Nick looks at her and says, “We are covered for now. However explaining what has happened to these kids to possible parents, is not going to be easy. That could very well tempt them to give the kids back to the labs.” He looks at the floor a moment. “Or worse offer a pay day to buy them from the parents. I just do not know how we could have parents understand.”

Keita looked to hi "We can only offer support and gradually get them used to the child in their home and company, get them to love the child and we must make sure of that for a loving parent will not abandoned a child to torture regardless. Also we can ask them to bring their child here for check ups meaning we can keep an eye on them and doctors won't find out either" she said to him.

Nicholas looks at her a moment going over her plan. That could work. It would be a slow process but it would be a good way to keep track of the children and make sure they were treated properly by their new parents. He nods some. "That sounds like a plan to me. But it will be a while before any of them are ready for adoption. But it is always good to have a plan."

"Like you said it it always good to have a plan" she smiled and kissed him again. "Anyway let's go play with them for a bit ok?" she said and closed the laptop after saving everything and heading downstairs with Nick. he played hide and seek with a group of them and laughed when she was looking around for the children who'd hidden.

Nicholas spends hours playing with the children. He really enjoyed taking care of them. Plus this way he was able to see how the children's abilities react to their emotional state. Because if they had emotional triggers, it would be harder to train them. Emotional triggers are unpredictable and can change at any moment. He watches them run around chasing after Kat. He could not help but smile. It would be easier for him if he did not get attached but that was hopeless. He loved every child like they were his own. He would do anything for them.

Keita had found herself getting attached the children as well and played around with them until they were all exhausted and ended up lying down in the greenhouse surrounds by the sleeping younger ones while she was out of breath smiling an looking to them all. Asking him to help with moving them somewhere more comfortable to sleep and also put some blankets over them all smiling.

Nicholas helps her move them to a better place to sleep. They look so cute. He raps them all in a blanket and bring them inside to lay in front of the fireplace so they would all be warm. He then went back out and got Kat by picking her up bridal style and bring her inside. He lays her down gently on the couch. He's then sat back quietly not wanting to wake up the kids.

Keita blushed when he picked her up bridal style again, she really did just need to get used to him doing that now. She remained quiet and being put on the couch she then moved a little and rested her head on his lap smiling a little since he was comfortable. "Your a very comfortable pillow" she smiled speaking softly before she put a hand up and gently pulled him down for a kiss before settling down to have a nap herself.

Nicholas smiles and kisses her back as she goes to sleep. He wanted her to rest happily. He would watch over the children until it was okay for him to rest. Only moving to restoke the fire or comfort one of the children would wake up from a bad dream. He could not picture himself doing anything else with his life. It was almost like he had his own family now. It was a shame that he could not adopt all the children.

Keita didn't wake up when he moved and when she did wake up she let him get some rest. "Now you rest and I'll watch over them ok?" she smiled before sitting down on the couch and watched over everything making sure they were safe, that the fire kept going and that any nightmares were shooed away from the children. They slept for a very long time but she passed the time by letting her mind sink deep into thought while keeping watch.

Nicholas looks at her a moment. He takes her in his arms gently and lays his head in her lap. He was tired but he wasn't sure if he needed to sleep or not quite yet. He was tired but not tired enough to go to sleep. He smiled as he watch the kids sleep. They seemed so peaceful but he knew that they were doing the best they can not to think about the stuff they went through. Andrew had not yet come up with a pill that the kids could take for their pain. And because they were so young and adaptable, they were going through the serum induced changes every few hours. That also made his job a lot harder to train them.

It was later that afternoon that Andrew finally managed to find something to help with the pain and smiled before finding Keita and Nick speaking softly to them both and explaining his findings, he'd been ensuring the pill wouldn't be addictive as well making sure it was easy for them to get weened off it easily in order to adjust to the pain.

Nick listens closely to what Andrew had to say so that they would not make any mistakes with the kids. He was glad they would have something to fight the pain until they learn to handle it on their own. He looks at the kids with a smile. “Well at least we will be able to ease their pain a bit.”

Keita smiled and nodded "That good to hear" she smiled and looked to Nick "you're right at least their pain will be eased, we can try them tomorrow if you like or at dinner time?" she said. Andrew nodded "best they eat them with a meal" he said. Keita nodded smiling happily glad that they finally had something to help the children with the pain.

Nicholas looks at the children thinking a moment. "At dinner time would be better. They are changing is happening more frequently for them than it did for us when we were little." He smiles some as the children look like a bunch of curled up balls. Who knew that they could get so tired out. He hoped that they would be able to sleep tonight.

"And don't worry they'll sleep fine tonight Nick" she said shaking her head and laughing a little "Also did we ever reconnect our link?" she asked him

Nicholas says to her with a smile, "We should have tired them out like this a while ago. This would have helped them deal with the pain." When she brought up the link he shook his head. "We have not exactly had time to do a link. It takes time to do a link. More time than it does to undo it. And so far we have not had enough time."

"Hmm ok, well we have some time now" she said how long does it usually take roughly if you can remember" she asked him a little curiously. "If we have enough time we can do it after dinner if it takes too long" she said to him not really having any ice show the lil was made, she didn't really know he'd formed a link with her last time so didn't know how it was done.

He looks at her and could easily tell that she was not aware of how hard a link was to make. Merging people's energy, their mental state, and in their case their abilities was hard enough the first time. Second time is going to be even harder. He focuses his energy to make it seeable. A deep red energy swirls around his body like a tornado. "Every living thing in life has its own energy. The link forces two energies to become one. If it is not done right, it can kill both people involved."

Keita looked to him "You really should just tell me if it's hard to do" she said before he started and remained quiet and still so he could concentrate. She looked to him wondering if there was anything she could do to make it easier for him to recreate the link and watched his movements carefully as well as listening around as well. "well going to tell me fi there is anything I can do?" she eventually asked

Nicholas looks at her with a huff. "Well for me and you to do this you have to be completely relaxed or it will not work. But are you sure that you want the link to come back? Earlier you did not. So forgive me for being a little confused." He looks at her with a smile though after a moment. "You have to admit that the link does come in handy from time to time."

"It's because we weren't safe at that time, we were kids and you kept getting hurt constantly because of experiments like before, that's why I didn't want you to create the link and we did said we'd reconnect it when you were better" she said to him relaxing where she was and watching the flickering flames of the fire.

He took her into his arms gently and his energy pushed inside her body as their energies became one. It kind of felt like their bones were breaking and being fused with a different form of bone. His eyes widened as the energy mixed together inside both of them after a few minutes. But they could not separate for at least an hour. It would give the bond time to form then it would be up to the both of them to make sure that it did not backfire for the next 4 hours. By not fighting with each other.

Keita shifted and winced in his arms moving her own around him and hugging him tightly. Her eyes closing when their energy mixed together. Keita looked to him and stayed close before making him move with her to lie on the couch. "I know we need to stay close I remember that part, you just wouldn't let go of me for a long time but I don't know how long" she said and kissed him softly snugging into him since he was nice and warm.

Nick looks at her with a slight smile as they are both laying on the couch. "Well last time it was an hour of being together. Then 4 hours of not arguing which is really hard for the two of us from time to time. This time it could be any amount of time that we need. So this time I don't know how long we need." Nick holds her close and gently rubs her back so that she can feel comfortable.
