Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Looking above him and about him, Daniel continued moving forward cautiously. There were those that loved to use nets to drop from above to capture people and he made sure that no one was above or there was nothing that could hide a net. Seeing none he moved into the clearing and began looking about. The place looked as if it had not been used in some time, but the path had lead them there and that had been used. He didn't like the looks of it, but yet there was nothing there to pose a threat. However he knew looks could be deceiving so he kept his guard up. Some he supposed would lower their guard, but not him. He chuckled to himself, remembering the old movies on earth. Just when they thought they were safe and lowered their guard was when the monster would strike. Well if one did, he would be ready for it. But none did. Kicking open doors he found empty dwellings. Empty of people but not furniture and the like. It was as if the people just up and left, leaving everything behind, or had been captured.
Silver followed close behind Daniel as he led them slowly and cautiously into the village. When he started investigating the houses, Silver took the reigns of the tharilon and kept her distance. Mama continued to make a small partol around them, looking and scenting to make sure they were indeed very much alone. "I don't like this." Silver said again, but in a whisper this time. She looked around and felt the need to run start taking her over. "Master,we should leave."....
No blood, and no sign of a struggle or a fight. What ever happened, happened quickly and with percision or something else. He nodded his head as Silver said they should leave. Moving through the village to the other side, still keeping a watchful eye out they again entered the Rain Forest and another path. They had gone perhaps a mile when Mama picked up a scent. She stopped and growled lowly, hunching down, as if she was getting ready to spring. Daniel moved forward and found a man, dressed as a warrior leaning against a tree, asleep. The man must have thought that no one would be coming down the path. If he was a sentery he had failed utterly in his duties. Daniel's sword was at his thoat by the time the warrior was even aware someone was there and started to get up. "No friend, you just sit there." his sword point drew blood.
Silver felt better the instant they left the village behind, but the relief didn't last long and soon enough, Mama picked up on something. Silver did too and she hunched up some against the tharilon. Having to keep hold of the beast meant she couldn't crouch, so she was forced to remain standing. Daniel came upon a snoozing warrior and when awoken, Silver looked around again carefully. This whole thing was wrong somehow. She didn't know how, just that it was wrong. "Master." She whispered, looking cautiously at the guard as he looked at Daniel, then her and then Mama. His face lifted some and then cleared of all emotion when he saw Silver. A small droplet of blood worked its way loose over Daniel's blade and both Mama and Silver began to growl......
"I think Mama is hungry." he looked down at the warrior. Mama smelled the fear in the man and growled menasing. She moved up close sniffing the man and growling. "Yes I think she is very hungry."
"Who are you?" the warrior asked. "What are you doing here."
"Well I think it is I that will be asking the questions. Right Mama." he told the man. Mama growled again as if agreeing with him. "Now who are you and what are you doing out here?"
"I am Tomolas." the man spoke, "I..... " he began but was cut off. "He is suppose to be guarding the path." another voice came and Mama turned to the one that spoke, and made ready to attack. Daniel looked up and over at the warrior that spoke. He was with two others. They did not have their swords drawn and they carried their shields on their backs. "Now if I a may ask you, Who you are and what brings you to the rain Forest?" he made not threatening move so Daniel spoke to Mama.
"Easy Mama. Relax." he moved from the man to Mama and petted her fur and scratched behind her ears. The warrior raised a brow and was impressed on how Daniel seemed to be able to control the She Sleen. "I am Daniel Campbell." he told the warrior. he did not think that his name would have reached that far south as of yet. "I am here looking for some people that I was told might inhabited the Rain Forest. Those much like my slave here." he motioned for Silver to step forward. The Tharlion had blocked their view of her. Once they saw her their eyes went wide."
Silver stepped forward and it was clear she was recognised. The second man stepped forward and looked from Daniel to Silver and then back again. "Where did you find her and where do you hail from, Daniel Campbell?" He asked quickly, wondering just who the hell this man was and why he was looking for her people. He was suspicious, but he didn't unsheath his blade just yet. At the sight of Mama, the warrior furrowed his brow and looked at her oddly. This sleen did not belong here, but then, neither did Daniel. In fact, the only one that did belong was the silver eyed beauty keeping hold of Daniel's tharilon. Working his jaw some, the warrior waited for his questions to be answered.....
He looked over at Silver smiling. "The Slave Pens of Ar. She was at that time as fierce as this She Sleen. But as you can see she has been tamed. As for where I hail from, well my name should speak for itself. I am here looking for more like her. I was told that she may have come from this part of Gor since it seems to be uninhabited and could hide a peole like her. I was told they would fetch a good price in the markets if I could find them and lead others to them to capture them." He stroked Mama's fur as he talked having pushed his sword into the ground where he could retrieve it fast. It was a sign from him that he wished to talk and not hostile.
The man grinned some and looked back at Silver. "A high price you say. That is good to know. "Come I will take you to our camp and we can talk more comfortably there." he nodded to one of the others with him and he walked over to where the guard was. The guard inturn moved to behind the warror. "I will deal with you later." he looked at the guard with anger in his eyes. Then he turned back to Daniel. "Come, I will gurentee your safety while you are at my camp, you, your slave and the She Sleen if she can be controled.
Daniel petted Mama some more. "What do you say Mama." She snorted and rubbed up against Daniel's leg, which drew another amazed look from the warrior.
"I am Toranto." he introduced himself. "You must tell me how you can control such a beast. Never have I seen one as tame as her. Trainers and owners always must be wary of the sleen they have least they turn on them. Yours seems well in control of."
"Well first she is not my sleen. She is a free sleen that sees fit to accompany me. I have my way with sleen I guess, not sure though how." He retrieved his sword and sheathed it, then slung his shield onto his back and went to Silver. He smiled warmly at her and then began to follow Toranto with Mama pacing him at his side.
Silver listened intently to the conversation between Daniel and the one she came to know as Toranto. She had to lift an eyebrow at his lie about selling her people, if she actually had a people, but Toranto bought it without question. Goreans didn't lie, so they took him at face value, at least for now. He was then invited to their camp and Silver narrowed her eyes at the other warriors. The one that had laxed in his duty, she paid little mind to, it was the other two she was concerned about. She had had Masters before that had fallen for such invites and she had been stolen and the Master killed. When Daniel came to her, she pursed her lips some and looked nervously at him. "Master, I don't trust these men." She whispered, "They are like the bandits that would rob the pilgrims, like the ones that stole me away once and killed the Master. Please be careful?"....
Oh he knew not to be to trusting. But when a warrior gurentees one safety, it is a point of honor to keep it. Even if he was working for the Kur at least this one might still follow the code of the Warrior. He followed and soon enought they came to a large military style camp in a small clearing. There were a good twenty warriors there. As they entered the camp the warriors rose to their feet and at seeing Mama backed up some thier hands going to their short spears. Daniel smiled as Mama walked at his side growling slightly at them. Toranto walked them to a central tent and opened the flap so they could see inside. it was his command tent and it was empty. He held it open and allowed the three of them to walk in and then followed. "You say you came her to look for more like your slave. I can tell you that there are but I doubt that they will be able to be taken as slaves They are to valuable here. To be honest with you. he looked at Daniel, "This one has been sought for a long time."
Daniel looked at him wondering if he would keep to his word or not. "I have a feeling you already know her ability to run and work with sleen." He looked down at Mama. "It seems that you have a knack with them yourself and have tamed her and this one even though the She Sleen is free to come and go as she pleases. We can use someone like you here. If you are looking for a place to be this could be it. My employer would be more then willing to even let you keep your slave here in exchange for you teaching others your skill."
Silver followed in silence, leading the tharilon and she looked all around her. After some time, they arrived in a military camp and Silver felt instantly on edge again. The tharilon was taken from her and she followed Daniel and Mama into the central tent which seemed to be the commanders. She moved to a corner with Mama and sat down with her, and continued to listen as the men began talking. So there were more like her after all, but it was unlikely they would be captured. They were too precious? She lifted her head then as Toranto mentioned her and having been looking for her for some time. Silver narrowed her eyes at him and he continued talking. He knew far more than he should, especially about her and her ability with sleen. To her though, it really wasn't ability, it was natural instinct. When the conversation turned to Toranto inviting Daniel to work with them and maybe even keeping her, Silver had heard enough and she began to growl low in her throat. Mama also growled and moved closer to her daughter, feeling the tension in her whelp about the stranger. Moving to cover Silver entirely, Mama positioned herself so as not to crush her daughter, but to block any further viewing of her and keep her calm. It would do no good Silver going off half cocked and getting herself into mischief... yet......
Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Toranto quickly looked over at Silver and Mama as they growled. Daniel just chuckled. "I would not make either of them mad or make a threatening move. As you can see Mama is very protective of her. You see Mama is more then just a She Sleen to her. She is her mother. She was raised by her in a Pack of sleen. She may be small but she is deadly, and I have in the past given her permission to defend herself, which I have not lifted.
Again Toranto's eyes went wide and then he chuckled. "That is very useful information. I do not think my employer knows that such a thing is possible, nor its benifits." He nodded his head to Daniel. "I think he will like you Daniel Campbell. A warrior without a home, one that has a unique abillity and more insight on what he wants to do. Come this can not wait." he looked at Daniel and saw the way he had positioned himself. "Again I gureentee your safety, while you are here and where we are going. However if you decide to leave and leave the Rain Forest, I can not go that far."
Again he opened the tent flap and Daniel nodded to Silver and Mama as he left the tent, still keeping an eye on Toranto and then again on his men. Toranto lead them our of the camp and down another path to a cave entrance. Placing a hand on the side of the small mound a metal door that blocked the entrance slid back and he entered a well lit tunnel.

