He looked to her and then smiles as she walked over..."Long enough." He says with a chuckle as he then looked to her.."Yeah..I heard the blades clanking..." He says with a chuckle as he then cocked his head to the side..."Yes I understood it...Its been a while since I've seen it written though..Very supprised you knew." He says as he then stretched some more..."So what are the plans for the day?" He asks her somewhat curiously as he watched her unstring the long bow.

Shrugging slightly, she looked over at him before glancing down at the power-inhibiting bands on his wrists. "I spoke with the shamans," she said, gesturing toward his wrists, "They said that only the maker can alter the properties of the power inhibitors. So, essentially, it is my decision to remove them or not." She trailed off, looking back up at him, her face hard and emotionless. Stepping closer to him, she reached down and grabbed his wrists pulling them up and pressing the bands together. "Hold that," she said, reaching into the hidden pocket, removing the key and pressing it against both bands at the same time. With a bright flash of light, the bands dissolved into water, dripping to the ground from around his wrists. She allowed an almost invisible smile to slip onto her face, noticeable only by him.

He followed her eyes down to his wrists.."I see." He says as he then watched as she stepped closer to him and then grabbed his wrists pressing them together. He then nodded his head holding them together as he watched her pull out the key and press it to the bands at the same time. He blinked slightly to the bright light but then grinned as the bands dissolved into water. He then smiles back as he rubbed his wrists. "Feels good not to have thoes on." He says with a smile as he stepped back slightly away from her letting his power flow threw him for a bit before he stepped back over to her..."Thank you." He says with a smile.

Shrugging slightly, she gestured toward a rack of weaponry. "Do you want to spar," she asked, a corner of her mouth twitching up in amusement, "Or do you want something to eat?" She lifted her bow and rested it atop her boot as she looked upward at him, a hand dropping to rest upon her sword hilt.

He looked over to her and then grinned slightly..."Alright then..That sounds fun." He says as he cracked his neck slightly..."We can eat later though if you would like." He grinned watching her hand drop to her sword hilt.

Smiling viciously, she gestured toward the weapon rack, her eyes glittered in slight amusement. "You may want to grab a weapon," she said, her lips quirking slightly as she reached up and removed the quiver once again, leaning it against the tree with the unstrung bow, tightening her grip on her sword, knuckles cracking slightly.

He looked over to the weapon rack grinning as he walked over and then picked a staff and spinning it around in his hands expertly."Alright then...I'm ready when you are." He grinned as he looked over to her.

Whipping her sword from its sheath, she spun it twice quickly, relaxing her stance and pointing the sword-blade at the ground. Tilting her head to the side, she smirked slightly, her tattoos darkening swiftly. "I'm always ready," she said smoothly, "Blademasters always are." Flicking her wrist, she twisted the blade slightly, blade flashing in the early morning sunlight.

He looked over to her and then grinned slightly watching her..."Well then ladies first?" He says with a sly smile as he too the staff in his hands spinning behind his back and steading it towards her with a grin.

Tilting her head, she shifted her stance slightly as she watched him handle the blade easily. "Very well," she said, a hand darting down to draw a long dagger from her waist and hold it in a reverse grip as she darted toward him, her sword carving a silver line through the air as she closed with him.

Performing a flawless airborne cartwheel, she landed and before her momentum had been completely corrected, spun, sword slashing and her dagger following soon behind. She knew a staff was a tricky weapon to fight against, and was even more dangerous with a pair of blades on the end, a weapon she was proficient with.

Devin grinned bringing the staff up and spinning it parrying both attacks...Devin then jumped back with a eyeing her with a calm grin..."Your better at fighting when out in the open..." He says with a grin as he spun his staff around a few times. "But you really need to stop toying around...I wanna see what you really got." He says with a challenging grin as he took defence.

Spinning her sword again, she shrugged innocently, regaining her stance. "You caught me," she said with a slightly shocked voice, "Nice." Lunging at him, she attacked with both blades, feet moving swiftly along the dirt ground. The sword and dagger moved independently of each other, neither movement being related to the other, but still easily controlled by the young general.

He grinned as he looked to her..."Of course I did." He grinned as he then watched her lung at him. He parryed her first blade before diving off to the side and rolling to his feet..."Mind if I cheat alittle?" He grinned as he looked to her taking his staff in one hand and spinning it around expertly while his other hand stayed relaxed at his side.

Smirking, she danced out of range of his weapon before lowering her guard slightly. "If you think it will help," she said in acquiescense, "I see no reason you can't." Her blade never dipped below horizontal, knowing that it is harder to defend when the blade has to be lifted. Raising an eyebrow, she carefully observed him.

He grinned as he looked over to her..."Alright then." He says as electricity flashed around his relaxing arm. He then charged at her spinning the staff around his as he grew closer he lunged out at her while his other hand moved to the other dagger knowing she would have to parry with one of them. The electricity acted as a shield around his hand as he gripped the blade of the dagger.

Growling as his hand grabbed her dagger, she felt the sharp pain of the electricity climbing the blade, but her grip remained tight as she parried his staff away with her sword, her knee darting up to attempt a drive into his abdomen. At the same time, she drove her forehead toward his nose, intending to break it, knowing it was an easy heal, but she was frustrated that he had caught her flat footed.

He grunted slighty feeling her knee hit his stomach and then moved his forhead down wincing slightly as her forhead smashed against his. His foot then hooked around hers before he pushed agaisnt her making them both fall to the ground he then pushed the dagger he held back againt the ground while his staff held her other wrist to the ground..."Now I gotta headach..." He muttered with a chuckle as he looked down at her.

As they fell, she managed to get a knee between their bodies, the wind driving from her lungs as they crashed into the ground. Grunting, she forced her hips up and pushed against his body with her knee, intenting to launch him over her head so he was on the bottom. Which could be used to her advantage, if not, she could slip from beneath him and engage once more.

He smirked slightly as he looked down at her feeling her press up against him before he let her flip him over. He completly let go of his staff but his hands jolted out grabbing both of her wrists being sure to keep the blades away.."You never give up do you." He says with a grin

Smirking, she shook her head, shifting slightly to bear down on the knee planted below his diaphragm. "Never," she said, twisting her wrists to free a hand so she could end the spar, "I'd think you would realize that by now."

He grinned..."No I was just stating the obvious." He says with a chuckle as electricity jolted threw her wrists giving a numbing sensation..."Your gonna drop them soon.." He grinned as the electricity continued.

Grunting slightly in pain, she tightened her grip on her weapons, planting all of her armored weight onto the knee planted just below his ribcage. "No, I'm not," she said through clenched teeth, "You'll run out of air first." Jerking on her arms again, she focused on the muscles in her hand, which had gone numb, forcing them to stay tightly gripped around her sword and dagger.
