Nodding slightly in relife Cody smiled. "Well thats good, you were realy good, was I still enough?" He listened to her words then sighed, "I hope they go down fast so I can be more of a help around here."

He leaned into the hug and chuckled and petted Cass, "are you getting jelous there Cass?" He ruffled her fur and looked around trying to see, everything was a bit blurey still he just hoped it wouldnt take too much more time.

"You need to stop worrying about such things it's fine I don't mind doing things" she said and giggled looking over at Cass and stuck her tounge out playfully and she barked at Ren being playful as well and she smiled and giggled a little and scratched Cass behind her ear. "It shouldn't take more than a few days for them to go down nad you'll be able to see better as well, I hsould recover by then anyway" she said not even knowing if that fact was true...

After a few days Ren was a little better but Cass still followed her around Ren was packing away a few things so they could move to a different place to stay since they had stayed in one place for a few dats she was getting more nervous the longer they stayed there.
She picked up the heat rod and stuffed it in her pouched and sorted out her guns and daggers quickly putting them back around her waist neatly and leaned in the doorway waiting for Cody.

Chuckling. "Its not a worry I just you to be able to take it easy for once" He brought a hand to her face and shook his head. "Is there a way, without you going out of the building" He said in a stern voice "That you can get acool cloth for your head, it might help some right?"

The next days when by farily fast, he was sleeping better without that thing in his neck but he was still worried but kept it to himself.

He stood holding Cass he had packed the few things of his, not that he had much and looked up at Ren "Are you ready?"

She looked to him and nodded "Ready when you are" she said... "We might be able to find some blankets as well since winter will be comming soon on top of that, it usually snows as well so we might need to find a secure and hidden base for the winter as well" she said pushing herself off the doorway and walked out leading the way she wondered around a bit always checking that Cody and cass were behind her and weren't too far behind.

She soon found an old store and walked inside and searched around for something that would keep them warm during the winter months.She searched through different materials but not ones that were heavy since they needed to carry them with them if they had to move.

"Know anywhere which still has a roof if not I knew one place" she said thinking about which direction they could go from there.

Cody nodded. "Alright" He bite his lip about the blankets. "Yes you are right we should get some, winter will come fast" He shook his head "Snow...makes everything look so peace ful"

As they made it to the store Cody looked a bit nervous around but kept watched in case anyone or thing came by.

Shaking his head "no I dont know of anymore places"

As they made it to the store Cody looked a bit nervous around but kept watched in case anyone or thing came by.

Shaking his head "no I dont know of anymore places"

"yeah your right about that, it does make the world look peaceful, like an enchanting white veil" she said softly and looked to Cody "Don't be so nervous, we'll be fine, Cody" she said and thought about where to head since Cody didn't know anywhere else. "here, this one is yours" she siad handing him a blanket as she carried her own and started to lead the way. they reached an old house still in tact and one which they had used before it had a roof and could handle the weight of the snow.... she hoped.

"This place will have to do for now" she muttered softly.

Although they were in danger, and might be the only humans left, Cody still loved the snow, for a brief moment it made him forget everything that was going on. He wanted to stay and enjoy it but they couldnt. Cody smiled at her coment. "I am sorry, I guess I was a normally nervous person before" He shrugged and spoke again "And those men chasing us doesnt make it any better but maybe now that the thing is out of my neck maybe we will be luckier now."

He took the blanket with a thank you and walked with her to ther new place. He looked around "This is prefect" He said then lightly touched her cheek. "How are you feeling?"

"Oh come on, don't blame yours self for everything unlucky that happened to us, that is just what fate decided for us"she said to him as she set up a small came in on of the rooms feeling rather cold at the momment she turned a little as he touched her cheek "I'm fine, recovering slowly but I'm fine" she said to himsmiling a little and stayed beside th heat rod trying to keep as warm as possible. Cass looked to them nad barked a little wanting to play bit Ren just stayed under her blanket feeling rather cold all of sudden.