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Silver continued to growl and hiss from under Mama, her dislike for Toranto growing with every word he spoke. He seemed impressed with Silver for some reason, though she supposed being a human raised by sleen and being able to coexist with them was unheard of until she came along. She could almost see the dark glee in Toranto's eyes as she peered at him from under her mother.
After a while, Daniel was invited to go with him again and when nodded at, Silver carefully got to her feet and followed with Mama at her side. Knowing how Silver felt about this place and the man speaking with her Alpha, she thought it best to keep her whelp close from now on. When they left the camp, Silver began looking around again, spying possible escape routes that would give her and Mama some good cover and head start and Mama seemed to be doing the same.
Far enough from the camp to be private, Silver watched with wide eyes as Toranto touched the rock face and a door slid to one side. She felt her heart catch in her throat and swallowed it down hard again as they entered. It was like the place the Priest Kings lived, but she didn't get that feeling as she did before. All she felt now was pure fear. She wanted to leave immediately......

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Oh Daniel didn't like going into tunnels again. He had not liked the tunnels of the Priest Kings. There was no escape routes and one would be hard pressed if it came to fighting. But he had one thing that would help should it come to it. Two actually. Attached inside his shield were the two claw like bracers that Hector had given him for Silver. With those, her and Mama could be an unstoppable force. They were hidden from view by his back and the shield slung there. It would but take a few moments to remove them and throw them to Silver.
The tunnel was long and Daniel could see it was man made, and the sides seemed to have been fused with something. Only something incredably hot could fuse the walls like they were. The tunnel lead down to a huge cavern. In the middle of it was another sleek looking craft that Daniel knew just from looking at it was a space craft. But this one seemed damaged. All about the cavern floor were small looking humans. He had never seen any so short, half the size of him. There were normal humans there as well and they used whips on the smaller humans. It seemed they were slaves doing all sorts of menial work.
To one side of the cavern were structures and about them Daniel could see Silver streaked haired people, and he bet they also had the silver eyes like Silver did. There were also Sleen pens with a number of the creatures pacing back and forth.

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Silver followed Daniel obediently as they made their way into the tunnels of the mountain, but what she really wanted to do was run as far and as fast as she could away from there. It took all she had to keep her cool as she looked around. She ran her hands over the walls of he tunnel as they walked and she could feel that they were smooth and quite warm. She wondered how they could have done it, but then, when it came to creatures like the Priest Kings and the Kur and what she had learned of them, anything truly was possible.
After some time, they arrived in a massive cavern and Silver looked around again with deep fear, but also wonder. It was just like the Priest Kings and what they had done to their mountain! All around, she could see little men racing around and being whipped and ordered by taller men. It was very strange and she pitied the small half men. She had tasted the whip before many times and the sting of them still haunted her. But then, off to one side, she saw some people that made her mouth drop open and she quickly moved to Mama's side, almost under her. She saw people with silver hair. Were they her people?
They looked thin and lithe like her and the females among them looked small and delicate, just like she did. As one of males turned, she saw a flicker in his eyes that looked as strange as the place they were in. Silver didn't realise it yet, but her eyes were doing exactly the same thing. His eyes reminded her of sleen eyes at night. It disturbed her greatly and she actually did move under Mama then. Crouching right down, she began walking on her fours and stayed right under Mama for protection. Mama grunted at her in understanding and spread her gate a little so she didn't tread on her whelp....

