Justin blushed and then tried to look innocent. "I do not know what you are talking about" He then sighed and slowly followed him to Rain's room but he stayed out the door his sister who had showed up to check on him, and see her own doctor suddenly appeared at his side just in time to hear Rain talk about the house.

"Justin maybe they can stay with us, lots of room" His mom appearing behind them smiled "Sounds good, lets give them some time then just ask him"

Justin sighed, he wondered how they would take it though, going from being alone to a house full of people and pets .

Rain looks at them a moment as she could sense they were planning something. Nate says to her, "Calm down sweet heart they won't hurt you." She sighs and says, "Okay brother but I do not know these people enough to ask for help." He smiles and says, "Rest sister and we will do what need to, to keep moving."

Sensing that they were upsetiing Rain he bowed slightly to Rain then simed "I am sorry, Rain please feel better, Nate" He paused "Ummm I will be in the waiting room, if you...well uhhh" He paused, "Yeah I will just be in the waiting room" He ushered his family off.

Jessa stood by the door a bit longer staring at her hero auther. "I love your work" She whispered then ran after Justin.

Rain looks at Jessa as she ran off and says, "Well I just made myself look like an ass." Nate looks at her and says with a sigh, "This is normal for women who have been through what you have tonight. Maybe when you are healed and allowed to go home, you will feel more comfortable with their idea." She looks down at her slashed up chest. She says, "Now I am going to be an even more scarred up freak. No one will see me as a woman who can date." Nate says, "You will find someone who will love you despite your scars. Now get some rest. I am going to see what they are wanting from us." He gets up and leaves the room so she will rest. He joins Justin and the rest of his family. He says calmly, "Please don't take this the wrong way, but why are you helping us? No one has ever wanted to us before. Even though we come from a rich pair of parents, we have always had to work hard to get what we have have."

Justin was nervous in the waiting room and was pacing, why did he even think it would be a good idea for him to invite Rain and Nate to live with them it was going to hend the friendship, and maybe even the budding realtionship thatthey had going. He sighed and chewed his bottom lip as he saw Nate coming his way.

He looked at his hands when Nate asked the question. His mom stepped forward. "Justin here just knows that you are alone there, with your sister, he also knows from experiance that your sister is not going to be able to reenter that house without fear."

Justin looked up at him with tears in his eyes. "I didnt want to upset you, I just wanted to offer my help"

Nate looks at him with a sigh as he sees the tears and says, "I am not upset Justin so please don't cry. I am just very confused. My sister and I only know how to depend on each other. My sister won't be able to leave here for a few weeks and she won't have anything to help her cope with what has happened. All three of her computers are gone. So writing is out of the question. And now she sees herself as a woman who will never be loved because of her newest scars. I don't want to see my little sister hurt herself."

Blushing at the fact of the tears Justin nodded and tried to brush them away. He listened to him and nodded and slowly walked to him and touched his arm. "I understand, Jessa and I only had each other, but we all need someone else to lean on"

He nodded again. "Well what ever you decide I will support you" His father stepped forward when the computers were mentioned. "Nate, I know you just met us, but my brother works for a computer company I can get your sister a computer if you think it will help"

Nate says softly, “A computer would allow her to write out her emotions so she won’t hold stuff in all the time. Who knows she might even write a great novel because of this night.” A nurse appears and says, “You know we can find a bed for each of you if you all plan on staying the night.” Nate nods and she goes to set up the beds. He looks at Jessa and says, “Rain did not mean to be cold earlier. She would like it if you visited her room again.”

Justin's father smiled and broke out his phone a few minutes later he came back. "Okay one will be delivered tommrow morning to the hospitl with everything that Rain will need" He then hugged Justin. "We will be back in the morning" Justin smiled. "Alright thank you"

He then turned to Nate. "So do you want me to stay Hun?"

Meanwhile Jessa beemed at the chance to see her hero again she walked to Rain room and knocked gently. "You wanted to see me again, I knew you were not cold lately, you are recovering is all"

Nate looks at Justin a moment and says, “I would like it if you stayed with me but you don’t have to if you don’t want to.” He then makes his way to the room again. Rain says to Jessa, “I heard you really like my novels. My newest one showed be edited and published in a few months but I can request a copy to be edited and published early for you if you would like.”

Justin shook his head "Think nothing of it, I am happy to stay around" He silently followed him back to the room just in time to hear Jessa squeel.

"Thank you Thank you" She said with a grin then she ran out of the room. "Justin guess what?" Justin had to smile

"What Jess?"
"Rain said she could get me a early published version of her new book" She smiled and raced after her family who were just leaving, promissingthey would return in the morning.

Justin stood by the door.

