Cody continued to hold her. "Just rest Ren" He licked his lips softly. and stroked her cheek and forhead. "We will just keep it easy I think you have just been working too hard" He said a bit sternly.

He chucked as Cass came over. "See even Cass thinks so" He started hummin ga lullyby then rocked her gently.

She sighed and nodded not having the energy to argue with him and Cass licked her fingers a little as well making her turn her a little in order to look. She gave a light smile at the dog licking her fingers.
She soon started to listen to the soft lullaby that Cody was humming her eyes eventually closing as she fell asleep against him still able to subconsciously feel his warmth.
Cass looekd to Cody as fi to say that he should sleep as well, knowing that in the morning reguardless of her condition Ren would want to be up and about.

Smiling as he noticed that she was falling asleep, he continued humming the soft lulluby he was glad that he could do this one thing for her. He didnt feel completly usless, she could say that he wasnt but he did feel like it. But not when he was humming this and holding her.

He yawned a huge yawn as she finally fell asleep. He laughed at Cass. "Alright I will go to sleep too, you gaurd and try to rest too"

He fell into a light sleep with her in his arms.

The dog nodded and licked his hands softly as ren breathed gently as she slept against Cody happily, her mind racing through endless dreams as she slept. She woke up a little alte in the night feeling warm breath against her she moved a little and saw Cody, blushing a little she was soon nesteled back how she was before. Enjoying him just being then and linked her fingers gently with his. Noticing Cass was on guard until the morning came by which point she had fallen asleep again.

Cody slept soundly but still light he felt Ren wake and would have said something if she would have started to wake up but it seemed that she just wanted to nestle in closer to her so he was alright with that he half smiled in his half asleep and wrapped his arms around her again.

He felt right holding her, he wasnt sure why but he really liked this. He tightened his fingers but still was wanting to sleep and just relax. They both needed it.

Waking up late in the morning she stirred and looked around still reluctant to move from Cody’s after as he slept and simply leaned back on him as she waited for him to awaken feeling safe in his arms for some reason. She leaned up and pecked him on the lips quickly not entirely sure why she did but just felt like it. She felt a little better although the temperature of her body had not gone down at all, she looked a little better.
"Cody come on, Wake up"she whispered softly.

Having woken every time Ren moved or made a noise Cody had a horrible night sleep and only really feel asleep about an hour before Ren woke up and kissed him. He smiled and whimpered in his sleep but when she spoke he woke with a start and stay up quickly.

He looked her over "You look a lot better Ren, he touched her forhead then her cheeks "Your temp still feels high, how do you feel though"

"I feel a lot better, must've just been exhustion and my fever should go down in time" she said nodding a little "maybeI should be a little more careful" she muttered not happy about it but it seemed to be neseccary. She sighed and looked to Cody noticing bags underhis eyes "maybe you should get a little more sleep, you look exhusted" she said kissing him lightly under his chin as she did.

Cody eyed her not fully beliving her. He chewed hew lower lip but didnt say anything. "Well today you will let me do more and you wil lrest" He saighed as he lightly kissed under his chin . "No I am fine, its you that keeps getting sick so today you will rest and only direct me what do to"

He stood "starting with breakfast" he looked around "where is our food and what do you and Cass want?"

She frowned a little but sighed knowing she really should be resting, she usually just worked through the fever if she could " Fine" she said "I'm not fussy so you pick something and Cass will have whatever also the food is in the usual place" she said to him, thinking ti must be because of those strange shots she was given a while back. Nodding alittle when it was ready she began eating desperatly wanting to do something sicne she wasn't used to resting for a whole day at all.

Cody stood and nodded. "Alright I will get the food now you rest we need you to be all better before we do anything" He made some quick food then gave it to her and Cass "Now eat" He said sternly while eating a small amount himself.

He watched her then handed her a flask of water. "Here drink up"

She looked to him as he spoke sternly and ate up "yes sir" she said when he handed her the water and sipped a little before she stood up and brushed herself off in order to go outside for some fresh air. Cass looked to her adn barked a little in warning hopeing she would be ok.

Ren tried not to do anything much but found ti very difficult and hated nto ebing able to do anythign although she did know Cody was right, she needed to rest.