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Daniel saw the silver haired and eyed people and looked over at Toranto. "Yes they are the same as your slave. Only a handful right now, but He is patient and has been at this for a number of years now.
"Who are these little people?" Daniel asked.
"They live here in the Rain Forest. We needed laborers and they seemed to fit the need. They make good slaves when motivated." Toranto took them towards the damaged ship. As they approaced a large dark furred creature emerged. It looked like a beast, but it walked on two legs and wore a semblence of clothing. He/It watched them approach.
"I have brought some one that could be useful to your plans. He seems to have an ability to tame sleen. He nodded to Mama, "He also has a slave that seems to be the one that disapeared many years ago. She also seems to behave like a sleen and might be able to communicate with them."
Silver remained firmly between Mama's front legs as they moved to the ship, but her eyes were fixed on the silver people. Who were they? Did they have names? Why were they staring at her? Silver whimped some and Mama responded by gently rubbing her chin on Silver's head. Crossing the cavern, they came to the strange vessel and Silver stared at it from well under Mama's chest now. When the creature emerged from it, Silver gave into her fear and cowered right under Mama, whimpering and hiding from the creatures view.
The creature stared down at Toranto and the stranger. His large eyes regarded Daniel carefully. "What makes you think he will be useful?" He asked his warrior. He glared at Daniel and then looked at Mama carefully. Sleen had been tamed before, especially if born into servitude and he saw no slave, only Daniel and the sleen. "What slave?".....
"Silver, come to me." he called. "Sleen are never tamed, even if they are bread in captivity. They always have that wild side that can turn against you. Besides you need wild sleen, if I think what you are wanting is to be true. Wild sleen are fierious and can rip a man apart and devour him. A pack can do terrible things to a number of armed men."
Silver trembled, but she made to move. However, Mama quickly made it clear she wasn't letting go of Silver and she quite openly put her middle legs around Silver's body and held her there. She then growled at Daniel, telling him she wasn't giving up her whelp to the creature. In response, the creature stared down at Daniel and Mama. "I'm waiting." He said impatiently.....
"Its alright Mama, she is going no where." He patted the Sleen's head. "If he tries to harm her you can have him for lunch." That made Mama snort and could almost see her smile."
After snorting and glaring at the creature, she slowly let Silver go and the girl crawled out from under the sleen. She remained on her fours though, ready to bolt back in a heartbeat and looked up carefully at the creature. The very second the creature saw her, his eyes snapped to Daniel. "This is your slave?" He asked, before looking briefly at the others that were now staring intently from their corner. He moved heavily down the steps from his ship snad moved to Silver, who immediately bolted back under Mama. The creature narrowed his eyes and looked at Daniel directly now. "Where did you find her?"....
"In the slave pens of Ar." Daniel told the creature. "When I found her she was like a wild Sleen, as she had been raised by them." This made the creature even more intrested.
"Raised by sleen? She acts like them?" he asked.
"At times. Such as now or when she must defend her self." Daniel told him. "Other wise she is my pleasure slave and very human."
The creature moved closer then which made Mama growl quite dangerously. The creature growled back before he looked at Daniel once more. "So you have come to return my property." he said matter of factly, "Toranto."
"Yes Sir?"
"Pay this man for his trouble and put my property into the pens with the others." The creature said and then regarded Daniel with care. "This sleen. Is it valuable?".....
"She is not your property." Daniel said. "She is my slave and if you try to take her you will die."
"I have given him my gurentee of Safety for him, his slave and his sleen." Toranto spoke up. He looked at the Kur and the Kur back at him. Toranto was one of those that commanded band of mercenaries. They sold thier swords to the highest bidder, and could quit any time it pleased them. The Kur knew this. "Then why have you come here?" it asked.
"To find more like her. To capture and sell. She is a rarity in the north, and more like her would fetch a generous sum for each I could sell."
"This man has the ability to control sleen, you see this one. She is not tamed but in his presence she is calm and obedient. I was thinking he could help with the ones we have captured."
The Kur narrowed his eyes and glared at Daniel, "Then I shall pay you for her." He said before regarding Toranto again. He considered the option carefully before nodding his head, "And I will pay you handsomely for helping with the rest of my sleen. What do I call you, Human?".....
"She is not for sale, but I will help with your sleen for a price and you can call me Daniel."
The Kur worked his massive jaw and lowered his head some to look at Daniel more on his level. "You know you bought stolen property though, Daniel." He said, "I could simply take her back and detain you for it." His help withthe sleen notwithstanding, he wanted Silver back.....
Daniel laughed. "Where are you papers of ownership?" Daniel asked. "Also you say she was stolen property. She was found with sleen and captured and sold into slavery. The law is on my side ever since I bought her." he smiled. She obeys me and me alone. Besides, You are evidently not of Gor or you would know these things and I have not heard of a beast race. Your ship here tells me you are like me, from another world. As I am sure Toranto here will tell you, you have no claim on her."
The Kur lifted an eyebrow at Daniel and then backed off a step. He began to smile before he gave off a loud laugh and shook his large head, "As you wish, Daniel." He said. He was impressed by the human, but he still wanted Silver one way or another. "You can keep your little slave, I won't attempt to take her from you, clearly she means something more than gold." He moved around to Toranto. "Find this bold human some lodgings." He ordered, "Large enough for his slave and sleen." Toranto nodded and disappeared to do just that. The Kur, after a moment, turned back to Daniel. "Breedings then." He said as he flickered with ideas. "I'll pay you to breed her instead. Would that suit you better?".....
"Not even that." Daniel told him, "Besides it is not the breeding that you need to be looking at, but how to raise the young." he nodded to the silver haired ones." he then looked at the sleen pens. "Now perhaps I can see what I can do with them." If he could gain control of them, he would have another force to throw at the Kur and any that stood in his way. He began moving in that direction with Mama following. "Come Silver, no one will bother you." he told her. As he walked to the pens he searched out the Alpha among them. A large brutish looking sleen, with scars to show his battles to keep his position. This was going to be a real test to see if his dominating Mama was a fluke or something more.
The Kur cocked his head to one side, but followed Daniel to the pens anyway. Silver followed also, but she remained under Mama and out of sight for the most part from everyone who wouldn't be brave enough to actually get close enough to look. Once at the pens, as Daniel regarded the Alpha sleen, the Kur regarded Daniel. "We have tried leaving the young with the sleen before, but they eat the infants and if we birth the mothers with the sleen, they are both killed. So how do you propose I raise them among sleen if they are eaten all the time? How was it done with your little slave?".....
Daniel smiled. "She was not placed with them, but found by Mama here. A female Sleen it seems will take in a human child if found. You trying to place them have the smell of humans all over the child. But if the sleen are controlled, the young might be accepted more. Also the She Sleen have to have just had a litter." At least that was what he figured out from what Silver told him.
At the pens the Alpha paced and growled and hissed. Daniel got close to the pen as he could and went down to one knee as he locked his gaze upon the Alpha. It growled and snarled and slowly came close to the pen's wire. The Kur was close and Daniel could see that the sleen did not like the creature and irritated it. He told him to back off some so the sleen could only see and smell him. Mama was at his side growling low in her throat.
Mama wasn't the only one growling. Silver was too and when the Alpha on the other side began to move closer to the wire, both females hissed and lowered their heads in response to the larger and more intimidating male. It was much like what had happened with Silver when Daniel had first found her. The Alpha male growled and hissed at Daniel and at one point, made to charge the pen wire, but stopped again when Daniel didn't move. He began to calm after that, more so when the Kur backed right away and all he could smell was Daniel and the females with him. He regarded Mama carefully and then Silver between her front legs, viewing her as sleen also for the way she smelled and sounded. He saw a young whelp and grunted at her before he growled at Mama. Slowly, he sat down near the pen wire and stuck his head out to sniff at Daniel, greeting him as an equal. He must be Alpha of the females. The others in the pen began to follow suit and it wasn't long before they were all calm enough to cause the silver haired people to emerge some more from their tiny corner. The Kur stood there with a broad smile on his massive maw. "Remarkable." He said, "Truly remarkable."....
Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
He looked at Mama and Silver under her, before standing up. "They are calm for now, but I would not have anyone going into the pen." Daniel said. Toranto was back and He looked at the sleen with amazement. "You have done what no other has been able to." The Kur chuckled and smiled, which was a horrible sight to see.
The Kur nodded as he smiled, "As you wish Daniel." He said, then looked at Mama and Silver as Toranto made his compliments to Daniel. He beckoned that they follow him then as he turned away. "Whatever your price, Daniel, I will pay it for you to train my sleen and the experiments to handle them." He said, though his eyes kept going to Silver and Mama. "Such a shame you won't let me breed her. I'd happily pay all medical costs and I'd certainly share the price of thre offspring with you. I could make you a very rich man."
Daniel smiled. "Oh I imagine that by the time I leave here I will indeed be rich." Nothing he had told them had not been a lie. Even about being told about where her people came from. Tarl had told him south was the Kur and there fore probably was the place Silver came from. When he did leave there he would be rich, probably not with gold but with something more.
The Kur laughed and nodded, thinking he meant his pay for training the sleen, "I don't doubt it for a second." He said and then led them into another chamber, but this one was smaller and more comfortable. He offered Daniel a chair near an opening in the rockface that led down to a lava pit. It explained the warmth within the mountain. "Come." he said, "Sit and we shall toast our agreement.".....
Once in the other chamber, Daniel looked down at Silver. "Come my little slave. All is alright. No one is going to take you away." He sat down in a chair as Black Wine was brought (Coffee). Mama settled down on one side of Daniel.
Silver moved cautiously to Daniel's side as he sat and as Mama settled in one spot on one side of him, Silver knelt down and settled at the other. She spread her knees a little, but more for comfort and balance than for anyone's pleasure. The Kur noticed this and grinned, "You have trained her well." He said, "How long have you had her?".....
"Not long. She is intelligent and full of surprises." he caressed her cheek. "She pleases me. The Black Wine was served and Daniel took his with out anything in it. He smiled as he tasted the hot liquid. Daniel hoped that he could come up with a plan soon to free those like Silver and be gone. He did not like the Kur nor what he was planning. Daniel had thought of using sleen as war sleen but after the battle of Port Cos he didn't think it was a good idea any more. He knew now what they could do and if the Kur succeeded in creating an army of handlers and sleen they could wipe out any force sent against them.
The Kur grinned again and took his black wine. Like Daniel, he didn't take any hoey or cream with it, but he did look at Silver. "And how well trained is she?" He asked, "Does she know how to sweeten a man's wine?" At Daniel's side, Silver looke up at her beloved, her fear still very present and clear in her glittering silver eyes. When the Kur mentioned sweetening the wine, she shuddered and pursed her lips, begging Daniel silently to say she didn't know how.....
"She still has many things to learn, but she is getting there." he told him. "As I said before, I have not seen the likes of you on Gor or heard of your kind. Tell me of your people."
Kur regarded Daniel again carefully and then swirled his black wine some before speaking. "The Kurii are a space people these days." He said, "We destroyed our planet in pursuit of war, so we needed a new home." He looked around the cavern, "We intended to colonise Gor and your planet, Earth, but the Priest Kings ruined our plans and brought war on us again. Most of the Kurii are still in space, waiting for the fall of the Priest Kings, so we can continue our colonisation. You won't hear of us thanks to those talking insects. They've decimated our numbers and halted our plans for this planet. They've waged war on us now for centuries."....
"They sound powerful. Are they as numerous as your people and war like." He had to make him think he had no idea of what the Priest Kings were. "Surely there are other worlds out there that can support life, what makes these two planets so desireable."
Kur growled under his breath and pursed his thin black lips. "Sadly, they are both." He said before noding to Silver, "Hence the reason for her bloodline. The Priest Kings have held us pretty much captive in orbit around Jupiter for the last sixteen thousand years and what few of us there are here on Gor, they encourage the humans to hunt us down." He drank his black wine and then sat the goblet down on the floor. "Personally, I'd love to hunt down those humans and eat them as a good predator should, dumb monkeys, but they do have their uses. Toranto for example and yourself. Your planets are good, mostly Gor, because they are low in polution and rich in natural resources. This far south though, is not comfortable for me, I much prefer the far North, where your pretty little morsal went missing, but until I can repair my ship, I'm stuck here.".....
Monkeys, hunt down humans to eat them. Well that defianetly did not go over to well with Daniel, but he did not let it show. Daniel only nodded. "I would imagine life on such ships as you have would be cramped and not to comfortable. Is there no way you can make peace with these Priest Kings. Have a place to bring your people. This world is large and as you said not so over populated as Earth is, nor as advanced in weapons."
Kur growled again under his breath, "It is the Priest Kings that have stopped the technological advance needed." He snapped....
"Stopped the technology?" he shugged his shoulders. "I kind of like that part. Being from Earth and coming here, I have found that with out the advance technology of weapons one needs to face his enemy as one should. Would you not rather see your enemy up close when you fight them?" He regarded the Kur. You said you destroyed your own world, such technology would do the same here if it was brought here.
The Kur nodded as he smiled, "As you wish Daniel." He said, then looked at Mama and Silver as Toranto made his compliments to Daniel. He beckoned that they follow him then as he turned away. Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Kur looked at Daniel suddenly as though he had two heads. "Fight up close with my enemy?" He asked, "Why would I want to do that? You see, this is why some prefer Earth. Earth technology has advanced to a stage to which we can move it along in our favour and they have the right idea when it comes to warfare. Gor is barbaric and backward thanks to the Priest Kings and they keep it that way for their own benefit, so they may remain in control. You would never see them with swords and spears. They can kill from a distance and that is the true way of warfare. Why put yourself in danger when you can remove your enemy from afar?" He grinned then and eased back into his chair as he regarded Silver once more. "When I have learned the secret within your little slave, I can move my plans forward and you will of course be rewarded for your servitude to me."

