessa blushed when Rain called her a sweetheart. "I just know what is like to be alone in these places" She shuddered and then sighed "I dont know Rain but please dont stop creating good...no great Novels, that would be such a shame"

Nate nods and says, "I hope so too." Once they get their order, Nate heads to the car wanting to get back to the girls before the cops come. Meanwhile Rain thinks about things a moment. She says, "I don't think I could ever stop writing. So you dont have worry about that happening as long as I can still use my fingers to write or type."

Justin was quick to get into the car too he knew that his sister would not react well to the police showing up. She could go into freak out mode and put herself back in the phsy ward if she wasnt careful.

He sighed and smiled to Nate. "Are you ready?" He pulled out and started drving back to the hospial.

Meanwhile Jessa was overjoyed to hear that Rain wouldnt stop writing. "That is good, I do hope you can use your fingers"

Rain laughs softly and says, “My knuckles are bruised but I can move of them. So we are good.” She could hear men coming towards her room. In the doorway a detective knocks on the door frame. She says calmly, “Ms. Night-Blade my name is detective Ella Blare I would like to ask you questions about the attack if you are up to it.”

Jessa nodded her favorite auther, her hero, the person that without even knowing it had saved her life was going to continue to write. She began to relax but she then heard the distict walk.

She knew before they appeared at the door that there would be a dective at the door. Her whole body tensed and she clenched her jaw and stared toward the door. When the dective arived and introduced herself Jessa should have relaxed for it was a female but she didnt she just wanted her brother.

Meanwhile Justin had pulled in and had started up to the room, .

Rain says strongly and relaxed even though she was scared out of her mind, "Your questions can wait until our brothers get here." The detective smiles and says, "Alright I understand." She goes off to talk to the doctors about the damage her attackers inflicted onto her. Rain's heart begins to pound as she could hear their brothers' footsteps coming to the door.

Jessa stared at Rain surprised that she could speak she was too scared when the dective left and she heard her brother coming she smiled softly. "The boys are here" When Justin walked in Jessa ran to him.

Justin seeing his sister upset wrapped his arms around her "Its alright Jessa I am here now"

Jessa looked up at hiim. "Sorry" She said softly. Justin shook his head "Dont worry sis"

Nate goes to Rain’s side quickly and says, “I got you six tacos. You don’t have to eat them all but I want you to try to eat.” He did notice that the cops were here and he also knew his sister was in no shape to talk to them. Rain opens up a taco and slowly begins to pick at it and eat it very slowly.

Justin knew that by the way his sister was shaking in his arms that the police had been there. He held her then handed the food. "Here you have to eat." He then handed her the pills that she would have to take as well.

She then nodded and say down and started to eat, feeling a bit awkard now that Nate was back here but she was hungry and knew that she had to take her meds or it would not end up well.

Nate ignores the police waiting outside the door. He understood they were doing their job but still he was pissed. The police were scaring both the girls to death. Rain says, "Please don't make me talk about what happened. Neither of us can handle it. I know you, you will listen to every detail and then get mad enough to kill anyone who has ever hurt me. I can not take that risk losing you."

Taking her pills then sitting down she started to eat. Justin stood protectivly at her side eying her and Nate at the same time, He glared at the door. He knew his sister wouldnt react well to seeing a police, the last time they had seen police they had informed them that their baby sister had died in foster care. It was before him and Jessa were placed in the home that they were now.

She feared the police thinking thatt they were going to show up and rip them from their home.

Nate says calmly, "I will send the police away. Don't worry girls." Rain stops eating as she watches Nate march out there and tell the cops to go away. The cops did not look to happy but they left like he asked. He comes back in and sits down. Rain sighs and closes her eyes.

Jessa nodded her thanks and continued to eat. her breathing had returned to a little more normal and she was able to relax a little Justin sat down too and when he came back Jessa nodded "Thank you"

Justin hugged his sister. "Yes thank you Nate" He began to eat too as he looked over at Rain and stood "We can go if you guys want some privicay, I can return tommrow with your car.

((Forgot whose care they were driving if it was Nates car pretend I said that someone was coming with ihis car))

Nate says, “That is up to you guys. Rain does not seem to mind you or your sister so I don’t mind you being here with us.” Rain says, “I don’t like the detective that was here. She was acting too nice like she had something to hide.” Nate says, “You might have something there sis. She was too easy to get to leave. Her male partner was more worried about the attackers getting away with than she was.” Rain says, “Yeah that is just not right for a cop to act that way…” Nate looks at her and asks, “Will you be up to talking to the partner tomorrow?” She nods and says, “Yeah…”

Feeling a little mroe relaxed to hear that she wasnt introding Jessa decided to stay, at least for now she finished her food and took sips of her pop and took the last of her pills then listened to the conversation.

"What do you mean its just not right?" She whispered then shook her head "No ignore me please" She then licked her lips and smiled too Rain. "You are mightly brave Rain" She nodded.

Nate looks at Jessa and says, "Rain and I is really good at reading people. I have learned to read cops. Its how's we avoided going back to the orphanage. Rain reads people just to get ideas for characters." Rain says, "And I am not that brave. I don't let other people control me." She was uneasy but she was not going to lose herself.

Curssing herself that Nate heard her she listened to him explain she nodded. It was a survivale technique she and her brother had it too, but it seemed that both of them kept it to themselves this time.

She turned to Rain. "I can understand that, being in controle is very important to me, I dont like surprises." She turned to Justin who stood behind her and touched her softly on the shoulder. Jessa took his hand and squeezed it softly. It was clear that they were close.

Rain says calmly, "You are strong too. You stayed with me when the cops came. You could have walked away but you did not. You stayed with a screwed up girl who makes no sense." Nate says, "You are not screwed up. You are just see the world differently than others. I preread your novels. They are great and an escape from the harsh world. You give your readers hope and the strength to dream."
