Nick makes sure she was comfortable before he got himself comfortable. He knew that she would be up early to make breakfast so she needed all the sleep she can get. "I love you too Kat have sweet dreams." Nick was able to sleep for 4 hours before his instincts took over and kept him awake. He was worried that the kids may need him. And he was right. By 4 a.m. The kids had all woken up because of nightmares about the labs. He got them all to the living room again and stayed with them until they fell asleep.

Nathan woke up about a half hour before Sora. He enjoyed watching her sleep. It was the only time she wasn't driving him crazy. but he didn't mind her craziness. It just became a little too much sometimes. Which is normal for people. "Morning."

Keita made sure everyone was ok, preparing some warm milk for them all in oder to ensure everyone would sleep well. She then thought for a moment on nightmares and how to get rid of them for the children. She spoke to Nick about a few ways that would help to see what eh would think.

"Hmm, morning Nathan" she yawned and stretched "Sleep well?" she asked softly and still stayed cuddled into him under the warm blankets.

Nicholas listened to her ideas to help with the nightmares. He says, "Anything that could help them get a better night sleep I would do. However we cannot have it interfere with their pain medication. Their bodies are still getting use to the serum changing their bodies. A lot of them still could not tolerate pain."

Nathan looked at her. Since when did she stay to cuddle? He gently rubs her back and says, "I slept fine." He was content just laying here all day holding her.

"Ok then, well then I'll try making sure they have some warm milk and apple before bed, it has helped me for some time so might be able to calm them before they go to bed" she said softly and once the children had all settled she relaxed and headed to bed with him again afterwards, sleeping in a little once again

Sora looked up and yawned "hmm, think Keita is sill in bed, come now e better make the kids their breakfast" she said and moved to get up but stumbling since she was still a little weak, shaking it off she sighed and then changing once again not caring he was there before heading downstairs to make some bacon and eggs for the kids.

While Nicolas and Kat slept a little more Nathan watched over the children just in case they had anymore nightmares. He felt so bad for them. They were just beginning their lives and they were already experiencing such great pain. It was just not fair to them. Some of the children woke up once they smelt some of the food. They slowly made their way to the table.

Sora put out the plates and looked to them able to pick up their pain and sighed wishing she could do something to help them. She ruffled her hair and looked to Nathan a pained look reflect in her amber eyes. Keita woke up smelling the food as well and nudged Nick by accident "Huh you're not cooking?" she questioned "that means… Sora and Nathan are downstairs with the kids at the moment" she muttered still rather sleepy.

Getting up later on Keita stretched and looked around "Hmm it does feel strange not having a voice in ym head telling em to go back to sleep now" she smiled. Sora was downstairs eating her breakfast still and relaxed where she was deciding she'd go to sleep later on, although she blinked and suddenly yelled for Keita who quickly appeared "What am I meant to do about that?" she asked her before the flames were put out by water both looking to each other "Fire and water… amber and blue.. oh great… we've developed new power and as if mine didn't sap enough energy" said a rather grumpy Sora.

Sora wasn't one who adapted like Keita, although both had very sensitive senses, Sora was one who could invade people's dreams, one which seemed to be very unique to her and was the most likely cause of her constantly sleeping.

Nathan looks at the girls a moment and goes with Nicolas into his lab. They both knew that the girls were having issues controlling when their powers are acting up. Maybe they could come up with something to help those girls keep their powers at bay. Nathan knew about Sora's dream ability and he could easily block. But that did not stop her from roaming other people's dreams.

For several days, the boys stayed in the lab while Frederick and Eric looked after everyone for them. The girls to be happy those boys would do anything for them. Eventually though Nathan and Nicholas came out holding two unique necklaces. The boys slowly put the necklaces on the girls and the necklaces glowed slowly balancing out their abilities.