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
The Kur was an arrogant creature. It thought itself superior to humans. He liked the killing of enemies at a distance yet here he was, with a damaged ship that the Priest Kings had shot down. Daniel bet that he didn't like that part of the technology that stranded him. Daniel only smiled as the Kur spoke. There would be a time that the Kur would be put in his place.
"Will there be more of your kind coming here to aid you?" he asked, "I think that you have indeed hit upon an idea that could be an interesting weapon." He didn't think the Priest Kings would allow such a thing to happen though. Such a thing would unbalance the stabillity of Gor. But then again if the Kur could come in force with their weapons, it might be a fight that the Priest Kings could not win.
Daniel sipped more of his Black Wine, enjoying the flavor and the warmth of it. "If you will exsuse me, I have been traveling a long time and need some rest. If you could have Toranto show us to our quarters, I will rest and then continue with your sleen." Daniel rose from his chair making Mama come to her feet immediately.

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Kur nodded and looked into the orange glow of the lava pit far below them. "Once I can get a signal past the Priest King's spy up there." He said, pointing upward, "And they shall reign fire down on the Sadar Mountains, forcing them into the open without their precious weapons." He balled his fist and grinned at it. He had hit on an idea, Daniel had said. The puny human had no idea the true devastation that idea wold create when put into force.
His thoughts were then broken as Daniel stood and tried to excuse himself for the night. "Of course." He said, also getting up. He noted that Silver was also instantly on her feet. Such plans he had for her, but he just had to get her away from Daniel. A plan began to form in his mind, but for now, he would play nice. He nodded to Toranto as the human entered. "Take Daniel and his possessions to his quarters for the night." He said and then sat back down again to consider his plans.
"Yes Sir." Toranto said and then looked to Daniel. "Follow me." And he turned about and started walking.
Close to Daniel, far closer than usual, Silver refrained from actually reaching for Daniel's arm for comfort, but then Mama moved around and nudged her into him anyway. Silver growled softly at her, but she was grateful nonetheless. "Master." She whispered, "Master, please leash me again? And sleep with your blade? I fear the monster won't keep his word."
Toranto, unaware of Silver's whisperings to her Master, led them down a series of tunnels to a large cavern that looked to house a number of open cots. Slaves waited in many of them, chained through their collars to the walls of the cavern and they all quickly knelt as Daniel entered with Toranto. "Anything you need, the slaves will attend you." He said. "I look forward to seeing what you can do when you have rested." He looked Silver up and down and licked his lips, though he was careful not to speak his thoughts out loud.
Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Once Toranto was gone he turned to Silver. "I do not trust the Kur either. Oh he will do everything he can to take you. He has no honor as we know it. Perhaps with his own kind but from what I see in him perhaps there is none among them. They did after all destroy their own planet in war. We do not do that here." He found a place for them to rest.
He removed his shield and sat it down and removed the claws. He took Silver's arms and attached the bracers to her wrists. "They try anything, you know what to do." he then took her into his arms and kissed her. "No one is taking you from me." he told her.
Toranto had heard the exchange between Daniel and the Kur. He did not like what the Kur had said. Calling humans monkeys, wanting to eat them, Servitude. No he was not a servent of the Kur, he was employed for money. Him and his free company were employed and could leave at any time they wished. The way the Kur talked, humans were beneath him and that did not sit well with him. Especially when it came to fighting. The Kur had no honor. Would not fight one on one with his enemy, face to face and prefered to kill at a great distance. That was not sitting well with him. He had left Daniel, Silver and Mama but only for a few minutes and he came back.
Daniel looked up at him as he approached. "I fear my guarentee for your safety may not be worth anything. My men are above ground in three camps like you seen. Those here in the cavern are others in the Kur's employ." He then spotted the bracers on Silver and looked at Danie and smiled. "I see you do not trust him or any one here. That is good, but should trouble arise........I have tired of this place anyways."