"I am not blaming myslef, I was just blaming the device. Cody said softly. He watched her lay down and shook his head. He sat down and scopped her up. "I may not know much but I have head that if you are cold, best thing is to share body heat"

He checked her fever with the back of his hand again and sighed. "I wish there was a adult around that wasnt trying to make us into expirments" Next thing he knew he was kissing her soflty on the forhead.

“We have blankets you know” she said blushing as he scooped her up and leaned into him a little before she listened to his comment. “Well I don’t think there is, and I don’t want to wonder because we don’t know what’s out there” she said and curled into him a little “But, you never know there might be one adult out there but they’ll be hard to find” she said and closed one eye as he kissed her forehead a little confused but it made her feel happy and smiled a little.
“your warm” she muttered a little sleepy and staying close to him she was still glad that his bruises had gone down but just stayed quiet for a bit after that.

"I know we have blankets, but I like to hold you" He blushed slightly and sighed "I dont know why but it just feels right" He said in a whisper. He rested his forhead on her forhead and sighed. "I know its kinda scary" He admited. He still wanted sometimes to have someone close an adult to help them to explain why every time he looked at Ren his heart beat quicker and his palms went wet and felt clamy.

He smiled as she snuggled closer into him and then shook his head. "I think its you are cold" He continue to hold her and sighed. "I am seeing a bit better" He looked down at her. "Soon we will both be better"

She blushed a little and moved her head as she curled up so that it rested just below his "Yeah, it feels nice" she whispered and when he rested his forehead on hers she looked to him amnd nodded agreeing "I guess, There are things we need to be told sometimes" she said and moved her head back down so that it rested under his again as she snuggled closer. "Maybe but your still nice and warm" she said her voice trailing a little after that. She soon fell asleep feeling so comfortable there and he was right it did just feel right. She moved a little in her sleep breathing almost silently on him as she did but her cheeks were a little red still.

Chase watched her fall asleep and sighed. Her final words resting with him. She had said that he was nice and warm but he also liked the feeling of her in his arms and he wasnt completly sure why. Purhapes there was some books somewhere that could help explain what they were feeling and thinking right now.

He looked down and felt her cheeks again but then sighed there wasnt much he could do so he laid down and pulled her close wrapping his arm around her and cass curled up in the little space that was left inbetween them and fell asleep.

Chase made sure he was in a very light sleep keeping himself aware of every sound around them so he could awaken and save them if neeeded.

Ren curled up into Cody a little more as she slept waking up a little later she smiled and looked to him feeling a little better he looked a little confused about something and nudged him a little to wake him up."Hey you look a little confused, maybe we should go find some answers at the library" she asked him "the computers are still working so they might explain whatever your confused about.. I need to look up something anyway and yes I am fine to travel" she said and sat up looking at him and waiting before they headed to the library it still had the rubble from before but the computers would be able to fill in any gaps. She fixed up a computer and jsut left him ot it with a few science books on the side about movements and actions of the human body.

She found herself some books and sat in a chair reading up on something.

Although he was a light sleeper Ren still somehow managed to wake before him. He sat up and smiled blushing a little. "Just confused about something my stomach does" He stood and walked up with her and to the libary.

He could still type and since the font was really big he could see a little bit. He typed up his symptons and either he was having mini heartattcks or panic attacks or he was in love, he quickly clicked off of it and although he was a deep red tired to hid his embarrasments and smiled. "What are you reading Ren?"

((Sorry its been so long and sucks I was going to type in his symptons then decided against that lol))

"Oh ok" she said before they got to the library and turned to him as he asked her what she was doing and smiled a little seeing him a deep red." Nothing much just some sceince books. What about you did you clear up that confusion fo yours?" she asked him "and why are you bright red as well, what did you find out about?" she said a little confused and showed him the book she was reading she ahd got her answer but was more careful in hiding it.

Chase shrugged. "Well if I am to belive computers" He said with a bit of a laugh trying to put it off as nothing big. He smiled and stood and walked slowly to her giving her lots of time to hide what she was reading.