"Thank you Rain, that is the first time she has been exctied in a long time, she loves your books, makes her feel less alone I think, both of us...have a not so good pass, as you might be able to tell we are both adopted. We were lucky to be placed together, but..." He trailed off "Sorry I should let you sleep" Justin turned to Nate "I will be in the waiting room if you need me"

He turned to leave but left time in case they called him back.

Rain could not help but smile at the joy she clearly gave Jessa. She says before she ran out, “You’re welcome hun.” When Justin and Nate made it to the room she says, “I am glad to do it. It is not every day I meet another girl who could relate to me.” Nate stops Justin from getting too far and says, “You might as well get to know my sister. After all we need to talk about your family’s offer.”

Jessa was almost skipping down the hallway. She was going to have the very first copy of a novel from her favorite author the only thing that could make it better would be if it was signed but she wouldnt dare of asking she was over the moon though.

When Justin was called back he stoped and turned around. "Alright Nate I can stay" He rubbed the back of his neck and blushed "Well you two would have to agree first" He shrugged and looked a little sheeplish.

Rain looks at the two boys a moment and says, “I will do it as long as people don’t expect me to have a normal sleeping pattern and don’t bug me during my writing sprees.” Nate says, “I doubt they will have a problem with your sleeping pattern. After all that has happened, I doubt you will be able to sleep without the help of strong meds.”

Justin smiled "There is a Den above the garage, you will be left alone, and my sister doenst sleep much so no one will mind your sleeping pattern" He sighed "I just wanted to help, and I am glad that you will take myself and my family, up on it" He smiled to Nate. "I hope that means you are coming too" He said with a little bit of a blush.

Nate says, "I go whever my sister goes so yeah." He smiles some and looks at his sister. Rain says, "I will be fine with writing in a den. So that will work for me." Nate says, "Tomorrow morning you have a computer to use while you are here. I know you and I can tell when you need an outlet." She sighs and says, "Okay worry wart."

Justin couldnt help but smile when Nate said he was coming. It would be good to have someone that really undestood him and someone for Jessa too. He chuckled "Its our jobs as brothers to protect our sisters, just wait you are going to have 3 brothers now. Nate and my two brothers. Josh and James" He sighed. "I hope that doesnt scare you, but my brothers are home for the summer and they are very protective"

He looked to Nate he wasnt sure if he should let Rain know that it was his brothers that found her.

Rain looks at Justin a moment at the mention of having more brothers. She says with a smile, "Oh great just what a girl needs more brothers." Nate watches Rain closely as she was noticing that she was having issues keeping her eyes open. Her meds were kicking in big time. Soon she falls into a deep dreamless sleep. Nate says, "We shouldn't mention that your brother was the one who found her. That will make her very edgy with them."

Justin had to smile at her comment. Yes more brothers could be a handfull but they were the good kind. He watched her fall asleep then nodded to Nate "Alright, I will let them know, they wouldnt tell her anyways, they are good at what they do" He held out his hand. "Do you want to go get a cofee or soemthing?"

Nate looks at him nods slowly. He says slowly, "I could use something to eat that is not hospital food." He kisses Rain on the forehead before leaving the room with Justin. He goes out to the car and waits for him to get in.

Justin texted his mom that they were going out for something to eat. Jessa was still hanging around the hospital she saw Justin and Nate and then slipped back into the room she wanted someone to be with Rain in case she woke up.

Justin walked to the car and slipped in and turned to Nate. "What do you feel like?"

Nate looks at him and says, "Tacos sound good to me right now. They are my favorite food to eat when I am stressed out. Rain likes rice when she is stressed." Rain wakes up slightly as a nurse came in to replace her med bags. The nurse says softly to her, "Even though the meds are helping you, you fight them."

Justin smiled and drove to the local taco shop "Tacos are good" He said softly as they drove. He had been in Nate's place many times, he had seen his sister beaten half to death, held her conviced that death was coming to them, he chewed his bottom lip. "I noticed Jessa sneaking back into Rain's room I hope you dont mind, she wont make trouble, I doubt she will even speak she will just be there."

When the nurse came in Jessa eyed her she didnt say anything. She remained silent in the dark just watching.

Nate says, "My sister won't mind Jessa being there." A tear escapes his eye as he thinks about his sister. Before he could gain control, tears came down his face like a river. He says, "Who could do that to my baby sister." Rain pushed herself up on her side after the nurse left. She looks at Jessa unsure what to say.

Pulling in Justin parked and turned to the side and looked at Nate unsure of what to do, should he take him into his arms or just a arm. He started with just an arm around Nate's shoulder and gently squeezed.
"I do not know, but she will be safe and the people will be found and brought to justice" He gently rested his chin on the other mans shoulder and sighed. " Your a great brother"

Jessa smiled at Rain. "I have been in hospitals and I dont know about for oyu, but I found it scary waking up alone so I thouught I would just sit here" She paused and looked at her hands. "As long as you are okay with that"