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Silver sighed with relief when Daniel finally spoke of his suspicions and when he took her by the arms and strapped her claws on, she felt instantly better and much safer. Now she could defend herself. By the furs, Mama grunted her satisfaction too and then settled down to rest some. Silver then nodded to his command. She knew plenty what to do. "Gut them." She said darkly. Just then, Toranto came back.
Mama smelled him first and then Silver did as he approached and when he spoke to warn Daniel, Silver growled again, but held her mouth for the moment. When he told of his tiring of Kur and the mountain, Silver growled again. "And why should we believe you?" She asked boldly.
Toranto lifted his brow at the ballsy slave, "Very vocal, isn't she?" He said to Daniel.
"Yes I am." Silver snapped, "And I asked you a question."
Toranto narrowed his eyes at Silver, "You will mind yourself among Free Men, slave." He said with warning.
Silver held up her claws, "I am no slave when given my claws." She said quickly, "The Ubar of Sadar decreed it so. So long as I have these, I am free to do as I please to whom I please and I have killed and eaten men and beast bigger than you with little hesitation, so you will mind yourself around, Sir."
Toranto considered Silver very carefully then before he regarded Daniel once more and smiled again. "I can see the appeal." He said, then nodded, "My offer stands, should you need of me and my men." He looked at Silver then too, "And you, She Sleen." He said.
Silver nodded back, but said nothing more. She'd made her point....

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Daniel turned to her after Toranto was gone. "Now that could have been a bit more civil." he told her, "He is a warrior, a true warrior, one with out a home. But he is honorable and his word is his bond." Daniel inspected the claws and found them ready for use. "Stay close to Mama this time. I don't want to lose either of you. He looked over at Mama. She had been killed once and brought back He didn't think it woud be possible again. To him Mama was part of his family there on Gor. Free to come and go as she pleased, but she would always hold a place in his heart.
"He is a mercenary and a bandit." Silver said back, "A warrior for coin. There is no loyalty in that. I see no reason to be civil with the uncivilised." She realised that Daniel had once been the same, but he had found a home and hailed to Sadar's home stone now and to her knowledge, he had never attacked pilgrims or folk on their travels to rob them. That was a Warrior for coin on Gor. She nodded at being told to remain with Mama. She agreed whole heartedly about that, she didn't want to lose her mother a second time, but it was nice to hear Daniel say it.....
Daniel Chuckled. "And what was Darious and the others of Sadar before the home stone. They were all good people, just ones without homes to fight for and had to make a living. Toranto is no differnt. He leads a Free Company. No alligence to anyone, for hire. Ubars and Administrator's use them to bolster their forces. Most are honorable men. Those that prey on pilgrims and people of the like are not warriors but scum, that has lost all honor." He put a hand on her shoulder. "You can trust me in this matter."
"They were not hired by the Kurii." She said, "Toranto was, knowing full well what he was too and he still took the coin. And what about what we saw out there?" She pointed to the entrance to the main cavern, "He's played a big part in that too. If what the Priest Kings claim is true, then everything being done here is an abomination, including me. He and his men have been party to that without care. That is not honour, Daniel.".....
She did not understand the concept of a Warrior's honor. Once he took a contract should he be a mercenary, he did what he was ordered to do even if he did not like it or until he could stomach it no more and left. Yes he and his men were a part of what was going on there, but how long had they been there, it was hard to say. They guarded the outside of the underground complex, other's guarded the inside. "He is hired to guard the complex, and has nothing to do what goes on here, even if he knows of it. He has his men to think of and not just himself." he took her into his arms, "And you are not an abomination, you are uniqe yse, and precious to me."
Silver hissed some at Daniel's explanation, but firmed her jaw and refrained from speaking her mind further. When he held her and told her again she was not what she would be considered to be, it was a comfort, but only a small one. Calling her precious to him meant more and she let her anger go for the moment. "Then at least I am something." She said quietly....
"Now try to get some rest. I have a feeling we will be busy here soon." This was not going to be like Sadar, where he had to wait and see why they were raiding Port Cos. No he already knew what was going on and he had to end it and end it fast. Before the Kur could fulfill his plans and bring down the power of the Kurii on the Priest Kings.
One of the slaves, one of the short human males came forward with furs and placed them down. Daniel could see he had no liking for him and he could understand. As the short man was about to leave, Daniel said, "Stay, I wish to talk to you."
The man stopped and turned back his eyes down to regard Daniel some. He did not speak and Daniel Continued. "What is your name and what did you do before becomeing a slave here."
There was a bit of anger in the mans voice, "I am Mortock, and I was chief of my tribe." he said, with a bit of pride in his voice.
Daniel smiled and raised a brow. "How well do you know these tunnels?" he asked.
"Like the back of my hand." Mortoc replied, raising his eyes some. He spotted the sleen and his eyes went wide, and then he saw the bracers on Silver and looked up fully at Daniel. "Why?" he asked with intrest.
"Would you and your people wish to be free?" he asked. "Free to return to your homes and no longer have to worry about the big hairy one?"
Now the man's eyes were glistening with intrest and hope. "Continue." Mortoc replied.
"I have seen your people are not chained or shackled. But these other slaves are. Get the key for their shackles if you can and be ready to free them of thier bonds." he was not about to let the small humans or the slaves be ripped a part by the sleen, nor the people like Silver. "Also get word to those like Silver here to be ready if they wish freedom."
Mortock grinned and said, "I will do as you have asked. I do not know what you are planning but I can suggest a way to help you. In the Forest above, live ants. They are two inches in length and devour all they come in contact with." That reminded Daniel of the Army Ants of Earth. "Lure them into one of the tunnels leading down with some meat and they will deal with the guards and the Hairy one."
Now that was something that could be done. He just needed an excuse to go above ground and kill some animal. Mortock then left to do what he said he would.
Silver listened with dark intent and a darker smile on her lips as Daniel spoke to one of the half men that had been enslaved. He was laying down the plan to free everyone from the Kurii and Silver liked that. Clearly, the half man had once been a proud chief and he wanted to be that again and it seemed his entire village had been enslaved. As the plan went through Silver's mind, she discovered she had the perfect excuse to bring dead meat into the cavern and drawn in the ants. She waited until Mortock had gone before she turned her eyes up to Daniel. "I have an idea." She said and then looked to Mama. "And the perfect guise to get you in and out again. We need to hunt."......

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Daniel chuckled as he heard her idea. Oh yes she was more then precious to him, she was a source of ideas as well. Something a master and slave shared a lot. It was something that made them happy and to get to know each other even better. Though a master would never admit that his slave gave him an idea that probably saved the city or something like that, some times their suggestions or ideas was quite world changing.
"We will wait a bit until Mortock has secured the keys. We will have the ants come in one way and we will go the other way and block the tunnel so none of those below can escape. Between the sleen and the ants I think the Kurii will have to find another home, or hopefully it finds his final resting place here." He patted her ass and shooed her off to the furs to rest and to hide her claws. No sense in letting the Kur know she had them.