Kieta and Sora were both very careful about using they abilities although Keita did have to explain to Sora the pair of them would be in the lab for a while during that time, who ended up using a pillow instead of Nathan to cling onto when sleeping. Neither of them knowing what was going on. When they came out the pair were in the greenhouse with the kids both looking up to see them. Keita gave a smile knowing what the necklace was "it's for after that incident a few days ago" she stood up and kissing Nick quickly, she still got embarrassed about such actions but was really happy that they'd actually taken the time to do something to help.

Sora had a different reaction, she eyed the necklace for a moment searching her memories before standing up thinking for a moment "Thanks… Nathan" she said when the necklace was put on her, holding part of in her hand and rubbed her thumb over it a little. "It'll help a lot… so thanks" she pecked his cheek softly before she looked back to the necklace wondering how it was made.

Nick kisses Kat back and chases the kids around making them laugh like crazy people. While Nathan stayed with Sora knowing he probably made her mad by disappearing on her. But the necklaces were important. He says, “This should stop you from walking around in people’s dream so you will actually sleep like a normal person and wake up refreshed.” He was not making fun of her. He was just saying it would help with that.

Sora smiled a little "Thanks again though and don't worry I'm not mad" she said to him knowing he would most likely think that. "Anyway i'm going to stay awake as long as possible to help out and hopefully be out like a light later on. If the necklace works then by tomorrow morning I should be refreshed" she said before she went to go find a book to read some of the younger children, she never was quite so active as Keita who was chasing the kids around as well "How about hide and seek?" she suggested "you lot hide and me and Nick will come to find you ok?" she said and they nodded laughing before Keita closed her eyes and began to count. they hid in all sorts of places when they had finished counting she looked to Nick "Wait how many of them are we looking for?"

Nathan helps Sora out with the younger children. He always loved it when she would read out loud. She bought books to life with her voice. That would encourage the children to like reasding eventually as they get older. Which would make school and socializing a lot easier for them later on.

Nicholas on the other hand was having a hard time with figuring out how many children they were looking for. " let's see there are 7 adults. And a hundred fifty kids. 20 of which are too small to play this game. So about 130 kids. So we better get started." They counted to 20 before looking for each child. To play fair place and give them time to look for a spot. Times like these made him glad that there was a barrier around the orphanage so they can't go too far.

Sora read some of the fairy tale books they had such as Little Red RIding Hood and Hansel and Gretel. She watched their faces making different voices and showing them the pictures in the books as well as they read the book encouraging some of them to try reading a few lines.

Keita nodded "Yeah, might be a god idea, this'll be a long game of hide and seek though" she laughed and counting with him she thought of the various hiding places they could be. "Next time we only do a small group ok?" she said to him laughing a little.

The younger children had a heyday as Sora read to them and even encourage some of them to read. They stumbled but they enjoyed it. It was not very often that they got to try something new at their age.

Nicholas was good at finding the kids but some of the older boys were little hard to find. They were strong enough to move things to make their own spot to hide. So when it was starting to get late, he began to worry about them getting hurt or stuck.

Sora smiled, enjoying it as well, she noticed Keita and Nick still looking for some of the older boys and pointed out to them where she'd seen some of them heading. keita looking around found most of them along with Nick but when it got to the last one they struggled to find him. 'We really need to find him soon before i start preparing dinner" she said.

Sora relaxed afterwards determined to stay awake so she'd sleep well that night, glad she'd have Nathan to sleep beside once again.

Nicholas agreed with her. People were not supposed to stay out super late. And this kid definitely was a good hider. Then he got to thinking. This kid had the ability of invisibility. "Mathew, quit cheating and get your butt out here." He smirked some as a 10 year old boy comes out. The boy says, "Geez can't take a joke. It's not like you guys actually care about us." He goes inside and goes to his room.

Nate looks at the boy as he went by. He could sense the boy was angry at the world. Scared to let the other people in.

Keita looked to I'm a pained look in her eye, wondering if the other children felt that way and looked to Nick a little worried before speaking softly "What if he's not the only one?" she asked him softly "I really do hope we can help him feel better about his family" she said softly and hugged him gently.

Sora looked to him and thought for a moment "wonder what's wrong, why he's like that… wonder if I can adjust my dream ability to search memories?" she muttered thinking to herself.

