Keita frowned and hugged him tighter upon hearing that, such things did sadden her at times. She moved into his hand when he stroked her cheek, moving a hand to touch his and kissed his fingers softly. "If only there was always a happy ending" she said softly.

He looks at Eric as he follows Alexis around like a lost puppy. He could see the love in both their eyes. He says, “They love each other that is easy to see. But neither will ever act on it more than a few stolen glances.” He looks at Kat. “Rebecca has feelings for Fred but he does not like blonde women and he sees her as a sister.”

Keita listened and nodded able to see it as well "It's quite sad really" she said and looked to him "But isn't the phrase "love finds a way' relevant?" she asked and kissed him before nuzzling him softly.

Nick smiles some and picks her up gently like he was carrying his bride. “Love does find a way but only if people are willing to follow the path love opens for them.” He carries her to the living room area and sits her down on the couch before starting a warm fire. The kids were back in school so they had a bit of time to themselves before the kids got noisy again. He knew that the lab people were not done with them yet. But for now they were okay.

Keita was a little surprised at being picked up holding onto him instinctively when she was picked up listening to what he said. Being set down on the couch she watched as he started a warm fire. "When this is over we'll go outside for a date" she said softly when he did sit down next to her. "Any ideas where you'd like to go?" She kissed him gently, enjoying the time alone they did have when awake as well.

Nick looks at her with a curious expression. “Isn’t the traditional way to have the women picking out where the couple goes on their date?” He then took a moment to think. “On my own opinion, I have always loved to travel. I would probably take you somewhere tropical and let you get pampered and allow you to fully relax. Maybe a resort?? But we could start off by going to a movie or something?”

"I'm not one for tradition sometimes" she said to him "and a movie would be great" she smiled, "When we are safer, when this place is safer for us all then we'll go somewhere tropical" she said softly smiling a little. "and there is a movie I would like to see that's coming out in a few months time" she said "it's an adventure film I think"

Nick looks at her with a smile. “Sounds like a deal.” He strokes her cheek and looks into her eyes. He kisses her gently before he hears his computer going off like crazy. He has it appear in his lap and he looks it over. “Looks like I have been able to buy 40 different companies tied in with the labs. My employees have already began remaking the companies.”

Keita heard his computer as well kissing him back before hand. She looked to the laptop screen and whistled "Wow, that's amazing" she said to him "Their funding goes down that way meaning they have less money to cover up an mistakes" she thought for a moment looking at the screen and pointing out to him one of the companies "That company hired me for my last mission, to kill you" she said recognising the name "or at leas the person there did." she said and frowned slightly "Nick, they really are determined to get rid of you"

Nick looks at the company that hired her to kill him. “My uncle never worked with that company. At least not on the books. So I do not know why they would want me dead. Maybe they wanted to test out your abilities on someone of your own kind.” He keeps into the employee records of that company. He pulls up the pictures of the employees.

"What did your uncle have against you?" she asked curiously "because if he doesn't like you for whatever reason he is most likely funding the labs" she nodded before listening to what he had to say about the topic. She nodded at what he said before smiling a little. "ok then we need to watch out for him" she nodded looking at the photographs she frowned "he's not there, I met him in that company and he said he was in charge."

Nick looks at her a moment and says, “My uncle hated my dad. Then pushed it onto me for the hell of it.” He sighs some and says, “I don’t know what else to do love. My head hurts like hell because I am going nuts over this stuff. I want to through everything these companies have been involved in and go buck wild on killing people.”

She sighed and sat beside him "Nick, you just can't do that, we need to try and remain to the public as well as innocent people so to speak" she said to him softly and kissed him on the cheek " Now then what shall we have for lunch?"

Nick looks at her with a sigh. “I know but sometimes it just seems easier that way.” He kisses her cheek and then thinks about what they can have for lunch. “Um how about how about corn dogs or cinnamon rolls? He was trying to stay calm and just being around her helped him. He tenses up some hearing something outside. “Those beasts are back. This time with ten of them instead of one.” He readies his blade. “Kat it’s your turn to stay with kids and keep them calm.”

"I can make cinnamon rolls sure" she smiled at him and hugged him tightly nodding at what he said "Ok but be careful and call me if you need help ok?" she said to him. She headed down to where the kids were and kept an eye on all of them, ensuring their safety.

Nick walks outside resting his sword on his shoulder. The beast could only see him, he was hiding the orphanage. The beasts stared at him waiting for him to make a move. He analyzes the creatures trying to find their weak spots. He says softly, “I pray that God welcomes your souls in your rightful place. Your pain shall end now.” In one swift motion he had cut through them easily and quickly. So that no one would feel any pain. Then he snaps his fingers and flames consume the bodies. He walks back in after a bit and puts his sword away so the kids do not see the blood.

Keita could smell the blood on his sword and signalled for him to go upstairs and clean it. She had kept the kids distracted during that time as well as ensuring their safety too. She then headed to the kitchen making cinnamon roles. She handed them out and smiled before taking some up to Nick "here cinnamon roles" she smiled

Nick hurries off to clean it and puts it away so the kids could not hurt themselves. He looks at her as she brought cinnamon rolls and says, “Thank you.” He looks at the sword a moment and says, “I made it quick so they would not suffer. They were in pain and crying. I could hear them inside the deformed bodies. I could not do anything for them. I was as useless as a new born baby.” A tear went down his cheek.

Keita kneeled down and kissed his eyes softly "There is one thing you can do" she said to him. "One thing we can all do is try and stop them, to let them rest peacefully after their suffering" she smiled and kissed him softly staying there with him to try and cheer him up a little.

Nick looks at her wiping his eyes. He did not know what else to say. He says, “There is another thing we can all do, we can make sure these kids do not end up the same way.” He takes a bite of one of the cinnamon rolls and then kisses her cheek. He says, “Come on the kids will start to worry if we stay up here too long.”

Keita nodded and headed downstairs holding his hand and smiled kissing him and then getting him to help her with picking up the plates as well as organising a prototype test of parents for in the future it was best to start these things early so they were perfect with no loop holes later on.

Nick helps with the pick-up and organizing a prototype test of parents for in the future. He looks at the different way they could test them and says, “Well we could a written form of exam and I could be in the room to scan their minds and emotions. And those who pass could do a verbal interview with you or Rebecca. Then go from there.”

She typed all this up on her laptop and nodded "Sounds good, also it's a good thing you can read abilities and emotions." she said and nodded a little. She started making example questions on what the parents would be asked and organised a training program to ensure the children would be able to control their powers effectively when under pressure and other things.

Nick sits down some and thinks of different things he could do to train the kids. He taps his foot some and says, “I could make this place bigger and build a big training room.” He was just not sure if he could teach the kids in groups. Many of them have unique gifts or had similar gifts with a difference in strength or length of effect. Plus they all suffer from PTSD.

Keita thought for a moment "It's also be good for us all and it'd get them doing some exercise too" she smiled at him "We'll need to plan where the room will go as well don't forget" she said. "leo when we do think of adopting them out mane we hold advertise and opening evening and explain everything that's going on" she said ti him "Sorry i know it's not for a while but we might never get a chance."