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Silver nodded and quickly went to the furs and buried herself in them almost. She would not sleep, but she would rest and she would wait for the moment Daniel's plan came together. And she felt a little proud of herself too that he had thought her idea good enough to put into practice, though something told her he would rather not see her engage in battle this time. He had said it earlier too, that he would rather she ran with Mama and leave him there, but Silver had no intention of doing that.
The ehns ticked by and soon, it was an ahn, then two ahns and Mortock so far wasn't seen. Was he having trouble with the keys? Had he been caught? Had he been killed? Had Toranto betrayed them already? There were so many questions going through her mind that she didn't realise she nodded off for a while. She woke again with a start on hearing mama give a low growl. Someone was coming. Silver opened her eyes a little, but didn't lift her head and she measured her breathing so it appeared she was still asleep. It was Mortock and he had the keys.
"I have released all the slaves." The half man said quietly to Daniel, "The silver haired ones too. They are ready to run on your nod and my people are ready to fight. This Kurii monster owes us a debt of pain and suffering and we intend to collect. Whenever you are ready, Warrior." He looked them to Silver, "I hope your woman will be able to defend herself, Sir, for this won't be a pretty thing. If she cannot fight, I suggest you leave her with the other silver haired people and let her run." Silver growled low in her throat in response, of course she could defend herself. Did he not see her claws? Perhaps not.....

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Daniel waited and waited. He was having his doubts about Mortock being able to secure the keys. They surely would be kept on someone's person, perhaps one of the guards in the cavern. But after a couple ahn he returned saying he had unlocked the shackles of the slaves and the silver haired ones.
Daniel then smiled down at Mama and Silver. "Time to put our plan into affect." He turned to Mortock. When I return, take everyone up the other tunnel and out. Fight only if you have to but everyone must be out of the cavern. Mortock nodded and was off again. Daniel then went to one of the guards and told him Mama needed to hunt and that Silver would be going as well.
The guard looked at Daniel strangely and Daniel chuckled. "The Kur has been trying to create a race of people that can fight with the sleen and control them. My slave already is like that and will hunt with the She Sleen. It is facinating to watch the two work together. The Guard not knowing any better let him, Silver and Mama go to the surface. It was not hard to locate the Ant colony. Must have been millions of them. Nor was it long before Mama had the carcase that they needed. Though she probably would have loved to devour it she let Daniel cut pieces off and toss them near the ants and then hurry forward dropping pieces and dragging the corpse to allow the blood to trail. Down into the tunnel he went and when he passed the guard, he smiled and dragged it into the main cavern where the ship was and most of the guards. Here he dropped the body and went to the pens before anyone knew what he was doing. The Alpha regarded him and Mama and Silver. He pointed to the guards and growled, and Mama also growled her instructions. The sleen moved their tails back and forth licking their chops.

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Silver smiled again darkly as Daniel said it was time and she got out of the furs again, but stayed on the ground rather than stand up. She remained that way going up to the main entrance to the caverns, giving the guard even more reason to stare at her. Daniel's explanation made her smile again and she trotted off with Mama, her backside in the air just to taunt him.
While Daniel went to find the ant colony, Silver and Mama went off in search of a good sized carcass to use as the bait. At first, they went after a small tabuk, but the rainforest was too dense to give a decent line on it and it escaped into a thicket of short trees where Mama and Silver could not go. In the end, they worked their way to the edge of the forest. The open plains were much easier to hunt for them and it wasn't long before they found a lone, small bosk grazing. It was odd, but meat was meat so they went after it. They brought it down with relative ease and then it was a case of dragging it back to Daniel.
By the time they got it there, he had located the nest and the ants were already coming out to investigate and by the size of the mound, it was a massive colony. Mama dropped the carcass by Daniel and then watched almost forlornly as it cut chunks off it and then dragged it into the caves. The ants were following within minutes, so Silver knew they didn't have much time before the alarm was raised.
Once inside, Daniel quickly got Mortock going and then it was to the sleen pens. Silver growled at the Alpha too as Mama did and he regarded them both with dark glee. The rest of the sleen soon shared his look and they started swaying their tales with anticipation. Mama did also and Silver wished she could, but instead, scraped her claws along the cavern floor. Then, just as the gate was released, the ants arrived and chaos ensued.....