Taking the flask and drinking a couple sips Cody then followed her outside. "You want to stay here tonight, or walk to the new place, you will not be doing any more work today though, apart from walking there."

He smiled "I didnt mean to be so harsh back there, but you are stubbrone and I didnt want you to argure with me"

She nodded "might be best we stayed her and the tree house isn't finsihed yet we do at least want walls on it" she said and began heading there tempted to o some work on the tree house but knew Cody would stop her in a heart beat if she did so isntead helped to check they were secure but did not do very much. Mostly because she knew how much Cody would worry if she fainted.

Nodding Cody smiled "Well if you dont think you can relax there we can stay here" He sat down beside her and touched her slightly. "I just want you well, all we have is each other" Cass barked and Cody laughed "Alright each other and Cass"

He touched her face "How are you doing with some food and water in you?"

She smiled a little "I feel better" she said nodding a little at him and pecked his cheek "I'm almost glad you were so stern" and giggled a little at Cass when she barked seemingly correcting what Cody said making her laugh a little. Hse stayed beside him quite contently linking her fingers with his happily.

'Good" He said softly he liked touching her gently so he continued to do so. He blushed as he felt her peck his cheek though. "Well I know that being stern is the only way to get you to listen, seem we are the same way in that. we are stubbrone and wont listen to reason"

He squeezed her hand back comforting. "We can stay here until you are complitly better"

“Yeah that is right” she said and laid back still holding his hand and playing with his fingers as she settled down beside him nodding “might be better, don’t have the risk of me falling out a tree” she said, “we really should completely finish it before we move in” she said to him looking up as she spoke waiting for what he had to say blushing a little as she felt him touching her gently but smiled moving a little into his hand happily.

Cody laid back down with her and pulled her into his arms. "That makes the most sense, we can finish it up then move in" He sighed, "I hope it will be safier" He smiled "Then one day, maybe when this is all figured out we can find other people, like us" He stopped short "I know you dont want to talk about it so I wont say anything but there will be more people and we can get safe"

He kissed her cheek and continued to hold her.

"Should be, off the ground and hidden by the trees" she said snuggling into him quite happily as she was pulled into his arms blushing a little as he kissed her cheek and looked to him as he kept holding her nodding "it would be nice, but if we can't find any then..." she paused "Then what'll we do but also we should try that safe house you mentioned earlier, after we have built the shelter, moved in their and when i'm better as well, people would've gone there if anywhere" she said to him.

Continung to hold Ren Cody smiled he liked her snuggling and kisses. He listened and sighed "I dont know, I mean what if it is not real" he spoke softly. "I dont know if we should risk it" He frowned and sighed. "I just dont want to put you in danger" He kissed the top of her head and nodded. "Lets finish the tree house first then we can see"

"Hmm, ok fine" she said she really was enjoying the closeness and wamrth from Cody contently and nodded "still if there are others there" she said looking up to him as he kissed the top of her head and nuzzeled at his neck a little smiling just wanting to fall asleep snuggled so close to him, her midn drifting off whispering she lvoed him as she did fall asleep having a nap snuggled up to him.

He wasnt sure why but he felt very protective of Ren, He didnt want to put her in danger, more then he already felt like he had. He cuddled her closer watching her sleep. He grinned knowing that she must be sick for sleeping arleady again.

Her words didnt get passed him he blinked then bendingdown kissing her gently as he kissed her ear softly "I love you too sweet Ren"

She slept soundly afte rhearing those words from him, she smiled a little in her sleep afterwards, one of ehr ands clitching onto his shirt a little unknown to her. It wasn't until the late afternoon that she woke up and nudged hin a little by accident and looked ot him "What timeis it?" she asked him rustling ehr hair a little as she sat up looking to him noticing his arms were still around her.

Humming softly holding as she slept Cody sighed and thought about how life had turned out. And why he couldnt remember much, just flashes almost like photographe. He didnt want to endanger her but he knew she would want to see if they could find the safe zone.

He let her sleep wanting her to get better. When she finally awoke he girnned "There how do you feel?" He shrugged "I dont know the time looks like late afternnon," He helped her sit up but kept his arms around her worried about her.