Nicholas hugs her back knowing that the kids could be feeling the same way Matthew was. "All these children have felt hurt and betrayed by this world already in their short time of life. Matthew is one of the oldest kids. He probably remembers what it's like to grow up in an orphanage unwanted by anyone. Then you add in the experience of the labs and it becomes too much. He may feel like nobody will care about him. I mean I see all these children as my own. If I could I would adopt every last one of them so they would never feel that hurt again."

Nathan looks at Sora a moment. "Maybe you could. If you really want to do that then you should be able to with the necklace's help. After all it is meant to help you control all of your abilities."

Keita nodded "Then we need to try and make them test the world once again, to have hope" she said softly and kept hugging him tightly. She soon calmed down and leaned up kissing hi nose "Thanks now, can you help me with making dinner?" she asked smiling a little.

"Yeah but I'll still need to sleep and my ability works better if that certain person is asleep too and I'm comfortable which means i ned you there as well. After all you are basically like my teddy bear only…" she turned a little red and stopped talking"never mind.." she muttered and walked off.

Nicholas looks at her a moment. How were they going to show them how to trust the world again? He did not know for sure but he was going to figure out a way. He says walking her inside, "We will figure all this out together. But let's focus on getting the children something to eat. They get a little angry when they don't eat." They went inside and moved on to getting dinner done. Nicholas could see that something was wrong with Nathan. He looked completely dumbfounded and confused.

Keita nodded "Ok then" she said soon noticing something wrong was with Nathan "What did Sora say?" she asked bluntly knowing it was most likely due to what was said to him. Sora headed to bed thinking carefully as well as calming herself down too. She groaned and rolled onto her front burying her head in the pillow "What on earth was I thinking!" she yelled into the pillow, only it was far more muffled and badly hearable.

Nathan looks at them a moment and says, "You women are very confusing. One minute she was fine the next she stopped talking and walked off. Why can't you just say what you mean and get it over with?" He had his I'm so baffled look on his face. Nicholas laughs some. He says, "It doesn't get easier trust me. It took me several weeks to months to get Kat to realize how I felt about her. And she is just now getting to where we can kiss in public."

Keita looked to Nick "Well I don't pick up on things like that very well" she frowned and looked to him "Why don't you just ask her what's wrong instead of standing there looking confused, Sora trusts you after all but she has far more problems expressing herself to anyone.

Nathan says to her, "If I get bitch slapped again I blame you." He walks to Sora's room. This is going to be interesting. He knocks so he doesn't upset her and slowly comes in. He says, "Are you okay? I didn't quite understand what went down earlier. Did I miss something? Or did I say something to upset you?"

Nicholas goes to the kitchen and slowly starts to make lasagna for the children. It was heavy enough to keep them full. But it also heated up well so if they wanted to eat it for leftovers tomorrow it would still taste good. High levels of protein to keep them growing strong. He wanted them to eat well tonight.

Keita sited out plates and put aside they shares as well, hoping everything was going ok and smiled a little "Want to know why she's acting like that… truth is she's liked Nathan for a long time… but scared to admit it… that's also why she likes him to be there when she's sleeping, she really did struggle to sleep when you two were locked up in that lab of yours" she smiled.

Sora looked to him having just finished screaming into her pillow "I'm just a little tired is all" she said in her usual tone although her red cheeks were still hard to hide. "Why did you think i was upset?"

Nathan looks at her and knows that she is lying. Okay something is up. He sits on the bed beside her and says, "Something is up with you and you know damn well that I can tell. You and I have always been close. I know when something is up with you. So would you mind just telling me already? Because I hate not knowing what is going on with you. It's like I'm waiting to get bitch slapped again. Like last time you were mad at me."

Nicholas listens to Kat talk about her sister's feelings for his brother. He wasn't blind he knew something was between the two of them. " well he is not going to leave her alone until she speaks what she needs to. She needs to learn to express her feelings or he will never know how she feels and she will lose him."