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Daniel opened the gate wide and a couple guards yelled out. He did not quite catch what they said but was probably something like "Are you crazy?" Daniel smiled as he again pointed to the guards that would block the escape route. The sleen bound forward towards them and they tried to run but they were to slow. The sleen pounced and began ripping their tormentors apart.
At the screams and cries for help more men appeared from another side cavern to a scene of horror. Mortock had his people, the slaves and silver haired people running for the exit. The ants began pouring in and those that had just showed up were now trying to run from them as they began to be covered by the ants. Daniel quickly lead Mama and Silver to the exit and called to the sleen to follow. They seeing the swarm of ants knew better then to stay so followed.
Daniel had dropped the carcas of the bosk near the Kur ship and it was soon surrounded by them. At the sound of the screams the Kur came out to see what was going on and that is when the ants sensed him and made for him. As Daniel made it to the tunnel entrance he heard the roar of the Kur in pain and he smiled. He turned to Silver, "Lead the Sleen out to the plains and send them on their way. Don't let them attack Toranto's men.
Behind him the screams were becoming less and less But up ahead there were shouts and it seemed that there were more guards. He just hoped it was not Toranto's men. As he reached the area of fighting, he was releived to see it was not the case. He nodded to Silver and Mama. They and the sleen would take care of the new guards.
Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Silver was gone the instant the sleen were let loose and Mama was with them also. Silver was snapped at once or twice as a juvenile, but they soon learned she was just as deadly as they were and she attacked with full force. The bloodshed was immense, but they didn't have long as the ants were soon pouring in by the million. Daniel had disturbed not a big nest, but a massive one! When called, Silver and Mama instantly followed Daniel and the others soon fell in also and they all made their way out, but Silver smiled as he dropped the dead bosk by the ship as a leaving present. It wasn't long before she too heard the screaming from the Kurii as he was overwhelmed and eaten alive.
Once outside, it got even more interesting as more guards began turning up to defend their employer. Silver needed no encouragement to go after them and was already well on her way when Daniel nodded at her and Mama, though Mama hesitated long enough to gain his permission first. The other Alpha looked at Daniel before his eyes began to follow Mama and Silver and he too was then bounding towards the guards. In only a minute or so, the pack with Silver and Mama, had literally torn down every soldier and were eagerly eating what they could before moving on. Such was te frenzy that Toranto's men would be in danger also if they got in the way.....
Daneil watched the slaughter as did Mortock and his people. They were amazed and looked at Daniel as if he was something more then a man. One that controled sleen, had them attack those he directed and leave his people and the others alone. "You are a great man warrior." Mortock said. "My people and I owe you a great debt of gratatude. You will always be welcomed here in the Rain Forest. Know you have many friends here that will be at your service if you wish." With that the little man and his people disapeared into the Jungle. That left the slaves and the silver haired people.
"Now take the sleen to the plains so they can hunt and have their fill and return here." he told Silver and Mama. "Then we will seek out Toranto and inform him his services here are no longer required."
When it was all over, Silver and Mama returned to Daniel, both looking as bloodied and gored as they had done in that first battle. When he ordered them to take the sleen into the plains, Mama grunted and Silver nodded and they both took off, growling at the sleen to follow them. The Alpha lingered though and regarded Daniel with something very close to jealousy. He reared up a little, but kept his distance before he went off after Mama and Silver and his pack. Silver and Mama led the pack well into the plains and after only a short time, they came across a herd of bosk. It was perhaps the herd from which their lure had been seperated from. Silver and Mama sat back then some as the pack selected their prey and went after it. Only the Alpha stayed behind. Hunting wasn't his job. He moved to Mama and Silver and began to circle them, judging them for his pack was his nature to do. He decided Mama was too old, but Silver, as a juvenile, was just what he wanted to compliment his pack, especially with her skill and those deadly claws. He circled her more closely, but Mama got in the way and growled at him. Silver was taken already by her Alpha, but that didn't stop this Alpha exerting his dominance and after a lot of loud growling and some skitting about each other, Mama had to back down. He was stronger and bigger than her. The Alpha, victorious, began to circle Silver more and nudge at her. Silver hissed back and made to move to Mama, but he blocked her path and reared up at her.....
Daniel waited and it seemed it was taking them a bit to get back, after what should have only been a few ehn. He looked at the slaves and said, "You will stay here or I will feed you to the sleen. That made them cringe and bow their heads as they knelt before him. He looked at the silver haired ones and told them. "You also will stay here and keep watch over these slaves." They nodded and then Daniel set off to find Silver and Mama.
In the distance he saw the Bosk heard running from the sleen. As he continued, he saw the Alpha, circling Silver. He shook his head and unsheathed his sword and readied his shield. As he approached he let out a low growl from his throat.
Silver continued to growl and hiss at the Alpha sleen and when he started getting far too close, she lashed out, leaving four fine streaks down his already battle scarred snout. Mama also tried to intervene, but a swift bat of his tail saw the female being shoved away with force. To him, Silver was playing hard to get. She continued to fight back until finally, she struck out deep enough that it really did hurt the Alpha. The huge male growled dangerously then and leapt at Silver, pinning her to the ground. Silver growled back and swiped her claws again at the male and this time, it was enough to make him back off a step, but he wasn't giving up. He wanted Silver for his pack, or no pack would have her. And then Daniel appeared and Mama quickly roared, gaining Silver's attention. With his weapon out, the Alpha saw him as a threat then and took a defensive stance. It would be hard to beat him down and Silver didn't want her beloved injured again. Fiding a brief space between the male sleen's front feet, Silver quickly shot through and went running for Daniel, Mama hot on her heels for protection. It only took a moment for Silver to cover the distance and she quickly shot between Daniel's legs. Mama arrived seconds later and quickly turned around, growling and hissing at the male Alpha. She started backing up towards Daniel and Silver to protect them. Silver hissed and growled too before she dug her claws into the ground. The male slowed his advance and lowered his head, growling dangerously at Daniel. He considered the other male a threat and a rival. "Pin me." Silver said quickly between her growls and hissing....
Daniel smiled as the the sleen slowly made his approach. He was not one to forget a mistake and was ready with his shield. If he had to he could use the edge of the shield, bringing it down with a force that could crush and break bone. An injured sleen, especially an alpha would then be prey to the younger and egar male sleen. Silver told him to pin her to the ground. So he did just that with a foot. But that did not seem to deter the sleen that evidently wanted her for himself and his pack. He growled chalanging Daniel for Silver, then he charged.
Daniel at the last moment turned keeping his shield up to protect him from the front claws of the sleen. He felt them hit the shield and then he brought the edge of the shiled down on the hind flank of the sleen and heard bone crack. The sleen stumbled some and as it turned to attack again, it's right hind leg would not work properly. It was limping, It would not be able to charge as it had before. Daniel began approaching it and it backed up some the best it could. It knew it could not attack and succeed. Not with its rear leg broken. it slowly backed away, admitting defeat. Daniel then backed up to Mama and Silver. "Come we must go now. The pack will return and there wills soon be a new alpha of the Pack."
When Daniel put his foot to Silver's back to pin her, Silver growled and hit the deck as she should, but that wasn't the kind if pinning that the other Alpha would have recognised and so it didn't defuse the approach and the fight ensued. Silver whimpered as the Alpha made his attack, but then Daniel did something he ahd not done before. He ducked down and covered them with his shield before he turned it and slammed it into the male's hind leg. Silver flinched as she heard the joint break and it was all over quickly after that. When the disgraced Alpha backed off and limped away, and Daniel said it was time to go, neither Mama nor Silver hesitated and both started trotting off after him. As a passing insult, Mama flicked her tail at the male and then shoved Silver into Daniel's legs roughly. The sleen varient of "told you so".....
They were soon back at the place that he had told the slaves and Silver haired people to wait. They were there waiting and Looked at Daniel with fear and uncertainty. "Come." he said and lead them off through the Rain Forest to where he figured Toranto's camp was. He found it and it seemed that Toranto either already knew, or he himself had had enough and was packing the camp up. When he saw Daniel and the others he raised a brow. Daniel laughed and said, "I see you are leaving. It is good, as your services are no longer required here. "
Toranto grinned and shook his head. "I should have known that you were not here to hunt or train." he looked at the silver haired people. "What are you going to do with them?" he asked.
"I will take them back to Sadar with me. They will find a new home there." Daniel looked at Toranto. "It is a new settlement at the base of the northen slopes of the Sadar Mountains. "Should you find your self that way, you will be welcomed. If you tire of being with out a home, you will find one there. I can always use good men there."
"I never heard of Sadar." Toranto said, then he realized what Daniel had just said and looked at him.
"It is a new settlement of sorts. It use to be a haven for mercenaries with out a home stone and bandits, outcasts and the like. But now it has a home stone and can use men like you and your company." He noticed the look Toranto gave him and laughed. "I am the Military Commander there. Darious is my Ubar and he would welcome you and your men." he turned looking at the slave girls kneeling. "Compensation for you and your men." he smiled at Toranto. "They could fetch a good price at the proper market."
Toranto laughed then and took Daniels out streached arm. "Perhaps one day I may come and take you up on your offer." One of his men brought Daniels Tharlion and then he ordered packs be filled with food and equipment for the silverhaired people. He then looked at Silver, and raised a brow. "I see what she said was true. A remarkable slave you have there Daniel Campbell. Daniel looked at her and nodded.
An Ahn later they were walking out of the Rain Forest north, back towards Sadar, with Silver's people about them. One looked at Silver and braved to get closer. "I knew your mother and father." She said. It was hard to tell how old she was with the seurm that made people age so slowly. "They were brave people that wanted you to be free of the Kur. We all hoped that they succeeded in getting away."
Once back at the camp, Silver stayed back some with Mama as Daniel and Toranto spoke. The slaves were given to him as recompense and offered to come to Sadar some day. Silver wasn't sure about that, she still didn't like the man much, but if Daniel liked him, then it wasn't her place to dscourage him again. It took some time, but eventually, they were off through the plains again and heading home. Silver stayed with Mama this time, but she walked upright again. She still had her claws, but she had turned the braces around so they went up her forearms instead. The sleen pack had gone and neither Silver nor Mama could even smell them on the winds. As the troup walked, one of them came to Silver and started talking to her. The woman had known her parents. Silver levelled her gaze with the woman and shook her head, "I never knew them." She said honestly. "The Priest Kings told me they had died while I was young." She then pointed to Mama, "She is my mother. She raised me as her own pup.".....
"I am sorry for your loss." she said and looked at the She Sleen. "A number of our young died trying to have she sleen raise them. I wonder what made this one accept you?" the woman looked back at the others, then back to Silver. What is the place we go to like. All we have known is the Cavern, and a bit of the Jungle."
Silver shook her head, "There is no need to be sorry." She told the other woman, "For I did not know them at all and I have no memory of them ever being there. I only remember Mama." She then furrowed her brow some, "Well, I do remember having siblings." She said, "So perhaps Mama found me at the right time. she probably had a litter and lost one, so I became the unlost pup." She shrugged her shoulders and then carried on, but it wasn't long before the woman asked yet more questions. Silver smiled then and nodded, "I think you will like Sadar." She said, "It sits just at the foot of the Northern side of the mountain, so it is sheltered from any weather. The days are warm as are the nights. The lands beyond the walls are lush with tall grass and perfect for large prey hunting and water is drawn into the city from the river through underground aqueducts. At night, you can see the stars and you can hear the night predators beyond the walls. The town is still relatively small, but it is growing quickly and there are many kinds of people there from all over the continent. Most of them are warriors and former miscreants, but they are a good people and I can promise you will find good homes, all of you.".....
Daniel walked with the rest, leading the tharlion. it was the only way to keep them all together, and the Tharlion carried most of the supplies and equipment they needed for the journey. They passed many lakes, of which Daniel told Silver to go clean up in. Mama went with her to protect her and make sure she got cleaned. They had plenty of fresh water and Mama found plenty of game to bring down and feed upon and also bring back to Daniel to help feed the Silver haired ones.
Looking at them and at Silver he wondered what kind of people they would become. They had been changed geneticly but they were still human. Perhaps one day they would be able to do what the Kur wanted. Sadar now had a large pack of sleen that kept close to the city. Daniel had given up the idea of war sleen, but he had a feeling that if the need arose the sleen there with Mama, would defend the growing city with the warriors and tarnsmen. Perhaps Silver's people would be able bond with them and be another powerful force to help keep Sadar safe. The days passed and he kept Silver close to him. At night he would keep her close to him in the furs and during the day enjoy walking and talking with her. He let her keep the bracers incase they would bee needed, but nothing bothered them. Soon enough the mountains loomed before them. Home was not far away. A few days more and they would be home. He would then find a way to send for Wind Strike. For he had no wish to return to the caverns of the Priest Kings.
Once outside, it got even more interesting as more guards began turning up to defend their employer. Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
The days began to pass and Silver got to know the other silver haired people that as it happened, were mostly related in one fashion or another to her. Silver had a family. As they passed the lakes and such again, Daniel ordered her to bathe and indeed, Mama made sure she was literally shining again before she returned to Daniel's side again. For much of the time, Silver walked up front with Daniel and it was wonderful. They talked as though equals and did much of what she learned to be earth couples did together. They held hands as they walked and sometimes, Daniel would walk with his arm around her and at night, she would crawl into his furs with him and be loved. It all felt like a wonderful dream to Silver. And Daniel allowed her to keep her claws too, though she had no need to wear them, for it was clear they would not be harassed by anything. She took to tying them to the rope belt of her silks.
The days wore on and they eventually began to see the mountains on the horizon. There was still a few days travel to get home, but at least they were almost there. Silver helped the others make up the camp for the night, teaching them how to build fires and such so they could cope better when she left them and returned to her slavery so to speak. As before, Mama was happy to provide the hunting and for that night, there was a large bosk skewered between several sticks. It wasn't the last night of the journey, but for some reason, Silver felt like celebrating.
With a full moon above them, Silver and the other women began to sing and dance around the fire while the men watched on with pleasure and arousal. Throughout history, the moon had held a strange power over a woman. It was a phenomenon that left the women in something of a trance and eager to embrace the silver light of it. The phenomenon was most powerful at the solstices of the year and during that time, many women, especially the Free Women, would lock themselves away in a feeble attempt to deny the orbiting celestial their bodies. Slaves were never allowed that and would often be shackled outside to prevent them denying the feeling. Now, as it was coming the final passing of the year and in turn, the winter solstice, despite the warmth still in the ground and on the wind, the power of the moon was reaching its peak.
Shedding what clothing the women had, they began to turn and dance about the large fire, using their bodies to mimic the flames and give praise to the moon. Having been trained so intensely over the last weeks and months, Silver was able to use her body to a much better advantage than her silver sisters and many of the men there couldn't help but stare at her as she moved and they began to beat a rhythm in the ground with their fists and feet. Daniel was encouraged to join in with them and take his place as an agitator for the women. Even Mama joined in by thumping her long tail in time, enjoying watching her daughter please their Alpha.....

