"Nick, I love you and I'm not leaving you here to suffer alone" she said to him holding his hand again tightly and sat there beside his bed "Plus you've seen me at my worst a few times plus seeing you like this won't change my opinion on you at all" She kissed his forehead softly "Now just try and rest got it, I have as many packs of serum with me as I could carry up here so just rest and I'll keep an eye on it for you"

Nick looks at her and says, “But I want you to see me this way.” He kisses her cheek and says, “Once the serum kicks, my body will be in a lot of pain as my body gets remade again to fit the changes. It will hard to watch.” He slowly closed his eyes as his body felt heavy. His whole body glowed green and his bones broke one after another. His bones moved like snakes under his skin.

Keita watched but still wouldn't let go of his hand "It's fine I'm still going to be here for you" she said to him softly. She could feel the bones of his hand movie underneath hers unable to amine the pain he was going through. When it was all over she smiled at him before kissing him softly "How are you feeling?" she asked, looking rather sleepy but refused to sleep until she was sure he was safe again. "and don't lie to me either" she said waiting for his answer as she squeezed his hand gently in hers. She'd replaced the liquid a few times when it was almost empty to ensure that he had all he needed.

Nick woke up feeling a little better. “You have not been sleeping.” His voice was weak and shaky. He gently pulls her into bed with him. “I still need more but it can wait. You need rest my love.” He slowly gets out of the bed taking the drip with him. He gets some food and comes back with a fresh amount of serum going into him again. “When I am better I want restore the link if that’s okay?”

Keita smiled "well how could I?" she asked him before being pulled into bed with him "It's ok it's best to get you fixed up as quickly as possible" she smiled at him drifting off for a moment while he was away and looked to him when he came back nodding a little "hmm, ok, but only when you're defiantly a hundred percent better ok?" she said sternly and yawned a little before sitting up "also I've gone days without sleeping and I've been fine so just rest, I'll bring some more packs up" she said and got out of bed, she brought some more of the serum up for him, having given one to Andrew so he could make it encase of an emergency like this happened again. "Anyway how many days is it until your birthday?" she asked smiling a little wanting to see if he remembered.

Nick looks at her a moment and lays down beside her. He says while resting his head on her stomach, “My birthday is in two weeks.” He had a slight fever. He strokes her cheek and says, “My body hurts like crazy. It is like my body has broken down to the smallest parts possible and then got remade like I am a child’s toy. I have never felt such pain in my life.”

Keita shifted a little to make more room for him smiling "Glad you remember as well" she said jokingly and ran a hand through his hair. "I'm sure it can only get better" she said trying to comfort him but wasn't completely sure how to "Anyway I can help at all?" she asked him softly still running her hand softly through his hair gently. "Also I have something planned for your birthday so you have to make sure you're better for then" she smiled at him, having other plans as well, she just needed to ask the others for a bit of help as well.

Nicholas looks up at her a minute. There was not anything she could do for him. But she did relax him by running her fingers through his hair. For some reason that always seems to calm him down. "Just stay with me. That is all you can do. Everything else depends on my body and my ability to adapt." Nicholas knew that things were going to get harder before they actually got better. And even though he would never admit it, he was actually scared.

Keita nodded "Ok then, I'll be right here" she said nodding keeping her fingers running through his hair able to see him relaxing as she did it "Don't worry everything will be ok Nick" she said "So don't be scared" she said softly, beginning to hum a little to him before singing remembering that had calmed him down in the past. "It'll be ok" she said softly when she finished.

Nicholas stays still and relaxes under her touch. She always had a way of calming him down. When they were younger, she used to anger him by calming him down. It use to make him feel weak. But oddly enough, he welcomed her touch. Maybe because he saw her as a woman now. He didn't know. But he was not going to let her go again.

Keita smiled softly able to tell he was relaxing under her touch, glad that he was letting her help him with what little she could do for him. "I love you Nick" she said softly. Her hand resting now on part of his cheek with part of her hand entangled in his hair as she was slowly drifting off again but shook it off and continued the attention she and been giving him. "You'll get better soon enough my love so just relax"

Nicholas looks at her and says, "It's okay for you to sleep. You are tired too." He slowly goes to sleep. His bones were still moving and changing despite the serum settling into his body. But by morning, his body did look better than the night before. However, he still could not move very well. He wakes up but quickly covers his head. He did not want to get up.

Keita shifted waking up from her slumber when she felt him moving. "Don't want to get up?" she asked softly looking to him covered up under the covers "I'll close the curtains for the moment "I'll come back up with some breakfast ok?" she said moving "How are you feeling?" making sure he was up to the oncoming day and kissed him gently when she had moved.

Keita headed downstairs and made some breakfast. The children asking about Nick and she answered that he wasn't feeling too well but not to worry since she was making sure he would get better soon. At that point a bunch of them helped her with making his breakfast making her smile. She did go upstairs and knocked on the door before saying she had his breakfast. "I'll be right back, I just need to ask the others something ok?" she said to him.

Finding Rebecca and the twins "I have a favour to ask of you three, I want to try and do something special for Nick's birthday… we can't go out on normal dates because of the current situation but I want to try to do something social for him" she said shifting since for her it was rather embarrassing. "I want to try to take him a dinner date but have no idea where to start" she said

Nicholas looks at her and says with a sad look in his eyes, "Better but too sensitive and sore." He hides his head under a blanket. When she came back with breakfast, he ate eagerly his eyes glowing as he gave into his hunger.