"So what are you reading about, you looked just as confused as I felt" He raised an eyebrow and sighed. "I am glad this libary is still standing, its like the last proof of our civilations, well that we know of"

He looked down at her again and smiled. "Are you okay Ren?"

She had already hidden what she was reading before he got the stuffing the books under her chair before he got there. "yeah, they can tell you the things that the adults would've huh?" she said to him "and most likely.. just had a lot on my mind recently that's all" she said smiling at him a little and nodded "I'm fine, a little warm but I'm fine" she said to him blushing bright red and couldn't look him in the eye.

Since Ren had hid whatever she was looking at Chase was clueless. He shrugged. "Well its nice to be able to learn something you know" He sighed and sat down beside her and again put an arm around her. "Just let me know if you are getting sicker again, maybe we can look up fevers and see if there is anything about them, and what we can do to treat them"

He noticed her blush and smiled. "You look really preety when you do that"

She blushed even more as he put an arm around her and nodded "Ok, I'll tell you but I'm fine honestly, it'll go away in time" she said "and the fevers aren't too bad" she said to him looking at him at what he next said. "T-thanks" she said to him embarassed again and felt her heart beating faster and shook her head a little and smiled slightly leaning back and putting her hands on his arm a little.
She kept trying to shake of the light blush and then just looked back up at him with her mismatched eyes "So what answer did you get?"

Feeling a little more relaxed with she said that she would let him know if she was sicker he breathed a sigh of relife "I am sorry Ren, I know I am asking you a lot I just cant stand to lose you, I was alone for so long, I dont think I could handle it again" He chewed his bottom lip a bit nervous.

He looked down at her arm on his and smiled and touched her hand and then sat down. "Well I am not sick, thats for sure" He said, he wasnt about to admit that he had read that the most likely thing wrong with him is that he was in love in case she didnt feel the same way. Then it would be very akward.

(Sorry about that, I didn't really know what to out for it... I was having a panic day since I had exams the day after...I can edit it if you want?)

Ren looked up to him leaning back in her chair. "yeah, I don't wnat to lose you either, it's too quiet when your not there and I'm too used to you being around with your worrying ways" she said giggling a little and reached a hand up to touch his cheek softly seeing him chew his bottom lip "What are you so nervous about?" she asked

"Well that's one good thing, at least your not ill" she said and looked him in the eye "Something you want to say" she said still trying to shake her blush off stop beating so fast she thought not looking at him directly at this point now. She shuffled a little where she sat though.

Chase laughed "Are you calling me a loud mouth?" He shook his head. "Well I am that I have some use" He teased then blushed "Hey I am a worrier and I think you are used to it now" He said softly.

When she asked him again if there was something he wanted to say he shook his head, he didnt want to ruin a great friendship over something stpud like this., He sat down and smiled. "Should we take some books for entertainment, maybe a basic medical one , or we could maybe stay here, its warmish and standing, but I dont want them to ruin it if they find us...."

He suddenyl stopped "Sorry I was rambling" He nodded to let her know that he was finished.

"I never said that didn't I?" she said laughed a little and looked to him smiling and giggled seeing him blush. "Not that it's a bad thing it's rather sweet, you remind me so much of a freind I used to have years back, he would always worry so much about everything I did." she said

She looked to him as he sat down seeing him smiling made her happy and nodded "It might be a good idea and your right it's nice adn warm, the bookshelves have fallen over at an angel so it's a bit like a shelter within a shelter so we can hide there if we need to and they never coem here with all their books in there.

"And it's fine, ramble all you like, silence isn't somethign I'm very fond of" she said still smiling and Cass jumped up onto her lap and rusteled her hair scratching her behind her ears.

Chase was enjoying being able to joke a little. Made him forget the hell that they were both in. For a few moments they could just be kids. He blushed as he said it was sweet. "Well thats what I aim for to be sweet"

Chewing his bottom lip he smiled "I just love the libary, you know its like proof that at one time there were more humans around you know?" He petted Cass softly and looked up at Ren.

"Well you are free to talk too you know" He smiled and then closed his eyes and openend his eyes. "I can see a little better now, how is it looking?"