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
He could see Silver was enjoying the journey now. He talked to her and listened to what she had to say. They was a time of really getting to know his slave alot better. She also talked with her people and found that she was family in one way or another. They understood about her slavery, but they viewed things a bit different then the rest of the world. Their women did not cover up nor did they fear being with the men. They had grew up under a very different concept of living. Daniel had to explain a few things to them about the outside world and that they needed to be careful, especially the women.
One night they feasted on Bosk. Cooked over a fire, the smell of cooking meat filled the air as the women began to dance with Silver among them. It reminded him of stories told about Panther Women and how they danced under the moon to a frenzy of movement and secuality. He watched Silver and knew that night in the furs she would be providing him with much pleasure.
As they continued to dance one by one the women were grabbed and taken off to the furs. Daniel rose and grabbed Silver and pulled her to him, grinning. She too was soon laid on furs and Daniel had removed his clothing and joined her, bringing her to him and kissing her deeply.

Silver had been almost oblivious in her dance and didn't notice that the other women were whisked away into the furs. It was only when Daniel grabbed her and held her to him that she realised what was happening. She was not frightened though, for she already knew the effect her dancing had on him. It wasn't long before she felt the furs underneath her and when Daniel drew her near to kiss her, she returned the kiss with passion and pleasure. Just beyond the shelter, Mama seemed to grin as she settled down for the night, though it wasn't long before the stillness was interrupted by the sounds of pleasure from the other shelters.
Staring up at Daniel as their kiss ended, Silver positioned herself as she knew he liked and smiled demurely. "The final hand will pass soon." She told him as she traced her fingers down his chest and then below. "And the slave's revolt will begin." Her smile turned into a mirthful grin. "Oh, how I shall enjoy those few days. I will be Master and you will be slave." She pulled him down and kissed him again, but more lovingly this time. "And you can warm my furs as I have warmed yours."......

Re: A Warrior of Gor (reserved for LadyBird Raven)
Daniel grinned when she talked about the Slave Revolt. A time of the year when Masters became the slave and the Slave the Master. The slaves enjoyed such a time but had to be wary. For after the short time they became slaves once more and if they displeased their masters in that time or did things that should not have been done, the slave would indeed be punished or sold. Not many wanted to risk such a thing.
"Now how did you learn of this." he asked her. Surely in her previous captivity, she was not allowed such a thing and would have been kept from slaves that knew of it. But that was a couple days off yet and they had yet a few days before they made it to Sadar. He did not think it would be a good time for such a thing. If they were in Sadar, it would not be a bad thing, but in the open country, and not knowing what had transpired the last couple of weeks, it just was not a good thing, but tradition was tradition.

Silver let her grin linger a while before she answered, taking him gently in hand under the furs. "I have ears, my love and I have eyes. I may never have been allowed to partake in the revolt, but I listen and I watch and I learn." She began stroking his cock and guiding him to her as she lifted her knees. "Though, I think privately, we don't need a revolt, for I know you worship me as I worship you anyway and I gain satisfaction and pleasure from making and seeing you happy." She lifted her head slowly and kissed him once more, pulling him down atop her.
From the other shelters, it began to sound like Silver and Daniel had some catching up to do and even Mama began to grunt in frustration at the noise. The sleen finally had enough and got to her feet and she moved further away from the camp, but as she looked up at the moon, she realised that no distance would be far enough. Silver and Daniel didn't bother her, for they were supposed to be a mated pair which to her had a purpose, but to have to listen to all of them at once was too much for her. She gave a small grunt as she moved yet further away from them and covered her head with her front paws to try and drown out the noise......

"Yes you would enjoy that now wouldn't you. He grinned. But remember what happens after those few days." he warned her. She began to move his cock to her and he let it slide up inside her as he returned her kiss and began moving his hips to move his cock in and out of her wet pussy. "You sure you want to be a mistress?" he asked her.
Out on the plain a lone male sleen wandered. He looked as if he was searching for something and it was not game. He had traveled a long way from home and for a long time. On the wind he caught a scent. One he had not smelled or thought to have smelled for a long time. He set out at a dead run towards it. In the distance he saw the camp fires of humans and slowed. He gave a low growl as he did not want to get near to them. Humans had captured its mate and he did not feel like being caught this close to finding her again.