Rebecca looks at her a moment. "A dinner date is a good idea. Have a big birthday cake and everything during the day. But then the night be all about you two."

Keita nodded at the idea "Yeah, we can get the kids to help with preparations, hopefully he'll be ok then" she sighed "If we split up the groups then we can organise and plan it all that way we won't have anything that'll attract his attention." she said to him nodding "and I need your help with the dinner, like I said we can't go outside so I want to try and do it here maybe, can you help me set it up?" she asked them smiling when they did give an answer she thanked them, hugging Rebecca and the twins before she headed upstairs and checked on him "Anything you want me to get?" she asked sitting beside him.

Rebecca says slowly after making sure that they had all the information they needed, "We will figure something out. Don't worry. Right now just pay attention to Nicholas and help him get better." When she got back up to Nicholas, he was falling apart. His whole body was bleeding. He says, "More serum. My body is still flickering between stable and dying."

She got some more serum and then attached it to the IV. She then focused on wiping the blood off of him. "I brought a large bunch up ok? and Andrew is working on a way to make it as well encase of any other emergencies like this" she said to him and kissed his head. "Please just get better soon ok?" she said to him worked staying there beside him encase he wanted anything "Just ask if you want something ok?"

Nicholas nodded slowly. He was only understanding about every other word she said. He knew he was in big trouble. He was starting to think that the scientists knew about his link to her and pushed her past the breaking point just to see what would happen to the two of them. He says, "I will be okay. I just need time to grow strong again."

Keita smiled weakly and nodded moving to hock his hand again "Ok then" she said softly "but still you better get better for your birthday ok?" she stayed there looking after him the whole day, she made sure to keep a good supply of the serum at hand and came up with a big lunch for him since he had been so hungry before, she ate her own in the room with him. "Nick just rest…" she said and held his hand once again after he'd settled down wishing she could do more.

Later on she looked to the door and moved opening the door she crouched down and smiled "This for Nick?" the little girl nodded "I'll give it to him ok, he just doesn't want people to see him like this" she said to her "when he's better you can visits him ok Yuki?" she said smiling and the girl nodded before Keita showed him the card and put it on the bedside "Seems you have a little admirer" she said softly "She went around and got the other's to sign it as well hoping you'll get well" she spoke softly before she sung to him again and moved hair from his forehead checking his fever "Hmm you're fever has gone up again" she headed out and got some cold water and flannels making him lie on his back and tried to get him to cool down.

Back at the labs, the scientists were monitoring the progress of Keita and Nick. They could not track them but they had planted a bug in her to monitor how her body was reacting and it duplicated into Nick. The one in charge says, “We were right, they linked together. He seemed to have more growth than her. He is being broken down and rebuilt 100 times a minute. He is growing stronger than we ever thought possible. Focus on getting both of them.”

After a few hours, he got up and felt fine. He chows down the food quickly and then looks at her. “I feel better now.” He starts doing push-ups and it could be seen that he was in better shape.

Keita smiled and hugged him gently yet tightly when he was better and sat down for a moment "That's great" she smiled "But still don't push yourself too much ok? Rest until tomorrow and then you can help me with breakfast ok?" she said to him softly. Feeling relieved that he was better "You… you have no idea who worrying it is when your like that" she said too him before making him stand and kissing him lovingly on the lips.
She was still unaware of the bug they'd put in her but if she did know she'd be glad they couldn't track her at least.

He smiles at her and kisses her back before picking her easily. He kisses her neck and says, “Okay I will do as I will do as you ask.” Nick did feel better than ever and he did feel bad for worrying her so badly. He places her on the bed and says, “You are still tired. Why don’t you rest with me a while?”

Keita wriggled in his arms when she was picked up glad he agreed to rest a little more and help her out tomorrow if he was still up to it then. "You noticed?" she asked smiling a little "i'll be fine I've gone day without sleeping so it'll be fine" but still didn't move from the comfort of the bed or him for that matter. She did eventually let sleep take a old of her. Her arms around him in an embrace as though to make sure he wouldn't just up and leave even though it was slowly becoming a habit of hers. Keita did wake up a little later on and looked to him moving a hand to touch his cheek gently. "What time is it love?" she asked still a little sleepy.

Nicholas smiles and she agreed with his terms and went to sleep with him. It was not very often that she did what she was told at least it came with him. He slept beside her for once able to sleep but stayed in her embrace. When she woke up so did he. He says to her with a yawn, "It is 3 in the afternoon. The kids should be getting out of school. But it usually takes them another hour to actually want to stop. These kids really enjoy school despite it being online."

Keita smiled "So they started while I was away I'm guessing?" she asked him moving her arms in order to move herself and sit up "And it's good that they want to learn as well" kissing him gently "You still feeling ok?" she asked him still worried about how he was doing since not long ago he was almost dying. "also one more thing you're not allowed to go in my room ok? I have your present there and you're not allowed to see it until you're birthday" she said bluntly before noticing she still had dinner to cook. "Ok if things get worse just shout ok?" she said to him heading downstairs to start preparations for dinner later on.
